Animal Medical Center of Seattle: what do users think?

Tuilly Morita: We’ve been here several times now and everyone from the front desk to the vet techs and doctors have been kind, communicative, and thorough. While it’s never “fun” to be at an emergency vet, I feel assured that the staff is giving my pets the best care.

Joseph Marquez: kept us well informed of their medical decision making which was reasonable and sensible the whole time. When the results made it clear there was no chance of turning the process around they helped set us up for the best possible return home for our cat to die peacefully in the only home she ever knew.

Nicole Ruder: . I do wish I got to be in triage with her rather than wait away from her, but I also am understanding of why they don’t have things set up that way here. Would recommend for anyone experiencing a pet emergency!

Dustin Adams: truly above and beyond from the staff here.If Im ever dealing with a pet emergency this will be exactly where I go from now on!! Thank you again AMCS!!!

Kristy Leach: I WAS COMPLETELY DEVISTATED WHEN I BROUGHT MY SWEET MANDO IN! I NEEDED A SECOND OPINION AFTER VISITING SUMNER ANIMAL HOSPITAL WITH WHAT I KNEW WAS A MIS-DIAGNOSIS. THE TEAM INSTANTLY BROUGHT HIM BACK AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO WORK ON HIM. HIS LIVER WAS FAILING AND HE WAS BREATHING HEAVY. ALTHOUGH THERE HAD BEEN X-RAYS AND BLOODWORK DONE AT SUMNER DR. RUSHING DID MORE TO COMPARE OR TO SEE WHAT WAS MISSED. SHE CAME IN TO THE ROOM AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED AND SHOWED ME THE XRAYS AND BLOODWORK RESULTS. SHE SHOWED ME ALL THE WATER IN HIS LUNGS AND FAILING ORGANS WHICH WAS THE MISSING INFO THAT I DIDN'T RECEIVE FROM SUMNER. SHE WENT INTO FULL EXPLANATION OF ALL THE POSSIBLE REASONS FOR HIS CONDITION AS WELL AS TREATMENT/SURVIVAL RATE. ALTHOUGH THE END RESULT WAS DEVISTATING, THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO LET GO OF MY 13 YEAR OLD BABY! DR. RUSHING WAS SO COMPASSIONATE NOT ONLY DURING ALL THE TESTING AND CONSULTATION BUT DURING THE FINAL MOMENTS OF MY BOYS' END OF LIFE! SHE DIDN'T JUST GO ON HER KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING. SHE ALSO REACHED OUT TO THE RADIOLOGIST TO MAKE SURE HER DIAGNOSIS WAS WHAT THEY SAW AS WELL. IF ONLY I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT HIM THERE FIRST...NOW ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS I'VE DONE IN MY ADULT LIFE HAS PASSED, I CAN FINALLY START TO HEAL!THANK YOU DR. RUSHING AND YOUR AMAZING TEAM FOR YOUR EXCELLENCE AND COMPASSION!

Kevin Jabroni: The help and care we received from the professionals there was absolutely incredible but in knocking off a star for how rude and unfit for her line of work the receptionist was. It was ridiculous to be there in that moment, during an emergency, and there’s this cold, emotionless lady with not one ounce of social skills or professionalism in her body working the front desk. I’d definitely come back, but I hope she’s found another line of work by now.

Kali Grunden: Everyone there was so comforting and let me take as much time with my family dog as possible. They answered all our questions and didn't pressure us to make any on the spot decisions. I believe coming here gave us the best of a bad situation

Jackie M.: after she had a terribly botched dental extraction at another vet. She was left with a large decaying hole in her jaw nearly the size of a penny from the previous procedure done elsewhere.Dr. Carle squeezed my dog in, took a close look at her injury, and gave me a firm plan forward. She made room in her schedule within days to complete corrective surgery on my 12.5 year old dog. Dr. Carle and her team fully explained the procedure and how they would fix the damage. I was very nervous after what my dog had been through, but they were understanding, compassionate, and took their time with me.The entire team here from the front desk to everyone I ever encountered made me feel heard and taken care of. Rachael and Dr. Carle were such kind people in a time when I felt scared and nervous for my fur baby. My dog is finally back to her old self, and I could not be more thankful. I cannot recommend Dr. Carle and her team enough!

