Ahimsa Dog Training Seattle: what do users think?

Brittney G: Only our first class and it was so good. I feel very confident about training and being successful.Screen printing success!

Sean Baxter: My wife and I got a new puppy last year and we wanted to start socializing with other dogs right away to make sure he would be a confident adult. Our dog Pip is a cavapoo who will be about 10 pounds full grown and we were concerned about his safety if he played with larger breeds. We are so glad we found Ahimsa because not only do they have a small dog play group that’s perfect for Pip, but Wynona and the team do a great job of managing dog interactions and ensuring every dog is able to feel safe and confident! When we started doing puppy play groups, Pip was a complete wallflower and sat in our laps for the entire time. He gradually started to venture out but was still hesitant around other dogs. It was difficult for us to see other dogs quickly thrive while Pip didn’t have the confidence to play with others even after attending the group for a couple of months. Winona helped to coach us through this challenging time by pointing out the areas where he did grow, helping us to understand his behavioral cues and make Pip feel more secure, and putting him into manageable situations that helped to slowly build his confidence. After a few months of attending weekly classes, we saw a huge breakthrough where Pip played with another dog for the first time! Since then, things have only gotten better and he has only gotten more confident! The room for puppy play is broken up into several different sections which are totally secure and isolated. This allows the team to split up dogs with different levels of energy and make sure every dog is in a situation that’s appropriate for them. Dogs will get rotated between sections during the play session and the team will pair specific dogs together based on how they are interacting. There is a big variety of dogs that are in the play group with many different breeds and personalities. There are a lot of regulars in our group and it’s been good getting to know them and their dogs over time. It’s also great for the dogs who often become friends and look forward to seeing each other every week. There are also plenty of new dogs that join in and help to keep things fresh! In addition to the play groups, we also did the Puppy Elementary curriculum which helped Pip build upon his fundamentals and greatly improved his ability to walk on leash. We got practical exercises we can do outside of class and direct feedback from the trainer during class to make sure we were doing things the right way. We’ve taken a break from behavioral training to focus solely on interactions with other dogs, but look forward to joining a more advanced class in the future. We love Wynona, Erica, Crystal, and the rest of the team at Ahimsa and so does Pip! If you are looking to socialize your dog or do behavioral training, we highly recommend you try Ahimsa!

Jennifer Wee: We've been taking our puppy here for the puppy classes, playtime and day camp. As an ancient breed that is somewhat notorious, it was imperative that we worked early with socialization and setting him up for success, and it's one of the best things I could have done for my boy! Everything is well structured and thoughtful and ran by trainers that really know what they're doing and are passionate about it!If you have a young puppy, I don't think there's anything more valuable that you could possibly do than enroll them into the day camp and puppy classes. You're getting structured socialization with new puppies constantly which not only teaches them how to socialize better around dogs and people, but generalizes this skill as well!100%, I would HIGHLY recommend!

Daniel Hanson: Love this place. I brought my first pup here 16 years ago and just did another round with my new one. They are kind, accommodating and clear with their training techniques. I'll bring all my pups here!

David Johnson: First time puppy parents!. What a great way to bond with our puppy and learn a few skills to start him on the right track. Our puppy Kona loved it here and really enjoyed the puppy playtime built into each session.Really impressed with Wynona and how she spent time with each puppy and person in every class.Highly recommend!

Brittney Geleynse (The Witch Princess): Great pacing, simple straightforward instructions. Our puppy is doing so much better and we look forward to continuing to train.

Lori: Love the trainer's and the training style. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about dogs. They have updated their facilities since I was there last it looks very nice. The staff is still amazing.

Derek Rocco: At puppy Kindergarten, they're very accommodating of dogs of all behaviors! Our shy puppy has a very safe and low-pressure environment to socialize with other puppies, gets great excellent training onsite, and I feel much more capable of teaching our girl at home too! Feels like a must-have experience for all Seattle area puppies.

Miranda Espineli: Knowledgeable instructors who will work with you and answer any questions, and great to have a set aside time to work on training your dog.

Zoom Room Dog Training: what do users think?

Carla Benavides: I love this place. My dog has improved his confidence, and we are building a stronger bond. Thanks to the trainers of zoom room.

