Cappy's Boxing Gym: what do users think?

Ronin Cunningham: Good equipment and nice vibe!

The meme marter /Face it im better: Love it I come here 4 times a week

Nicolas Anderson: Love love Cappy’s. Coaches Lynn and Margaret are super helpful! And Mia is the best gym dog in the state!!!!

Dubem Nzekwe: Great environment and even better staff. Best place to begin your boxing journey!

Jaime Freeman: I joined just looking for a good workout but found so much more. The coaches are approachable and knowledgeable, the gym is well maintained and has everything you could want. I also love the community minded approach and the ability to donate to the community fund to keep boxing available to everyone!

Iain Valentine: Still going strong after more than a decade. The community is fantastic, the coaching is great and the workout is killer!I started training at Cappy’s because I was curious about boxing and interested in cross training for my primary competitive activity. I quickly found that it challenged me and provided benefits that I had not expected. Boxing teaches functional movement patterns and muscle organization skills that has improved my foundation for all of my other activities. Plus, it’s just a whole lot of fun.Cappy’s is a great gym, with thoughtful coaches and and a welcoming community in which to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and get a solid workout.

Kadianne Pollioni: Can’t say enough good things about cappys! This is the most wonderful, inclusive, supportive community I’ve found in Seattle. I started here never having boxed before and before I knew it I felt right at home. The coaches are awesome, there is tons of community outreach and organization, the classes are well structured, and you’ll really feel met at whatever level you’re at. Cappy’s is the best thing that’s happened to me since moving to this city.

Manny Kuphal: Very encouraging and personable trainers, great for any skill level. It's also a great way to build confidence while getting a great workout at your own pace.

Danielle Gahl: Scrappy gym with a big heart and zero pretension. Open, welcoming environment with accommodations for different abilities, bodies, and experience.

Adam McGee: Фантастический, гостеприимный зал для боксеров всех возрастов и уровней подготовки. Если у вас есть возможность провести тренировку один на один, я настоятельно рекомендую тренера Линну!

Ranjan: отличный тренажерный зал и сообщество!

Robby Grodin:

Alison Stagner: Это мое счастливое место.

Vince L: Лучший боксерский зал в городе

Seattle Boxing Gym: what do users think?

Ken L: !

Terhi Vesterinen: SBG is by far the best gym I've ever trained at. I didn't know many people when I relocated to Seattle, and I was welcomed with open arms to this inclusive community. Since joining here I've made many of my closest friends and continue to enjoy the classes and 1:1 sessions with really kind and knowledgeable trainers. Emil, El, Joey, Jeremiah, Jackie and Simona are all skilled and thoughtful coaches who take the time to get to know new joiners, and push the more seasoned members to train a bit harder when appropriate. I would recommend SBG to anyone, no matter their skill level!

뚱이: exorcism

Sunil Khale: This place is a gem! It'll get you excited about boxing irrespective of your age or fitness objectives. Their team is awesome and will push you to your limits. Excellent opportunity to learn as a newbie. The professionals share the same gym, so you decide what you're ready for.

Brian Richards: Great place to work out and train. Staff our understanding and helpful to inexperienced boxers like myself but I also see them riding with the Big Dawgs. Everyone is super nice and it's a great place to come and learn the sport.

Alex Cooper: As an out of towner from a different gym, I had an super workout here. Highly recommend

Elliott Vogel: Great place to just use their equipment or a full on lesson! Ether way it is always fun to go to SBG!

Michael Mack: Great service really enjoyed going before the second shut down happened my son and I did one on one separate training. At first they didn’t seem enthusiastic about training a kid which turned me off a lil bit but after the first few weeks everything was great I still have 3 sessions left but no one can tell me if I can use them still since it’s been so long which sucks but otherwise a good boxing gym.

Prasanth Meiyappan: I love this place and the people.

Clayton Bruce: All I can say is this gym is the best! Very good people, clean and comfortable. They know their stuff! I recommend Seattle Boxing Gym to all, beginner to novice. They have what you need.Thank you all very much.

Mark: Excellent staff and class offerings. Love this place.

Mike W: I love the T/TH 6 AM class with Jon. Great to have instruction from a experienced heavyweight. I really like all the staff at the gym and the environment is welcoming and upbeat.

Arcaro Boxing: what do users think?

