Sylvia: Food was delicious, fairly priced for quality. Service was delightful. Atmosphere was as needed. The dim lighting and soft music creates quiet intimate moments. Truly a hidden treasure, this place. Don't miss out.Left to right: Eggs Benedict, House-made Granola with Yogurt, Sides of Herbed Roasted Potatoes & Bacon.

Kyle “AcidRayne” Timmons: Great place for stopping after a hard day of work. Claire was an absolute gem. She served us and literally put up me asking so many questions.I had the duck and it was just as good a five sales in Vancouver BC. Just amazing. And here is the green drink I asked for. We call it the Ben 10. Ask for it today too!

Henry SooHoo: Service was very friendly and speedy. The servers were patient and answered questions we had about the options as well as attentive about refilling beverages. The food itself was decent but I would not say special. The Turkish apricot waffles were novel but too sweet in my opinion. Even forgoing the syrup, I struggled to eat the last few saccharine bites.

Michael Williams: The service provided by the gentleman, was as good as the dish! The best, most creative rendition of lox on toast that I have had. The ricotta was a revelation. The jammy hard oiled eggs perfect. Giant YUM.Vegetarian options: The lox is terrific; you can substitute non-meat in place of

STEVE CUMMINGS: Everything was perfect. from the complimentary valet parking to the post-WW II dark wooden interior We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the service was just excellent. Attentive, but not pushy or robotic. For a hotel restaurant, prices were reasonable. Best part of our experience was the welcoming notice at the bottom of a real menu asking us not to use electronic devices or cell phones. Everyplace should have such a polite request highlighted. I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.

Swanky Christy: . Service was very good, chef came and talk to us as well as a restaurant manager and we shared our feedback. Overall we had a good experience here and as a downtown locals we will consider this restaurant when we want nice Mediterranean cuisine.

Jennifer H: Was such an awesome class! Chef shad was fantastic and the food was great.

Karen Wheless: Very fun. Chef Peter had lots of info to share. The ramen was delicious-be sure to come hungry!

Emma Bankson: We had an amazing time! Great date with your partner or friends. Learned so much from weighing flour vs measuring when making fresh pasta dough, knife skills, and more. Our chef was absolutely amazing as well. We will be taking another class for sure.

Madeleine Farias: Loved Chef Mary! She has great skills to impart and we definitely left the class with new skills of our own. She is funny and easy to chat with, and very encouraging throughout the whole cooking process. Thank you, Chef Mary!

Becky Scott: Chef Unika was very organized & a relaxed teacher. The food was delicious. We had a fun family evening.

Emily Bowden: We went into this class with few expectations, and Chef Mary exceeded all of them! She is very knowledgeable and super fun - you're basically getting dinner and a show. I would say this class is more of a group class geared towards newer chefs, but my boyfriend and I still learned some new skills to add to our repertoire. The class was intimate and fun and the food was delicious. Would definitely take another class with Chef Mary!

Julia Lovelace-Johnson: We had an excellent experience! The chef was friendly, knowledgeable and funny.

James Argento: Class was great. It was small and personal with just two others. Chef Mary was personable and very instrutive. The food we helped prepare was excellent.

Michael Bailey: This cooking class was a lot of fun. Mary was a great instructor and made the class fun!! I highly recommend this class 😀

Mary Ann Lambert: Chef Mary was so enjoyable and funny! We loved this class.

Ginna Cuadra: Lovely time, delicious dinner! 😊

Suzanne Lindsay: This was such a special experience! We learned so much about how to make sushi, but also the ingredients themselves, and the restaurant industry and enjoyed such good company at the table of Chef. Highly recommend Chef Shinya's courses!

Terra Plata: what do users think?

Felicity Watson: Beautiful food, beautiful service!I went here for my 21st birthday and it was amazing. It’s a more communal type restaurant where the whole table orders for each other so we all got a taste. I would definitely recommend the risotto it was perfect! The view was so pretty but the tables were a little cramped in.

