Seattle Farm: what do users think?

xana land: So fun!

Ana Pozo: A beautiful farm indeed-- I would have never guessed that there was such a huge farm in Seattle. My family and I went for the Pumpkin Harvest and it was a good time. The owners are the sweetest people and I cant wait to go back again! definitely check it out.

Mike Baldwin: Close to the light rail, beautiful farm

Mitch Battison: The annual Pumpkin Harvest in October is a must visit! We loved the pony rides and being able to pick out our own pumpkin from the field. Will be returning next year!

Michael: Had a great time at their pumpkin patch party. The food and music was GREAT! It was really nice to find a working farm located inside of the city was refreshing and something you don't see anymore... I'm glad it is here!

Richard Doyle: The runs the farm were all very pleasant amd glad to share information.

Jackson Evans: I have been too multiple events at Seattle Farm and they all have run perfectly. The staff of professional and experienced and the space is beautiful. MP

Will Krause: Army is the best! We had a 300 person corporate bonding event and it was awesome.

Cougar Mountain Stables: what do users think?

Sasha B: My daughter has thrived in Rebecca's horsemanship program for nearly five years. Rebecca fosters a holistic environment where students learn everything from horse care and body language to essential veterinary skills. My daughter, once a complete novice, can now confidently handle and care for horses. Rebecca cultivates independent riders who understand and connect with these animals on a deep level. The program prioritizes safety, personalized instruction, and a supportive community. We're grateful for Rebecca's dedication and highly recommend her program.

Nathalie Henry Riche: This is a small barn with top notch training. After riding at 4 barns, including much fancier ones, I truly think this is the one you want. Lessons are structured with skills both in horse care and riding. Instructors know what they talked about. It is clear what the student needs to work on to move on to their next level. Solid foundations, excellent progress. Great safe horses for all levels. Cannot find better on the east side IMO.

Helena Heffel: I LOVE this family run stables. The horses are really well cared for with loving hands. Rebecca has decades of experience in health, behavior and a winning attitude.

Vishnu Priya: We had a birthday party and it went well. Rebecca and her team were every helpful and friendly. Just want to clarify that horse ride happens in the shed area. I hope this helps others when they book the party.

X 0: Myself and my family have known Rebecca and Ryan for years. Boarded horses and most recently had my daughters 7th Birthday party there. It was fantastic! Both Rebecca and Ryan take wonderful care of their animals and the property. You can see the passion Rebecca has for her horses. They both do a incredible job. Thanks so much for such a great time!

Alyssa Johnson: I was at a few different riding facilities before I was introduced to CMS and The Red Barn by a friend in school. CMS is by far the best stable I have been to. Everyone there is so nice and it is such a welcoming environment. I love not only being able to work with the horses but seeing the work that the staff put in to rehabilitate all of the rescues that come in!

Rob Allison: Amazing place to learn how to ride and care for horses. Great family atmosphere.

Naomi: it is a great place the people and horses are so sweet and it is so great I even volunteered in the summer and that too was great

Jennifer O'Meara: We attended a birthday party for a 5-year-old at Cougar Mountain Stables. It was such a great alternative to the typical parties at places like Pump It Up. They had a small bouncy castle for the kids to play in at the beginning. Then the staff did a great job of introducing the children to the horses, first having them brush them, then building up to riding them. In particular, the staff were wonderful with my very timid 5-year-old daughter. She was afraid to ride the horses, but the staff were incredibly supportive and encouraging and she ended up riding a horse for the first time.

Elisabeth Olin: I have been riding horses and volunteering at CMS for almost 4 years. I love being around the horses and being able to help the rescues trust people again. Being able to go to see the horses whenever I need is really great! CMS has made me a lot happier(:

Overlake Farm: what do users think?

Amelia: Where a horse can be a horse!I found Overlake before I found my horse. For a horse to live in a herd on 30 acres within minutes of a major city is unheard of.There are pasture and paddock options as well and sometimes it’s necessary to utilize them too.I came to Overlake as a new horse owner, and the community here is incredibly helpful and kind. People share their knowledge and help each other out.My nieces & nephews participated in the summer camp and it changed their lives. They developed an appreciation for nature, horses, and farm life that they will carry throughout their lives. There are various riding styles and disciplines and no pressure to conform to any one in particular. There is access to excellent trainers, farriers, and vets. The commonality among boarders is that everyone cares about the well- being of the horses above all.

