Blick Art Materials: what do users think?

Andrew Hoag: A fine store but finding specific things was tedious. Price on web a lot different than in store and the part of Seattle outside isn’t always the friendliest

p ptemn6: Staff is beautiful, but I am cranky sorry...love ya my back was bothering me but they ❤️art here, You have pizzazz! It was the end of the day. Patients of saints. THEY GOT ART and a cool bronze Jimi Hendrix❤️❤️❤️

Brandon Lee: Had a bunch of questions about all the graffiti supplies. Art Primo gal told me to watch YouTube 🤯. Walked over to blick and all my questions were answered.

Richard Williams: Wife said 4 out of 5 stars on today's visit only because they didn't have everything IN-STORE that she was looking for. Online- she can get whatever she wants with Blick. But the service was outstanding. One staff member didn't know where an item was located- so he got another staff member to assist.

Northwest Art & Frame: what do users think?

Liz Nason: Отличное место для подарков и открыток.

Loyd Watson: Great cards for all occasions and fun accessories.

DJ Lev: Many unique quality gifts and cards. Every visit to Seattle includes a stop here!

Jacqueline Casey: This place has a great selection of greeting cards and unique gifts.

Daniel Smith Fine Art Materials: what do users think?

Debra Beckman: Store front is closing. Will miss it.

Atari Betamax: This location is closing. 🤔 Apparently all the art has been squeezed out of Seattle? Where is vibrant scene I heard about? Did money and tech drive it away or did it just go underground? I prefer to believe Seattle haunted and no matter who lives here, eventually the city gets into their bones, into their brains and claims them. Then the art will return. Sadly Daniel Smith might not be here when all the new fish have been slowly assimilated into the weird euphoria if Seattle.I did pick up a drawing book and was on sale. Go check it out while you can! 😜🌈

Mike Williams: Great spot for art supplies. It's a shame to only have learned of the location as they're going out of business.

Kimisha Turner: Love this place.. gonna miss them when they are gone..

Elirosa dobrev: I love DS and am almost in tears they are closing. Many people use their paints and watercolor paper, printmaking papers etc. I use the printed handmade papers for projects related to greeting card making and other things. Daniel Smith has a wonderful relationship with the people who make these papers. They are a group of women whose husbands have either died or have left the family. This is the kind of work they do to earn income. When I've been in other art stores, they have not had the same ethics. I'm very sorry to lose a store that has such a wonderful Outlook on the world.I believe they have enough space to still have the store and expand their paint making business because the ceilings are so high in part of the store that there could still be space for both. I'm not sure why they're shutting the store down. The workers there have become almost like family. They are kind and knowledgeable and if they don't know something they will find out for you. This is truly one of the saddest results of this so-called pandemic .

Mike Kilmer: Best art store in the area.

Denise Wells: I love Daniel Smith great store fabulous art products!

Barb Koefod: I'm so happy to hear Daniel Smith Inc. has reopened! DSI has been artists' source of quality materials for decades. The company treats its customers and employees very well. An artists' lifeline for the best supplies.

Andy Mac: These guys have been around for a long time. They have art crafts for most any visual medium you want. Staff is always happy to help. Thanks guys

Oliferous McMayoFist: , their selection is absolutely astonishing! Do you need that’s sweet specialty high-end brush you’ve been looking for and want to test it out before you buy it? They do that! Everything from ink to oil, Watercolor to acrylic and everything else! And that’s not even getting to the staff, which are some of the most friendly, talented, and most importantly, knowledgeable artist I’ve encountered! Pre-Covid are used to go in every week to buy a new tube of paint and chat about new products or workshops that were coming up. I miss the store being open so bad! Cannot wait for you guys to be able to open again and will be there. Till then🖤

Annie's Art and Frame: what do users think?

Lei Ann Shiramizu: While looking for a thank you note with a fish motif, I scoured Annie's Art and Frame's vast selection of cards to no avail. I asked the associate working if she knew of any secret stash that I might've missed. She asked me to wait while she rummaged around the back and came out with the perfect card! Thank you for the kind and patient service. And of course, the cute card, too. PS I tried to upload a photo of the card, but Google kept rejecting it, so you'll just have to go to the store and see the selection for yourself.