Nikki Ryu Kitagaito: This is my go to place for a nice dinner / evening out. Terra Plata is fabulous food and the outdoor patio is such a great vibe. The food never disappoints!I love how they have options to "purchase a meal for a family in need" - just shows their values are so community focused. In summer they also have special drinks that can support certain causes which is always a must do.Check them out the next time you're looking to take someone out to a nice PNW meal, or just a treat yourself type of day!

Smita Balasubramanian: .

Jan Wanot: Absolutely by far and away my favorite restaurant in West Seattle and honestly.... maybe all of Seattle!Perfect small plates, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff. TRY IT!!!

The Harvest Vine: what do users think?

Lily: edit: food still comes out slowlyiberico pork is a must. The desserts are fantastic! Wine and olive was our least favorite but it was still decent. The flan was creamy and came with lots of sauce. Service here is still attentive. A place I will go back .prior review:The food comes out slowly, not a place to grab food if you have another place to go. A good place to be at if you have like 1.5 -2 hours for dinner .The place is small with around 4-5 tables tucked tightly together upstairs and a couple more downstairs. It is best to get a reservation. The octopus and oxtail were definitely my favorite. The octopus was smoky and not fishy . The oxtail was wrapped in a crunchy shell and full of flavor.Bread is bread, I wouldn't get it.I would come back to this place .

Howard Sewell: Small, cozy neighborhood tapas restaurant serving delicious, albeit expensive, small plates. Ironically, the extensive wine list is very reasonably priced – especially the Spanish labels – which might help take the sting out of paying as much as $29 for a plate of octopus. The food itself, however, is consistently top-notch, arrives quickly, and service overall is friendly, timely, and attentive. This was our second visit and we’d definitely return, if only for a special occasion.

Heath Johnson: I really enjoy watching the art to my food being prepared, this is one of those places where you can watch while you wait. The chefs make it look so easy that you forget how challenging it is to repeat what they do in your own kitchen. This is good worth going out for because it is hard to replicate, so treat yourself. It’s like tapas and everything seems to be topped with the best olive oil you can imagine. The ingredients are all fresh and that’s what you can expect here. The recipes are simple with a complex twist, like a splash of some special sauce that lites up the dish. Get a reservation if you can, but they do keep some tables available for walk ins if you want to try your luck if you are passing through. On the pricy side but worth every penny.

Marcus Isnard: Amazing food and service on my last visit. I think it was one of the best restaurant experiences in Seattle. The empanadas and Milanese are some of the best I have ever had. I want to say a big thank you to the owner who was helping the stuff by taking orders, cleaning tables, and serving food on such a busy night when there were issues with reservations. The entire staff was also great. I definitely will be going back for another visit soon. Be sure to try something with the Chimichurri sauce.

Tori Twine: Delicious Argentinian food! I had been to the bakery before, so I was eager to try the restaurant portion of the business. The empanada and Langostinos were flavorful, and the bread was fresh. Loved the decor inside the restaurant as well. The staff was very friendly and checked on us often. We had a dinner reservation and the restaurant was busy when we walked in, so it took a while to get seated and have our orders taken. Our service became much faster as people finished their meals so it may have just been a staffing issue due to the dinner rush. This didn’t tarnish our experience at all and we would still love to come back and try more of the food.

Patrick Hutchinson: This place has a great Atmosphere right above Pikes Place. You can enjoy views of the market and the Puget Sound on a sunny day. The outdoor deck seating is equipped with umbrellas for those that would like to get out of the summer heat.I’ve frequented this place regularly. The food is great last time I was there I had a Tuna Salad. The produce is extremely fresh and crispy. Don’t be surprised if you can’t finish the plate. I would also highly recommend one of my favorite places to get a margarita. Ask for the pitcher approx 4 drinks if your with a party or group. The Cadillac Pitcher is so good even my wife talks about it!

