Jive Time Records: what do users think?

Chris (cmsof): Nice local record store. Decent inventory of new and used vinyl, as well as CDs and some cassettes. I grabbed 5 CDs and a gently used copy of Zeppelin IV on 180 Gram vinyl for less than $50, so pretty reasonable prices as well.

Fruit Snacks: Great selection and friendly staff, I leave with something cool every time I go in.

Meghan Oesterle: Great atmosphere, cute listening station, and good prices.Bit on the smaller side but can't change the walls!

BD Cummings: Excellent neighborhood record shop. Some great finds here recently on a visit to Seattle. Friendly staff too.

Andrew Tigani: They had a print of Danny DeVito

PLAY WITH MY RECORDS ENT.: I really like this spot. Employees are the best and fun to talk to about music. I always have a good time here digging for the next addition to my collection.

Holden Brown: A gem in Seattle that deserves your support. Also co-located with a very nice bookstore.

Starlen Records: Excellent records, merchandise and staff

Erin Heft: and was incredibly knowledgeable and didn't make me feel embarrassed asking about stuff for my dad or anything! You Gotta check it out!

Hunter KC: Very friendly people, great prices, left very happy

mshawkin: Happy record store day

vera b: great store, i would love for there to be a bigger hip hop selection

d. ray: This is a great place for vinyl while in Seattle. It has a strong collection of albums. The jazz section is deep and it has a steady volume of new used records flowing in. Nice staff who are curious about your collection. Definitely will return when I next visit Seattle.

Thomas Rusnak: 3% of every genre is awesome. These folks are the purveyors of that 3%.The staff are very friendly, genuinely nice people who love records. Six stars.

Harold Tiffany: Always the finest quality, well curated offerings in all genres. Great source for old school hip hop 12", Jazz, Soul, and Metal.

john herman: Best record shop in the PNW!! Super-clean curtained selection, whatever genre you're looking for they go deep with knowledge and understanding of the music and pressings. Can't stress enough that they have the best prices.

Nathan Fitting: Really great store. I have probably bought 100+ records here.

Andy: Excellent selection, Superior customer service, Top of the line!

Margot Martell: My favorite record store in Seattle, hands down. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, have only ever had the best experiences both buying from and selling to them. Cannot recommend enough.

Sean Mariotti: Vibe is strong with this joint

Juan C. Restrepo-Rodriguez: Good selection tons of bargains, 1$ bin, $2 bins with good used records.

C. Russell Shaw: Well stocked and rotated selection. I find a Sweet Gem just about every time I go in this place. And the prices don’t break the bank. A place like Daybreak Records is what makes record collecting is fun and not painfully expensive 😎👍 HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🎸🎵

Easy Street Records & Cafe: what do users think?

boardgurlie: in puget sound

John McCoy: Simply one of the best record shops, if not stores in Seattle. Always great service, excellent condition on used records. I don’t even check the records here, I would consider it an insult to their staff. I’ve been buying records here forever and always take a seat at the diner to have a bite as well. The only bummer is I was standing upstairs and a dude with a copy of The Last Waltz in his hand was approached by a staffer and asked if he wanted this sweet framed poster of the Last Waltz and I was crying inside. The Band has always been my favorite group. Heart broken. Still the best store though!

Jason A: I saw a TikTok about this record store as someone who is moving to Seattle next month. There was an indie exclusive record that I ordered from them online recently to get a feel for them, and they included a sticker, punch card, and a personalized thank you on my receipt! You’ve earned my business!!

Russell Ellavsky: Best selection in the NW!

Aaron Thill: This place rocks! I only wish it wasn't all the way in West Seattle.

Richard “Loki” Lionheart: Classic Record Shop in a hip, Seattle Neighborhood. Doesn't get much more Seattle/Grunge than this

Nancy Stifel: Are you kidding !!!!Over the top for Record Shop Day.Scored a Taylor Swift.

Karen S.: Super cool find! They have an incredible selection, a bar in case you're thirsty/hungry & some of the best decor.

yellowlion228: W record store. Line was long on record day but it was worth the wait!

fiona karran: Just the best. Legendary for a reason. I never seem to get out of here without at least 4 records.