Kearstin Williams: Our sales person did such a great job helping us find the perfect frame. When we liked the wood frame, they offered without prompting to see what other woods were similar but cheaper and were happy to pull 4/5 different wood frames, thicknesses, etc in addition to a ton of different color frames.Ultimately the cows look amazing and I feel like they helped us get to the perfect frame for them!Including this floating spacer so it’s flush but not right up against the canvas!

Amanda Duong Tran: I brought in an art print and frame hoping to get a custom mat cut and fitted. Their employee directed me to the scraps bin, which they offered at a lower price point compared to cutting a fresh mat. They patiently waited while I deliberated colors, and also offered to cut an additional mat to replace the too-thick backing on my frame. It wasn't busy, so after cutting everything, they even carefully assembled it all for me. The total was $8, and my piece was ready to hang! Top notch service.

Adam Poole: and the staff is always super helpful in creating a beautiful product that makes sense from a cost of project to cost of art perspective. They're not worried about upselling you - they're worried about your happiness with the outcome on all fronts.

Andy: Absolutely Amazing place with Extraordinary people working there. Stop by to see what's new, and you will be surprised.Thank you

Bird Designs & Writing: The staff were lovely, all the art was beautiful, and we were helped immediately. Great spot for quality framing.

Frank Ruiz: I took some art and some posters I wanted to have framed and they did a very good job. They helped me find the perfect match and fit for my art and helped make an informed decision. Prices are not the lowest but it also depends on what you are willing to spend, they have frames for almost every budget. Turnaround time was faster than they had originally scheduled

O T: Called before opening and the kind employees got me into the store 30 minutes early to pick them up because I was in a rush. Got these in France and needed em framed. Go here. Beautiful.

Ianthe Cytokine IV: Great place for gifts

Izzi Humes: awesome store full of cool art! candles pins and figures galore

Peter Beshai: Needed to get a mat custom cut to fit my frame and art piece and the folks here that helped me were friendly, helpful and fast! They guided me through picking a good mat for my piece. Once I chose, they quickly cut and mounted everything in the frame, wrapped it in paper and sent me on my way all in under 20 minutes. I'd definitely shop here again! Plus they have so many fun items to browse while you're there.

Alanna Matteson: They are the best!

Jen Harris: Visited there from Canada recently and wished I had got a few prints. Called down today with a vague description of what I was looking for , and the gentleman on the phone found it right away! Very helpful! tha k you! will visit again

Andrea Ryder: , and consulted on frames and backing for my artwork. Quality work and knowledgeable staff, highly recommend!

Four Corners Art & Frame: what do users think?

Leah Ashley: Train bound one sunny Saturday afternoon on some random adventure, I paused to admire art displayed in the window front of this establishment. The owner curator and operator, Allison, came out to encourage me inside and listened to what I liked and explained each piece’s provenance and special qualities to me. Once we learned we shared French as a common spoken language, she doubled back to explain in French. I didn’t have the money at the time to buy the piece I now own, but Allison interrupted my mournful protests to promise that it could be held through the weekend and til end of business in the following Monday. She has elegant sensibilities evidenced by the gallery’s carefully curated collection and I can’t believe I’ve lived near her shop for almost four years before discovering this very special spot. Highly recommend.

Tina K: Great selection of cards and art, and very friendly owner!

Dónal Kelly: with walls of pieces framed carefully and creatively - a great place to take special items, or to find something unique for a very reasonable price

Khoi Nguyen: would go well with the piece instead of yes-saying to whatever I choose. For a small shop, their turnaround time was pretty quick for the holiday season. And of course, the shops have all sorts of cards that would make nice gifts from Seattle.

Helen J Li: I walked in to buy a few things and left with 10 cards! I could not miss out on the amazing selection of cards and art they had. The owner Allison was so kind and patient while I looked around and was happy to chat about basically anything. Make sure to come here for one of a kind art collections and framing services you cannot find anywhere else. Thank you Allison! ❤️

Casey Cockerham: Personalized service, fair prices.

