Waterways Cruises and Events: what do users think?

Rachel Young: .

Kendra S.: Loved it! Going back first chance that I get.

Brock Neely: Went on a dinner cruise with my wife Saturday evening. Our only complaint were the steaks. It was cooked medium rare but very tough. Both of ours was. Everything else was great. The setting, service, and taste of the rest of the food were fantastic. May have been a one off and more about the cut of meet they had. I’d go again and give it another shot. I’ll probably my order salmon next time though.

Alissa Taylor: I Enjoyed the Valentine Cruise. Very accommodating and Friendly staff. Would definitely go on another cruise.

sam Debarl: Great place for celebrating anniversaries, date nights 🌙.. staff were friendly, and the service was dope 👌 🙌

Dan Traurig: Great tour, I recommend this for anyone visiting Seattle

Sharon Weiss: The dinner and dessert was absolutely delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately the DJ only played rap music and when I asked him to play Auld lang syne at midnight he said he could but didn’t. Very disappointing. Love waterways cruise’s and will continue to book with them just not on New Year’s Eve again.

Candere Cruising: what do users think?

Morgan Sarafin: I booked a sunset cruise with Captain Russ as my fiancés birthday present, and had the best time. Captain Russ was friendly and informative as he answered our questions about the boat and about the Pudget Sound. We were onboard the Kingsley, and found it very comfortable, with a bathroom and plenty of seating. Captain Russell was able to show us a stunning sunset. I really appreciate his friendliness and expertise! 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in having a nautical adventure in Washington!

Shane Chandler: Incredible experience! Way better than the massive tour boats run by large companies that talk to you through an intercom system. This guy knows his stuff, is a local living at the marina and has a very personalized and private boat experience. Drinks on board and everything you need for a relaxing day on the water. My wife and I loved it, highly recommend!

Jeremy Moss: My group had a fantastic experience on our sunset sail with captain Dylan. He was personable and knowledgeable and we had a great time cruising the Puget sound. It was my wife’s birthday and she had a blast.

Maria Fern: I had the pleasure of going on a sunset cruise to celebrate my birthday and captain Dylan was our captain for the evening. He made the experience extra special by sharing stories with us and answering all our questions about sailing and many other things. The boat we were on was perfect for us to enjoy the cruise and have dinner and drinks in total comfort. I highly recommend Candere cruising and I’m looking forward to our next adventure with them.

David Woosley: What a wonderful way to experience Seattle. If you are interested in a small boat experience, with a true local feeling, this is absolutely perfect!

Taylor Stevens: We had a great time! Dylan was full of fun facts and made the ride relaxing and memorable.

Chuck Bradshaw: We took a private two hour cruise on Union Lake, with Genevieve as our captain. We had an absolutely delightful time. Union Lake is fascinating place. Genevieve is a wonderful guide who lives on the lake and can share information and history as only a true local can do. We recommend this tour enthusiastically.

Dawn Maasch: We had a wonderful time on our 3 hour private sunset cruise with Captain Russ. It was a beautiful evening!

Linda Thesing: We went on a 2 hour private cruise this evening and I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed it! Our captain was Dave, who we really enjoyed talking to. Besides telling us about some of the sights we were seeing, he was interesting, warm, and friendly. It was certainly one of the highlights of our vacation. Thank you, Dave, for a fun afternoon- we would recommend this cruise to anyone!Gery and Linda Thesing

Roger Lorenze: We had a great time. Captain Dave was knowledgeable and a great guy. Thank you.

Gale Soukup: Fantastic company! Had a Great two hour cruise today. I called because we had a little trouble finding them thanks to road construction & they were kind enough to come to the street and wave us in! Our Capt as Dylan McCoy. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating & had a great sense of humor! Highly recommended!!

Kelsey Murphy: . We would book again in a heartbeat!

Megan Jackson: Great experience! Fun for a family of all ages. Captain Russ was very friendly and regaled us with his many sea adventures while we enjoyed a relaxing sail around the Puget Sound. He went out of his way to find marine life for the kids in our group. We'd definitely recommend this to anyone and anticipate going again.

