Gene Dupuis: We have been with CMI going on three years. During our first year with them, Todd and his crew were able to secure better contracted vendors, help with getting all transferred funds and information from the previous property management company which had caused serious damage to our accounts. CMI has a great staff, very responsive and ready to help at all levels. In an emergency they had the clean up crew here within hours and followed through with getting everything taken care of. During meetings Todd and his management staff have provided expert advise, good service options and followed through with everything requested. Over this last year our association completed major projects. Resurfacing parking areas, repainting and carpeting our common areas, adding new furniture to our lobby. During this year long project they were there to advise, supervise and help with all of the vendors that we worked with. I have been on the board for most of our 14 years. We have had six different property management companies. I have to say, without reservation that CMI is the best. The staff are great to work with, they are local, as we are in West Seattle, and the 24/7 service is by far the best that I have worked with.

Corry de Rooze: CWD is a Condo Association Management company and a decent one, best we have had. They are of course under staffed and are more expensive than some other ones, but they know the laws and work with the Board. They have helped us in a complex legal issue and are doing a good job.

Erica Rodriguez: I just signed a lease and picked up my keys for an apartment in Halmark and Hamlish. I moved here from Florida and had 3 days to find an apartment in an area I had never visited. I contacted Peak Living to tour Baker 38 and met up with Trevor Lloyd, the property manager. He is absolutely amazing. I was not feeling the Mt Baker neighborhood and without missing a beat Trevor started asking me what I was looking for in my new home. He told me all about Queen Anne and how it sounded like I would enjoy that area more. He booked me a tour at Halmark and Hamlish on his day off and, needless to say, he was 100% right; it’s exactly what I was looking for. Trevor has been on the ball with every question I had and helped me with setting up my utilities and parking. The apartment is beautiful in a well-kept, historic building. They kept much of the 1940s charm, but updated the kitchen and bathroom. It’s wonderful. I’m excited to be part of the community.
Juanita Sierra: and a day or two later it was fixed!Halmark and hamilton is such a gorgeous place to live! It’s a precious old building but the actual units are stunning and modern. Kitchen looks like it’s out of a magazine. The area is so perfect and you can walk anywhere. So many great dining options, gym like 2 blocks away, many bars, bookstores. Truly something for everyone!I’ve seen so many negative reviews that came from tenants that didn’t have the luxury of having peak living while they lived here. I truly believe that the only reason they had issues was because they didn’t have Trevor and peak living.Someone give Trevor a raise please!!!

Captain Love Bug: Apartments are great, staff is fantastic and quick to respond, neighbors and feeling of community is unmatched. The ground's keeper, cleaning ladies, and landscaper's keep the complex looking incredible.The parking lot could use some work, and the 7009 building needs blockers for the ventilation holes in the roof. Other than that this place is perfect.
Diana Salazar Valles: Maple Leaf is such a wonderful organization. Our experience working with them was seamless. They are communicative, organized and understanding. Our family of 5 stayed at the Monda House for a month. The house has everything you need and only 20 minutes from SCH. Our 2 and 4 year olds loved all the toys and big fans of the bean bags. Thank you Maple Leaf for providing a wonderful accommodation for families at a fraction of the cost. It was such s game changer and relieved a ton of stress.

Bella 206: APM is a great! To all potential renters. Do not listen to the whining folks. I was a renter with Lisa and A.P.M for six years/six leases, and would have signed another lease had the owner of the unit I rented not sold the home. In the 6 years I lived in the unit, whenever something went wrong, I always received a quick response. Lisa goes out of her way to send help immediately. She also gives anyone a chance. One time the shower curtain and holder broke. She personally bought a new set and delivered a new set that very day. She has many professional connections /experience In the industry. You want Lisa on your side. The difference is a private landlord who takes triple the amount of time to fix something because they have to ‘research it, or find the best deal. APM always sends help just in time.Another example: when the unit I lived in was sold, Lisa came over that very day in person to share the news, vs some robot email..She only tries to help people. As for how long things take. It is life. The sense of entitlement I hear in the reviews is astounding. Lisa and her team always go out of their way to answer and respond, things happen. Sometimes you have to wait. Even after the unit I lived in was sold and I rented from a private landlord for the duration of my lease..I called Lisa /APM asking if they had anything available. And hour later/same day, she arranged for her son to show a unit that night. Who does that? A BOSS lady. She’s rad! She cares! If you’re still not convinced that APM is who you should rent with, look at their availabilities..They rarely have vacancies. I would rent from APM in a heartbeat. They are super. They get it done. They are local. They are human. Cheers.

Eric Catlin: Our 250 household HOA was struggling with a smaller Management Company before switching to EMB. We are nearing 1 year with EMB now, and so far we have seen improvements in nearly all aspects of HOA management - fast response times, functional web-portal, clear communication, and proactive management.EMB seems like a large operation, so they have the resources and support available to solve problems the smaller teams struggle with, and all while remaining very competitive on cost
Brendan Lersch: I am the President of my HOA and we were looking for a new property manager. While we ultimately went with someone else, EMB was a close second. Kristen was quick to answer any of my questions and was honest with the qualms our association would be facing. It was helpful and I could tell that we would be in good hands with EMB.
Mikel Thomas: In relation to working with EMB, I feel like we could have better communication on issues that being worked. Our HOA Board recommends certain actions and we assume things are being taken care of, but then we do not get status of when letters/fines etc are sent, if / when residents respond unless we the board ask specifically. There should be some type of transaction notification on when actions were sent and we should not have to ask if our manager has gotten responses. Even if its a weekly report etc. This is how things get missed and go for months on end without resolution. I feel like we are paying for this service but not getting the communication regarding the issues.