Priest Apostate: I love the atmosphere and staff!

Marco Isacchini: everything was born in Seattle in the late '80s. You can breathe history, punk rock and energy

Mopti Sevare: Good food, love their Ruben and Philly. Good drinks and a fabulous atmosphere and service... THAT BEING SAID, SOMETIMES THE MUSIC IS WAY TOO LOUD!!!! Ha sorry I had to scream cuz the song was blaring in my ears.

tromafan: FINALLY made it to Easy Street Records in West Seattle! I went to the cafe and got a breakfast burrito and my Mom got a Reuben. The food and service were excellent. The burrito came with salsa/sour cream and they have Aardvark hot sauce which was delicious.I picked up a Pearl Jam shirt and a hat. I'll definitely be going back to pick up some vinyl, the selection is phenomenal. As a kid I used to frequent the Easy Street down in Kirkland. Thank you guys for being part of my youth and still being the best music shop in the northwest.

Laura Alexandra: Great variety of CDs and records. They have cool merch and a great cafe!

Golden Oldies Records: what do users think?

Rob Siiberg: Solid content at fair prices. Don't let the crates and dust scare you from your gem!

Katie Sarno: Love this record store, they always have good records, a nice staff and a good vibe

Sl S: This store is a must visit in Seattle, great prices and selection, including new vinyl releases. Dave is an awesome guy as well!

Joon S: Great selections, I found CDs that I liked. Very helpful employee/owners finding music I was looking for.

Eric Bacon: They're living the dream. The enthusiasm for their work shows through their customer service and constant musical education, forced upon each other in what cab be described as a very gleeful "but have you heard this?" game they play back and forth. And their selection ain't bad.

Trinity Quirk: This is the place to come for vinyl. The place is just as you'd hope: jam-packed, a little difficult to move around because of all the stock, but they've got a ton of stuff, and the prices are very reasonable. I found a few things here I'd never seen anyplace else. Things are filed well, easy to browse, and man is there a lot of it. Very few current releases or modern reissues - it's mostly older pressings. Also, if you're into 7" 45s, this is definitely your place - almost half the store is devoted to singles. Also a handful of CDs, but definitely isn't the focus. One thing to note here: there are more records in boxes on the floors underneath the racks, and there may be people crouched down looking through them. Pay attention as you move around, because it really hurts to be run over by people who aren't watching where they're going. It's happened to me twice.

Kathryn Miller: Excellent selection. I was able to get a 1st edition Rumours by Fleetwood Mac album in amazing condition.

Joe: Staff was super friendly. Lots of good LP's at good prices.

Isabella Amazing: Big selection. I have an affinity for 60s teen love songs, and they had plenty for me.

Max Davis: Exceptional selection of used records. I was so happy the first time I came in and saw all of my favorite jazz artists with their own dedicated sections. I will be coming back again and again as I build my collection.

David Teckam: In a few minutes I found two records I was looking for. Pretty well organized and good prices.

Light In The Attic Record Shop: what do users think?

Antoine Saillant: Small shop. Fairly attractive prices. Very pleasant seller.

Kristina Naso: Small but mighty selection! We visited on a Thursday afternoon and the common area was filled with people hanging out and working. The staff is super sweet and friendly. I would love to go back to see a live performance.

Brian Carpenter: Super neat little shop! Lots of affordable solid options, especially psych rock and indie. The owner was very pleasant to talk to and made it a great experience for me.

kevin schramer: Ordered from this company online several times. The products are usually great. Recently one record of a two record set came with a defect. They sent out a replacement record. I did have to cancel an order once, because the delivery date kept getting pushed back and it was taking over a year to get the item... and it didn't seem like it was ever going to be made/delivered. Good service though, because everything was handled well.

Kirk Chantraine: Nice selection of records, friendly staff, and a great discount bin with new records.

Bertrand Rancourt: I got an order with them and they provide me a good and a fast service. Definitely they give a nice customer service.

Brittany Greene: Cute little record shop

Joel chico Guevara: An interesting variety/volume of vinyl for a small place

Diego Dagum (Diegum): Lots of surprises there

Aaron deValdez: One of the very few vendors who sell Black Metal and War Metal, the staff is kind, patient, knowledgeable and very personable. I give high marks for selection, prices and service.