J.J. Westfall: Best frame shop ever! A great mix of original art, prints & fun cards. Over the years I’ve had dozens of things framed there, from cards in ready made frames to custom jobs. Allison is a skilled craftsperson who does am amazing job helping people with any type of project.

Lois Ko: All frames for my house and business comes from this tiny little shop. Allison the owner has pulled some vintage frames she had collected over time and refinished them for my neighboring business that are stunning and showstoppers. When I bring in artwork or pictures for my home, doesn't matter if it's a simple black frame or something totally quirky and out there, Allison can find the perfect frame and matt that makes the piece shine. There is no place in Seattle that can do the level of work that Allison can do. A true gem!

Lucy Bernard: Allison hands-down does the best framing work I have ever experienced. She has done so many unique things with pieces my family has brought her over the years and brings an incredible eye to everything she does. On top of that she’s fair and very reasonable considering the value you get for what you pay. The shop is also filled with all kinds of fun discoveries! Her shop is 175 miles away from me, but I haven’t found anyone better closer to me, and I’ve tried. You will not regret visiting the store and entrusting Allison with your art.

Florence Tiberius Baker-Gray: In America, you get what you pay for. At Four Corners, excellence is what is paid for and recieved.

Marianne Cavelti: I love this little gem of an art and frame shop. Allison framed a very delicate piece my Dad made in the 60's. I didn't realize how precarious the piece was, but Allison knew. Her eye is incredible, and the care she puts into each piece is evident in every detail. Pick-up a piece of local art while you're there! Affordable, high quality, perfect service, beautiful framing, they always exceeds my expectations.

Elspeth Savani: Allison has framed several original pieces for me and each one is unique, lovely and enhances the artist's work. She knows her craft inside and out. Just know that she's doing most of the work on her own and at times the shop will be closed if she has personal business to attend to. If the U District is out of your way, check in advance to make sure she'll be open.

Eliot Leathe: I was extremely impressed with the selection and variety of artwork available. Allison was extremely helpful in helping me find just the right birthday card for my mom. She was also happy to provide her expertise on local artists and help me navigate her store! The pricing was also very reasonable to me as well and I will definitely be a returning customer.

Toni Stinnett: Allison does an amazing job and is very helpful with deciding on a frame and mat. I also love all of the art that is available for purchase. This is image is art that I purchased and that she framed.

Natalie Weizenbaum: Four Corners has framed most of the art in our home. We keep coming back because they keep doing such a stellar job.

Michelle.H: Very fair, friendly, funny, knowledgeable business owner who knows her trade like the back of her hand. Highly recommended!

Madeline B Galbraith: framing and creative expertise many times over the past 10 years to embellish our permanent art collection at the School. She did an amazing floating frame on a 6 foot x 3 foot tapestry and she has framed a few original paintings from regional and nationally-known artists. She has a wide selection of frames, a lot of nice prints and cards as well as original artwork and jewelry for that special gift.

Fine Impressions Gallery: what do users think?

David G: Great source of a wide variety of art prints, and for custom irregular framing jobs this is the place to go. The framing process is easy and affordable, and the employees are super helpful. They are a small shop and tend to have a backlog though, so this might not be the best place for rush jobs.

Charlie Blackman: Great framing @ good price plus some really interesting Native incl. Cape Dorset prints

Shay Moore: Local framing for 30 years. They live here, they work here, and they know they're y business.

LJ: I've bought a ton of art here and Paula does all my framing. She's very talented, a joy to talk to, and has great taste.

Andrew Lee: Wonderful framing store. Paula was very welcoming and helpful. I was really impressed by the selection of prints and paintings available for purchase. The breadth of selections makes Fine Impressions a worthwhile visit. I didn’t end up buying anything but the turnaround time for adding wires to the back of a couple paintings was very quick and very reasonably priced. I will make them my preferred framing store and suggest you do as well.

Leslie Butterfield: Paula and Carol do ALL my artwork - from the most modern to the antique. They are so good at what they do and they really understand my tastes and preferences. I've probably come here about 20 times and I've been really happy with every single piece of work.

Heidi Rahn: The ladies who run the store are so knowledgeable and accommodating! You can tell they really love what they do. Make sure to call first, as it's by appointment, currently.