Shianne Paynter: . The boat was lovely to be on, it nearly rocked me to sleep on the way back to the dock.If you want to book your sailing trip, go straight to the Candere Cruising website, it’s cheaper.

Trevin Williams: Had an incredible time Learning about the real estate and the history of Union lake. It was such a great time. I can’t wait to go again! Highly recommended!! Shoutout to Captain Curt! 🤘🏽

Dawn Coyne: This was an amazing tour. Super intimate and just wonderful!

Amy Ijams: Cap'n Dylan and his trusty water steed.... what a gem! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed Dylan's smooth, easy 2 hr cruise around Lake Union, learning about houseboat culture and many amazing luxury yachts. Dylan was a great host with a fully stocked bar and loads of local information to share. Communication leading up the tour was thorough and clear...Would book again!

hkbundle: Captain Dylan was very friendly and amicable! He made the time fly by with his stories and historical anecdotes!

Boat Bar: what do users think?

Jimmy Feng: Visited Boat Bar on our day trip to Seattle and the food definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is well decorated and has a relatively casual vibe, considering the price point. They have a small kitchen, so food is served as they are ready like tapa style. The highlight for us was definitely the vanilla clams and the beef tartar perfect balance of flavours and fresh ingredients. The only downfall was servers seemed a bit overwhelmed, but still well composed. The server for our table changed a few times, but hand over was a bit rocky. It was hard to flag a server, so we forgoed an extra bottle of wine since we were almost done with all our food by the time we got a hold of one.Overall, decent experience and great food maybe just a bit optimization required on the operational front.

Karina Annerose Mertin: Fantastic fresh local oysters, we had Pickering Passage, Aphrodite, Summerstone with a glas of natural sparkling Jerémi Huchet Melon. The Dungeness Crab Doughnut, Steak Tartare and Smoked Scallops were great, however the portions could be a bit bigger and the Crab Doughnut could use some salad. Our dessert, the Boat Bread Pudding, was a little disappointing, far too gooey and not satisfying. All in all, a nice dinner in a lovely interior, a bit French bistro style with charming service.

Joe Hicks: . Also, the restaurants are always a little cold. This might be nice in the summer, but usually I can never shake the cold when I am at these restaurants

Ray's Boathouse: what do users think?

Ralf Alexander Maier: Delicious fish and waterfront dining. The place to be.

Christine Cooper: Fantastic food and wonderful settingRecommended dishes Oysters on the Half Shell with Mignonette Sauce, Dungeness Crab Cakes …

Karan Verma: Great Easter brunch.

Tom Elwood: Upstairs is busy, no reservations, was full at 5 pm. Staff obviously work hard and are efficient and pleasant. The beet salad with citrus was particularly colorful, flavorful and fresh - I hope it makes it onto the regular menu. The King Salmon with beurre blanc was filling and perfectly cooked and deliciously fresh. So were the scallops. The "Smokey Jim" lime and bitters was pleasant with a complex flavor that complimented the seafood. The decor doesn't look like it's changed for 40 years, but the view is a really pleasant panorama of Puget sound, so you're not looking at the decor much anyways.

Six Seven restaurant: what do users think?

ArcAngel: Beautiful view, delicious coffee and delightful staff. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was charming. Not too pricey either!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options on their breakfast menu such as waffles, french toast, bagels, parfait, omelets and pastries!!

Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

Jay X.: , she forgot about us again and never came to pick it back up. At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

Jules Chapman Sin: This amazing restaurant looks over a marina on Lake Union and boasts amazing views of the lake. The wait staff is courteous and friendly, punctual without being overbearing. I specifically went to see if you could get vegan food at this primarily seafood restaurant. Indeed, you can! There weren't many options for vegan, but their vegan stew was simply amazing!Vegetarian options: There aren't many, unless you are settling for salad, but their vegan stew is top notch!

Boat Tours Seattle: what do users think?