Dax Rich: and because I came at the end of breakfast I also got a great cinnamon roll. The weather was perfect, the food was quick, and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely the highlight of my Seattle business trip!Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is on the second floor, so it doesn't seem to be wheelchair accessible.

Janette White: The food was absolutely amazing! The service was great! The drinks and the flight spicy margarita's, the mimosas, Bloody Mary and the cute heart shape shot glass they give you as a souvenir! I would come back here every time. Definitely a must eat place if your visiting Seattle at public market! Food was hot and fresh melted in your mouth!

Ivo Lopez: , ceviche, picante/spicy dishes…Great atmosphere with market, bay and mountain view, nice and sunny/warm!😋Vegetarian options: Try papas a la huancaina

Julia Moss: Love love loved every bite, every second of our experience here. Staff was so sweet, no frills menu offering breakfast, lunch/dinner. Beautiful outdoor seating up and above the ruckus of the market, great people watching. Skip the coffee, pretty but not very good, the salad was pretty drenched in vinegret. The Papa's were phenomenal and the corn, cheese.. square was so so so so so delicious. Home made hot sauce was a cherry on top.

Cicchetti: what do users think?

Scott Patterson: The best restaurant and best vibes in Seattle. I’m so lucky to have lived in Eastlake. We’ll be back soon!

Jeffery Hennings: Had a great experience here.Really fantastic ambience with great food and a cool open kitchen set up. The sauce that comes with the lamb burger is amazing.

Erin Ogden Green: Good meal. Great appetizers. Good wine list. A bit on the noisy side, so it was hard to have a conversation.

Akshay Ram: Loved the squash soup and olive cicchetti. Gnochi wasn't the best, overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Limited menu with couple of vegetarian options that worked for us

Jessica Turner: Love love this place!! Ambiance is great, service prompt and friendly and the food was stellar. We got the 3 mezzes to start: Churizo dates, Hummus, and Sardines. All were delicious! Then we shared the lamb ragu special, also perfect. Will definitely come back

Kristin Tennant: Soo yummy and excellent service!

Jennifer Park: and were initially denied a table because the hostess said there was a 40-45min wait even though I saw few empty tables

FoodAddict: We had a delightful experience at Elliott’s Oyster house. Our server, William, was attentive and prompt. Crab cake, clam chowder, halibut, pan fried pacific oysters, scallops and seafood pasta were all delicious. An Automatic 20% service charge was included on our check for a party of 4.“A service charge of 20% is included on your check. Tips are not expected but graciously accepted and retained by your server. Commissions are paid to our teams as a part of their compensation. The 20% service charge is 100% retained by the company. WA state law requires that we collect tax on all service charges.”

Michael Mahoney: Good food BUT sure wasn’t worth the price. Even though the food was good it was very pricey. Our server was Luna and she was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. Guided us through the menu and all the offerings. Our bill for drinks and food was $250 they tack on 20% to the bill it doesn’t go to the servers. The servers are on commission so I really hope they have a good base salary. Would we go again no because of the price and the food.

Shaker + Spear: what do users think?

EZ: Shake and Spear exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. Not only did the restaurant boast an inviting atmosphere and impeccable service, but it also impressed with its efficiency and attention to detail. Our food arrived promptly, a pleasant surprise compared to other restaurants of similar caliber. The seamless coordination between the kitchen and our table ensured that our dishes were served promptly, allowing us to savor each bite without delay. Additionally, the staff effortlessly cleared our finished dishes, ensuring that our dining experience remained smooth and uninterrupted.Furthermore, I was pleased to find that the restroom maintained the same standard of cleanliness and sophistication as the rest of the establishment. Its pristine condition added to the overall positive impression of Shake and Spear, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to excellence in every aspect of the dining experience. In sum, Shake and Spear is a true standout in Seattle's culinary scene, offering not only delectable cuisine but also exceptional service and attention to detail. It's a dining destination that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable meal.

