Stefan & Audrey: We recently photographed a wedding here, and have done so many times, so we figured it was time for a glowing review. The charm of this venue is undeniable. Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.

The Herban Feast team is also so kind and wonderful at what they do. I loved every minute of my time at Sodo Park, it really is a gem!

Mark Lucht: Great venue. I was recently there to see Teatro Zinzanni. Really a large place, but they shoved too many people into it. I can see Sodo Park as a popular option for wedding receptions and the like. I hope that Teatro Zinzanni finds a differently permanent location, though.

PhD Lower Life Form: Recently rented out for a birthday party and it was amazing. Catering provided by connected restaurant made for easy load in and out of food. This will be my go to for my next event for sure.

From the initial contact, through to the end of our event, Danielle and her team provided us with the most amazing service. The food from Quinn's Pub was wonderful, the space was spectacular, and the staff was impeccable. The night could not have gone any better and it's all thanks to Danielle and the whole team! We will be using Sole Repair Shop again for future events, and I highly recommend others do so as well! You will not be disappointed!
Toni Clark: I had my wedding at Sole Repair Shop last month where we invited about 25 people and it was the perfect space for our small group. Danielle communicated well in advance of our wedding day which helped make it so stress free and ensure we had all the information we needed to make the day go seamlessly! I couldn't have been happier with the restaurant they partner with for catering as everyone loved the taco bar we had! Couldn't have asked for a better venue!

Kate Dahl: If there was a way for me to leave a 10-star review, I would!!!We got married at Georgetown Ballroom and the entire experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email we sent, we were partnered with Nancy Neyhart to help us execute our perfect wedding, and she went above and beyond. Her commitment to service, communication, kindness, and honesty were so helpful as we planned our wedding. We loved having a single person throughout the almost year-long process that we could rely on and build a relationship with.The venue itself is spectacular. It was colorful, spacious, bright, and funky, all perfect for a March wedding in Seattle where rain was always in the cards. We were able to visit several times, including an impromptu walk-through with our parents to show them the space long before our wedding day. A lot of other venues we looked at would have charged for an extra run-through, but Nancy was so welcoming and even gave our parents the same magical tour she gave us.We also got to visit for a menu tasting which was a fun evening that we turned into a date night. Catering was included in the booking, and the food was fabulous! We went with a taco bar and our guests raved about how different and fun our food was to the average wedding. The price was absolutely fair and in-line with caterers we had been researching before booking the venue.It never felt like GTB was nickel-and-diming us. Every decision was ours to make, with no hidden charges or fees. With Nancy's help, we were able to create the perfect wedding for our budget, our vision, and our guests. We will be singing the praises of this venue for the rest of our lives!Thank you thank you thank you, Nancy and team. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

The property itself is just gorgeous, the staff is all so friendly, and the in-house catering is DELICIOUS. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got from guests on how good dinner was. From our event manager, Nancy, that helped plan the day to the staff working the event. They are all such warm and genuine people with great organization and attention to detail. They are also one of the few places in the wedding industry that is so transparent with their pricing and policies which really helps with budgeting.2. The amount of services offered inhouse. They have high quality in house catering and bar services as well as venue decorations and back yard games, they literally had everything we needed for the wedding. We were able to just sit back, relax and enjoy our wedding night without having to worry about the details.It's not often that you can get a beautiful venue, great food and top-notch service all in the same place but GTB delivers! They have great indoor and outdoor space, an integrated sound system for a DJ to plug into, and really fun vintage decor. Quality food was a high priority for us and we got lots of compliments -- especially the cod! Highly recommend.

Kaitlin Gillespie: When my husband and I first walked into Georgetown Ballroom, we knew it was the perfect location for our intimate, 40-person wedding. This gorgeous venue is full of charm and history and highly customizable for events big and small. We immediately fell in love with the brick walls, paper lanterns and other thoughtful details throughout the space. The food and drinks were excellent -- the chef even helped us make a custom Bob’s Burgers style “burger of the day” as one of our appetizers.But what makes Georgetown Ballroom truly special are the wonderful people who work there. We worked primarily with Nancy Neyhart for more than a year to make every detail perfect. Nancy was responsive to my many, many questions, transparent with us about costs and allowed us to tour the venue multiple times as we were planning our decorations and details. Nancy and the team at Georgetown did more than help us plan a wedding -- they helped us share our love story.And I can’t go without mentioning the massive hiccup Nancy helped us navigate. On our wedding day, my husband woke up sick, and for more than a few moments, I thought we were going to have to cancel. But the Georgetown Ballroom team went above and beyond to ensure everything went according to schedule. Nancy helped keep me calm, and even brought my husband cold packs and ginger beer in his getting ready suite.We would recommend Georgetown Ballroom a hundred times over for all types of events. We will be forever grateful to Nancy and her team for her care and dedication to making our wedding happen.