Diliara Akhmetkhanova: Good place if you are first time 🐕 parent , got a package of 5 playgroups , in my case every single time they start 5-7 minutes later , but always finish on exact time and don’t compensate minutes of waiting. It’s kinda awkward just to stand outside and wait for them to finalize let you in . They do good job with complimentary donuts for dogs . Also no good grassy area for pets to relief themselves

Paula Stokes: A wonderful facility to practice training with lovely staff!

Jenn S.: My dog reactive pup has really been enjoying the private agility training sessions. She feels safe there and does not have to worry about other dogs in the space while she is there. She has been able to learn at her own pace and is having a fabulous time.

Declan Richards: Zoom Room is a great spot to train your dogs! We have loved taking or pup!

M.K. Davis: All in all a pretty nice place. It's kept clean and the knowledgeable staff make you feel welcome.

Simeón Cogswell: Super professional and helpful. Their shy dog class REALLY helped our older pup who's anxious. We've just started the agility course training and it's fantastic.A+ highly recommend.

Suz X: Our favorite place to bring our 1 year old dog, Lia, for training! We've been doing group classes consistently for the past few months and there's been a noticeable improvement on Lia's neutrality around other dogs. Our dog is easily excitable and always wants to play, so the no-greeting rule and overall class structure has helped her learn when to calm down. You'll need to dedicate time at home to master the training exercises, but being able to practice in class with other dogs and people is invaluable. Instructors are great, we especially love classes with Annabelle!

Julie Calcavecchia: Fun, informative classes, homework handouts, friendly trainers, great retail section. They make it so easy!

University Canine Learning Academy: what do users think?

Jessie Quinn: UCLA Dogs and Linda are just absolutely phenomenal. Her approach is so valuable, science backed, and effective. She’s incredibly kind and has such a mastery of the material and has the right approach to use in any situation. Do you and your furry ones a favor and sign up for class and connect with Linda and UCLA. I’m extremely glad that I did.

Cheryl Kemery: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessLinda was fantastic! She shared her extensive dog training knowledge freely. She provided us with valuable interventions to better work with our two dogs.

Eric Woodward: Lynda is amazing!

Jill Kinison: as well as the pup. Having only been through Pre School so far

claudia kalotay: Linda is amazing!

S Weidenbach: Knowledgeable trainers and lots of cute pups!

Ryan Bamert: Went to puppy play time. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Learned proper puppy play etiquette. Lots of take home value.

Zach Bahill: trainer. We brought our 7 month old golden retriever here because she seemed to be getting crazier by the day. She threw my wife's back out from pulling on walks, was barking at her, jumping on visitors, etc. We learned so much from Linda in just the 6 classes, I wish I knew about her and UCLA dog training much earlier. With the things we learned in class, the pulling is better, she's a lot less crazy, and she's learning not to jump on people. After just a few times practicing her emergency recall technique, she is coming back immediately every time we use it. We will definitely be continuing here with the puppy middle school classes.

Head Up Dog Training: what do users think?

Ian Washburn: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueAdam is an awesome trainer. He helped me work on my rottweiler's leash reactivity. Recommend A+++++

Nneka Bolden: every week was awesome. He went above and beyond, writing up tips and recovering what we practiced via email, he helped me set goals with my dog and was such a great cheerleader and coach for myself and my dog. I was nervous initially because Adam recommended working with a prong collar and e-collar, but he constantly checked in with my comfort level, explaining the tools and how to use them safely and was clear that we used them to distract my dog and get her to focus, never to provoke fear in her. He also tailored all of our lessons to issues I was having with training and questions I had, while also having ideas and recommendations on how to get to the next level. With his help we got my dog off meds, she’s not reactive to our doorbell, has started crate training and is such a confident walker and listens to me. I had 8-week private lessons weekly at Volunteer Park. I’ve recommended them to several friends now and may reach out again for more help with crate training. One note is sometimes scheduling was a little unclear but Adam and Bo were always available to clear up any confusion I had.I am so happy I decided to train with Heads Up. They’re super educated and passionate about training. Thanks Adam and team!