Lenni Shea: We have spent a lot of time at this emergency vet over the past few years having elder pets. We have had excellent experiences each and every time, from check in to vet techs, to the doctors and check out. Everyone is so helpful and compassionate, understanding and supportive. Techs Briar and Morganne have been especially helpful and always check in on our pets. We brought our younger cat in a couple days ago and Dr. White took wonderful care of him, explained all our different options for testing and treatment recommendations and took time with us. Just prior to our having home euthanasia for our dog, I brought her in through their urgent care and Dr. Smith was so wonderful- again very compassionate, understanding and went through all the options with support for whatever I decided. Jackie and Dawn at the front desk have been really wonderful, quick and responsive at checkin and we watched Jackie very compassionately help out someone who was letting their dog go and struggling to figure out payment. She was so patient with her. We are super disappointed that we are moving soon and won’t be able to continue to use them for emergency but will definitely make the drive for urgent care and specialists from Renton! Thank you to all of the team, I wasn’t able to name everyone we have had a good experience with but it’s been every tech, nurse, vet and front desk staff, truly. Bring your pets here!

Sarah Thomas: we were simply chatting about it but she was spot on the money with her diagnosis.

Jamie F: I'm so grateful they are here, they have been so extremely helpful while our cat is going through some issues. Everyone I've met through multiple visits has been so wonderful and compassionate.

Michelle Coburn: We have been to many specialists with our sweet yorkie and have found Dr. Tanya Donovan to be among the very best. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and effective. She never rushed us when discussing our yorkie's healthcare, giving us detailed explanations and options. If you are in need of an internist, we highly recommend Dr. Donovan.

M I W: I had the unfortunate experience of needing the services of the Animal Medical Centers for emergency intervention for the second time in a year. Both my experiences were great if you remove the unpleasantness of an ill pet. Staff answering the phones were helpful and compassionate. Staff at intake/triage were professional and kind. Expectations for time and what would be happening were clear. When I spoke to the vet they provide options, explained the price related to those options. Several people have implied up selling or sales but I didn't feel that was the case. Nothing suggested was outrageous in terms of valid care and I was able to discuss with the vet the pros and cons of my options. Yes, it's more than the cost care at your personal vet but it's an emergency service. It is what it is and I'm grateful to the providers that gave my pup the care he needed.

Dermatology Center for Animals: what do users think?

Oleg Dusaev: From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The center is clean and well-organized. Dr. Mel took the time to thoroughly examine our cat, explaining the process and potential issues in a way that was easy to understand. He was patient, kind, and clearly passionate about his work. He provided a comprehensive plan that included diet changes and preventative measures, showing his commitment to our pet's overall health and well-being. If you're looking for a vet who specializes in dermatology, look no further than Dr. Mel's Dermatology Center for Animals.

Ms K: Highest marks for care, surgery skills, and response. We took on an elderly rescue pup a few years ago that had had many surgeries for growths in the past, and even an ear canal removed. When we got her, her remaining ear had a tremendous tumor and our local Vet recommended Dr Mel. He was able to save the ear, put her on a limited-ingredient food, and recommended all the natural foods our dog can eat. She did not have another problem for over 2 years until we tried to introduce a new food - now Dr. Mel is back on it and all is looking good to undo the ear canal reaction this new food has caused. I really like that you can email his Tech in between appointments too. Although in Seattle, his Office is easy to get to, right next to the 5 frwy and he has plenty of non-traffic time slots & Saturdays

Mahdi Albassam: Clean surroundings. Helpful staff. Great Dr with ample explanation.

Matthew Rockowski: I took my dog here that has been struggling with allergies for years. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My dog is very skittish and all the staff were kind, gentle and accommodating. The vet and his nurse explained all the options and did a lot of education so I could understand what was going on. They helped me pick a treatment plan and I feel confident in the decisions we made collaboratively. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could!