Danielle was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and flexible -- it was always clear that her first priority was for our event to be successful and our guests to enjoy their time. It was a joy planning our event down to the smallest detail together. The night-of staff made sure the night ran so smoothly and created a warm & inviting atmosphere. We could not thank Georgetown Ballroom enough for all their help. They took care of so much of the logistics, allowing us to focus on our program and meeting with our guests. We not only met our fundraising goal, we far surpassed it! Our guests provided so much positive feedback on the venue, the food, and the overall flow of the event. Christine Malone: We had our wedding reception here in September and The 101 truly exceeded our expectations. We opted for the partial planning wedding package and Alison was our wedding planner. She did a great job, was a pleasure to work with, she was super communicative and made sure everything was done with all vendors and coordination. Not to mention The 101 team made the venue look incredible. The only thing I would change is that I would have done the entire planning package because our experience was so great-it is totally worth it.The venue is beautiful and spacious. It's also in a perfect area for taking wedding photos. The rental also comes with table and chairs. We decided to add the photo both last minute and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the reception. We had a great experience with The 101.

Darius Seddiqui: As a wedding DJ I see hundreds of venues. If you are lookin for a hip space in the city with LOTS of space I recommend this venue. I would recommend 32 uplights and 4 speakers to round out the sound. Anything less will look sparse. Kelly Rang: We had our wedding at Wisteria Hall this summer, and we absolutely loved this venue. Our wedding had about 70 guests and felt very intimate while also not being overly crowded. The venue managers said this location can comfortably hold 100 guests, but from our experience, I think that would feel a little crowded once dancing starts. I would say this place is perfect for 90 or fewer guests.Our pictures in the Arboretum turned out perfect and were reason enough to choose this location. The venue manager, Andrew, was also very easy to work with. He responded to our texts/emails quickly and was accommodating with any alteration to the space we requested. We met in-person to discuss potential layout options and he helped answer all of our questions with ease. Overall, we had an amazing experience with Wisteria Hall and everybody involved there and can’t recommend this space enough.
Angie Savela: We rented Wisteria Hall for our August wedding and it was the perfect space for our outdoor ceremony and reception. We ended up having 70 guests and the space felt just right. It was nice to have a venue that was so embedded in nature, but still very accessible to the city. The bistro lights in the courtyard created a beautiful ambiance to dance the night away. We were pleased with the parking, as were our guests. The only inconvenience was being unable to deliver anything to the venue until 1pm on the day of the wedding. We knew about this with plenty of time to make it work for us.
Aaron Beals: A pretty place. You can rent the venue for events and enjoy the surrounding area. You can even purchase some of the flora in the area. June and July will bring many flowers to bloom if you want to enjoy their beauty.
Megan Redlinger: We had our wedding reception here in 2021 and we're both so happy with our choice. We had originally booked for 2020 but with Covid we bumped our date a year later and they we're so helpful and flexible with everything. The venue event coordinator Amber was a God send. So organized and amazing.

John Kim: Probably one of the most elite, exclusive and upscale event venues in Seattle. The secluded location is perched on top of the Magnolia neighborhood overlooking Elliott Bay with a panoramic view of the Emerald City skyline. If you have the means, book your private wedding, corporate party, photo/film shoot or special event at this historic place.
Craig K: The Admiral's House is a truly one-of-a-kind venue that captures the essence of Seattle. If you tour this venue for a wedding and they have availability around your desired time frame - snatch it up as they will go quickly. The venue is a blank canvas as all of the catering/tables/chairs/flowers have to be locked down from other vendors. If you are looking for something turnkey where the venue provides you everything, this is not the place for you. When we were not working 60 hours/week for our career, my wife and I pretty much took 12 months of planning into making this THE most memorable night of our lives and a decision we will not regret

Melissa Trejo: were all lovely to work with and professional through and through. They very genuinely seemed to want for our event to be a success and to support us in order to make it so. Be aware if you are considering an event here, that Block 41 have a list of vendors they prefer clients use for their events which may or may not be an issue for your event, but it's worth noting if you already have certain vendors booked or in mind to use. There is further info about it on their website, but as with anything just be sure to ask a lot of questions about all details when event planning. Other reviewers have made mention of not feeling safe in the neighborhood, but for those who are already city dwellers, sadly I don't think it seemed any more so than other parts of Seattle or in certain areas of other major cities. As the owner previously responded to another reviewer, it is part of a much larger conversation within Seattle and the world as a whole which is beyond Block 41's control. We hired a security guard and had no issues. This is a charming event space with lots of personality and well worth considering for weddings, parties, conferences, and events of all shapes.