Chas Got the Spins: Anything I could possibly want at any given time is in this store, and even when it isn't, the manager can special order it for me. What else can a record junkie ask for? If you're in Seattle to buy records, this is an essential stop.

Jacob Eckert: great selection packed in a small space, reasonably priced too!

Christine Doan: Small but mighty record shop carrying a diverse range of vinyl. It's a hidden gem tucked in a quiet corner street in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Brad was knowledgeable & engaging. Though they didn't have what i looking for in stock, he still recommended a few nearby record stores to check out, which i appreciate. We had a good conversation on music & live shows. For fans of the Everly Bros., you're in for a treat. They have many of their essential records that are hard to come by. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Riley Brock: They have a great range of prices for each genre so you are always able to find something! Love it!

BD Cummings: Good record shop with a well curated selection.

Tenebre Thirteen (Tenebre13): Great place. Always willing to suggest or find what you're looking for.

Patrick White: Spin cycle has great movies for less they sell great games for less and great staff and the owner are great people

Emmett Craig: Went there to sell some CDs. Cashier was professional and courteous. Said that staff would probably not be able to get to them until the next day. Given the time of day being close to closing time and the amount I brought, I understood. I called the next morning and the employee on the line said it would be more than likely after 4:00 pm when someone would be able to have a look at the items. They called at 5:00 p,m. I went in. Everything went smoothly. The experience was an idea for the type employee/customer experience I'd enjoy anywhere I would visit. That was however tne extent of my visit.

Stefan: Such a cool little record, games and movie store. Came here to check out the records and did not leave empty handed. Their selection was pretty good. They also have stickers!!

Vanessa Quintero: Great variety and attention

Sherry Fan: don’t let the size of this shop fool you - they have the most comprehensive collection out of all the seattle record stores i’ve been to! they manage to always have a good balance of niche and mainstream artists and keep everything in stock.

Corim Cox: Super clean and organized. I like the criterion section they have

Beau Johnson: They had Half Baked on DVD. I purchased it.

François Corneau-Tremblay: Love Spin Cycle, Jason is awesome and my friends and I got awesome anime music vinyls.

Marco Tocco: Very nostalgic and beautiful record and video game store

Ramona Marvel: I love love LOVE Spin Cycle. There is always excellent music playing. Trading and selling with them is always a joy and so so easy and honest. They also of course have a great selection of records.

Nirvana Enyo: I love coming here for movies. There are so many movies and different genre this is my got to place to buy a movie

Crystal Gale Copley: The selection for vinyls was mostly jazz, rock, country, and some oldies. It’s rare find newer artists here but there are a LOT of classics for a great price, and I ended buying 7 records. The owner was cool, he didn’t mind answering all of my questions.Just a heads up, you do have to check your bag with the cashier. Standard practice I’ve seen in multiple shops around u-district and cap hill.

Melisa Wood: Awesome! Always is. They have the best little section of $1.99 every movie. I love it! They have DVD's, VHS, Records, Tapes, CD's and more!

Manfred Phemister: Unique buying experience. Ask the knowledgeable staff and they will be able to help. Found some long sought after soundtrack on vinyl in boxes under the table on the floor

Jacob Forker: I try to come here whenever I can to pick up more CD’s, its for sure my favorite shop Ive ever been to and I’m always impressed by how much they have!!!

braintwang: Dave is great. The store is great. He gives the fairest prices on trade or 70% of that in cash. Always lots of gems to be found if you're willing to dig, and isn't that the fun of it anyway? Knowledgeable and friendly staff always ready to help you find something. Great selection of many genres. And still lots of CDs! Great store.

Andy Bean: Massive selection of records, DVDs, cassettes and more, with a pretty solid and mostly logical organization system. Owner feels like the OG owner and is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Joe Muckerman: I was in movie heaven seeing all of those movies on DVD and Blu-Ray. Best store ever

Jennifer Wujcik: Well curated music store with LOTS of CDs, DVDs, albums, VHS, 45s and cassettes - definitely something for everyone

jesus ruiz: all cool

Josh Burr: Literally just found this place by chance while walkin down the street and it was great; guy workin the counter was chill and the selection was massive.