A Ptr: My poodle had skin growth on her face, which worried me and made it hard to groom her. I talked to a regular vet over a year ago about removing it, and they told me this could only be done under general anesthesia. They quoted over a thousand for the procedure.I contacted DCA and made an appointment to take a look at the growth. The doctor offered to remove it and send it to a lab for a biopsy. The procedure was done same day using sedative. The whole thing was about $700 which included the biopsy cost.Since the procedure was done sooner than I anticipated, I didn't think about our vacation plans at the time. We had to leave 4 days later to travel across the border to BC, Canada. Our pup would still be wearing the cone. We contacted the customs and were told, that we need a letter from a doctor, that she is OK to travel.I called DCA office to give us such a letter. The technician was surprised, because they have never heard about this requirement. She said she would talk to the doctor. We received the letter by email same day. At the border, nobody asked us to show the letter, but it saved us from anxiety and possibly extended processing time.During the vacation, we received a phone call from the office that the biopsy came back normal.Grateful for helping us with the skin issue and the prompt response with the letter.

Bradley Jellerichs: . His office is very new and clean and bright.

Brandon Kapana: Dr. Mel's consultation was very informative and laid out all of the options for us. He explained to us that from the symptoms that our dog was showing we were safest and CHEAPEST to go the food allergy testing route. He then suggested other routes if this one failed

Sharon McDonnell: I can’t say enough about Dr Mel. He is an exceptional dermatology vet. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions and explained the treatment options very clearly. We were allowed to go in with our German Shepherd, and that meant so much to us during this pandemic. I feel completely satisfied and it didn’t even break the bank. Thank you, Dr Mel.

Sunday Lane: , and sold me foods that were likely still contributing to the problems. We are now on the right food elimination food, and working through finding his allergies. This doctor could have had me spend SO much more since I was willing to do anything, but instead is having me start with the smartest thing first since those are the symptoms my dog is showing. He's ethical, cares about the dog, and saved me time and money. I wish I'd gone sooner, but I'm going to get to the bottom of this and feel good that I've got someone with great training in our corner when we need him.

Emily Thoreson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality

Erin Rousu: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ResponsivenessDr. Mel is fantastic. He definitely pays attention to details.

Madison Park Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?

Jerry Pinkepank: My adopted cat Zico has special needs due to extreme reaction to being around other pets; the folks here have gone out of their way to arrange so we can bring him at a time when he can go right to the exam room or operating room and back without any period in the waiting room around other animals. They are very thorough in their diagnostic work and in a dental cleaning and extraction Zico needed when he was adopted. They have a good supply of foods for special diets and of prescription meds. They are a big enough practice to be able to make timely appointments and small enough for lots of personal attention including follow-up e-mail exchanges. The parking area shared with adjoining businesses requires a little adaptation at times but I've never had a real issue with it. (The above is a 2023 review; just completed Zico's 2024 annual checkup and all the good things from 2023 are equally good today; they've furnished me pdf's of the blood test and radiology so I can maintain my history file, and at my request did extra things in the exam for precursors of cancer since I lost my previous two cats to cancer not detected soon enough. I think by having vets in a small practice who know my concerns about this, we will be able to stay on top of this as Zico ages.

Teresa Walsh: Docs are very smart and awesome and go above average to help solve doggo issues. They follow up with calls to make sure fur kids are doing ok!Madison Park Vets and staff are pet lovers and really care about our fur kids and their humans♥️

Carlos Ferreira: Great experience and facilities. Our kitten came home and is now the same pest as before.

Russ Pengelly: The Veterinarians and team at Madison Park Veterinary Hospital are simply great and wonderful people. You cannot go wrong taking your non-human family member to their clinic. George gives them four paws up!

J BurBesaflores: Dr. Katz is the best, very good with both animals and people.

Kelley Jackson: Rebecca and Ariel are the first to greet you. They are always so helpful and pleasant. They really set the stage for the rest of the visit and that has always been excellent care. Thank You for serving your community with such high standards. It’s very much appreciated.

Deirdre Doyle: Always pleasant and very caring staff. They listen to how your pet is doing and provide good counsel.

Green Lake Animal Hospital: what do users think?