Jacob Weaver Weaver: Where to start...I have been part of this community since 2015 and could not speak more highly of Tricia Arcaro as well as her talented coaches. Most importantly, working with Tricia through her executive private coaching for the last 8 years has provided me with not just boxing experience, but an incredible set of tools personally and professionally. Tricia and her team have peeled back layers of mental and emotionion hurdles and have helped me level up as a leader in the real estate industry. I attribute a huge amount of my professional growth to the coaching, tools, and accountability provided by Tricia throughout the years. Bring Tricia Arcaro into your life as soon as possible if you want to become a better leader, professional, and human being.

Isaac Robancho: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great experience

Carl “Cid” Romero: , so I really appreciate the accommodation and understanding of my current physical limitations.

Brigid Staveley: and it is so much fun to say hi and pet them every time I come in. I have nothing bad to say about this place and highly recommend this gym for everything from sparring to light physical therapy. They have taught me so much about myself both physically and mentally. I truly love this gym. A bonus is that it is run by a woman! She is truly amazing.

Saree Han: Dope and inclusive environment to box at!

Peter Creed: A well-equipped boxing gym with basic services available at a very reasonable price, and additional options to meet the needs of just about anyone. Tricia deeply cares about the community and i've seen her go out of her way multiple times for people in need.

David Fischer: , and started out very out of shape! I wouldnt call myself in shape now, but my SO and I have definitely noticed a difference, and its thanks to the amazing team at Acaro :

Marc Chamness: .

Rachel Li: This was the last workout class I took before we started the stay-at-home order in March. It was a good workout. I miss it.

Ben Scott: From the first moment you step into this gym, you know it's a special place. The walls are decked from floor to ceiling with bits of boxing history: copies of Ring Magazine signed by golden age greats, memorabilia from coach Tricia's own championships and fights against legends like Holly Holm, and the belts and trophies earned by her stable of dedicated young boxers. It's much more than decor, though, the culture at Arcaro is different too. At my kickboxing gym, I was used to "hard work" meaning maximum reps, power, and speed, maximum calories expended. In boxing classes at Arcaro, there is just as much sweat and hard work, but the coaches help you direct that focus and intensity inward: using feedback from the mirror, the bag, and inner body intelligence to make adjustments and correct dysfunction. The emphasis on balance, structure, tension, self-awareness, and integrity makes each class a unique opportunity to learn and grow. The atmosphere reflects this: egos are left at the door, coaches project clearly without yelling, and everyone's progress is valued and celebrated. The music is good too, no aggressive EDM like so many gyms. Each class brings a mixture of jump rope, bag work, shadowboxing, footwork drills, and functional movement exercises, broken into 3 minute rounds with short breaks. After four months of near-daily training, every class is still a new experience, with fresh drills to try and more feedback to work on. This freshness really gives meaning to coach Tricia's concept of training intentionally, not habitually. It keeps you guessing as to what's coming next, pushing you to absorb new information while remaining locked into the moment. Once training becomes routinized, the mind starts to wander, but there's rarely a chance for that here. After a few classes, you'll quickly understand why people of all ages, body types, and athletic backgrounds keep coming back to this place. The quality of instruction is not just excellent, but clinical: medicine for the whole body, rooted in knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, correcting chronic, accumulated dysfunction.Tricia is deeply connected to her neighborhood and community, and is doing everything she can to support us and offer her services during this pandemic. In addition to complying fully with the governor's orders, she has also gone above and beyond to provide virtual lessons, private training, open gym rentals, and limited-capacity socially-distanced group classes, according to the guidance from the state. She has outfitted the gym with extra ventilation, mandatory hand sanitizer at the entrance, mask protocols, and extensive cleaning/sanitization of the gym/equipment. Everyone respects the COVID policies, and I always felt safe while training.Unfortunately gyms are shutting down totally once again, but I pray things will get better soon. I sincerely hope that everyone gets a chance to come train with Tricia, Ondrea, Matt, Cass, and the rest of the team. You will not regret a minute of it!

Molly McConnell: I've know the owner of Arcaro Boxing for many years and she and her staff are incredibly well schooled in both the art and science of boxing. This gym has a wonderful, safe, inclusive community and is welcoming to all types of people. They work with all levels, from beginners to professionals, and have the experience and understanding of the sport to make learning fun, challenging and rewarding. I highly recommend Tricia and her staff if you have always wanted to learn the sweet science, or if you wish to sharpen up your existing skill set!
