General Assembly Seattle: what do users think?

Marcel N: I've just taken intro classes in my spare time over a couple years. Love the business model that General Assembly has! The intro classes are very in depth for a short session. I just came from the cannabis panel they hosted and I'm shocked nobody took advantage of this profession event! When I finish my college degree, I'd very much like to take on the full classes at GA

Anastasia Tavare: free info sessions to get to know the curriculum and people there. I wasn't disappointed at all. Check out their info session or networking events, even if you don't think you need to attend the classes they offer. Honestly, anyone can get at least something out of any event the GA puts on. Get your learning on and check out an event!!!

Helen Ell Tran: They have free introduction to classes at night time and hosted the Google Sprint here. It was great.

Tint School of Makeup & Cosmetology - Seattle: what do users think?

Halle Banks: I am a recent graduate from home of tint and this was my first family after a rough past in my life My favorite director really understood my learning style cause I have Austim i’m bumped that I didn’t get to go on any fieldS trip cause of COVID but when COVID starts rolling out the field trips will be wonderful I was very satisfied the staff were the best you can’t beat the amazing people theirs love, understanding ,support they want you to be successful in what ever it is you do.

Kamal605 Madbar: I'm a new Tint graduate and I gotta say I was unable to have requested a superior encounter. I'm so cheerful and thankful for the training and information I've gotten here. The one thing that helped me the most just as different understudies is the individualized consideration regarding every understudy's schooling that the instructors give. It comes from an authentic consideration and need to see you prevail in this industry and that is something I believe I was unable to have gotten elsewhere. The systems administration openings here also are unending and something to truly exploit while you're here and surprisingly after graduation. I'm so energetic about all that I've learned here and I have only love and reverence for this school and all its staff.

I’m still able to hit up any of this when I need advice about anything. They take covid seriously there. Mask up and covid sanitation EVERY hour and covid meetings once a week. They really encourage there students to give nothing less than their full effort they won’t let you fail. All the module teachers were amazing to work with and they have a passion that is just so infectious. Emily Batterberry: I graduated from Tint in July 2020! Let me start with, I can’t say enough good things about Tint, the educators & staff! I looked around at a few different makeup programs in Washington, and when I visited Tint and met Manhal and some of the other staff..I was sold! Learning about their program and what they offered, I knew I was going to get more than I ever dreamed of! Their makeup program is absolute perfection! There is such a variety of makeup styles/techniques that’ll you learn, from beauty, stage, spfx, runaway, bridal, HD, and so much more! You’re going to learn it all! Kit building, sanitation, all aspects of makeup, working with hairstylist, photographers, on set etiquette, building your brand/website, and so on!The educators/staff are the true beauty of Tint in my opinion. Everyone’s learning style is different and they make it possible to learn/understand everything their teaching you. They work hard to improve each person skills and do it in ways that’s most beneficial for the each student that comes through their doors. And I can honestly say they care deeply about their students. Every single teacher that I encountered with at Tint changed my life, made me grow as an artist, and has helped me gain the skills and confidence to be an AMAZING makeup artist/business woman!Tint really opens the door to the makeup world! Through the program I’ve met many makeup artists in all different fields, hairstylist, and photographers as well! They really help you to meet people within the industry and get you to start building those connections for your future!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TINT! By far one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself and for my career!

Ellie Wilson: Very pleased with my education at Tint School of Makeup and Cosmetology. It has allowed me to expand my talents and explore areas of makeup I never had. Plus it gives you much needed experience.I loved that the teaching staff was comprised of actual working makeup artists from all backgrounds and specialties. This is definitely a school for those wanting an actual career in makeup artistry. It’s a lot of work and frustration but it will make you better and prepared! The school also did phenomenal on COVID safety. I was able to learn top-notch sanitation measures that are now second nature. A big PLUS for professionalism.

Hannah Evenson: I recently graduated from the cosmetology program and had a great experience while I was enrolled. All of the staff are hands on and eager to teach you everything they know about differebt techniques and working working in the industry itself. I grew so much as an artist while attending and cant thank the staff enough for being great mentors and supporting me!