M Sullivan: This place is horse heaven! They live in a herd like they were designed to do. But if you need special care there is space for that too. And across the street 200+ acres of clean, well groomed trails - a slice of heaven for riders too. Love this place

Jeanne Strand: Unfortunately, I was only at Overlake Farms in Bellevue for 8 months before our planned move to Arizona full time in August 2022. I wish I had been there longer. OLF was the right home for me and my horse Blu. He loved his big open stall and paddock and his turn out in lush pastures. The Farm has a really nice riding track, outdoor arena and round pen and is literally right across the street from Bridle trails state park—so easy to attend shows or clinics! While there is no covered arena for rainy winter days, I can say with all honesty that I never missed a day of planned riding due to rain. The park has tall trees which protect from the rain but still are wide open and bright.Dana and her crew take amazing care of all the horses. They have a huge herd that has 30+ acres to meander in and are fed on a track to make sure everyone has a place to eat and not be bothered. Having said that, horses will be horses and do hurt themselves from time to time. Dana keeps sufficient stall/paddocks available to use if a horse needs to come out of the herd for any reason. A young horse had torn the skin back on her knee requiring stitches. She broke her stitches open and Dana made extraordinary efforts to help with the care and treatment of the horse including installing a tether system in a stall. In the 3 barns I have been at, I have never seen an owner so personally involved and conscientious of a horses’ well being. For the non-herd horses, turn out is all day for long hours not just a couple hours. Any reasonable request was met and accommodated. This is not a “show” barn although there are show horses there. Boarders are knowledgeable and friendly and happy to join on a trail ride. There are a number of quality trainers available and with 50+ horses on the farm, all the vets and farriers go there. Dana even built a new covered, flat area for vets and/or farriers to work out of the elements. No this is not the fanciest place but it was honest, warm, caring and welcoming and not only felt like, but was Home for Blu and I.While we are loving and adjusting to our home in the sun, we will forever miss and be fond of our friends and time at Overlake. 100% recommend Overlake as a great place to board.

Jessica Qiu: Incredible property with access to Bridle Trails State Park. I've been boarding here since Oct 2021. My horse lives in the 30 acre pasture in the herd and he is really living his best life. Owners and staff are so attentive and knowledgeable. The location definitely can't be beat either!

Risa Bruner: and the owners are extremely accommodating. My guy can be a bit difficult at times, but the owners have gone above and beyond to work with us and meet our needs. The social environment is also very pleasant, as the other boarders are very supportive of each other—and always up for a group trail ride! We were very lucky to find this place, and I highly recommend them to anybody in the Seattle area!

Wendy Cavender: Overlake Farms is all about customer serviceHorses thrive in their loving care.

Alison Patton: I've boarded my two horses there for the last 4 years and love the friendly atmosphere and they are always willing to accommodate the needs doe your horse of say they get injured. Us tons of boarding options from stalls, paddocks, dry lots and being in the herd.

Lisabeth Sterling: A happy home for horses... across the street from 500 acres of forest with well maintained trails.

Lauryn Christean: Wonderful people. Wonderful place.

Aleron Training Stables: what do users think?

Simone Santos: I love this place the horses are well treated and the trainers are do nice i give it a 5 dtar

Robby M. Justice: They need all the business they can get ?

Jesus H: Aleron stables is owned by a very well known Trainor and rider in the equestrian world. She alongside her clients travel extensively over the country to compete in the hunters and jumpers. This is not a barn I would recommend to newbies or people that can't afford a horse. Aleron services a specific demographic and does it quite well.If your goal is compete professionally and have the means to do so, this is the place for you.The caretakers of the horses know what they are doing, most having years of horse experience under their belts. Say hi to them!

sk8cartel montes: Equine jumper training stables for the young ones.and Adults. Visit with an appointment with the stables owners. Have a great ride. Folks

Warren-David Thorp: Great place

Jeni Jo Photography: Gorgeous facility & the trainers are incredibly nice and welcoming!

