Stefan & Audrey: We recently photographed a wedding here, and have done so many times, so we figured it was time for a glowing review. The charm of this venue is undeniable. Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.

The Herban Feast team is also so kind and wonderful at what they do. I loved every minute of my time at Sodo Park, it really is a gem!

Mark Lucht: Great venue. I was recently there to see Teatro Zinzanni. Really a large place, but they shoved too many people into it. I can see Sodo Park as a popular option for wedding receptions and the like. I hope that Teatro Zinzanni finds a differently permanent location, though.

Kate Dahl: If there was a way for me to leave a 10-star review, I would!!!We got married at Georgetown Ballroom and the entire experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email we sent, we were partnered with Nancy Neyhart to help us execute our perfect wedding, and she went above and beyond. Her commitment to service, communication, kindness, and honesty were so helpful as we planned our wedding. We loved having a single person throughout the almost year-long process that we could rely on and build a relationship with.The venue itself is spectacular. It was colorful, spacious, bright, and funky, all perfect for a March wedding in Seattle where rain was always in the cards. We were able to visit several times, including an impromptu walk-through with our parents to show them the space long before our wedding day. A lot of other venues we looked at would have charged for an extra run-through, but Nancy was so welcoming and even gave our parents the same magical tour she gave us.We also got to visit for a menu tasting which was a fun evening that we turned into a date night. Catering was included in the booking, and the food was fabulous! We went with a taco bar and our guests raved about how different and fun our food was to the average wedding. The price was absolutely fair and in-line with caterers we had been researching before booking the venue.It never felt like GTB was nickel-and-diming us. Every decision was ours to make, with no hidden charges or fees. With Nancy's help, we were able to create the perfect wedding for our budget, our vision, and our guests. We will be singing the praises of this venue for the rest of our lives!Thank you thank you thank you, Nancy and team. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

Extremely well-organized, made sure we stayed on top of everything, and ran the wedding itself so smoothly we didn't have to even think about lifting a finger. The property itself is just gorgeous, the staff is all so friendly, and the in-house catering is DELICIOUS. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got from guests on how good dinner was. From our event manager, Nancy, that helped plan the day to the staff working the event. They are all such warm and genuine people with great organization and attention to detail. They are also one of the few places in the wedding industry that is so transparent with their pricing and policies which really helps with budgeting.2. The amount of services offered inhouse. They have high quality in house catering and bar services as well as venue decorations and back yard games, they literally had everything we needed for the wedding. We were able to just sit back, relax and enjoy our wedding night without having to worry about the details.It's not often that you can get a beautiful venue, great food and top-notch service all in the same place but GTB delivers! They have great indoor and outdoor space, an integrated sound system for a DJ to plug into, and really fun vintage decor. Quality food was a high priority for us and we got lots of compliments -- especially the cod! Highly recommend.

This gorgeous venue is full of charm and history and highly customizable for events big and small. We immediately fell in love with the brick walls, paper lanterns and other thoughtful details throughout the space. The food and drinks were excellent -- the chef even helped us make a custom Bob’s Burgers style “burger of the day” as one of our appetizers.But what makes Georgetown Ballroom truly special are the wonderful people who work there. We worked primarily with Nancy Neyhart for more than a year to make every detail perfect. Nancy was responsive to my many, many questions, transparent with us about costs and allowed us to tour the venue multiple times as we were planning our decorations and details. Nancy and the team at Georgetown did more than help us plan a wedding -- they helped us share our love story.And I can’t go without mentioning the massive hiccup Nancy helped us navigate. On our wedding day, my husband woke up sick, and for more than a few moments, I thought we were going to have to cancel. But the Georgetown Ballroom team went above and beyond to ensure everything went according to schedule. Nancy helped keep me calm, and even brought my husband cold packs and ginger beer in his getting ready suite.We would recommend Georgetown Ballroom a hundred times over for all types of events. We will be forever grateful to Nancy and her team for her care and dedication to making our wedding happen.

Danielle was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and flexible -- it was always clear that her first priority was for our event to be successful and our guests to enjoy their time. It was a joy planning our event down to the smallest detail together. The night-of staff made sure the night ran so smoothly and created a warm & inviting atmosphere. We could not thank Georgetown Ballroom enough for all their help. They took care of so much of the logistics, allowing us to focus on our program and meeting with our guests. We not only met our fundraising goal, we far surpassed it! Our guests provided so much positive feedback on the venue, the food, and the overall flow of the event. We couldn't have done it with Danielle & her team!