Yan Sun: This is a restaurant that is very, very worth visiting. The reason why it gets four points is based on my own usual evaluation system. In a place like Downtown, the taste needs to be very distinctive to match the location and customer base. And parking is so difficult. It's fine here.We ordered the appetizer of tiger prawns, seafood barbecue and seafood pot. They are all signs. The appetizer base includes mango and cherry tomatoes. The tiger prawns are not too big, and the tail after cooking is only as big as a six- or seven-year-old child's little finger. But it tastes really great. My kids raved about the side dishes. There are chickpeas on the bottom of the seafood pot, and the soup is a little spicy and very delicious. Pair it with clams, shrimps, and the sweetness of the seafood is brought out. The seafood at Grill, the snow crab legs are average, but fortunately they are plump. Two pieces of corn may have different origins, one is sweet and the other is dry. The shrimp is excellent. The sausage that goes with it is great. The child ordered two flavors of ice cream and didn't expect it at all, so I can't comment on the dessert. The service is super good, which is rare in Seattle. The atmosphere is very good, which shows that the quality of the surrounding residents is very high.

Jade Kelley: . I absolutely love the ambiance too. It’s a true wine bar vibe. Shoutout to Robin, our waitress that had amazing energy.

Marcie Swazer: Zero complaints. Their food was all top notch quality bursting with flavor. We ordered the octopus, the 1/2 dozen oysters, crab fritters and the shaved Brussels sprouts with edamame. My husband went crazy over the Brussels, do not skip!Their cocktails were too good and very strong. You can tell they use quality ingredients.Robyn was our server and made us feel very welcomed right away. The hostess was also very nice. Robyn was very informative about the dishes and drinks and helped us decide what to order based on our own tastes. She was attentive but not overly attentive. The vibe and decor was also really fun. We’d absolutely come back to try more dishes and drinks!

The dishes and baklava are decent but something you can get at any good middle eastern restaurant. Our server was great and checked on us several times. They have no alcohol, I would probably not visit again but order in maybe!Vegetarian options: They have veggie plates, rice, and several dips like babaghanoush, hummus, and labneh.

Musang: what do users think?

Ritika Rao: as well. The brussel sprouts were alright, there wasn't enough sauce or alternatively too many sprouts. Do try the corn bibingka for dessert, it's delicious and not too sweet. The prices are very high for the quantities, especially the brussel sprouts and squash, they should be knocked down by 5 bucks at least, they're more like appetizers in slightly larger quantities. I wish they charged a more sensible service charge, 22 percent is absurdly high.

M B: We are foodies. Real foodies. We travel to eat and experience new foods and styles. So giving 5 stars and high praise never comes lightly. Musang is probably the most deserving 5 stars I’ve given in a long time. We were so impressed on our first visit a couple weeks ago; we decided to try it again. Both times did not disappoint. The food is outstanding. Unique; fresh; traditional but with elevated quirks to make the dishes unique and stand out. The chicken with the house gravy or tomato base is out of this world. The short rib was so tender you should use a spoon to debone. We have sampled throughout the menu as well as recommended cocktails and two bottles in their natural wine selection. Nothing, has disappointed, all impressed! From the hostess to our bartender “Tuesday” and our server “Phil”, they impressed us throughout our dinners! We’ll be back!

How To Cook A Wolf: what do users think?

Mackenzie Brisben: We came here for Seattle Restaurant Week recently and had the following:Marinated Olives: perfectionSteak Tartare: I loved it but my two friends didn’t like it at allAhi Tuna: to me was super bland and almost tasted watery? I don’t know how to describe it. Only one of the three of us liked this item.Kale Salad: amazingAgnolotti: delicious but small portionsPaccheri Nero: was made celiac friendly for us which was awesome. It was meh though due to the sauce being understated.Steak: the potatoes and broccolini with the steak were perfect however the steak was confusing because some bites were amazing while others were tough and under seasoned. I had it medium rare. Huge potion though!Pistachio Gelato with Shortbread Cookie: delicious and generous serving size.Cheesecake: kind of seemed like it came from Whole Foods which I’m sure it didn’t but just not that exciting and pretty small for portion size compared to the gelato.Overall it definitely was not bad food but adding 1-2 glasses of wine to this $65 prefix menu landed us at $122 each and it was super not worth that. Sorry! I found it disappointing.Dietary restrictions: Can do celiac friendly foods