Theresa Ream: What a treasure trove! Expert framing assistance and a wide range of art to purchase. Some museums would be envious. And a variety of mediums to please any art lover's taste. Now I need to find more wall space!

Sarah Thomas: Great people, I have used them many times. They do an beautiful job and the shop is a treasure trove of interesting and unique art and prints.

N Kristine: These women are very creative and take a personal interest in your artwork. The framing is flawless and the advice is priceless. They also have some very nice artwork for sale!

Scott Moore: Great gallery. I always enjoy coming here. There’s always so much to see, with a great mix of local art. Always well curated.

Laurie McClure: A beautiful gallery that has lots of unique artwork.

Jaxcels: A really cool art gallery and shop! I was in Seattle for an event for several days and missed the shop while it was open but the kinetic sculpture in the front window really drew me to the place. Luckily I was able to drop by on the last day of my trip and got to see the sculpture in motion, truly a fascinating sight! If you're someone who is supernaturally inclined, this is a great place to drop by and check out!

Carolyn Buss: , house wares, enamel pins and patches, and lots more. This space is super welcoming, and Laurie the owner is as well.I'm glad I stopped here on my trip! You won't regret it either.

Mari Vel: Lori the owner was soooo absolutely welcoming to her beautiful shop! They celebrate individuality and diversity with their beautifully curated selection of handcrafted-artisanal treasures! I can't wait to come back!

Michael Shaver: Great little gallery tucked inside a Cupcake Royale with cool and unique jewelry and art.

Angela Renzetti: Beautiful, amazing local artists! Price ranges for all people I think - I love that they have a mix of visual art, candles, jewelry, wine and more. The art walks have been a favorite in the last year of mine. Highly recommend checking it out - it feels like such a fun, hidden nook behind Cupcake Royale!

Gavin Lees: What a cool find! Lots of art by local artists on display, with rotating exhibitions, and other crafty wares like candles. The aesthetic trends towards the darker side of things -- if that's your style, you'll find lots of temptations here!

Rosemary Dai Ross: Love this unique gallery! Always a great place for something special for yourself or loved one.

Emmariis Keyes (Riis): Hard to fimd but its in the back of cupcake royale

Northwest Tribal Art: what do users think?

Cedric Fredrickson: Beautiful

Victoria Isabella: Gorgeous shop: beautiful art pieces, incredible selection. Especially loved the literature section! What a treat.

Sandy McNaechten: Great place. Beautiful things.

Norma Martinez: It's a lovely store and the people who work there are just as lovely. The craftsmanship of the work is beautiful. We actually stopped in to store our bags using a service they provide. While traveling, you can leave your bags at the store. Very convenient if you're waiting to check in or waiting to leave a city. It is conveniently located around the corner of Pikes Place Public Market.

DAVID PRADO (HOLTDAVID): Excellent site with diverse articles and very good quality, the girl who assisted me was very friendly

Sal Scherzer: Beautiful store with magnificent Northwest Coast art. It's a must-see to simply look at the wonderful variety of artwork. I have gotten several things from here, such as a t-shirt with a killer whale and a book that informs the reader of this great culture and art style. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly gift, I highly recommend the art cards. They range from $16-$20 and have a great variety of styles and prints. They look great in an 8x10 frame!

Seattle Pottery Supply: what do users think?

rachael: Lots of cool supplies

Melissa Morrison: Great selection. Many clays to choose from. Lots of helpful staff. Glad I don't live to far from them!

shawn wood: Easy to use website, fast shipping. Over the years I have struggled to find a consistent supplier for materials. Most ceramic supply stores must be run by unorganized artists that are too "right-brained" to manage a business. Seattle Pottery Supply seems to be the exception. Every time I've ordered the orders have been shipped complete and promptly. I'm in Utah but Seattle Pottery Supply is now my go to supplier for clay pottery supplies and materials.

Sarah Burfoot: Единый магазин, оптовые скидки, онлайн-аккаунты для сохранения избранного и предпочтений. У них есть услуги по ремонту печей, обжигу и всевозможные другие ресурсы.

Casey Tompkins: Приветливые люди, компетентный персонал. Отличный выбор!
