He’s the reason I’m writing this review. Ryan was SO nice, professional, helpful, polite, and happy! He didn’t have to help us but he did. He’s so easy to chat with too!! He is in the perfect position and I can see him moving up with the company with his drive and positive attitude! I hope all of upper management sees this review and acknowledges him for his stellar customer service!!!! Please take extra great care of Ryan because he deserves it!

Yi Chiang: Great location and amenities! I had a great time as a member of this gym; often taking advantage of the salt water pool and indoor basketball court.The equipment here has definitely seen better days and I eventually transitioned to another gym since that was more important in my book.The crowd here definitely caters more towards the older crowd, which was not ideal for me. However, If you’re looking for a place with many amenities and a great staff, look no further… I couldn’t recommend this place and its staff anymore if lifting isn’t your top priority.

Bradley Patton: For the past few months, I've been a member of this gym, and I can't rave about it enough! With its wide variety of amenities, this gym really distinguishes out from the competition, which is why I joined with no hesitation. There are a few interesting things about this place, including the fact that it's never crowded and the personnel, especially Lucky. My recommendation of this gym to friends has been aided by their encouragement.

Michael Schimke: My renewed enthusiasm in working out can be attributed to my new employment. A SAC membership is a health benefit provided by my employer. I just finished my first week of exercise, and while I'm a little sore, it's in a nice manner. I adore everything I'm learning from the incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming personnel here.

Terry Jung: it's been 1 week, so far it's ok. Ofc it could always be better with better furniture, better lockers, better atmosphere, better whatever but it does the job, it has a ton of various cardio equipment, lots of weights, various classes and can't beat the location. I do think the enrollment fee is a scam especially given how outdated this place is but i didn't have a choice. The pool is outdated and short in length [20 yards] but it is the only one available in this area so i appreciate it. Staff so far has been nice.

They pays attention to details, from warm-up, engage certain part of muscles, safety. Professional, highly efficient, and offers the most constructive guidance. Trent, Chelsea, and Chassi are knowledgeable and welcoming coaches that take the time to teach and push all members. Nick Watkins: Doing something like CrossFit can be very intimidating, especially when you are a big person, but the team at Riot are super encouraging and adapt work outs to where you are at.

The coaches and members were welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I now drop in a couple times a month. The workouts are always challenging, but the skilled coaches can modify the workout to fit your needs. The atmosphere is supportive and the space is well laid out. If I lived in Seattle I would certainly be a full time member. Working out at Riot is always a highlight of my trips.

Lindsay Griffin: I’ve been going to Academy Athletics for over 3 years now and absolutely love it! Highly recommend if you are looking for a group fitness class. The classes themselves have a great mix of cardio and strength training. There is a nice variety of equipment in the gym and no two days are identical so you’ll never get bored of the workout.The trainers and Lionel are all super supportive, kind and helpful. They’ll help correct your form, create modifications if you need it and push you to do your best. It’s a fun and friendly environment with a mix of people at different fitness levels. If you are looking to get in shape or stay physically active you should definitely check out Academy Athletics!

Madhukar Murali: I completed the 6-week challenge and won! Lionel's meal plan along with the quick 45 minute workout's are a beautiful combination to start your fitness journey. The gym is super hygienic and has a very pleasing ambience. The exercise's may seem challenging when you begin initially, but working out with a group really gets you motivated. A big shout out to Andreea and Monica as well. Would definitely recommend this gym to everyone.

Each of them have their unique styles, are always accommodating, amazing tips on how to adapt the workouts to an individual's strengths, and most of all, friendly. Taking a session here will be your highlight of the day!The workouts are Tabata style High Intensity Interval workouts. The first 6 weeks are an amazing journey that will make you realize how simple it is to achieve your fitness goals! A meal plan is devised for your individual needs with a recipe list. And of course, Lionel is available to answer any questions you might have with regards to it. I can personally vouch for the 6 weeks challenge - I went from 14% body fat to close to 12% and developed strength along the way.I can go on and on why Academy is one of the best places for you to join - not just for the workout aspect, but for feeling positive too! Do it! Just do it!

Lindsay Jarrell: Lionel has changed my entire mentality when it comes to working out, nutrition and lifestyle. When I signed up for Academy Athletics it was my hail mary. I had tried numerous other programs that were not realistic to maintain or I gained all the weight back. Lionel changed all that with education and support. You have access to ask questions and he is very responsive and gives you enough info to be making educated decisions on your own by the end of the program. I felt like the odds were stacked against me, being postpartum, post covid & a few medical barriers, but the program worked & I have been continuing to use the tools Lionel taught me since the program ended and have maintained my weight loss and lifestyle. Many people have asked what changed, and I tell them "Lionel at Academy Athletics". The investment in Lionel and myself has paid off tenfold, easy.