Our theme was “wedding and wrestling” and Block 41 didn’t hesitate to help us with moving and constructing a full wrestling ring in their space. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Ryan Mendez-Tucker: My husband and I absolutely loved having our wedding at Block 41 in July 2023. The venue is stunning, and the customizable lighting enhances its beauty. The space is huge, and we were fully able to utilize the two floors and outdoor courtyard for our wedding. We had the ceremony upstairs with the abundance of natural light that just made everything feel warm and welcoming, then had guests go downstairs for cocktail hour while the upstairs space was flipped from ceremony to dinner/reception. The downstairs space is fully customizable with LED lighting, and we were able to create a super cool atmosphere with the lighting and music from the DJ. Guests absolutely loved the outdoor courtyard and the Seattle mural was a big hit for photos throughout the night. The built-in amenities, including private “getting ready” space, full prep kitchens on each floor, hookups for A/V equipment, and furniture, were absolutely amazing, and no other venue we researched for our wedding even came close to having what Block 41 offers. Block 41 is beautiful and offers so many options for hosting events/weddings large or small. Beyond the space itself, the staff were absolute life-savers throughout the process. Heli was so helpful in providing so much information and advice that was invaluable in our planning process. She is responsive, flexible, and experienced, and was a dream to work with. She was also there to help make sure everything went smoothly during our rehearsal and our wedding day. We would ABSOLUTELY choose Block 41 again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing venue.

She was ridiculously patient with us and addressed every single one of our worries. She also met with us numerous times to help us work with planning and made suggestions and she was just invaluable! Her years of work in the entertainment/wine industry is evident.We played our wedding ceremony video at the beginning of our reception. As I was standing there behind stage, my mind spiraling.... what if people get sick, should have canceled.....Melinda came up to me and said "Remember, tonight is about celebrating the two of you. Just enjoy it."It was exactly what I needed to hear WHEN I needed to hear it.The Factory Luxe is a great venue run by a class act.

My main point of contact at the Hall was the amazing event manager, Sara. Most of our communication was done via email, and Sara was prompt and detail-oriented in answering all of my questions over the months.The actual day of our wedding could not have been more perfect. The staff at the Hall was amazing in making sure everything ran smoothly and that our needs were taken care of. We were brought drinks and appetizers while we signed our marriage license, which was so thoughtful.A big selling point for us was that the HAF did all of the food and drink in house making it easy for us. Let me tell you, the food was AMAZING. We still have guests telling us months later how fantastic the food was.Overall, our experience at the Hall was above and beyond what we could have asked for. She was really helpful with menu updates and changes - I can't recommend them enough!We rented out the entire venue and it was so nice to have different areas for guests to hang out in. The Emerald Room was stunning in the evening and provided the perfect scene for post-ceremony festivities. Having the ceremony in the garden was so pretty - the trees and greenery created a perfect background and it definitely helped shade us from the unusual September sun and wildfire ash.We had our cocktail hour in the courtyard with a mariachi band playing and it was perfect! Probably one of my favorite parts of the wedding.The FOOD WAS AMAZING - all of our guests commented on how the food was some of the best they ever had.The staff that worked the event were first class: our guests made comments on how helpful and pleasant they were and I couldn't agree more!

Nicole Agne: We had our wedding at the Metropolist this fall and it was our dream wedding! Andi was amazing at communicating - from when I booked the venue down to the day of, she is prompt, attentive and responsive to all questions. I planned a majority of the wedding myself, and she was extremely patient with all of my questions and offered so much consultation and support leading up. She was also available for questions the day of and all venue support she provided was seamless from the crane to the lights.The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Metropolist lets you bring in your own vendors so you can truly make your day your own. Everything from catering to alcohol we brought in and it was perfect. It also helps save money by bringing in your own vendors so you can tailor to your budget!Lastly, Andi is a dog lover and Metropolist allows dogs. Our sweet golden retriever was the ring bearer and it was icing on the cake for a fantastic experience.100/10 would recommend the Metropolist and working with Andi!
