Jon Lange: We love to watch Sounders games here. Plenty of room and tables. Lots of nice German beers to choose from, and even has choices for a non-meat eater. Good Veggie patty, Spatzel is yummy, and don't dismiss the carrot side dish! I know, carrots, but I'm telling you, they are done really nicely with Sumac bread crumbs and in a barigoule sauce- neither of which I've had before, but now glad I did!
Joshua Lozensky: If you like German food, bocce ball, and a large bar atmosphere, this place is for you.

Shawma: Really cool tavern-like atmosphere, delicious mussels and fries, and their expansive Belgian beer collection goes without saying.A great casual night out option with friendly staff.
Justin Lui: Solid bar food. Fries looked fantastic from afar. Beers are good and options are solid — even if I am not a drinker. We were here, as the Brits and HongKongers would say, for afternoon “tea” so we didn’t eat lunch or dinner but ordered the meatballs and pretzel.3 meatballs covered in melted cheese. Hearty and filling. The pretzel is good and comes with 2 dipping sauces: honey mustard and something else. Also pretty solid. For this one visit, I’ll give them a 5 star.
Matt R.: The fries are to die for.
John Swartos: One of the best Belgian beer bars in the US. Amazing number of beer on tap & in bottles along with wine and spirits. They’ve also got a top notch food program!Kid-friendliness: 21+ only. This is a bar, even though it has amazing food.
Tammy “Neilsnumber1” V: Visited from Canada.Wow, great place, the beer selection is outstandingThe staff were super knowledgeable about most of the beers.Food was great and the stoofvlees is most definitely hands down one of the best things I have ever had.Wish I could get their recipe.

Mari Vel: Their beer selection is vast, hefty beers to light. Convenient lication and can I just say that their music selection was ON POINT!
Kelsey Bean: I come here with my partner on Mondays for Seattle Reddit’s board game night. The bartender is the nicest guy and I feel terrible I don’t know his name. He’s always so friendly and quick to serve you. Also the food is delicious but I have one warning, the salmon dip is amazing but extremely filling, best if you have someone to share it with.
Ryan Jones: Drove by this place on the way to the hotel - loved the exterior and the sign that said 'BEER' hung outside. Always one way to catch my attention..Inside is an old church, which is super interesting from a history perspective. Food ranged from better than average pizzas, to unique sounding appetizers that ultimately fell a bit flat for us. Our meals were good when they were simple - anything that sounded a bit wild didn't live up to our expectations.Service was..mediocre. Bartender was fairly unhelpful discussing their large beer selection, and mildly impatient. Food came out staggered with some waiting a long time near the end.Overall though, cool atmosphere, great location and somewhere I would definitely stop by again in town.
chris corbin: Good pizza, good draft selection
Renèe: Atmosphere: 5/5
Carrie Graham: I recently visited The Pine Box after a Sounders game, and I must say, the staff there is absolutely amazing. Cynthia, Paul, Jake, and Alex are all fantastic employees, and the bar is lucky to have them. Despite the bustling crowd, the food arrived promptly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the elevated quality of the snack tray. The atmosphere, drinks and menu at The Pine Box are quite refined, which is unexpected for a pub. I highly recommend paying them a visit when you're in town. It's a definite 10 out of 10 experience!
Adam Woodworth: The atmosphere is undeniably cool. It's loud at times, but the vibe works. The building was originally Seattle's most famous funerary chapel
Fred Raputznik: . Food is first-rate pub-fare, and prices are decent. Only downside: service was friendly, and dress is casual; but I will always find it hard to warm up to a pissy bartender in a hoodie and baseball cap who can’t be bothered to look interested, grumbling and playing in his phone. The female server was delightful, though. I will definitely return.

Austin Kukay: My first time there was a great experience! The staff was friendly and the place was bustling! There were so many people. The food and beer was great too- definitely try out their smash burgers 🍔
Smriti B: Awesome beer collection, tried house lager and a wheat beer! Loved the fried chicken burger because it’s soft, fresh and not dry with an option to customize chicken in a sauce of your choice. Beer battered cheese curds were so filling! Would revisit to try more beers.Vegetarian options: There are clearly labeled vegetarian/vegan options.
Ben Levine: This is a classic experience for what is advertised. There's beer, there's a lot of open space, there's a good amount of wooden picnic tables which are sometimes awkward to get your legs into, there's screens to watch games on, there's flags draping from the rafters, and there's servers floating around fulfilling orders. It is a pretty large space and would support a big group of people if you have a lot of friends. They do take reservations, and the staff were friendly.

Limitless: They need more help. The place was quite busy on Sat yet there was only one cashier/server/food runner when we were there. She worked non stop. Husband ordered the cherry saison I think.
Ward Williams: One of the classic University of Washington bars, right in the heart of the Ave. The crowd skews more towards visitors and alumni vs students, but you'll see a range of folks. Great beer brewed on premises, beautiful wood-paneled bar with a brass foot rail, old school wooden tables and chairs, and decorated for the holidays. Large fries $10, pints $7. Old Wooly barley wine on tap for December 2023, 22 oz bottles of it for $15 make great gifts! The Atlas Amber, Coal Creek Porter, and the Old Wooly are all beers they've been brewing since at least the 80s or 90s, so try those classics of American microbrewing.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed!
Jackie O'Leary: I had such a fun time at this amazing brewery watching the Seahawks game with a friend and the owner! The beer was awesome-I had the Sour Smash and it was easily one of the best sour beers I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the cheeseburger, salad, and fries. Wonderful food, service, and vibe. The owner is incredibly kind and intentional about creating a warm and friendly Seattle community brewery. I will definitely be coming back!

Patrick Conlan: , great burger, good pretzel with Welsh rarebit. And super friendly staff.
Tom Elwood: This is not your ordinary pub. Beautiful tall ceilings, huge windows, and excellent cuisine. The "Bourrata" for $15 is what I consider to be a perfectly balanced dish - complementary flavors and textures in a pleasing presentation. The very fresh and gooey bourrata is drizzled with EVOO with flavorful basil, while the generous serving of prosciutto is thinly sliced and boldly flavored, with the crostini adding a perfect crunch. Everything in just the right proportion. Also had the Spanish shrimp, which had just the right amount of heat in the rich buttery sauce with chili flakes and paprika.
Dampier D: . They do have baby chairs, fyi!Service was great. It's all QR code
Benjamin Manne: Great little spot for elevated pub food right in the heart of Cap Hill. The drinks were excellent. We were a large party and ordered nearly every appetizer. All were stellar. The mains were mostly good aside from the fried chicken sandwich being inconsistent. My friend and I each ordered it. His was perfect. Mine was tough and stringy. Quinn's would do well to pay more attention to chicken selection. All in all though, a good experience and I'd certainly return.

Chad Remmers: Great little bar on a rainy day. Pliny on tap doesn't hurt!
Patrick Hudson: Bar next to laundromat is why I went, Chris the bartender is the reason I'm coming back.
Katiedid: Pretty cool place, but the pizza was pretty small for the price. And you have to go to the bar to order. The atmosphere was nice. There were some super well-behaved dogs there. There's not much for a diabetics there. But all in all it was a friendly place for younger people
Ken Garbutt: Great stout beer & pizza.