Rhoda Capron: Dorin hosted and conducted a wonderful tour of Lake Union this past June . Drawing on his vast knowledge of the boat and the lake, he is happy to share this information to those who are interested. The boat is beautiful and comfortable. We liked being able to bring our own food and beverages. A great experience.

Elise Lane: Great tour, funny guide who gave lots of historical detail along with little interesting stories about the places you see. Good value for money.

shreyas murali: Totally worth it!

Deon Gibson: This tour allows you to get some nice pictures of the skyline. They are also very detailed with the history and make it interactive by asking you questions. It was fun and worth what we paid. I just could not stay outside because rain and cold are my kryponite...lol

Natalie Marvin: What an incredible afternoon sailing around Lake Union. Captain Derek is such a sweet guy, really knowledgeable about the area and great to chat with. We can’t wait for our next visit to Seattle just so we can do another boat ride. Highly recommend! And seriously one of the most fun things we did while visiting the area.

Creighton Wright: Derek provided such an amazing sailing trip out on the water and made me feel as if I was part of his family. It was such a nice and relaxing trip around Lake Union. I would definitely recommend his tour to my friends and family because it ended up being such a great experience.

Gene Skoch: Captain Derek was a wonderful host. My wife and I really enjoyed our sail on the Endeavor around Lake Union. If you are visiting Seattle don't miss the opportunity to have quiet time on the lake where you can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy life!

Jess Salmon: The Endeavor was a sailboat experience to remember. Captain Derek made us all feel welcome, safe, and ensured we had a good time. He sailed us through Lake Union & Lake Washington, and was knowledgeable about the area, and answered whatever questions we had. His friendly & calm personality put us at ease immediately. We’ll be back again derek!!

Neil Taylor: We had such a great time on the water with Captain Derek. Such a fun way to experience Seattle. Highly recommend!

Paul Shingleton: Being from the east coast, riding with Derek was amazing!! Being out on the calm waters looking at the city was so relaxing, great views!

Carly Benhaim: My weekend trip on the Endeavor was just the mini adventure I needed to recooperate from life as a desk jockey. We went to Lake Washington and felt far from the din of the city within an hour. Captain Derek is the grizzled, charming sailor of your dreams, sailing expertly and creating a relaxed atmosphere that was just what the doctor ordered. I can’t wait to take an even longer tour and would recommend Boat Tours Seattle to anyone!

Steve Krug: I’ve gone on two cruises with Captain Derek. One was a 4th of July day cruise and the other was an overnight cruise to Port Townsend. We had a great time on both! It’s customizable for whatever you’d like to do or see, and the crew is fun, knowledgeable, and safe. If you want to sail around the greater Seattle area I’d definitely recommend Boat Tours Seattle.

Canlis: what do users think?

jake devlin: A phenomenal experience and an absolutely must do if you are looking for fine dining in the area. Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.

Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

Girish Shekhar: On my first visit to a fine dining establishment in Seattle, I was treated to a truly exceptional experience. Despite the set menu, the staff graciously accommodated our requests, showcasing their dedication to personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the valet and welcoming staff set the tone for a memorable evening. Each expertly prepared course was a masterful fusion of rich flavors, with every bite a testament to the chef's culinary artistry. The entire experience was a symphony of warmth, elegance, and gastronomic delight.Note : This is not a traditional dining experience in Seattle so make sure to dress up with suits, sport coat and dresses.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian set menu.

Chris Roach: Absolutely incredible dining experience. Was fortunate enough to attend a dinner lecture series in the upstairs section. Some of the most delicate and delicious cuisine I have ever had. Most amazing salmon I have ever tasted.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very considerate and careful to ask about dietary restrictions and offered vegetarian/options for their set menu

James Edward:

Bobby T: . However, the rest of my experience was amazing. Our server, Chrissy, was unlike any I've ever encountered. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and detailed in explaining how each dish was prepared. It was an unbelievable experience, and if you visit, make sure to ask for her. She will give you a dining experience like no other. The highlight of my visit was definitely her service. The food was outstanding. We tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, and the mimosas, which came in different flavors and were delightful. The salmon was incredibly flavorful, and the appetizers were amazing. Every aspect of my dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning.A special thanks to Chrissy for her phenomenal service and for creating such a wonderful experience for us. She truly elevated the art of serving to a whole new level. I would also like to mention the manager who came to our table; it was a nice touch. Overall, I would give this place 10 stars because five stars are simply not enough for this exceptional restaurant.