Selector Records & Apparel: what do users think?

Richard Crowsong: Amazing selection. Very specific record store with lots of great art and cozy location. Stop in and have w chat about electronic music and go get a burger after. Even found a rare Molly Hatchet album

Vitor Bovo: Well curated selection of 12" singles for DJs. The owner is nice and very helpful. They also have some equipment. Worth a visit!

Daniel Sanchez-Aizcorbe: Went a couple years back and the record selection/quality was exceptional. The owner helped me pick out some records and was super friendly. I’ll be stopping by again next time I’m in Seattle.

Gavin Lees: What a treasure trove of vinyl - particularly for those into the outer reaches of electronic sounds. Super knowledgeable staff, and everything reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

Tai Lander: Support your local Dj/Record shop!

Charles Sekafetz: Stopped in to check out some vinyl. Interesting mix of music, techno is very prevalent. Picked up some older stuff that I wanted.

Anthony LaGuardia: Лучший выбор хаус- и техно-записей в Сиэтле, а владелец Шерман - мужчина!

Adam Loving:

Joshua Harka: A gem within the Seattle underground community. Sherman is a legend and always takes the time to chat openly and honestly with folks who visit. Hope to see this bastion of music and creativity thrive for many years to come!

I grew up with punk rocker parents and am just getting into punk music as an adult so I’m not the most knowledgeable about it so I was a little worried I would look stupid, but the gentleman who helped me was very kind and even taught me a couple of things. Soufiane: This record store in Seattle is hands down my favorite! It's so well put together. The owner always suggests the best stuff, spot-on based on what I've liked before. It's all about that 'less is more' vibe here. Plus, the records come with detailed notes, which is super helpful. Really hope this place sticks around! Huge shoutout to the owner for the awesome recommendations. I appreciate it a ton!

Nathan Miller: A small music store with a fairly light selection. It's wide open inside with loads of space to move. There are some CDs in all genres, although it's not comprehensive for any and felt weak compared to other stores in the area. Same goes for records. You won't be able to dig here for hours to find that hidden gem since they're all on the surface.

Robby Grodin: Great selection, great prices, friendly staff.

Josh Bell: Still the best, most interesting and eclectic record shop in town.

Ryan O'Sullivan: Solid

Julian A: I used to have two favourite record shops in the States. Rebel Rebel in New York which is sadly no more and Wall of Sound in Seattle. I have been coming over ,irregularly, from the UK to their emporium of records for some 15 years plus. It’s run by two partners and what I like is that their recommendation are always excellent but subtly different. One prefers a classical more funk bent where as the other prefers in my view the beauty of the lyrics. It is one of the best sites in Seattle and I hope exists for many more years.

stalking lion: Decent little record store. Kinda cramped in there.

doylesarah pal: This is one of those places that can only be characterized as, "They don't have a lot, but they have everything! "

Monica Gallagher: This place is my favorite small vinyl shop. The selection isn’t overwhelming, and the owners know- the amount of times I’ve passed by this window and made a purchase is countless. This is an essential to the vinyl community of Seattle. Please never close. This is my safe haven. Half of my collection is from here at this point.

Matthew Mendieta: These guys rock

Joshua Wiles: I didn't end up finding any records I was looking for but the shop was very well put together and organized

Sub Pop Records: what do users think?

Margueite Long: Fun place. Nice selection.

Scott Peterson: Cool vintage record store near the "C" gates in SeaTac that seems to feature PNW groups which is cool. They also have tee shirts, hats, cassettes and other unique items.

Rebecca: Nothing brings me home again like walking into this shop and hearing Fleet Foxes overhead

Keat Shankle: Pretty awesome, even for an airport store. If you’re a “music buff” you need to check it out!

Luke Day: Very friendly and helpful staff.

Brian Biviano: So cool to grab a t-shirt

Niki Vasiliadis: Super cool record label store at Sea-Tac. Good selection of vinyls and also Seattle and music based merch.

