The New York Xchange: what do users think?

Ray: Very polite well-mannered friendly with animals very positive I give it a 6 star 2 thumbs up for sure when it comes to customer service Quality Service absolutely Quality Service 100%!!!!

Phoenix Olver: Amazing clothes and great staff

Kendra Rocha: This is hands down the best place in Seattle for alternative and goth clothing. The selection is great, and they've expanding upstairs to the Cramp and the little shop in the corner upstairs that has some fun festival wear, and niche outfits. I will say it's a little cramped in the stores as far as space goes because they have SO MANY clothes, but I'd prefer that over not a big enough selection. The employees are great and will help you find any fit that you're looking for. They really have everything, clothing, home goods/decorations, accessories, shoes. If you're alternative/punk/grunge/goth in Seattle, this is the store for you!

Ellamina Ehrheart: I GOT A ALIEN BACKPACK THIS IS SO CUTE AND THE PEOPLE THERE WERE REALLY SWEET!! :D

Angela Clark: A nice store to get a variety of clothing and accessories. Awesome selection of shoes in a good size range and even some themed items that could be found for costume events.

Mickael Lee: Wide selection and friendly staff

kelsey accetta: Wicked cute little shop! Worth checking out once and a while

Jenée: Got a new outfit from New York Xchange! This is my new favorite store! They have a wide selection of goth clothes!

Czech Injun: This place is really cool. Part of an Alernative Clothing trifecta. Try to get there early enough to visit the other two tendrils. Lots of Killstar type stuff. Everyone is attractuve and friendly

Frederick: Lose some weight Heisenberg

Gargoyles Statuary: what do users think?

Dessie DiMino: Very fun little shop, great place to find presents for your friends if they're into witchy things, dragons, cats, medieval things, pagan things, etc or if you need cards or fun clothes

Jennna Q: Love this place! We’ve been going since 1997. Always something new. We never get tired of it and the customer wis top notch

Nirvana Enyo: Love the kooky vibe wednesday would love it here

Kira Benson: Amazing witchy goth decor shop! Unique selections of local art and goods. I really appreciate that they still require masks and are good about covid safety!

Quinton Kidd: Super cool and unique. Lots of awesome decor

Todd Laffoon: Whether I am shopping in store or online, I always receive outstanding customer service!

Kristin Boomgaarn: One of the coolest places I visited in Seattle. I will definitely stop in again when I return. I purchased two shirts. Incense, stickers, and a fantastic gargoyle wall hanging. The lady there was so friendly and helpful. She even shared some of her own rowan with me when she heard I needed some. I love this shop!

Laura Cameron: This little slice of dark heaven is a great place to find all things witchy and wonderful. A labyrinthine space filled with local art, statuary, candles, jewelry and incense, stop in to shop for a unique gift, get your fortune read...or adopt a gargoyle. A 30-year-strong mainstay on the Ave.

Edith Ngundi: The people there are so nice. Accepts international cards.

A. Goo: This store is always a must visit. It's got unique local art, hosts art shows, and has wonderful Gargoyles for indoor or outdoor. You are certain to leave with some treasures!

Skinthinner: Love this place. I buy from them and visit often. My favorite purchase was a baphomet statue.

Edge of the Circle Books: what do users think?

Daniel Crandall: Great selection of witchery and occult books and Tarot decks, and a nice supply of materia. My new go-to for the right kind of candles.

Jess Davis: I stop by here on occasion to look for their varied selection of incense and oils, and the staff is incredibly kind and friendly every time. There is one man with long gray hair who occasionally works the cashier who's always a joy to talk to whenever I come in. I remember coming in wearing a NiGHTS Into Dreams shirt once and he was fascinated by it and asked who the character on it was. I'm going to miss this place when I leave.