They have child care tooThe new addition opened up and is a nice space to do a variety of exercises.New classroom for exercise added bringing the total to three and a ton of new classes!Also, 2 pools, hot tub, sauna and steam room.

Robin Bajra: Local establishment that been around for a long time, keep keeping on. Least amount of the riff raff in any other gym in the Seattle area that I notice, raise the rates please to keep that going, lol.

Emily Louden: Rain City Fit is truly the “third space” in my life. Outside of work and my house, I spend most of my time here. The people are welcoming and I have met some of my closest friends here. I’ve never been worried about messing up an exercise, needing a spot, or not knowing how to use a machine. The owners are welcoming and considerate. The gym is not just inclusive of queer people, it’s made up of some of the most loving queer individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Also, it’s dog friendly! What’s not to love?

Lindsay Sale: Aspire has been such a wonderful place to get back on my fitness journey, training with Julia is amazing but the atmosphere over all is great! For someone not used to heavy lifting and strength training it’s a judgment free zone, where everyone’s just there to be their best. Thanks Aspire community!

jason yen: Nice gym. Clean, lots of weight lifting equipment. There’s some cardio stuff like a couple treadmills and stationary bikes, but this is a lifting gym. I’m a cardio guy, but my wife started going here and convinced me to try it out with a trainer. Owner and trainer Julia developed a work out specifically focusing on my goals and it’s pretty good. Your mileage may vary, but I personally like it.

Grayson Chao (he / him): IMO, this is the best gym for strength & conditioning work in Seattle. They get all the details right: everything is always clean, equipment is well-positioned to maximize use of space without anything getting in the way, and the 24-hour access code is a godsend for people like me with weird schedules and helps to spread out attendance such that there's rarely a wait for any equipment. Although some very advanced athletes do train here, I didn't find the atmosphere intimidating or judgmental. Actually, as a novice lifter, I was welcomed and encouraged by both staff and the other members from day one. The location right off Aurora is pretty convenient too, with both a dedicated parking lot and plenty of overflow parking in the nearby residential streets.

Has everything you need for any kind of training really. A gym of with this much quality equipment is actually pretty hard to find in Seattle!

David Clark: I am so grateful for Aspire and the people that are there everyday! I have been going to Aspire for about a year. I'm not the most social gym goer but everyone has been kind, and the trainers have helped me find and work with all the equipment. It has a great variety of cardio equipment, plyometrics space, stretching area, and the olympic lifting equipment. Enough space that I never have to wait for anything, but its not so big as to feel like a commercial mega gym. I highly recommend this gym if youre looking for one - hours are great also so you can fit working out into your schedule. Thanks Deedee!

They make up some TOUGH workouts but also connect with the members to ensure there is good form and community during the time there.As we start back with COVID they are being very careful, safe, and smart about how workouts continue with all health standards being considered and enforced.Highly recommend checking this place out, once I tried it I never wanted to leave.

Jay Rudwall: As a transplant, discovering Accelerate has been one of my highlights since moving to Seattle. It really has everything you could ever want from a gym. Knowledgeable coaches, who get to know you and your body, push you, and offer modifications if you have an injury? Check. A clean and well-kept space with top-tier equipment? Absolutely. A community of awesome people who work hard? You bet. The workouts at Accelerate are challenging and the atmosphere is awesome. Can’t recommend it enough!

Elizabeth Kakos: Accelerate is the best! The different class formats give you a great balance of strength and cardio training throughout the week. The coaches are knowledgeable and program well thought out workouts. They will definitely push you and challenge you, but will never push you beyond what you are comfortable with. They give great feedback to ensure that you are preventing injury and getting the most out of the work you are putting in, and they are happy to modify if needed. Last but certainly not least, is the amazing community. Accelerate members are the most fun, competitive, and hardworking group around. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else!

Susan Burwick: is my favorite And is a team based work out that generally incorporates a lot of cardio with other exercises in between. Regardless of the class, you will not be disappointed.

Lindsay McFarland: Accelerate is truly one of a kind! I was immediately drawn to the community and the challenge of their classes. I love having the mixture of conditioning and strength. I used to only do cardio but have noticed a huge difference in adding in regular strength classes. I also feel much more confident lifting thanks to all the coaching on form-the coaches take the time to meet you where you are at and are so encouraging. Can’t recommend this gym enough!

Both the strength and conditioning classes are the best workouts I've had since wrestling practices in high school! Ashley Edwards: While it may feel intimidating at first, please don't let that deter you. Accelerate is the absolute best workout I've ever experienced. I constantly find that I'm challenged in new ways, never hitting a plateau, always working towards something new. And while many class-style workouts can sometimes feel isolating, this is by far the best community out there. Cheering one another on through strength, classic, and especially maximum output days -- these are my people and I'm so so SO happy to have found this place.