Jennifer Brown: This is our boy Enzo resting up after a great training session with Adam Kremer. Adam helped us so much with how to undo behavior that we let Enzo get away with, like sitting on command when out in the city where there are numerous distractions, heeling while walking, and return from a sit. Adam was so very patient with our puppy who often has way too much energy and with us as we learned how to properly train Enzo. My only regret is that we didn’t start training sooner! If you are looking for someone who explains the way you learn best to train your pup, then look up Adam at Headup Dog Training.

Kristi van Doorn: At first I was hesitant about this organization. They didn't communicate well, cancelled once day of, and consistently showed up late for first few trainings. Then they hired a trainer named Adam. Adam was amazing with my puppy, bonded well with her the first day, and patiently guided us through the process of off leashing. He knows dog psychology, is very personable, shows up on time and is engaged throughout the lesson. He has pro tips that he shares freely. I highly recommend Adam as a dog trainer!

Leann Wagele: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueHead Up Dog Training was incredibly helpful in training our reactive dog. Because of their training and care for our dog, we are better equipped to walk our dog and deal with his behavior. They are very professional while also being very attentive and caring for our dog.

Rob Joel: Ana Maria and the Head Up team worked wonders with our two five-month old littermate pups. We opted for two weeks of Day Training, which provided the much needed, intensive training to establish good behaviors. Prior to working with Ana Maria, walking our pups around the block was complete chaos. We noticed changes everyday after starting Day Training and after two weeks, our pups walk together with few issues. Also, a personal training session was Included with each week of training which provided us an opportunity to work with Ana Maria and the pups, and more importantly ask questions about behavioral issues and receive the much needed advice from a professional. Thank you Ana Maria and the Head Up Team for providing us with the knowledge and tools to continue training our pups at home! We look forward to attending the Head Up group training when available in the future. Rob & Joel

Julia Pulst: Our pup Boomer just got back a few days ago after being with Jocelyn for 3 weeks of board and train. It was extremely hard dropping him off with a complete stranger but I was trusting her with him and she guaranteed me he would be a completely different dog at our first lesson, well she was right. Boomer is a completely different dog and we are so glad we did this for him. His biggest issue is separation/crate anxiety. She tried her best to fix that and although it isn’t 100% fixed it is a lot better and hopefully with time we will be able to fix it. You won’t be disappointed with Jocelyn or anyone at Head Up Dog Training!

Selina M.: We went to see Ana Maria after our american bully mix started showing reactivity to other dogs, to the point that we didn’t feel safe walking her with other dogs around. We started off with lessons, which went well, and eventually signed our dog up for the board and train for three weeks. Since we’ve gotten her back, we‘ve been able to walk her past other dogs—trained and untrained—without a reaction. We’re finally able to take her everywhere with us, using the skills we learned during training, and that has been worth everything. I would definitely recommend this service. You can’t argue with the amazing results.

Hannah Horton: I have a reactive pittie that I rescued over a year ago. Over that time her reactivity worsened making it very frustrating to take her anywhere or even just on a walk. Squirrels, birds, and especially dogs would throw her into a panic pulling on the leash until they were out of site. I finally decided to go the board and train route and Head Up helped my girl so much! After the three weeks I am confident to take her on walks knowing I have control. We are also able to visit pet stores which would have been out of the question before. They have set her up for success to continue learning and I love seeing improvements with every walk/activity we do.

Marion Granich: Adopted from a local rescue agency, our German Shorthaired pointer mix was a difficult to manage dog. At only a year and a half in age, we were the 5th owner of this young high energy dog. She had issues with basic obedience, incessant pulling, reactive behavior towards other dogs, and serious resource guarding issues just to name a few. We tried two different trainers over the course of a year with little to no improvement. At our wits’ end, we were put in touch with Head Up Dog Training. We opted for the board and train. The process required our participation as well. We were instructed on the techniques they used and they provided us with hands on training including field trips to public locations. The payoff was well worth the effort. In a mere 3 weeks our high energy bundle was transformed into a well behaved dog. Much easier to manage. We even strolled through our local street festival with no fuss, something we could not imagine would ever happen.