Courtney McBride: I just graduated from Tint’s cosmetology program. The staff is professional and passionate about educating the next generation of the beauty industry. I received an education beyond just the technical knowledge applicable to beauty, but also in business skills as well as expanding my view of what directions I could take my career in this industry. The staff and director helped support me in landing an incredible job opportunity even during the struggles of this industry during a pandemic. There were many adjustments to the curriculum during the COVID19 pandemic, including online education and extra sanitary caution. I feel ready to pass the State Boards exam and start a new career.

Marisa Gonzalez: I am a recent graduate of Tint’s cosmetology program. Looking back on my experience at Tint, I definitely think the best thing about it was the staff/owners. They really do care about you and your education and will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. Hannah and Shayla bent over backwards to teach everyone anything they needed or wanted to know more about. Overall was a great experience and I am glad I chose this school.

South Seattle College: what do users think?

The InternetKing: Had a workshop there and the lunch food was great slso!!!

Danny Tram: 06/18/23: South Seattle College is a great college with a spacious educational environment and experienced faculties. I live on their campus with many trees and plants, especially their beautiful and gorgeous Arboretum and Seattle Chinese Garden. I would recommend these two famous locations to anyone

Dante Lopez: We learn each day .more and more coming to are class.in person or at zoom…

Vincent Rowland: These days dog walking around the college is starting to feel a little less surreal when the pandemic started a year ago it was so still it was hard to shake the eerie post apocalyptic feeling I would get passing through but while still mostly shut down there are signs of normalcy returning, buses running, ongoing construction nearly complete and it appears some classes have resumed? There are more cars in the parking lots but certainly not back to pre pandemic levels. A year later now July 22 and the new auto shop appears complete. As does the atheltic center which has outdoor table tennis tables!

Peter Makosi: Nice well designed school well equipped for students success

Michael Anderson: Exceptional! Fellow Collegians. The new and improved laptop sleeves have arrived.Take a look for yourselves. Order now and they're delivered directly to you within days, with all this national kaos going on I felt it was necessary to share this item with the community. p4pSeattle.org

Gordon Adams: By far the best college in SW Seattle, not even close

Flatiron School: what do users think?

Kamal605 Madbar: . Every mod shows exceptionally significant abilities in the Software Engineering industry. Also, in my pursuit of employment, I discovered numerous chances where my new abilities were regularly in the required or favored abilities segment of sets of responsibilities. Being a Flatiron understudy requires devotion and difficult work, yet I guarantee it's totally awesome! Flatiron additionally has adjusted to virtual adapting extraordinarily well and makes a solid local area among accomplices. I created solid associations with my partner mates and have worked with a considerable lot of them on projects post-graduation. Discussing post-graduation, Flatiron offers individualized week after week profession advising that has been important during my pursuit of employment.

Dana Jackson: I attended the 15 week intensive full time software engineering bootcamp at Flatiron. I was part of the Seattle cohort, but because of Covid-19 the program was conducted entirely online. I thought that would be a drawback but it ended up being great. With no commuting I had more time to dedicate to coding and I was able to fit in a few more to-do's each day, like going for a run or getting an errand done. This program is an amazing way to learn a new skill very quickly. The structure of the program is excellent, and allows for self motivated learning but also provides a lot of much needed direction. I came from the performing arts so I was afraid I would be a fish out of water, but I had no trouble jumping right into the new material. My instructors were truly top tier educators, and really cared about my success. I cant say enough positive things about my experience at Flatiron. I feel it gave me the boost I needed to change my life and launch into a new career with confidence and momentum.

Matthew Sedlacek: . Each mod teaches very relevant skills in the Software Engineering industry. Moreover, in my job search, I found many opportunities where my new skills were often in the required or preferred skills section of job descriptions. Being a Flatiron student requires dedication and hard work, but I promise it’s absolutely worth it! Flatiron also has adapted to virtual learning exceptionally well and creates a strong community among cohorts. I developed strong connections to my cohort mates and have worked with many of them on projects post-graduation. Speaking of post-graduation, Flatiron offers individualized weekly career counseling that has been invaluable during my job search.

