OmCulture Wallingford: what do users think?

march nicole laden: While OmCulture offers a variety of dances and events, my mainstays are the ecstatic dance sessions held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, as well as special occasions like NYE and BloomDance. The environment is truly unique: a spacious, responsive floor; soft lighting; comfortable rest areas; and an acoustically delightful sound system. Facilities are consistently clean, and cubbies are provided for personal belongings. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, as are your fellow dancers. Parking in the neighborhood can be a challenge during larger events, but the location is easily accessible via public transport and the Burke-Gilman trail. The community at OmCulture thrives on respect, consent, and acceptance. Classes are led by knowledgeable and supportive facilitators, and alternative accommodations are readily available so that everyone, regardless of skill level, can participate. I've gained invaluable insights from the community class offerings and am eager to explore structured dance classes in the future.Initially, I felt intimidated by the vastness of the space and the unfamiliarity of dance culture. Over time, OmCulture quickly became a second home where I discovered a supportive community. I highly recommend the experience to anyone seeking connection, growth, and joy through movement.“Dance, when you're broken open. Dance, if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.” ― Rumi

Emily Fletcher: had a wonderful time running and jumping and swinging. Michael made sure we had everything we needed

Peter Truong: Great place for alternative dance styles like Fusion and Ecstatic. Atmosphere relaxing and energetic. They make their money from entrance fees and as far as I know don't have a bar. A wonderful change of pace! Good for solos, couples, and those w alternative lifestyles.

My dude: Amazing community

Dominic Valdes: Positive:QualityAmazing space, atmosphere and community. I put off going here for years, but after a year and half of COVID lockdown it was time to shake off the stagnation. Exactly what I needed.

Omniversal Abundance Vortex: Awesome community and consent based dance

G G: Om Culture is an astoundingly beautiful space with unique workshop/class/event offerings. This studio has an awesome community vibe and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for something more than just a work out.

Nicole Merat: The Breath Medicine workshop held by Cosetta and Ivo was truly invoking. The ceremony itself was so beautifully guided, the space was GORGEOUS and spacious, and the community that revealed itself afterwards was incredibly kind, genuine, and welcoming. I feel like I was meant to be there last night. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Namaste

RJ: I have been attending various events, dances, and workshops at OmCulture for six months now. OmCulture continues to blow me away with the warmth and openness of the space itself, the staff that makes the magic happen, and the community they draw in.I am always able to find street parking within a minute's walk which is nice, and the events are nourishing for people of all ages. I always look forward to my next visit.

Claudia Cabral: • great, welcoming community• artists had beautiful music• beautiful, heartfelt ceremony• estatic dance was lots of fun!• overall, such a transformative experience ✨

Laura Kimball: Great location, these people are family.

Kenneth Telesco: Great vibe. Great people. Great events. Great offerings. Great decor. Great location. Great space.

Lauren Joy: OmCulture is the most safe, sacred beautiful space I've been to that's full of loving energy and high vibe people. It is home to an inspiring community of people who are truly warm, inviting, kind, strong, creative, wise, and divinely connected with one another. I love Om and all of the Omies so much!!!! - Joy Herrera 💜

Melinda Issakov: A fabulous fun space for a children’s party, we had a great time with all of the bean bags, swings, obstacle items and play equipment.

General Assembly Seattle: what do users think?

Marcel N: I've just taken intro classes in my spare time over a couple years. Love the business model that General Assembly has! The intro classes are very in depth for a short session. I just came from the cannabis panel they hosted and I'm shocked nobody took advantage of this profession event! When I finish my college degree, I'd very much like to take on the full classes at GA

Anastasia Tavare: free info sessions to get to know the curriculum and people there. I wasn't disappointed at all. Check out their info session or networking events, even if you don't think you need to attend the classes they offer. Honestly, anyone can get at least something out of any event the GA puts on. Get your learning on and check out an event!!!

Helen Ell Tran: They have free introduction to classes at night time and hosted the Google Sprint here. It was great.

Hot Stove Society: what do users think?

Amanda Sommerville: We attended a private event hosted at the Hot Stove society and had a wonderful time!Tom was there and was friendly and welcoming to every person. All of the chefs/teachers were enthusiastic and informative. The bartenders went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the whole time. The whole experience was fun, personalized, and interesting. I would absolutely recommend taking a class here / hosting a private event here for anyone!

Rick Vanover: Fun group outing.

L. Campos: Had a great first class with the Hot Stove Society. Everyone seemed to have a good time and learned some things along the way. This hands-on class was programmed for pairs to team up together. So, unless you want a complete stranger handling the food you eat, best to sign up with a relative or close friend. Perhaps not all classes are formatted this way. Look forward to taking more in the future.

Alexander Lavell: Great place for a team outing - fun staff, great food, excellent learning experience.

Teri Camus: We have been wanting to attend a recording of the Hot Stove Society for ever! We had such a good time being a part of the live audience.A wonderful breakfast, and an overall enjoyable way to spend your morning! We love listening to Tom and Thierry, so it was great to see them in person.