Our guests raved about the delicious food, the rooms to get ready in were so comfortable and creative, and the service was fantastic. Overall, it was all so great and Imperia was the best place we could have chosen to get married!

Months later we tasted the food. We were a little nervous that we’d booked the venue without knowing what the included food tasted like. And oh my. We ended up adding more options than we initially planned because everything was so delicious! It was so good that some of our guests wanted to come back and have a dinner after the wedding! We got so much good feedback about the venue, the location with views of the water, and the food from all our guests. Lastly, the people. Tasia and JJ were one of the best parts of the venue. The amount they love the space, the patience they had answering all our questions, how much they wanted to constantly help make it the wedding of our dreams. This place has the whole package.

The vibe, nice bathrooms with gender neutrality option, amazing get ready spaces, wonderful staff, beautiful and flexible/spacious layout, and LGBTQ inclusivity really stood out for us. The working sessions to confirm details, build the timeline of what happens when, and table layout was a huge timesaver for us. The food tasting session exceeded our expectations, and made us so excited for everyone to enjoy the menu. We were so pleased with how easy the team accommodated changes, how quickly they responded to any inquiries, and helped us to be prepared. They clearly worked hard to ensure our wedding day went as planned. Overall, we really can’t think of anything we would have liked the venue staff to do differently. The day was everything we had hoped and planned for.
Emily Wise: the decor is top notch! It is a DANCE VENUE! We couldn't have hosted the dance party we did without the space of Imperia. It was idyllic. M D: The Great Hall served as a semi-destination venue for us, as neither my husband nor I live in Seattle. We’d seen the venue on a walk around the lake, and loved the neighbourhood.Thank you, THANK YOU, to the team at Great Hall. Everything was smooth, questions answered within a few days & we had an amazing wedding. It is very much a DIY venue, you’re just renting a fab space, but the team made organizing from afar a breeze.

The Hall at Fauntleroy was supportive and helped us navigate those changes. I would highly recommend them for a Seattle wedding venue!

Maddie Dautel: This is a long overdue review and thank you to the Hall at Fauntleroy. We started planning our wedding during COVID, so at the time, pretty much everything was virtual. My main point of contact at the Hall was the amazing event manager, Sara. Most of our communication was done via email, and Sara was prompt and detail-oriented in answering all of my questions over the months.The actual day of our wedding could not have been more perfect. The staff at the Hall was amazing in making sure everything ran smoothly and that our needs were taken care of. We were brought drinks and appetizers while we signed our marriage license, which was so thoughtful.A big selling point for us was that the HAF did all of the food and drink in house making it easy for us. Let me tell you, the food was AMAZING. We still have guests telling us months later how fantastic the food was.Overall, our experience at the Hall was above and beyond what we could have asked for. Jessica Flores: The Hall at Fauntleroy was the perfect venue for our September wedding! Sara was great to work with and answered all my questions leading up to the date. She was really helpful with menu updates and changes - I can't recommend them enough!We rented out the entire venue and it was so nice to have different areas for guests to hang out in. The Emerald Room was stunning in the evening and provided the perfect scene for post-ceremony festivities. Having the ceremony in the garden was so pretty - the trees and greenery created a perfect background and it definitely helped shade us from the unusual September sun and wildfire ash.We had our cocktail hour in the courtyard with a mariachi band playing and it was perfect! Probably one of my favorite parts of the wedding.The FOOD WAS AMAZING - all of our guests commented on how the food was some of the best they ever had.The staff that worked the event were first class: our guests made comments on how helpful and pleasant they were and I couldn't agree more!

We are immensely pleased that we chose HAF and T&T as our venue and vendor.From the wedding planning process to coordinating vendors to event set up and breakdown, the T&T staff were kind, communicative, enthusiastic, and professional. We felt cared for and attended to at every step of the way. We felt that we could truly enjoy our special day because of the support we received from them.We also heard from a number of our guests on separate occasions how enjoyable, kind, helpful, and available T&T staff were during the ceremony and reception. People were very pleased and grateful for the service provided, which in turn makes us only even more happy and grateful for the entire experience.Also, the food and beverage service was top notch! Our guests left very satisfied!

For back story, my couple lost their original venue only a few weeks before their wedding date and were scrambling to find something they loved. They came to Canvas and redesigned elements of their wedding in a very short amount of time, and it was executed so well here! It’s a lovely and very customizable venue with extremely kind, helpful and communicative owners/managers. I would love to come back!