Rosalie Corrigan: I have been to quite a few gyms in the area and accelerate goes above and beyond any others I have tried out. Brandon and the team have the best programming with the perfect mix of conditioning and strength. I never lifted before joining accelerate and can feel the difference adding in heavy weights has done for my overall power and endurance. The coaches give such great cues and tips on form so even if you are new to certain exercises they make sure you are doing it safely. The community at accelerate is also incredible. I always leave the gym feeling stronger from the workout and happier because of the encouraging and hard working people around me. It’s an amazing workout that leaves you exhausted yet always wanting to come back for more. Definitely check it out!

Jeff Edwards: The programming is top notch. The challenging workouts are balanced with encouraging coaches who help each member train at the right level for each individual. Three different class formats all help develop fitness, boost endurance, and build strength. Classes often feature a team element, encouraging interacting with the fun community of members. I've gotten stronger, fitter, and made some cool friends along the way. Definitely recommend checking out this gym!

Daren Bell: program that is the perfect mix of strength training, HIIT and cardio training. Not to mention the awesome Accelerate community they have built. This place has been an absolute game changer for me. After suffering through a severe back injury December 2018, I needed something to kick start my fitness regiment again. I started Accelerate in April of this year and I can honestly say that I am now in the best shape of my life. 15lbs lighter, more endurance than I have ever had, and my back issues and other problem areas are essentially a thing of the past. The Accelerate family has welcomed me with open arms, and there is no other gym I will work out in. I'm all in.P.S. MOT

David De Maria: I have been going to Pro Club for several months now. I typically go in the morning around 9am. The gym is quiet… Not a lot of people. But, enough to make you feel not alone. I definitely get my choice of what machines I want without having to wait. The gym is super clean. The staff is always friendly. The locker rooms are great too. Very clean and organized. There is a wet and dry sauna along with a jacuzzi. showers too. Parking is easy and they validate. So far so good…. I recommend!

Also wish the bench press setup would be more updated. Overall I had a great experience and really enjoyed lifting here!

Tonya Marmon: Nate is one of the greatest trainers I have worked with in 20 years. I went through 4 other trainers before I found Nate at Athletic Form. I was extremely nervous due an ACL surgery about a year prior and being focused on strength over cardio. I have been training with Nate for just over a year now and he has drastically increased my physical and mental strength beyond what I could have ever imagined. He knows your limits better than you do, and takes the time to know where you're at each session, without judgement, so he can tailor the session to you.Besides just Nate, every single person is incredibly welcoming. From day 1, everyone at the front desk knew my name.

Stephanie Reyes: I’ve been going to this gym for about 2 months now and I have really enjoyed this gym. I really like the different types of leg equipment that I haven’t seen at any other gyms I have been to. This is a convenient gym if you live or work around the area. There is a parking garage available that you can pay an additional cost for. The parking garage is pretty small and can be a little hard to park/get out. The gym is decently sized. There are certain days/times where it can get a little packed just like any other gym. It is mainly only on Mondays and you may have to wait a little bit to use the equipment like the squat racks or treadmills. The turf area is also limited so you may be jumping over neighbors to get to your equipment or be working out close to others. I would say the cost of the membership is worth it. The gym is really well looked after and very clean. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Everyone here keeps to themselves. Of note, you do have to pay an additional cost to use massage chairs and their other recovery machines. I have been very happy with my experience here.

That was over 3 years ago, since then I have been a regular, 4-7 times a week, mostly very early mornings, the owner, the staff, trainers and trainees are very friendly, there is a lot of free weights as well as machines and I have done some powerlifting training, bodybuilding training, cardio, fitness classes, cycling classes, rowing class and a few other things so I think it’s a VERY well-rounded gym where you can find equipment and classes for most training modalities. The one thing I do not like would be when they do group classes on the gym main floor that takes roughly half the space, making it hard for anybody to train during those times.It’s definitely my favorite boutique gym in Seattle, 100% would recommend.

Jacob M: Sad this location is closing 4/13/2024The gym was a perfect place to get familiarized with exercising and lifting weights. It had a diverse demographic and felt inclusive with minimal "gym-fluencers". The high schoolers were annoying but ignorable, occasional broken equipment, and not always the cleanest, but ALWAYS had great customer service and was affordable.I hope they can find a new location and re-open because of the people that work there. They transferred membership to LA Fitness - they have *terrible* reviews from local guides and regular reviewers. I do not want to give them my money or be judged by their employees/clients/etc.

Eric Wolak: This facility is conveniently located and has a wide range of free weights, machines, and classes. They even have a body analyzer that was incredibly informative. The staff is so nice and helpful. I highly recommend!

Payton Renner: This is the best gym in Seattle HANDS DOWN. Best equipment, best locker rooms, best staff! I always feel so welcome here.

Kylie L: I have enjoyed the classes here. The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable in proving advices to questions or concerns I have relating to the exercises I attend during their classes. They even provide me suggestions on how to prevent them. They also take effort to remember names of those who attend their classes.