Ron “ronskidude”: The Fried Squid we ordered was "too fried" and salty. At first it tasted okay but I guess the salt settled at the bottom. Squid shouldn't really be too fried or else it becomes too chewy. They did remove the fried squid from our bill so that was good. The other things we ordered was pretty good and the ambiance was great. The server was really attentive at first but I guess she got busy.Price is fair, food matches the price except for our bad experience on the fried squid.Parking is plenty but paid.

Soulat Khan: The best team dinner experience. Julie and the HSS staff were incredible 🙏🏼

David De Long: These two chefs are fun to watch and listen to

April: Experienced a team building outing here and loved it! The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and adaptive to the needs and skill level of each group member. They have a wonderful thoughtful thing going here. Regardless of dietary needs, comfort level or background I believe there is something everyone can enjoy about an event here!

Siwen Tang: Had a team event here on a Friday night and it was a great experience! The staff at this workshop and the hotel were so friendly and welcoming! They coordinated so well and the class was really organized!

Ron Storkel: Everything was excellent. Very happy to visited.

Sabrina Englot: The place is nice, clean, organized, and the staff friendly. However it was incredibly boring for a social event and I think is meant to purely be a culinary education course rather than fun activity. The food we tried we good but the portions were small for the cost of course. Not much hands on cooking, hardly at all, which I think led to the lack of fun.

Eric Ringger: Delightful team building activity preparing an Italian meal with personal coaching from house chefs!

The Pantry: what do users think?

Kethnie Moreau: Amazing. Just amazingThank you Bruce. Definitely worth it. Would take another class if I was in town longer!Class is perfect for beginners and people who enjoy being in the kitchen all the time! They have rotating classes that focus on knife skills, brunch, dinner and others focused on locations like Italy France etc. the themes are beautiful. I took the step into spring class they focused on the beautiful local veggies of the area. Anyone can throw a steak on the grill but to make veggies sing is an art form! Learned so many techniques today. Chef Bruce is an amazing teacher and his team was amazing. Service from start to finish.Hand hygiene is high! So everyone felt comfortable. Very clean. Very comfortable space. Open for questions, jokes and learning. Would definitely take another class here at the pantry.

Skip Ferderber: This is one of Seattle's premier cooking schools. Afficionados know that when The Pantry posts its cooking class schedule on the Internet, bookings per class may be gone within the hour, Seriously! Tonight I attended my second class, a 3-hour hands on session on three different Thai noodle dishes. What a treat to cook and taste real Pad Thai that wasn't made with ketchup. Ugh.

Gina So: The classes are great for beginners. I would recommend looking up who's teaching the classes because some of them can be enjoyable or mediocre.

L Coffee: Loved the experience of a cooking class. I know the price point may not be accessible for everyone, but it is a great experience of learning and you have the opportunity to eat together and enjoy what you cooked at the end of the class. I went on my own and easily met the people around me. Everyone was very inclusive and accepting.I took their Fall Farmer's Market class and am excited to take another in the future. I loved learning how to use local foods that are in season to make some delicious well-round meals. you receive a copy of all the recipes as well. I later made the delicious soup as well as the pear deserts at home on my own.

Patricia Melnicki: On Saturday, May 13, my daughters and I hosted a Bridal Shower for my son’s Finacee’ at The Pantry. We made fabulous noodles and feasted on the amazing beef braise Sarah prepared. Everyone loved the experience. Welcoming, warm, professional and incredibly talented. We will definitely be back for additional classes!Thank you!Pat Melnicki

Dafna Bitton: The classes are always epic. Detroit style pizza was dank

Jamie C: I love doing things in the city besides only going out to eat and drink. This was a really fun cooking class. We are locals and enrolled in the salmon class. Figured that's a good first step for PNWers. The instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable about salmon and having lived in the area my whole life, we even learned new things and new parts you can eat!I have taken cooking classes in various areas and at various companies and they are all a little bit different. This one is more collaborative where you work on one large dish per course with most of the team and all eat together I have taken others were each small group of whoever you came with makes their own three courses. It kind of depends on your personal style and how busy and involved you like to be which one you would prefer. This class is pretty slow, paced and relaxing and you get to enjoy wine while you were cooking.Another major plus is that the company is really understanding with food, allergies or restrictions and is able to help you find a class that will work best for you. I really appreciate that with my recent gluten allergy discovery. I have experience, mixed empathy with businesses and would definitely prefer to know if my allergy is a major roadblock to enjoyment and if I would be wasting my money or not. Just be honest!Overall, they change their classes every month, and I definitely would attend again !

Connor D: . The hosts provide a really fun and educational environment and there's lots of natural connection with your fellow classmates, as well as plenty of opportunities to ask questions. You get a sense that you are really learning from the experts!A common sentiment of attendees

Lennart Wong: . It is quite a different experience than having dinner at a restaurant. The people serving you also were the chefs that made the food. So you can ask them about the food and how they made it. The food were so delicious! I think I am hooked!!!

James Mbattiah: Good services
