Meg Rader: Our guides Matt & Catherine were absolutely fantastic! This tour was so much better then we hoped. The food was amazing, but the history and background that they shared with us about Pike Place left us feeling so excited to explore more on our own and with a much deeper appreciation of Seattle in general. If you only do one tour in Seattle, it has to be this one!

Angels on earth: Thank you Jill for providing me with professional services. I went to the Post office today to return some Amazon products, but the staff of the Post office asked me to find a place to print the Label. If I went to find a place to print, I would have closed the door when I came back. The post office staff are really old and need to retire, they are really unprofessional and probably too old to use computers, I was disappointed, so I thought of UPS and wanted to give it a try. Unexpectedly, Jill was really nice. She helped me print the Label and scan the QR code. Everything went smoothly. Thank you Jill for your professional services. I know you guys work under a lot of pressure, but you did such a great job under such pressure. Thank you so much.

It's a great location, people at the front desk are okay.The only reason I am offering 4 stars is because I really think the location can benefit from installing automatic sliding doors. I arrived numerous times with 3-4 large packages at the door and it's really difficult to operate the door and keep packages safe. What left me with an even more sour taste, is that the store was empty and all the associates just looked at me struggling opening the door, eventually the packages landed on the floor and no one bothered to give me a helping hand.

Cari Murray: How have I never sang my praises for Alair through a review?! I love Alair so much. It has been my happy place, my candle mecca and my gift-giving savior since the day it opened. You can always find something unique and silly, and the staff is helpful, funny and kind.Highly recommend following them on Instagram if you're not already -- and if you live far away, peruse their online shop asap! They offer curated gift services, which means they'll get as detailed and specific as you ask. I had them create a "happy divorce" package for one friend and a "happy 40th, you're still a college BFF to me!" for another one.Locals, you can also rent the space for private shopping parties during Christmas time -- it's the best way to shop with friends during a busy season!
Julia: Fabulous and unique gift shop in West Seattle! I love the selection of hand made/small batch gift cards, candles, soaps, shower steamers, and more. Warm staff make it an inviting and fun space.

They have something for everyone — and I mean EVERYONE. their goods are high quality, their staff are fantastic, and I love their punch card system for greeting cards. I can’t recommend Alair enough!!!

Peter Schulte: We needed gift wrapping. Shandon and friends made it happen even on the days they were closed.My wife dropped off the gift. She said it looks like a great little gift shop.The gift wrap was really special! They said that all donations for gift wrapping go to charity. We like that!
Mindy Jones: Just a gem of a local shop! Friendly and amazing staff, and equally amazing owner. Everyone remembers my son and what he likes and what he is into and they always have something in stock that he will love. They have great selection of stuff so you can pick up last minute gifts and a quirky card or you can just grab a treat for yourself. I have never made a purchase here that I didn't love. I'm a big fan of their cookbook selection in particular! It is my go-to source for pens too!

Kritika: It was so refreshing to see a store be so good for its purpose. Cici was an absolute delight, they were super knowledgeable in their domain and helped me find the perfect mattress at an unbeatable price. The stores policies on trial, warranty etc are practical and customer friendly.

Security got video of the guys face & gave it to the cops that showed up 🤯 I thought everything was legal now a days but these guys were on it! Dont recommend using the steps outside. Got a knife pulled on me there couple years ago & it hasn’t improved.You can still find an occasional deal that slips passed the merchandisers but it’s not like it used to be. Is anything Seattle?

T C (TCasey): Always great but they've gone a step above with cleanliness and samples. They place your samples in a small clear bag, obviously you can't eat it in the store. They also have a stict person limit as it's a small store. But the people who work there are the best great attitudes and love for what they sell and helping you find it.

J S: Always greets you with a smile. Lets you try one chocolate for free every time you come in. Expensive chocolates but quality meets the price.