Leanne Mustafa: it was pricey, like $200ish, but that's with multiple drinks too. Over all it was a delight from start to finish. Amazing food, great pace, wonderful service we're coming again with friends 😍😍😍

Randy: Quality food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

Laura: Visited on Valentine's Day and ordered from their Wolfie Valentine prix fixe menu, which included four shared appetizers, choice of pasta, choice of main, and choice of dessert.Steak tartare - it was okay, but pretty bland and under seasoned. Kind of had to rely and the salt flakes on the cracker for seasoning. I also wish the crackers were thicker, or that there were a couple more of them.Ahi crudo - pretty good, sauces were tasty and well balanced!Delicata squash with goat cheese - this was my favorite of the appetizers. Well cooked, slightly caramelized.Burrata with beets & kumquat - beets and kumquats were sweet and sour, which complemented the creamy burrata really well.Duck pappardelle - pasta was overcooked, so it was kind of mushy. Sauce was a bit plain, but duck was nice and tender.Black trumpet tagliatelle - well cooked, and tasty! Huge portion, we ended up taking some home to save space for the main course.Scallops - sadly also overcooked, so they were too chewy. I thought the fresh blood orange slices were a bit overpowering, but enjoyed all the other components.Zabuton - well cooked, but the cut was fattier than we expected. And more weight from the nduja butter on top. It needed something more to counterbalance the fattiness. The rutabaga puree was unpleasantly bitter.Almond frangipane torte - by far our favorite course! Delicious mix of flavors and textures. Only regret was ordering soebetto instead of two tortes.Service - overall very attentive, friendly service. The check in was not quite ideal, since there's no space inside to wait for your reservation, so we had to wait outside in the cold.Ambiance - cozy and romantic.

Loulay Kitchen & Bar: what do users think?

Dan VanVladricken: French cuisine in the heart of Seattle. The food was masterfully done, and everything we had was delicious. An amazing experience. Make reservations for 2, and have a romantic French dinner.

Imogen Caroline Brendel MPP PMP: They definitely have retained their edge as one of the best in this metro. Before c19, this was in my regular lunch rotation when working in the office; take-out since. Food and experience remain top notch, comparable to some 1 Michelin star places in Silicon Valley and SF. Must visit in Seattle. PS. The dining room is gorgeous!

dominic corr: The chef in the hat is the best!

Dari Dee: Terrific food, shwanky vibe, but without the attitude & high prices. Wait staff on point!

Mbali Hlongwane: . We went in for lunch without a reservation. Making a reservation is the best option because it can get really busy at this restaurant. The food was well presented, appetizing and very tasty. The chicken was tender. They also have this broccoli that had some tangy taste. I can't remember the name of the dish, my friend had it and offered me a taste, absolutely delicious. I will definitely go back to this restaurant. Highly recommend. Also.. Bonus.. The hosts were wearing suits, neat!!

Brian Sullivan: This French restruant is a hit, we had Tuna, mushroom risotto and the best duck I have ever tasted, will go back again and again, service was exceptional

Pandora Proxy: They get everything right! Whoever runs this place really knows what they are doing.I don’t know what happened to seattle restaurants lately, but they all seem to miss the mark on what makes a restaurant experience good. They all think the same thing, “lets make it a fun atmosphere!” Which ends up meaning they just make everything loud and annoying. Even if the food is good, its a headache because everything is a hard surface and the music is always at max volume. That brings me to Loulay. This place hits the mark on every point. The noise level is PERFECT. There are enough soft surfaces, and the music level is low enough that the place feels cozy and inviting and I can actually hear my wife talk without having to raise our voices, which makes us want to stay longer and order more drinks. Not to mention the decor is lovely and not too busy.Which brings me to the drinks, I don’t know the name of their bartender but I hope he never leaves. He is a genius, I have never had cocktails as delicious as the ones I had at Loulay, and they don’t rely on being sweet either, they are just good! And then there is the food. You can really tell that the kitchen really cares about what they are doing here. Everything is cooked perfectly, the presentation is always good but not uselessly complicated, and of course it all tastes great!Definitely coming back as many times as I can and will always be my first choice for a nice occasion of food and drinks.