Anna Schwidder: My friend, Sylvia N., asked me to post this for her: We were at the end of our rope. For one year we tried to train our rescued dog, Carly, unsuccessfully. We took her on daily neighborhood walks, runs, tried Wonder Walker, Gentle Leader and puppy training class. She is a large dog, smart and strong. Carly is ‘friendly’ but would lunge at squirrels, bunnies, other dogs, bikes and runners. She would jump up on visitors to our house, neighbors and friendly strangers. “Head Up Dog Training” came highly recommended to us. We signed up Carly for the three week board and train. She did get to stay at trainer Lauren’s house and we did get daily photo and/or video updates. At the end of each week we would meet the trainer and Carly to go over her new skills. Lauren transformed our rambunctious puppy, high on energy and low on manners, into a manageable pup. This was accomplished by using first the prong collar, while training basic commands and then the prong and e-collar combination, while working on/ increasing distance, distraction and duration. We now can take Carly to shopping malls, inside stores and to farmers markets. She has reliable recall and we are SO HAPPY.

Julia Snyder: Very happy with 3 week board and train we did with my 1.5 yr old cattle dog / retriever mix. Jocelyn was great with my dog, and provided excellent guidance on how to keep the training up on our own. Such a relief to now have the skills and confidence to take my dog more places with the structure and support she needs to succeed. Thanks Head Up!

Mark Anderson: Very happy with Head Up Dog Training! We have an 11 month old Husky/Aussie, Harvey, who was getting to be too much to handle. Our trainer Danny with his experience training K-9 units was exactly what we needed. He's great with Harvey and helping us learn proper training techniques. After the 3 week board and train Harvey is like a new dog. He's attentive and very well behaved. Even his game of fetch has drastically improved! It was hard letting our pup go for 3 weeks, but it was well worth it!

Lene Jensen: We owe a lot of thanks to Ana Maria and her team of trainers. Shes helped us so much with our Molly, who was extremely leash reactive and handler agressive, and because of her help we are able to go on regular walks! She is so knowledgeable on all things dog and has given us so many helpful tips! Thanks guys!

Dog Trots: what do users think?

Tina Sciabica: . His time in her off-leash playgroups has also made it so pleasant to take him hiking, as he has great recall as a result of her reinforcing that habit while she's got him in her group. I highly recommend Dog Trots and Gloria's training services!

Debra Iveans: Our dog has been with Gloria since she was 7 months old and absolutely loves her "adventure days". All we have to do is say "Gloria" to her, and she perks up. Gloria does a great job of making sure the dogs she accepts into her pack will be a good fit with each other, sends pics or video of them having fun during their outing, and our pup always comes back happy and wagging her tail and tuckered out. As a bonus: as a trainer, Gloria also gives me advice sometimes of things to work on with our pup and how to go about doing it. We've also used Gloria for some private training sessions which were super helpful. Definitely highly recommend Glorias Dog Trots!

Andrew Gaines: We have absolutely loved working with Gloria over the years: dog training, boarding, off-leash adventures… it has all been great! Our dog loves her so much, and her guidance has been key to helping us understand his needs. Not only that, Gloria’s love for all of her pack really shows! The dogs obviously adore her, and she adores them!

Lidia Sanchez: .Our pup is now a part of the weekly dog pack and it’s the highlight of her week, so much so that she automatically goes into her kennel in anticipation for the Gloria pick up! :

Riki Bouffard: and comes home tired, happy, and well-socialized. It's clear Gloria loves dogs, and with the combination of training and adventures, Callie is blossoming into a confident and happy pup.Recently, Gloria stayed with Callie in our home for a week while we were away, and we were so impressed with the photo updates and amount of care Gloria showed both Callie and our house - she even stayed late to accommodate our delayed flight. We feel really lucky that we found Gloria, and we would gladly recommend Gloria's services to anyone with a dog.

Elaine Abiera: Highly recommend! I started working with Gloria on puppy training immediately after my 11 week old pup Moose came home and she has been a life saver. We scheduled subsequent sessions to integrate new commands and make sure Moose's training was on track. Moose is now part of Gloria's Off leash weekly adventures group and has continued to flourish. Thank you Gloria!