Kevin Wanamaker: Awesome selection of music and merchandise from the record label that defined the music of the '90s. Lots of CDs, vinyl, and cassette tapes from Sub Pop artist then and now. Great merch for Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Mudhoney, Sound Garden, Alice in Chains, and more. If you are a fan of Seattle music, go here and save room in your carryon to get it home. Fun pictures on the wall too for the many artists who have stopped in over the years.

Manfred Phemister: A record store within an airport! Bought some vinyl and branded clothes. Very cool...

Stefan: If you’re a Sub Pop fan, this is a store to check out. Located near the C gate in the airport. Lot of merch here. They also have stickers and gave me 2 free ones.

Matthew Morton: An absolute Seattle classic sense what feels like the early 1990s - there’s just a great cultural vibe that goes with a sub pop in The Early heavy hitters like Nirvana and Soundgarden- if you can get here do it

Gordon Mitchell: What a great, unique, funky shop. A nice change to your typical “ho-hum” shops in an airport! A must visit for anyone interested in music & Seattle music specifically.

Ian: Cute record store that’s very genre specific! Got a great variety of merchandise and stuff to look at!

Aug Stone: Awesome shop! I'd heard about this record store run by a label I love in SeaTac airport for years and it did not disappoint. Great selection of vinyl, cds, books, shirts, and other merch. Friendly, helpful staff. Looking forward to visiting again

Holy Cow Records: what do users think?

Hope Christie: Lots of variate , very cozy and perfect for shopping on a chilly day in Seattle! Must stop if your a vinyl fan 🤘

Kelvin Ng: Holy Cow Records @ Seattle 🐮 have very good selection of LPs and Vinyl Records. Owner was pleasant, helpful and friendly. The store at the lower level of Pike Public Market! Spent 2 good hours searching for LPs..Bought 12 pieces in total over 2 afternoon visits! music is beautiful 🎧🎶

Hammond H: Excellent customer service. Great store.

Jeff DePew: Good selection of records. The store is on the lower level so you can't see it from the street. Worth the search, though.

Pete Freeman: Had a fun time flipping through the stacks and chatting with the owner. Records were fairly priced and clean. Be sure to go all the way to the bottom of the market!

Steve Sque: The service was excellent. It’s mostly classic rock and they suggested many artists to research. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. However, the google map locates incorrectly. The shop in underground so with all the construction work and maintenance and tourists -you must be patient

Chelsea Vancouver: Ok selection and ok prices. Sadly no electronic.

Frederice Latchman: I will be back very soon

Joe L: Cool guy couldn’t pull the tigger on rumors 62 BUCKS but nice vinyl shop

Joe Perruccio: Wide selection, decently priced. It’s been there since the late 90s, and the owner is an interesting guy to chat with.

Wylie S: Chill atmosphere

Porchlight Coffee & Records: what do users think?

Nathan Geldner: Well executed shot of espresso in my cortado. Buttery mouthfeel and well balanced extraction. Not ambitious from a 3rd wave perspective but that's fair.

carolina uribe: For the last two years we’ve been regulars, we always get the hazelnut latte with oat milk. Highly recommend!! They have the coolest artwork for sale as well. We always get compliments on one of the pieces we framed!

Lauren Abuouf: Amazing coffee and even better people! I always feel welcome when I come here -- the baristas are all super friendly! In addition to coffee & pastries you'd expect to find at a coffee shop, Porchlight also features vintage posters for sale as well as locally made goods designed by the owner, Zack. There's also a record selection in the back that adds a cool vibe to the place.Oh and you can do work here too! This is the only coffee shop where I can do work and not use my headphones because the music is always on point. Must-visit for coffee/music enthusiasts seeking a delightful and inviting experience, good tunes, and a great cup of coffee!

River Heard: Very friendly place. A walk from our Airbnb and great coffee!

Reegis Coburn: Cute place. Tasty cold brew. Friendly staff.

Andrew Bowyer: are great. If you’re ever in the area, you have to stop by.

Justin Oaksford: . The designs and merch are also amazing, and they have a loyalty punch card Anyways, definitely stop by for a cappuccino or latte.

Anne: Efficient and friendly - thanks!