Margarita Morozova: I graduated from Flatiron School's software engineering immersive program in December 2020. Due to pandemic the program transitioned from on-campus to remote learning. We had to be on Zoom every day 9 to 6. Our day would start with a group discussion summarizing yesterdays lessons, we would then move on to pair-programming, then there would be a lecture and then we would finish the day with working on labs.I came to the bootcamp with zero programing knowledge and in four months graduated as a full-stack developer totally confident in what I've learnt. Honestly I was a bit skeptical before I've started this program, I couldn't understand how one can learn so much in such a short time. But the program is super intense and the curriculum requires you to learn and practice new concepts every single day. Every new skill you are taught comes with it's own labs which require you to use the skill until it becomes second nature. I like that Flatiron teaches you not only specific languages and frameworks, but they teach you how to learn, which is a great skill to have in life in general and certainly an important skill for a software developer.A word about instructors; the instructors we had were top-notch, super knowledgeable and helpful, and could explain complex, unfamiliar technical concepts in a way which anyone could understand. Our instructors were super supportive and they motivated us to keep going. The school's support does not end at graduation. Everyone is assigned a career coach who supports you for next 6 months and helps you during your job search.

Steven Parsons: . I worked 50-60 hours per week, doing a bit of extra practice outside of the curriculum. I finished at the end of July. I spent the following 2 months working 40-50 hours per week on my job search, practicing for interviews, and studying. I applied to over 200 jobs. At the beginning of October, after a 2-3 week application process, I accepted an incredible offer to join J.P. Morgan as an entry level Software Engineer on the other side of the country

Alec DuBois: Attending Flatiron School has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life. The instructors, staff, and coaches are knowledgeable, attentive, and really care about the success of the students. Each module was like being plugged into the Matrix for a few weeks and then waking up like, "I know Rails." It takes skill to pull off teaching at this pace with this kind of quality, and Flatiron pulls it off.

Eli Tooloee: Attending Flatiron School is the best decision I've ever made. The instructors did a much better job teaching than university CS professors ever did, and they seemed to legitimately care about students in a way universities don't. Probably because Flatiron is actually dependent on you getting a job after graduation. The curriculum is also good, with high quality lessons and exercises, not at all like the horrible materials used in many CS courses. The only warning I'd give is be ready to work hard. Your brain will be tired. I got through a college STEM degree putting in about 40% effort, but that will not work at Flatiron. You cover so much material so fast that you can't afford to fall behind. If you're ready for that and they accept you, sign up ASAP. You'll be upper middle class by this time next year.

Don Mallory: The instructors and curriculum are perfectly suited to folks from all walks of life and experience levels. They ensure every student has the support they need to succeed in the program.

Andy del Valle: I couldn't have asked for a better experience! All the instructors and peers were all friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Flatiron School to anyone wanting to start a new career in software engineering.

Alex Borst: You put in the work, and you get the results. It's as easy as that. Good luck to all future career changers.

Andrew Matheny: I attended Flatiron back in October 2019 and it was a fantastic experience. The teachers were very knowledgeable and I learned a ton. They really prepared me for my first job in tech. The campus is also very nice and I got to meet and work with a lot of fantastic people.

Scott Slatton (Crossmine): .From my experience at Flatiron my wife also decided to pursue software development but due to COVID has had to go through Flatiron's online course. I will say that from seeing her work schedule it is just as great as the in-person course that I went through so I would highly recommend it if the campus is still closed when you are reading this.

Washington Beauty School: what do users think?

Fancypants (Xixlo): I've been coming here for years, couldn't recommend the place more. I pay a 3rd of what it'd cost to get my hair cut anywhere else in the area here. It's a school for people to learn how to cut hair. The students pay attention when they're cutting, they want to do their best and their work shows it.The instructor has always been so kind and nice, if I had the desire to take hair cutting lessons, I would go to this school. Hands down, no questions about it.

