Kim Mulligan: Realtor, this grocery store is a neighborhood perk you will see in our local listings. Like its siblings, Markettime in Fremont or Ken’s in Queen Anne, the store has been through many upgrades through the decades. It’s gone from being a mere convenience store to a destination. You can find good deals in their sales, or pick up the local specialty cider Phinneywood a cider started during the pandemic and sold out of a very controversial garage on one of the nesrby pandemic walking trail streets. The deli is a great place to stop in the morning to pick up a breakfast on the go, a fresh made sandwich for lunch, and a dinner to reheat at the end of the workday. All made on site or check the freezer case for more national brands.What always impresses me is the young people they find to work there. Helpful and respectful I wonder how many have passed through their store all these years as their part time job. It’s not the cheapest place to pick up something, but the goodwill they provide, one can’t put a price on. It’s another Phinney Ridge Cornerstone!
Keegan Dunn: Great local grocery store with great fresh food and a great selection of premade meals. It's a bit expensive though. Wish they were still available during dinner hours, the deli closes at 4 now. Burgers are on Tuesdays as well as Thursdays now, fantastic for $6!

Antoine Victor: The Deli has a delicious Instagram famous burger for only $6! Make no mistake though, this is not a typical Deli sandwich! This is a ground chuck steak burger made only on Tuesdays and Thursdays! They are not made to order, they are made in advance. They only make a certain amount so don't be tardy! We got there at about 2:30pm on Thursday and there were only about 6 or 7 burgers left. By the time I paid for my burger, had a couple bites and decided I wanted another one I looked over at the burger shelf and it was vacant... Got a Gatorade from the Market and ate in the Deli.Minus 1 star only because there should be more burgers! 😋

Ambar G: This is one of my all time favorite little stores, nestled in the heart of Issaquah. If you want the best kitchen herbs and spices get out here for quality and quantity! The prices are also very reasonable and much cheaper than your local supermarkets like QFC and Safeway. Their minced garlic is a must have. You will also find many specialty and unique items here you can not get anywhere else. The gentleman that has been running this store over the years is also a good lad and supports his community. I am still waiting for their shipment of the Great Lakes Gelatin and some more local honey. Hopefully to see that on their shelves soon. 5 stars! and Thank you!

I spoke to the clerk about this, but she couldn't find out more about the delay. It's probably not her fault, but Amazon should create a way for them to find out the status of your delivery. I had to leave and come back, and gas prices were too high in today's economy.

Alex Maloney: Tried the chai with oat milk, matcha mint latte, oatmeal cookie and caramelized sugar croissant. The chai was good, not too sweet and not too spicy. The matcha mint latte was nicely balanced as well especially not being overpowering with the mint. Their oat milk cookie did surprise me, it’s not your basic cookie. The caramelized sugar croissant was a bit on the moist side. It wasn’t as light and flaky as normal croissants, but flavor wise it did deliver.

Ideally let it warm up/thaw before peeling the cover and eating.Their pastries like their croissants are really well made delicious and crispy and chewy and all the right ways. The berries and fruit in the danishes are very fresh and really delicious.Best of all are the Japanese mochi-like hand made desserts -- made by Tokara near by -- that you might catch if you are early enough. As far as I know I think it's the only Japanese dessert maker left in Seattle. In the photo are the Uguisu which are made of soft silky mochi wrappes, chunky Adzuki bean paste. Sprinkled with roast soy powder. Rice flour, sugar, mizuame candy.Vegetarian options: Most of the pastries are vegetarian. They do have the one savory option with onion.

David James: I made the mistake of shoplifting at this location last December the manager on duty asked me to kindly put back the items as he saw what I did and I complied then he proceeded to buy me dinner at the deli. This is one of the nicest people I've ever met, I hope he's able to read this. He also should be promoted to night time manager if he isn't aleady. He has gray hair, and a grey beard, and probably in his 60s. I'm gainfully employed and no longer homeless thanks to Seattle, love to all thanks. Needless to say won't happen again.
Liz Santos: One of my favorite grocery stores in West Seattle! Fresh produce and an excellent selection of cheese. I can buy products that you can't find in any other grocery or specialty store. Also, delicious soups and entrees can be purchased at their deli if you don't feel like cooking, and don't forget to pick up one of their amazing chocolate chip cookies!

Sydney Max Lee: I love getting coffee at this cute Beacon Hill cafe because of its inviting ambience and fresh coffee flavors! Cardamom Rose Latte?! Lavender Oatmilk Latte? White Chocolate Matcha Latte?! Please… TAKE MY MONEY!I usually get their coffee but this time, I also got a bag of beans because why the heck not?! Their staff is very friendly and their hours are reliable!
Dari B: Good pastries, decent drink choices. The store is a bit small so if it’s raining or if it’s full inside, you’re getting your pastries + drinks to go.Everything seemed really fresh but I don’t think they bake it there. They must bring it from a commissary kitchen somewhere.