Kelly Boisvert: Gloria and her off leash adventures are such a blessing! My high energy pup always comes home happy and totally tuckered out. She gets picked up and dropped off, which makes it super easy. I love knowing that she is in good hands and having an absolute blast. Do yourself and your furry friend a favor and sign up for Dog Trots!

Mary DeNure: I am very pleased with Gloria's services. She is a very patient and caring person . My dog Mater loves his time at the dog park with Gloria. I highly recommend Gloria for training and her "adventures" at the dog park.

Silvija Staprans: Gloria is an amazing, effective, and loving dog trainer and walker! We’ve known her since our Weimaraner was a puppy. Gloria helped us tremendously with establishing healthy and fun habits with our headstrong canine. Lacey has now been with Gloria’s dog park “pack” for 3+ years. She LOVES Gloria and is always SO EXCITED to her. Lacey gets to run to her heart’s content on the off-leash outings. She gets super pampered on her boarding stays. Gloria also takes superb photos. She is THE BEST!

Shelby Perrault: We reached out to Gloria for private training lessons with our 18-month old English lab. After only 2 training sessions, we have seen a noticeable improvement with the behaviors we sought out help for. She is quickly able to identify the root cause of these behaviors and we are very thankful for her help! Our lab has just joined her outdoor adventures and we couldn’t be happier! We love the photos and videos during his time away and she gives a great debrief on his behavior during his time away. Thank you Gloria!

Wayne Barnett: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueGloria is a great trainer! More than anything, she really trained my wife and me to be the confident parents our new puppy needed us to be. After a couple sessions with Gloria, we are well on our way to having a social, happy, well-trained dog. The session at the dog park was the best! We couldn't recommend Gloria more highly!!

Denny Yap: Gloria is the best! We have used her dog walking and pet sitting services for a couple of years. She's been wonderful especially when we have had an emergency/short notice. Our dog was very anxious and scared of large dogs and now, with Gloria's gentle guidance, she can hang with the big dogs. You can tell our dog loves Gloria from the squeals of joy she makes when Gloria comes by.

Megan Keefe: We would gladly recommend Gloria's services to any of our friends and family!

Casey Rasmussen: I’ve known Gloria a few years, even long before I had a puppy. When sweet Cash came into our lives, I was told he was loud, small and lacked confidence. As he grew up, that lack of confidence even with early training started to become more problematic behavior- lunging toward people, getting really nervous with new people and forget it at my house, cujo! He’s the sweetest snuggly bud but other people freak him out. I knew I needed to do something before things worsened. I decided to do excursions with Gloria knowing she had such a great reputation and was apprehensive about the cost and commitment as 1/2 day day Care was a slight bit cheaper. What I wasn’t getting at camp was consistency, feedback or even tips on what was happening behind closed doors. Cash has become sooooo much less reactive and so comfortable with people I can’t speak highly about Gloria’s excursions, care and the PICTURES- holy cow she’s amazing at documenting what the little babes are up to. We have since done some one on one training, which helped me tremendously and Cash has even done boarding with her, apparently he’s human-like for overnights. 😊 I wouldn’t choose another person to care for my dog now. He loves his pack, his girlfriend, all the extra exercise and the consistency. I think her rates could actually be higher for the personalized care she provides and if I could send him 7 days a week I would! Can’t recommend her enough. And she’s super sweet and a really rad individual!

Jamie McMurdie: We love Gloria but more importantly, our pup LOVES Gloria!! We owe a lot to Gloria for helping us “rescue” our adopted dog. Our pup came with a lot of anxiety and distrust, we couldn’t even go for a walk without her cowering and trying to hide from other dogs. We met with Gloria for some personal training sessions and eventually was able to send our dog with Gloria on her day adventures to the dog park. She now goes daily and loves it!! Our dog is night and day different and we owe this all to Gloria. She is happy and much more confident. We also know that when we go on vacation and our dog gets to stay with Gloria, it’s a vacation for her too!! We never have to worry about her and Gloria is so great about sending pictures, videos and updates. We feel lucky to have found Dog Trots!!