Russ Alexander: I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this office. We have been taking our animals here for years and they've received nothing but the best of care. One of our dogs is a very reactive boy and they have gone out of their way to make our dog feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Callie Webb: I have been wanting to come to Green Lake Animal Hospital for so long! Their outside appearance is very welcoming with the best flags a-waving and large windows to peer inside. I was hoping the team would be just as great as the outside…and boy oh boy were they! We arrived a couple minutes early and were walked into a room as soon as we arrived! My dog got to see Kiana the vet assistant and Dr Walker. Kiana was very kind and Dr Walker is hands down the best vet I’ve ever encountered. She was extremely thorough, listened to and addressed all my concerns, and gave me a ton of wonderful information in a way I could understand! I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving the vet! 10/10 would recommend coming here! They are worth any wait!

Laura B: The people at this animal hospital are genuinely some of the kindest, most caring, and supremely professional vets I have EVER interacted with. They are so sweet with my dog, so much so that she wants to go in to see them when we drive past! Recently they even gave me a call and some advice with a behavioral issue my dog was having without requiring a vet visit. I will bring my pets here for the rest of my life. Thank you !!

Dave Watts: We have taken four generations of canine family members to 'Greenlake Animal Hospital for care. They take a personal interest in their patients and treat them well.

Anjani Millet: Great care of my dogs for more than 15 years.

Milad Salem: Amazing staff, the doctor asked so many questions about my cat to get to the bottom of what is the cause of his illness, which I really appreciate. Everything was on time. Highly recommended

Kimberly Harmon: Great experience with my new puppy! So happy!

Earl Grout: NE Vet has been very caring and accessible for Kitten Mitten. They are good at following up appointments with information and reminding of future appointments that need to be scheduled. When we needed assistance in giving Mittens pills every other day for two months, they got her scheduled, gave her the pills expertly with minimum of stress for her and charged a very modest fee. When Mittens needed advanced care right after we adopted her a year ago, they referred us to a good doctor at AMCS in Shoreline. They got her diagnosed and prescribed effective treatment. Thanks for caring for Kitten MItten.... she's worth it.

Daisy Clark: We have used Northeast Vet for many years. The staff is incredible. Always friendly, compassionate and thorough. Our pets are family and I can’t imagine going anyplace else.

Seatown Veterinary Care: what do users think?

Faezeh Ashtiani: I have been going here for my dog for about 2.5 years now. We have had visits with different vets. All the vets and staff are wonderful. We even had my dogs spaying her and it went without any issue and as as well as possible

Jen Terry: The vets at Seatown are phenomenal. Their messaging system can be a bit convoluted, requiring you to go through an app that sends SMSs and emails you can’t reply to, but the team is really responsive.

lindsay brabank: They’ve always been great with my animals. I trust them. Been going there for years always a good experience

Justin: Always take good care of my pup.

Katie Sachter: I recommend Seatown to all my friends and truly cannot recommend them highly enough. My dog gets very nervous at the vet and they are SO patient and caring, always going out of their way to calm him, love on him, communicate with me and get the exams and medications done. This staff not only delivers great medical care, they truly love animals.

Megan: I came in here suddenly when I found a lost dog on the street and had no way to find its owner. Everybody here was so helpful in looking for a microchip, calling around at shelters, providing goods for the dog, and advice on what to do next. It's clear that they all care about animals and take good care of them! Thank you Seatown Veterinary Care!

Eva McQueen: Seatown Vet was so helpful with my dachshunds skin issues! this is the second vet i went to for the same issue and they really helped provide some clarity and the quality of care was excellent. my technician, Diandra was so kind and walked me through everything. i will be back!

Christina: We are in some tough tough times when it comes to vet care, which makes it all the more impressive to see how smooth a process it is taking my fractious dog to Seatown Vet. Reception is always extremely kind and communicative, the vet techs are miracle workers, and the vets have all been very knowledgeable and compassionate. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do!!!

Kristina Kipalina: Excellent care for your pet. They have a kind staff and personalized veterinarian approach. So far we are happy with this vet clinic.

Maple Leaf Pet Corner: what do users think?

Tara Camilli: Excellent care, we have been bringing our cats and dogs here for years, and I found out a couple of my friends use this vet as well. There is also a really good chance to find a baby farm animal spending the day there!