Lisa Mar: EVERYONE at Aleron is so incredibly kind it’s almost unbelievable. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by not only the owners and instructors, but also by the other riders and the grooms. It really feels like a family. I love how personalized and goal-oriented the program is and how much they care about the well-being of the horses. Their coaching is on point - they’re patient, specific, and always challenge each rider just the right amount. They know exactly what each rider needs to work on, and they design courses and lesson plans accordingly. I moved to the area less than a year ago after not riding for years, and my riding continues to improve significantly every month. They’ve never pressured me to buy a horse just to earn a commission. In fact, they’ve done the exact opposite- they’ve gone above and beyond to help me find a perfect match, even when that’s meant extra work or time. They truly care about helping their riders grow and have both the riders’ and horses’ best interests at heart. I’m so glad I found Aleron!

Dana McAlexander: I have had the pleasure of riding at Aleron for almost 2 years now and couldn't be happier with my decision to join the barn.Over the time, I was able to advance in my riding and grow amazing frienships with the staff and fellow riders. I could not have been more impressed with the lesson horses I had the pleasure of riding and the training provided were beyond excellent. After a year riding with them, I had the help of the owner and trainer in helping me find the perfect horse to purchase and love how much the horse and I have grown together over the past 9 months.Thank you Aleron family for all your support!

Siddharth Singh: Nice place, lots of talent. 55 horses.

Mone Farms and Training Center: what do users think?

Sydney Stillman: Mone Farms was a large and important part of my childhood and teenage years. Sadly I'll most likely be moving for college but would greatly recommend Danielle to anyone who wants a future in horses. Don't be scared off by harsher reviews, Danielle is a quick talker on the phone but is genuinely one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I was definitely the kid that'd cry being away from her parents and was scared of my own shadow and there was definitely times Danielle pushed me but I couldn't be more grateful for not only the opportunities to enhance my work ethic but also my knowledge on all breeds of horses. Danielle is the trainer for you If you or your child are genuinely interested in learning about horses, not a sugar coated version. I'd been riding for a year previously from Danielle and never left being lead. I was walk, trot, canter before my two month mark with Danielle. Danielle makes better riders and harder workers and I give her a huge piece of credit as to why Im able to compete in equine fields for college!

Dan Weeks: It was horse camp. The kids all had a great time. Training, riding, and water time. Everyone learns the basics and they always come back for trail rides.

Miranda Newcombe: Wonderful guide, sweet horses, beautiful scenery. Wonderfully relaxing and so fun!!!

Christa Robinson: My best friend and I had a really fun trail ride today. The trail guide was so sweet and fun to be around. We will come back. Thank you!

Candi Lau: My two cousins had a great time on the trial ride! Staff are very nice ! Definitely recommend this place!

joe Alexander: This place is Amazing. And they Hace beautiful horses. 🐎 🐴

Tacos Maria: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI love this place my boyfriend, we had a wonderful 2 hour trail ride through the forest. The horses were gentle and our guide was wonderful. We had a great time, the horses were in good shape and we will be doing this again. Thank you for taking the time to accommodate us after having to reschedule twice on you.

peyton _Playz: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI had such a fun time. Even with covid they still made everyday of camp awesome. Daniele kept kids going even when they were scared. I made many friends that I hope to see in the future

Steven Michael Ahrnkiel: Rocco. After spending everything on vet visit, his pneumonia persisted. As I reached out to social media outlets, Danielle was our saving grace. Gave us the ability to fight on. 4 vet visits and 4 rounds with antibiotics, other than one cousin, this completely unknown stranger Danielle was our only partner in this fight for my boys life. Thank you Danielle Miller-Breckenridge

Makayla Butori-Sims: I originally got told about Moné by a customer at my workplace. I have always loved horses and grew up around them back home. After my horse got put down last October I haven’t been able to bring myself to go around them. I built up the courage and went out to see Danielle and schedule a trail ride initially. She was super sweet and understanding with how I was feeling. I was super overwhelmed because I just opened a new wound after my horse was put down. But the healing process has been amazing. I’m volunteering here 2 times a week and I couldn’t be more happy. Danielle is so helpful and makes me feel at home. The horses are all well cared for, and I’ve even made a bond with the horse below, penny. She was my trail ride horse. The white horse is Elegance. I worked with him today, and we had so much fun. It warms my heart that Danielle trusts me working with her horses so early on. If you are looking for a place to feel welcome and be able to feel yourself. You should definitely check out this barn!