James Crain: Hands down one of the best meals we have ever eaten. My wife and I went here for a Valentine's dinner on our trip to Seattle, and couldn't find a bad thing to say about our experience.

Philip Myers: Great dining experience. Our large group had a private dining area and special menu of delicious choices.

Mary S. Butler: Excellent menu, wine list, and a staff finely attuned to diner's needs.

Jordan Rudd: One of the best restaurants in Seattle, hands down

Bobby T: . However, the rest of my experience was amazing. Our server, Chrissy, was unlike any I've ever encountered. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and detailed in explaining how each dish was prepared. It was an unbelievable experience, and if you visit, make sure to ask for her. She will give you a dining experience like no other. The highlight of my visit was definitely her service. The food was outstanding. We tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, and the mimosas, which came in different flavors and were delightful. The salmon was incredibly flavorful, and the appetizers were amazing. Every aspect of my dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning.A special thanks to Chrissy for her phenomenal service and for creating such a wonderful experience for us. She truly elevated the art of serving to a whole new level. I would also like to mention the manager who came to our table; it was a nice touch. Overall, I would give this place 10 stars because five stars are simply not enough for this exceptional restaurant.

Will Oberst: Superb wedding venue, great for all weather conditions

Mary Wynn: 30 years ago, minus 2 days, we had our wedding reception at Saltys. We stopped by today on our way home from a night in Seattle and decided to swing through West Seattle. Randomly, we thought we would step into Saltys for some random skyline photos, then it dawned on us..our anniversary was 2 days away. We had not planned on staying but they were so great and we thought it was very nostalgic. Mara the manager treated us like royalty. She sprinkled the table with rose petals, gave us a signed staff congratulations card, drinks on the house, cake to die for and John F, the server was a top notch professional. There is a reason we had spent so much time there through the years, but this day was over the top special and the staff sealed the deal. We have been away too long. One of the photos was from 30 years ago. Thank you John F and Mara.

Andy Derscheid: Always a great experience here, for locals and tourists alike. You can't beat the view and the service, and the food and presentation match its quality. Plenty of fresh seafood and excellent steaks. Definitely get the seafood chowder no matter what you order. Solid cocktails and truly top notch service. All in all a fantastic experience.Parking: There is on-site parking but the spots are small, so leave the full size trucks at home.

akain: JAY FROM ENHYPEN RECOMMENDED THIS‼️👀

Emerson Butler: and was so knowledgeable and friendly! Our waitress, Megan, was attentive, made fantastic recommendations, and just provided some of the best service we have ever had.Even Benny the busboy was right on time to clear our appetizer plates and other dishes! If your busboy has made it into my review you have really made good hiring choices!!And that’s just the people. The FOOD. The food was to die for. To start we got the Thai chili prawns, and the moved on to a crab-stuffed sturgeon and a halibut with mushroom risotto. To finish up we got a crème brûlée and the delicious cake you can see in the photos

Kennedy Farmer: This is my first review I’ve ever left because it was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and all the staff there made it feel so special! The food and views were great, I highly recommend the crab stuffed steelhead! Our server Ignacio was super friendly and patient when we were being indecisive about how to start our orders. This is a great place to go for a special occasion, we will definitely be returning!

Billy Xia: 5 star view and 3 star food. A solid 4 star seafood restaurant overall. The seafood was fresh but nothing stood out. Definitely on the pricey side but you are there for the view.Note: Not vegan / vegetarian friendly.