Alan Dolgoff: Super nice people working there and my dog was very happy 😎

Alexander Gomes: The doctors and staff are very personable and care about their patients. We always feel confident in the care they provide and the advice they give.

Marcy Brighton: Excellent care, and very genuine love of the animals they see. Our dogs have been given excellent care here for the past 25 years. Karen is incredible.

Scott Goodner: Amazing staff and doctors, can't recommend them enough

Heather Vanhulle: Very helpful with information and very nice, polite, and great customer service skilled reception/ phone operator

Shawn O'Connor: Great vet

Carla Warner: Dr. Konz and her entire staff are exceptional. I moved to Seattle a year ago with an old lab and they took exceptional care of her. I was always able to get in to see the doctor within 48 hours, usually less. They kept the cost of the visits and the medicines low. And when I did have to put my sweet puppy to sleep they were incredibly compassionate and patient. I can not recommend this vet clinic enough.

Internet Girlfriend: Trusted vet. Staff is very kind, patient, and extremely helpful.

Laura Carlsen: . We're so lucky to have them.

Narisa Ratana-Chen: ; friendly and helpful staff

Stefan L: I brought my cat here when he had an issue with his claw. The vet recognized that something was wrong with his bladder as well, and that diagnosis gave my cat a chance to survive he otherwise wouldn’t have had. He ended up not pulling through, but he would have had even less of a chance if not for the unprompted diagnosis by staff here. When you come here, you can trust your animal is going to be seen by people who care and are good at what they do.

Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle: what do users think?

Sara Webb: I can only speak for the neurology department that I dealt with but the doctors were very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. My dog had some serious health concerns and they delivered hard information with grace and communicated test results clearly so that I could make informed decisions. Every member of the staff I spoke to was friendly and helpful and I was able to get an appointment quickly. I was very impressed.

Jenn B.: I brought my dog in for an emergency visit Friday after my dog Crumble suddenly lost mobility in her back legs. I was referred over by my regular vet for an MRI as X-Rays weren't an viable option for the injury risk. The staff were incredibly friendly and quick to get us seen. They took really good care of my dog during her overnight stay. I'm really thankful they had the time to see her for the MRI. They were incredibly kind and caring and it was clear my dog was in great hands with their team.If your pup has a serious medical emergency I highly suggest coming here if your regular vet cannot fit you in. There isn't enough thank you's to express my gratitude. I am able to have my dog comfortably at home recovering with the right treatment plan. 10/10 for experience. 10/10 for value for money. 10/10 for outstanding communication with each step of the process.

Pegi: On Friday my roommate's dog Jazzmine had a medical emergency we had taken her to Three vets but they couldn't help her when we arrive there the the staff was so beyond helpful they came out to the car help to get Jasmine inside they did everything they could to make her comfortable they gave her the best care possible they even made a bed so my roommate could spend the night with her dog it is a little expensive but it is worth it you can tell the employees care for each and every animal the hospital is Big very clean and very comforting Jasmine is slowly coming back to herself we can't thank you enough for your help and support we rate you beyond five stars we will highly recommend you to our friends and if we ever have another emergency will be coming to you thank you very much "jazzmines auntie Pegi"

Pat Gregg: Kind and caring doctors and staff. They even had free coffee for the long wait on a Friday night.

Jawuan Michlein: had a medical emergency scare over the weekend 4/13/24. We rushed him to VSCS and they promptly took him in and diagnosed the issues. They were very upfront yet gentle about when they would see him based on his condition and potential price of procedures depending on what they would find. We found out he had a urinary tract blockage, and they kept him at the facility for two nights. I got frequent calls and updates regarding his status, and I occasionally would call to just check-in. Everyone I interacted with responded to me and my concerns with empathy and patience. After Zin's discharge we received medication and a clear instructions on how to take care of him for the days to follow. It's been roughly three days since he was discharged and he's now playing with his brother, wanting attention and affection, and getting into mischief

Gilda WA: Four month old puppy started yelping and limping after he slipped going down the stairs. Were seen and evaluated by the vet tech within minutes of arriving, and because the leg was improving and there were no obvious signs of injury, pain and limping was improving, recommend we go home, observe the puppy close, take him to regular vet in a few days. We were not charged and the assessment was accurate, the limping resolved and follow up visit was normal. Friendly and skilled service.

