As you enter, it's candy drinks on your right followed by a wall of pick & mix style options from all over America & Europe, to the very back looked like some chocolates, to your left, unique and cute gift baskets for a number of occasions, and behind that the shop owner at the display and checkout counter, featuring in-house made truffles and fudge.I stuck to the pick&mix because for example there were candies from Italy & Canada I wanted to re-try, but also unique flavors I'd never imagined before such as "spicy Mango" which literally tasted like someone melted pepper and mixed it into the gummy. It's delicious if you're into interesting flavors. They had more traditional flavors as well like strawberry, grape, etc.The owner is polite and complimented my smile, so there's no way to add another star, because I can't but sure did help !

Rodrigo Rojas: There is street parking. If you’re staying downtown it is at a walkable distance. The place is big and plenty of space to sit. The staff was great and friendly. The hot cocoa was delicious. They’ve plenty of chocolate varieties from drinks, snacks, ice cream, etc. Overall if you’re visiting Seattle would recommend coming if you have a sweet tooth.

Traveling: I went to Seattle three days ago and just happened to walk by and enter Fran's Chocolates. I was greeted by Michelle and she gave me the whole background about the shop. Then Sarah told me about her favorite chocolates and the ones that I should get. Brianna checked me out and gave me activities to do and sights to see while i was in town. Mechelle Rosales: Beyond excellent customer service and the most exquisite chocolate I have ever tasted. I don’t normally leave reviews but I have to come to tell this story. Long story short, our beautifully boxed chocolates were unfortunately thrown away by mistake by our hotel staff. The chocolates were so good we wanted to repurchase the same order again because they were supposed to be gifts. Some of the same wonderful people were there the day before when we made the purchase and were surprised to see us again the next day. We told them about the unfortunate event and they replaced our exact order we were planning on repurchasing! All of it at no cost!

This visit we picked up a gift box and a few things for ourselves. Salted chocolate caramels, nice big chocolate sugar cookie with peanut butter inside, mmmm! They even have tap-to-pay with texted receipts for convenience.Easy parking in front or closeby, and right in the center of other good shops, including an espresso place, in case you need coffee with the Island Treats. Mari Kim: nestled inside.But the wonderful staff there, Brianna and Patrice, continue to troubleshoot with me when they realized I was really hoping there was an alternative. It's hard to accept a note when your heart is insistent that there is a yes...They decided to call around to see if perhaps some of the other stores still had the last egg despite notes that the company was out. Sure enough we found one the last remaining white egg at the University Village Fran’s. I called and left my credit card so that I could pick it up the next day. Without their willingness to persist with me I would not have found that solution.If you also have very special chocolate lovers I highly recommend the large egg. It's only comes once a year, even if it is spendy. I would so add: take a lesson from me and don't wait till the last week.I don't know if they have vegan chocolate options. I would hope they do but uncertain as of now.

Brenda J. Breaux: We love fudge and whenever we visited my hometown of Seattle, we would always stop by the Space Needle gift shop to get fudge to bring back home. But when we went 5 years ago or so. They stopped selling fudge there. In search of fudge, during a recent visit I discovered that the Armory at the Seattle Center included a store called Seattle Fudge. Joy! Happiness! I went and selected 6 different flavors - all delicious. They let you sample. I brought some back to my officemates who gobbled it up just like my family and I did with our stash. The store has a variety of other treats and ice creams. But I came for the fudge and was not disappointed. Guaranteed stop whenever I head to Seattle. They also deliver.