Lindsey Johnson: Gloria’s love and care of our boy Obi has been invaluable to our family. She has provided excellent daily walks and overnight stays that have displayed her expertise, kindness, and joy for our sweet boy. We consider her a huge part in making our family happy and healthy. We look forward to Gloria’s updates and exceptional pictures, which she provides daily. Obi was recently injured and Gloria has gone above and beyond in providing him care and our family support, even going so far as to carry him in a sling to keep him connected to his friends. We can’t say enough how grateful our whole family is to have Gloria on our team!

karla R: Gloria was very direct and helpful with teaching us how to get our 10-month-old strong pulling puppy not to pull on walks. Also, she gave us specific and simple tricks on how to modify our dog’s unwanted behavior. Gloria is helpful, very knowledgeable, and great to work with.

Lauri Sickler Tock: Gloria came and picked up my dog a couple of days a week and brought her and the rest of the 'pack' to a dog park for romping and playing. It's easy to tell she really loves dogs and knows how to show them a good time! Reliable, friendly, and professional.

Tim Hunt: Gloria is top notch as both an expert dog resource and local small business worth supporting. She is patient with dogs and owners alike. Your dog comes home well exercised and well cared for... our family couldn’t recommend her more!!

Seattle Puppyworks: what do users think?

Emin Arakelov: Best place to take your puppy to help with socializing.

Gia Laynes: Best puppy school ever!

Todd Gage: are some of her favorite people in world. The only reason we're no longer going is that Tina became a bit of a "teenage" brat at home and we're afraid she would stop being polite to some of the smaller/younger puppies. We're thrilled to hear they are considering expanding to more space and services and can't wait to bring Tina back when there's a graduates space.

Josh Costanza: This place is so nice to our puppy. The staff remembers our dog's name coming and going. They tell us how she played, what other pups she gets along with and has always been super friendly.

Himanshu Singhvi: Great place for puppies

Emmy Dorchak: Best place for puppy socialization. I really trust the staff and they are really knowledgeable about behaviors and making sure that's it's a good learning experience for the puppy.

Nicholas Ryan: Amazing! Highly recommend to bring your puppy as soon as you can! Seattle puppyworks helped our little Boy come out of his shell. When we first visited Kronk was very shy and after a few visits we are a social butterfly. Thank you so much!

Brent Brinkley: A great place for you and your puppy to learn. My daughter has worked here for years and loves it. I recently went in and checked it out the puppies where learning to play together so cute

Richa Sinha: We took our puppy for his first puppies interaction. The people there are very helpful and my puppy enjoyed it really well. The first 30 minute session is free for a puppy. I will totally recommend this.

Maddi Frye: This is so great for my 11 week old shy puppy! Peak hours can be a little overwhelming in terms of staff to puppy ratio, but more than once I’ve seen a staff come over and address my shy puppy in the corner even with 10-15 puppies in the room. Quieter midday hours are great for easy going puppy play. She’s growing so much thanks to them!I’ll mention I’d pay to just sit in a room full of puppies, let alone watch my pup grow with extra supervision.

sawyer lincoln: I've been taking my German shepherd there since 12 weeks and the staff at puppyworks has done an amazing job! I cannot recommend this place enough for puppy socialization

Dog's Day Out: what do users think?

Eric Eye: I brought my super reactive dog here for a reactive dog class and I loved it! The trainer was amazing and adjusted to each different dog’s specific needs. The class was extremely helpful in understanding my dog and how to work with his limitations and strengths. I recommend them to other dog owners all the time.

Marc Prindle: Love this place. We got basic training here, and our dog has never had a bad day here in over six months, twice a week. Great job curating the dogs in each session to get a good mix of friendly beasts.

Theresa Perkins: Enrolled my reactive dog in a training class here - the instructor was very helpful and communicative. My only suggestion is that the reservation/class reminder system could be better.

Annie Pennino: Danette is amazing; she gives practical, science-based guidance. We went to her for reactive training. Highly recommend and grateful.