Sara Suryan: Danielle and her team are wonderful! The horses are well cared for and clearly loved. Will definitely be back.

Deerfield Farm: what do users think?

Janine Lange: This farm, this program and this community has meant so much to our family. This unique program not only taught our daughter to ride, it also taught her about dedication, gratitude, accountability, the importance of and how to work together , and a “can-do” attitude. We watched our daughter grow into a confident rider and member of the riding team, onto team leader; where she served as a mentor, advisor and organizer. She developed deep relationships built on mutual respect, trust and acceptance. So many lessons learned during her time here have become part of her foundation. As a parent, I already see her putting the skills she’s learned to use as she ventures out into the world, navigating her own way as a young, confident adult.

Jill Galiotto: Deerfield is an exceptional place - great horses, excellent instruction, and a wonderful community! The youth team is an amazing program that is focused not just on developing extraordinary riders, but also on developing extraordinary young women of character. I wish there had been a program like this that I could have been a part of as a child. As an adult, I started taking lessons once a week two years ago, then started leasing one of Deerfield's wonderful horses and experienced my first horse shows, and finally, last October, Katie helped to find me my very own horse. Ranger now lives and trains at Deerfield and he and I completed our first show season together and are part of the adult "non-pro" team. I have ridden horses throughout my life, but the instruction at Deerfield has been beyond anything I've ever experienced before. I've learned so much about riding and about myself, and I'm so thankful that I found a trainer like Katie and a barn like Deerfield!

Patricia Larson: Absolutely the best program ever!Deerfield teaches life skills that carry throughout your life.

Emily Felty: Katie from the very beginning has made me feel valued and heard as a student. Her skills and knowledge as a horseman can be so obviously seen in the quality, health and happiness of all the Deerfield horses, which in turn makes them the ultimate teachers. Since starting there my skills and understanding of riding have gone way past where I thought possible. I highly recommend Deerfield for those looking to learn what truly effective riding is, on horses who are experts and teachers, from trainers who prioritize your goals and the horses health.

Haley Pembroke: I was a client at Deerfield for 7 years and had a horse in training there for more than 4 of those years. I have nothing but outstanding things to say about the way that Katie Sikes runs her business. Katie is an incredible coach; she puts so much energy into every student she works with and does everything in her power to help them reach their goals in the arena. Katie is also a phenomenal horse trainer and exhibits a rare compassion and love for each horse. Deerfield is my family and my forever home.

Philip Wilhelm: Aweso.e program for young girls

Rae Rankin: Great riding program.

Abel Naranjo: A beautiful place to visit 😉

josie rimmer: My home away from home. I’ve trained here for 10 years and have become who I am because of the family I’ve grown here.

Carol Dal Porto: An amazing program, a fantastic place to learn to ride in a safe environment from qualified instructors. Deerfield provides a unique experience for Young equestrians to study horsemanship and develop lifelong skills. I highly recommend this place for both children and adults interested in riding.

Robin McManamin: I started riding lessons at Deerfield one year ago - as an adult beginner. I absolutely love it! All of the instructors have been wonderful, supportive and completely knowledgeable! Having never ridden anywhere else, I am impressed with their absolute and total care of, and love for their horses. The farm is intimate and feels just the right size. Yes, I am learning to ride but I am also learning to be a calmer and more centered human being. I guess horses do that to a person! Thanks Deerfield!

Phoenix Farm Inc.: what do users think?

