Danny Tram: This is the second branch of Simply Seattle and the first one is on the 1st Street Ave. I love everything from Simply Seattle because it provides a variety of cheap, unique, and memorable items. This store is super spacious, and clean. The staff is super friendly and hospitable to every customer. This is my must-stop store whenever I visit the Pier 54 and the Waterfront. Cari Murray: How have I never sang my praises for Alair through a review?! I love Alair so much. It has been my happy place, my candle mecca and my gift-giving savior since the day it opened. You can always find something unique and silly, and the staff is helpful, funny and kind.Highly recommend following them on Instagram if you're not already -- and if you live far away, peruse their online shop asap! They offer curated gift services, which means they'll get as detailed and specific as you ask. I had them create a "happy divorce" package for one friend and a "happy 40th, you're still a college BFF to me!" for another one.Locals, you can also rent the space for private shopping parties during Christmas time -- it's the best way to shop with friends during a busy season!

Paul Carr: The friendly and helpful staff at the Magnolia Garden Center helped me select and plant flowers in several large flower pots in my yard. Plants went in early this spring and have been evolving beautifully ever since. Never had such success with potted flowers before.

Jessica J.: Very cute and well stocked plant shop and nursery! It’s in a little shopping district with some good restaurants and coffee nearby. I went in looking for a climbing rose and the clerk was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick between the 3 they had in stock.
E NS: and it just looks so good thank you.Besides that, the accessibility and parking are so easy in this neighborhood. If I ever moved far away, I would definitely have this be my go to nursery in the area. It might be a personal preference, but the shopping experience of going to a smaller place like this, versus a bigger place like Swanson’s feels way more relaxing. Some people have mentioned it is expensive but that’s most places are when you live in a city like this.. If you want affordable you’ll have to spring for Home Depot 😭- I reported Stephen Jones review to google

David Fischer: This is the gold standard of shopping centers in Seattle. Forget Bellevue Square, this has better stores. The top brands are all here with a much wider selection of stores and restaurants, not just a bunch of fast feeders, clothing and jewelry stores like most malls. We always like checking this place out when in central Seattle.
Michael Moynihan: The best shopping experience in Seattle. The best shops with beautifully landscaped gardens.
Gordon Mitchell: We absolutely love visiting the University Village. Unique shops, easy parking, everything here one could want/need, it’s simply a great place to shop & relax. From Williams Sonoma to QVC, Pottery Barn & Allbirds, UV has it all.

geofre: Not much for indoor plants or garden statuary but their outdoor selection is fantastic. They don't seem to be doing anything with terrariums anymore which is a bummer.