Laurel Kokaska: with both people and dogs. Danette has been patient and thoughtful throughout all of the lessons, and has always encouraged us to work at our dog's pace. With a reactive dog there is no "quick fix" so it's wonderful to find someone who you know will support you through the process

Mindy DeBenedetto: We can’t thank Danette enough for all she’s taught us! Our 4 year old dog graduated from Reactive Rehab in April 2021. We’ve always had difficulty walking her on leash, but especially when we moved to Seattle last year. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gotten to see family and friends that we haven’t seen in a year because of COVID. We’ve received multiple compliments on how much Nina has changed and also how patient and connected we are with Nina. Not only that, I’ve had TWO strangers stop me in the past week to compliment me on how Nina and I work together! One of my neighbors who I've never met rolled down her car window as Nina and I were coming back from our morning walk to say: "I know I don't know you, but I have to say what a great job you always do with her. I remember what she was like when you first moved in and she's come a long way!”We HIGHLY recommend Dog’s Day Out if you’re looking to make life more enjoyable for both you and your dog!

P. E. McKee: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability,ResponsivenessThis isn't just training your dog, it's also training you to train your dog. They show us how to use enthusiasm and generosity to motivate dogs to behave. Over the course of several weeks dogs of various breeds and backgrounds have shown remarkable improvement. Especially when their people have been doing the homework.

Holly Williams: We just completed a six-week reactive dog training course with Danette. I'm so glad we signed up! Danette is an incredible teacher for both dogs and their humans. My dog was always eager to go to class, and the improvements she made over the past month and a half surpass all our previous training efforts. We can't wait to go to drop-in days and future classes!I was hesitant to join any class during the COVID-19 pandemic, but social distancing, masks, and hand sanitizer were all handled so well during this outdoor course that I never felt at risk during our lessons. I only regret not taking this course even earlier and that I couldn't give Danette a hug on graduation day for the enormous improvement she's made in our lives!Thank you, Danette!- Holly, Will, and Ladybird

Chelsea Zarnowski: Great people and worked with us through training a puppy during Covid times. Puppy play class always wore our pup out and when she was old enough to do training the positive reinforcement instruction was great. It may have been Covid and the adjustments, but some of the class was a little awkward. There were some times I felt there was talking for too long where I couldn't pay attention and work with my crazy puppy. Overall I would recommend them and Danette is very responsive and helpful.

Megan: . The most important piece for us was really resetting our mindset of what are "fun" activities for Goose. We still have a long road ahead, but he's shown significant improvement since and we feel like we have all the right tools to get Goose to where he needs to be.

Lawrence Fosnick Davis: Fantastic training.

Great Dog Obedience School: what do users think?

Chelsea Stevenson: love Great Dog. The staff are so friendly and our dog is so excited when we get there. Recommend daycare and training.

Kirk Gomez: If I could give more stars I would 10 times over! I brought my sister's pit bull that had some aggressive behavior that forced us to decide if we could keep the dog or not. We've tried other trainers with little to no success or change in behavior until we brought him to see Judy. She was extremely knowledgeable. Her calm demeaner and calculated observation was evident right away and we just knew we were in expert hands. Within the first session we saw a complete turnaround in behavior. I believe she saved our dog's life because we were desperate and the risk was too great to keep him. Since then our puppy has been way more manageable, calmer, and confident. We can walk him without having our arm yanked out of the socket. Judy is a miracle worker. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Lois Mustonen: Wonderful staff who love your dog

Robin Booth: Love this place , We held a dog adoption event there !

Matt Shepard: I have taken multiple dogs here and can't recommend them enough. The staff is supportive and knows what they are doing. My dog buddy was very reactive, and they helped us get him to a much better state and prepared us to help him succeed. We also currently have a puppy in classes and she is learning her manners.

Carolyn Billings: Great Dog is a special place. The staff is wonderful. They’re dog lovers with the skills and knowledge to make sure the dogs are safe, happy and tired. We use almost all of their services with confidence. Judy has created a great environment and we’re grateful that we can rely on her expertise.

Camilo Gómez: Puppy classes with Emily are great! Our puppy loves them and it's a good way to give her good exercise while learning about training

Ross Noll: Great caring staff

Natanya Auerbach: We've been bringing our dog to Great Dog for a couple years for regular daycare and boarding, and our dog is happy and well cared for while she's there!

Shannon Kelleher: Such a great place. My dog pulls me in there and is reluctant to leave. The staff is friendly and really care about the health, safety and personalities of their clients.