Amanda Carson: This is such a cool store! Everyone was friendly and there was a large selection of books and tarot cards 💕

Stacy Walsh: Awesome Store! Lots of jewelry for the holidays! Robert always has a large selection of books, jewelry, pottery and more. Need Tarot cards he's your one stop shop💓

Andrew Schepers: Wonderful metaphysical shop. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and generous with recommendations. The tarot deck selection may be the largest in the Seattle area, it's impressive. Magickal objects of all kinds are very fairly priced. If you aren't sure what you need on your journey, they'll work to help you find it.

shenna furrey: This is great shop. Got a 30 minute reading that was spot on in every way. Lots of variety in the shop. Left with some awesome goodies. Highly recommend stopping in.

Izzy: The guy running things is super friendly and knowledgeable.

Oliver B: lovely energy, even lovelier people, and good prices to boot

Laura Hill: I love this store. It's small but inviting, and there's always something cool there. A good selection of books, some basics and some more specialized, but I'm never disappointed when I come here.

Kelly Gregor: The owner of this store is very knowledgeable about the occult and the like. He had an answer and book recommendation for every question I had. The store is smaller than I expected but the knowledge within makes up for this!

Loreli Cheney: This store is so cool and Robert is easy to talk to he is very kind.

Snow Johnson: I love the vibe in the store. They're really nice and friendly

Tawnya Keen: Beautiful experience.....Robert is very friendly and willing to answer many silly questions.... I'm full of them.Teresa is a wonderful blessed being.....I cannot thank her enough for her generosity and selflessness.I love this Place!!!!!!!!

Susan Cossio Trujillo: Amazing store and the employee was very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have card readings which were fun and helpful! Definitely recommend checking out this store!

Slick Rick: This little shop is a gem. 10/10

The Mercury @ MachineWerks: what do users think?

LaVon Longtin: One of the longest standing goth clubs in the country. Members only keeps things exclusive. Been many years, but some of my fondest memories were made here.

Kendra Rocha: This is a private club for members, and their guests only, so in order to get in you need to know a member, or be a member. There are strict rules upon entering which I am grateful for because it's one of the best places to drink and dance unaffected by sloppy drunks and messy dance floors. The dress code is simple, the drinks are STRONG and cheap so be careful. The people and the vibe is super weird which is wonderful! My only complaint is that the music is generally Darkwave, or industrial, and not metal. Which is funny, because this club comes up first when you search for "metal clubs Seattle".Overall great vibes, people, and drinks, but not the music I'm into.

Helena K R: you’ll get in no problem.Everyone working here is a volunteer!Parking: Parking is really difficult in Capitol Hill. I recommend taking transit.

Carson: Atmosphere: 5/5

timmy miracle: I'm from out of town so I only stopped by once but they were very helpful. I'll definitely drop in again next time I'm in town.

Mikequius Rodriguez: Going there on one of my days off in Seattle is always a highlight. To start always going to the farmers market and walking around and then ended like going to this nice place to get a good comic book or a graphic novel.

Samantha Ikola: I get all my comics from here and they have a lot of memorabilia. If they don't have it ask them and they will do as much as they can to find it

Corey Atherton: Amazing store. Had the 2 graphic novels I was looking for. I could have stayed there looking for hours!

BEE S.: Cleanly and iconic! This store has a bunch of nice collectibles and books! Definitely a staple of Pikes Place!

Purnank Jain: A heaven for comic books, anime and board game fans!

Nordstrom Rack: what do users think?

Herberth Osorio: After experiencing the space needle, we stopped by Nordstrom Rack, which is right at the Monorail station, and they had a good selection of items on sale. A couple of floors to look for a bargain.

Sam Wolk: Best book store in Seattle maybe

Jefferson Petrey: One of the last great used book stores in Seattle. Vast selection of fiction in every genre, as well as an extensive philosophy and theory section. Trade paperbacks and graphic novels, sci-fi and fantasy isle, and rare and out of print books behind the front counter. They are regularly buying used collections, so what happens to be on hand at any given time changes from week to week.