Will Oberst: Superb wedding venue, great for all weather conditions

Mary Wynn: 30 years ago, minus 2 days, we had our wedding reception at Saltys. We stopped by today on our way home from a night in Seattle and decided to swing through West Seattle. Randomly, we thought we would step into Saltys for some random skyline photos, then it dawned on us..our anniversary was 2 days away. We had not planned on staying but they were so great and we thought it was very nostalgic. Mara the manager treated us like royalty. She sprinkled the table with rose petals, gave us a signed staff congratulations card, drinks on the house, cake to die for and John F, the server was a top notch professional. There is a reason we had spent so much time there through the years, but this day was over the top special and the staff sealed the deal. We have been away too long. One of the photos was from 30 years ago. Thank you John F and Mara.

Andy Derscheid: Always a great experience here, for locals and tourists alike. You can't beat the view and the service, and the food and presentation match its quality. Plenty of fresh seafood and excellent steaks. Definitely get the seafood chowder no matter what you order. Solid cocktails and truly top notch service. All in all a fantastic experience.Parking: There is on-site parking but the spots are small, so leave the full size trucks at home.

akain: JAY FROM ENHYPEN RECOMMENDED THIS‼️👀

Emerson Butler: and was so knowledgeable and friendly! Our waitress, Megan, was attentive, made fantastic recommendations, and just provided some of the best service we have ever had.Even Benny the busboy was right on time to clear our appetizer plates and other dishes! If your busboy has made it into my review you have really made good hiring choices!!And that’s just the people. The FOOD. The food was to die for. To start we got the Thai chili prawns, and the moved on to a crab-stuffed sturgeon and a halibut with mushroom risotto. To finish up we got a crème brûlée and the delicious cake you can see in the photos

Kennedy Farmer: This is my first review I’ve ever left because it was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and all the staff there made it feel so special! The food and views were great, I highly recommend the crab stuffed steelhead! Our server Ignacio was super friendly and patient when we were being indecisive about how to start our orders. This is a great place to go for a special occasion, we will definitely be returning!

Billy Xia: 5 star view and 3 star food. A solid 4 star seafood restaurant overall. The seafood was fresh but nothing stood out. Definitely on the pricey side but you are there for the view.Note: Not vegan / vegetarian friendly.

Jennifer Park: and were initially denied a table because the hostess said there was a 40-45min wait even though I saw few empty tables

FoodAddict: We had a delightful experience at Elliott’s Oyster house. Our server, William, was attentive and prompt. Crab cake, clam chowder, halibut, pan fried pacific oysters, scallops and seafood pasta were all delicious. An Automatic 20% service charge was included on our check for a party of 4.“A service charge of 20% is included on your check. Tips are not expected but graciously accepted and retained by your server. Commissions are paid to our teams as a part of their compensation. The 20% service charge is 100% retained by the company. WA state law requires that we collect tax on all service charges.”

Michael Mahoney: Good food BUT sure wasn’t worth the price. Even though the food was good it was very pricey. Our server was Luna and she was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. Guided us through the menu and all the offerings. Our bill for drinks and food was $250 they tack on 20% to the bill it doesn’t go to the servers. The servers are on commission so I really hope they have a good base salary. Would we go again no because of the price and the food.

Chris Joyce: Daniel’s Broiler is conveniently located right at the marina overlooking south Lake Union. After visiting the MOHAI museum and the Center of Wooden Boats museum, a drink and dinner is in order at Daniel’s. While this place is a swanky classy steakhouse, as them for their secret vegan menu which always features rotating dishes. Today’s choice was the ravioli and the portions were HUGE and delicious! Sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive

Trix Lee-Rainwater: . It was very flavorful, the scallops were good