P Rev: Excellent school to attend if you are trying to get your career on track Mrs.Trinh is the most compassionate and caring teacher there is in this beauty industry she truly cares and wants to see you make it.I STRONGLY suggest enrolling as soon as you can!!

Divers Institute of Technology: what do users think?

W D: This place changed my life, the teachers and staff are great.Found a really good friend that helps run the school still and i still continue to learn and dive with the help of the school.Would not be where i am if it wasn't for d.i.t.

Brandon Plutino: Becoming a commercial diver was a dream of mine for ages. Prior Navy and lover of the ocean i left Texas and traveled to Seattle to attend DIT, which I have always known to be the top tier dive school in the USA. When I arrived, I was impressed by the seasoned dive instructors' knowledge in the trade, their willingness to share their love of the industry, and professionalism in doing so. They offer in-depth and hand's on training in many facets regarding underwater operations as well as operations topside. One of the more rewarding things I gained from DIT were from the first month. Medicine and physics. The less hand's on part of the course but absolutely necessary and important. Since attending DIT I have had to use what i learned in the first month of medicine and life-saving procedures in a real-life emergency situation when a fellow diver had an unforseen malfunction. Fortunately the in depth training prompted me, without hesitation to act quickly and retrieve the diver, evaluate condition and perform necessary life saving procedures in time to send him home safely to his family. Had it not been for the training from these top dive instructors the day could have been tragic. Between all of the schools to choose from, I'm glad to have chosen DIT and proud to have been a student. Thank you kindly DITMel's Angels 😇 😉

Ethan MacKAy: Looks great. But for that one review about the dude that was a diver and is now disabled. I'm not sure how safe it would be to be underwater doing commercial diving when you can't even walk.

Tina Hoffman: . She is the admissions officer and if you are thinking about commercial diving school and need help getting started with the Q and A...call Michelle! My son attended DIT last year and it was a tough transition. He was only 20 years old and moved 3000 miles away from ALL of his family and friends. He flew out to Seattle, unaccompanied, and I was frantic...barely moderately sane over him leaving home.I called Michelle. And I called her and called her and called her... She checked on my son and made sure my questions were answered. Eventually, the helicopter flew only over my son on Sunday nights when I sent Grub Hub.My son graduated in late January and we set out for a week long road trip of the Pacific Northwest. Two days in,

Nicholas Dougherty: Best dive school around. I had an absolute blast here.

Brandon Blueback: I’ve never been but I’m open water dry suit nitrox computer and surface supplied air and cpr&aed certified. And I already did my fasfa and it said I’m basically approved question is do you guys accept disabled people. In November I had back surgery I’m relearning how to walk everything is back besides my function of my right foot makes it a challenge to walk will that effect you guys accepting me?

Ethan Spang: Excellent school. Going through DIT I was very impressed with the safety standards set by the instructors, along with the care and constant upkeep and maintenance of all the equipment. Not only did they show interest in your well being and success at the school, there were daily post-meetings with the instructors and they would check in with students to see how they were doing out of school with stuff like living, food, and mental health. There was a lot of dive time and unlimited resources/tutors to help with school work. There were so many job offers a month before our class even graduated. I was able to keep a job to support myself fully while going to school. With my experience at DIT, I wouldn't want to have picked anywhere else to get my training.

Angela Jackson: Great school, my son had an amazing experience

Nathan “Nate” Underwaterguy: I graduated from this institution of higher learning over a decade ago. I would not be in the position that I'm in now without this school of commercial diving. My career started HERE!

Mcx Cxaxve: This training is outstanding. The instructors are world class divers. JP, Frank, and Willy are Navy legends. The staff are there to help you succeed. International certification and standards that rival the US Navy. Completing this course was one of the best times of my life.

MinoThe Goddess (MinoTheGoddess): then I wouldn’t ever regret my decision . This will be the best choice you make I can guarantee that. ♥️ So if you’re looking through the reviews to help you decide on DIT, this is me saying , take the leap and become apart of the family!

Ellis Johnson: I'm a student