Nicole Emmons: . Even better, this barn is down to earth - everyone is incredibly nice and supportive. I grew up riding hunter/jumper competitively in California. I took a break for college, then rode for another year in my mid-20s, and after an 18-year break, just got back into riding again about 7 months ago. It's been such a supportive and encouraging environment in which to regain my skills, confidence, and strength. They even have an amazing summer camp program for kids - my 6-year-old daughter attended last year and is going again this year. She's now attending weekly lessons and learning everything from horse care, ground work, tacking up/untacking, riding technique, and more all in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. I love Phoenix Farm and highly suggest it to anyone looking for a great hunter/jumper barn!

Quinn Riley: do not show. Despite having been riding

Mahsa Paidar: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueVery professional, warm atmosphere and friendly. They have great and beatiful boarding facilities and nice lesson horses. Thank you!

C Hallsted: Jewel of a Barn, horses are well taken care of and Pro Instructors.

Rob Bare: , daily turnouts and exercise helps to maintain a proactive stable. Experienced personel, long time patrons alike communicate effectively generally identifying potential problems beforehand such as early detection of lameness or sickness.Executed by experienced knowledgeable professionals who are qualified, experienced riders/trainers that always keep your horses best interest at heart. Allowing you to have peace of mind knowing that your horse will be the best horse it can be even if you yourself can't always be.There is a hint of magic here. Something about this property just sits well with my soul.

Joanna Plattner Mattson: When my 12 y.o. daughter requested jumping lessons my primary concern was safety. I am so grateful we found Phoenix Farms. I have full confidence in the well cared-for lesson horses and am consistently impressed by the high quality instruction she receives from David each week. He is kind, direct, patient, and keenly aware of every rider and horse in the ring during her group lessons. Best of all, the barn has a warm, welcoming family feeling.

I lost my beloved horse Brady after almost 20 yrs together. I didn't know how to move forward emotionally, until Tina asked if I'd like to ride one of her horses, Tarsin. For the past 6 mos we have developed the most amazing bond and I learned that I can love another horse again and enjoy riding out on the beautiful Alpine trails with Tarsin. I cannot thank Tina enough for what she did for me. Tarsin enjoys such a good life under Tina and John's care and I get to be a little part of that each time I visit and ride. Thanks Tina for all that you do and for caring so much. I am forever grateful 🙏 ❤️

Pets Galore Horseback Rides: what do users think?

Jenneane Jansen: Great pony ride for my niece!

Pedro Balcazar: Thank you Wendy, had a great time taking my grand daughter on one of your horses.

Rebecca Melton: Wonderful place for a trail ride for advanced or beginner riders. As a trail guide myself I have been on many trails in many different countries, but Pets Galore is by far one of my favourite experiences to date. I took my boyfriend who had only been on 2 trail rides prior to our ride at Pets Galore and we both had a blast. Our trail guide, Megan, was super friendly and helpful, and told us a lot about all their animals as we rode around their ranch. She’s definitely the best trail guide we’ve ever had anywhere! The trails are beautiful, the horses are in fantastic shape, and they have many other animals as well. Lexi and May the horses had such big personalities and it’s quite clear that they are well loved and cared for.A highlight of this place for myself and my beginner rider guest is that the horses are not on autopilot mode. You do have to pay attention and actually ride, as opposed to some trail places that have autopilot horses that do the trail on their own, which can get a little boring.Thank you so much Megan and Pets Galore, we will definitely be back!

Pamela Kennedy: We brought our 9 and 7 year old grandkids here for their very first horseback ride. The staff and owner were wonderful, helpful, and encouraging. The kids had a great experience and I would highly recommend Pets Galore.

Jenn Ford: Wendy was an excellent host!Jewel is a perfect pony for a first-timer!Grounds and trails are clean and clear. Will definitely be back to explore more.

D P: Great place. The rodeo Saturday was a blast

Teagan Woodbury: 3-year-old got to ride, too. They were each on a horse and we were able to lead them around the trails at our leisure, stopping to say hi to the goats and pig and dogs. It was so fun and for sure the highlight of her day! That and feeding the horses a carrot at the end. This is such a beautiful place. Highly recommend!

sushi samurai: The owner and our guide was awesome!!! We had a great day horseback riding! We will definitely be back.

Allison Saperstein: Wendy and crew were very friendly. The horses were gentle giant