Austin Jolley: They saved my cats life. The care was great they were all very nice and helped however possible. The only downside is the cost. It is very expensive but they are upfront about cost before anything is done. If I have another pet emergency this will be the place I go.

Frank Rizzo: Prior to treatment, a range of the final cost was provided. The care fell below the range provided.

Jeanette Martinez: Best care team in Seattle!!!

Taylor Jaramillo: We took our kitty in for an emergency visit because she was having unexplained seizures. Staff was efficient and friendly, knowledgeable and great at communicating. The treatments were explained clearly and pricing was reasonable. Unfortunately our kitty didn't make it, but they were very compassionate and understanding. For any emergency needs, we will be taking our other animals there in the future.

Dianne Rose: The entire staff I dealt with was amazing. They clearly care about both the pets and the people. The phone calls received during care as well as afterwards were informative and they did a great job at explaining technical terms so we understood what was going on. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Merrisa Shepherd: VSC was introduced to us early on in Jaxons life as he had back surgery to repair 2 herniated discs and we received the best care for Jaxon, he healed and recovered as expected. Since then VSC has been our #1 recommended place for questions/concerns especially with a French Bulldog. Just this week we had a hiccup in Jaxons health and Dr. Douglas went through all the steps necessary to help pinpoint what was troubling Jaxon’s acute vomiting/diarrhea. He even was so generous to hold Jaxon while working to comfort him since he is anxious in unfamiliar places. My only positive but negative reflection was although VSC is an amazing place and have the highest quality veterinary care team, you will wait hours upon hours to be seen. We waited 8 hours Sunday and came back Monday for an ultrasound and waited another 8-9hours which was brutal but our animals are an extension of our family. Just glad we received some answers and a treatment course.

Kailee Ferris: Had to bring my cat in for an emergency for eating string, im so thankful for how kind the desk staff and dr/nurse were and that my cat was able to be triaged and assessed relatively quickly. They were able to treat her and thankfully were able to easily remove the string from her, will always recommend their emergency services

Bailey Martin: , and told us exactly what to do and what to look for. If needed, we will absolutely use their 24 hour vet and if we lived closer this would be our go to. THANK YOU, to the veterinarian that helped us tonight. My husband didn’t get a name, but we would love to recognize you for how helpful and kind you were to us!

Michael Crow: Just working here and keep fixing it up

Seattle Humane: what do users think?

Sapphire Le Rougetel: The adoption process was nice and easy. Everyone was super friendly, and were very excited for us to adopt our new kittens. They provided us with great resources - vets, discounts at pet stores etc. - I would highly recommend adopting from the Seattle Humane!!

John Renforth: When we adopted our new kitten, we were impressed by the entire Seattle Humane organization, the care of the animals, courtesy of the staff, and the overall approach to helping every little one prepare for a new life in a new home. We were so impressed that we adopted a second, a bit older, cat so we now have two brothers who are doing very well and getting along famously. If you are considering adopting a cat or dog, please checkout the Seattle Humane organization. You can have the confidence that every cat and dog is well prepared with all the medical care they may have required, as well as the personal attention to help assist in their transition to a new home.

Jimmy Wong: I brought my 9 month old puppy to get spayed they were very helpful and the cost was very affordable compared to if I was going to the veterinarian

Lily Doan: Great services

Stephanie Kirby: We got Bear from Seattle Humane 3 weeks ago. He is the 2 Ds, delightful and destructive as most puppy’s are. Bear is our second adoption from Seattle Humane, our first was Jack who we got 17 years ago and passed away 2 years ago. Jack was the best companion in all our adventures as I’m sure Bear will be. Pick 1 is Old Jack and pick 2 is Bear. Seattle Humane has the some of the best humans working with the animals and helping out with adoptions, don’t buy from a breeder when you can adopt a loving mutt!

Emily: I have always had great experiences at the Seattle humane society. I've adopted two adult cats here. The volunteers have always been very helpful. Parking is available. Bathrooms were nice. Facilities are clean.

Isabelle Chen: I'm super happy that I found this vet, the people there are super nice and treated my overly sensitive Shiba nicely.