Heather Smith: We had our wedding reception at The Factory Luxe. It was the first event for us and many of our guests post Covid lockdown in October of 2021. Melinda was an absolute treasure. She was ridiculously patient with us and addressed every single one of our worries. She also met with us numerous times to help us work with planning and made suggestions and she was just invaluable! Her years of work in the entertainment/wine industry is evident.We played our wedding ceremony video at the beginning of our reception. As I was standing there behind stage, my mind spiraling.... what if people get sick, should have canceled.....Melinda came up to me and said "Remember, tonight is about celebrating the two of you. Just enjoy it."It was exactly what I needed to hear WHEN I needed to hear it.The Factory Luxe is a great venue run by a class act.

David Roberts: This truly a Seattle Time Capsule - it is the old Rainier Brewery Tasting Room - built circa 1950 - think Canlis on a Beer Drinking Budget - but a very Magical Place.. The Stage is Teeny Weeny but intimate club experience if you are there to see a band - Photos of the place in it's hey day and the brewery on the walls - tons of original fixtures and such

Entry has a small entryway that opens to the center of the room, beautiful wooden floors and straight ahead a rock fireplace. To the left is the front with a stage and mens bathrooms on the left, womens on the right. Pretty nice ladies bathroom with sitting room upon entry and 3 stalls 2 sinks and a mirror. To the right of the entry is the bar and a staging area behind that. Was perfect for a wedding and reception 😍

The secluded location is perched on top of the Magnolia neighborhood overlooking Elliott Bay with a panoramic view of the Emerald City skyline. If you have the means, book your private wedding, corporate party, photo/film shoot or special event at this historic place.
Craig K: The Admiral's House is a truly one-of-a-kind venue that captures the essence of Seattle. If you tour this venue for a wedding and they have availability around your desired time frame - snatch it up as they will go quickly. The venue is a blank canvas as all of the catering/tables/chairs/flowers have to be locked down from other vendors. If you are looking for something turnkey where the venue provides you everything, this is not the place for you. When we were not working 60 hours/week for our career, my wife and I pretty much took 12 months of planning into making this THE most memorable night of our lives and a decision we will not regret

Debbie L: I just loved this place. The neighborhood is full of old beautiful mansions. The house is absolutely beautiful, with the old original craftsmanship that you don’t see anymore. The host was warm and welcoming. I want to go back as soon as possible.Rooms: Like stepping back in time to a simpler life.Walkability: You can walk to some restaurants and parks from here.
Roland dela Cuesta: shower stall. The linens and towels are high quality, such as you’d find at a high end hotel.The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the proprietors. We were sent an information email prior to our arrival. We were greeted at the door by the innkeeper, Brenda, who handed me a J1772 adapter for the level 2 Tesla charger so that I could charge my non-Tesla PHEV. It turned out to be the personal property of the owner, Ana Lena, who was so kind to lend it to me for the duration of our stay.The breakfasts were excellent which included a home made, hot item each morning, cheeses and sliced meats, fresh pastries, and my wife’s favourite, fresh bagels with lox and cream cheese. Orange juice and freshly brewed coffee is available at breakfast with Keurig coffee available at all times. Mandarin oranges, biscotti, cookies, chocolates and cold, bottled water were also available all day.We plan on staying at the Shafer Baillie whenever we find ourselves in Seattle and will encourage our friends and family to do the same.Rooms: Luxuriously appointed bedrooms.Food & drinks: Excellent, fresh home made breakfastNoteworthy details: EV charger on site
Victoria: We loved this place and were sad to leave after 3 nights. It is up on a hill and above the hubbub of Seattle in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood but only a couple miles from the heart of the city. Walk around the streets up here to see the architectural beauties that were built when craftsmanship was king. The continental breakfast is top notch. There are goodies left out for you at all times. Everything is kept beautifully. The room was spotless. The owner is very sweet, generous and unassuming and has created a masterpiece here. Stay in top floor Southeast or Southwest ballroom if you don’t mind stairs. We hope to return for a longer stay one day.
Katherine Madden: We held our wedding at S-B Mansion and it was everything we wanted. Ana Lena and her staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. They are an exceptional group of people. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. We also stayed in one of their rooms for the weekend and it was a beautiful place. We plan to go back again. Janet Beilharz: so you heard everyone. This didn’t bother us in the slightest during the day or even when sleeping. It was a little hard to fall asleep with it, but it wasn’t anything that would stop me from staying in that room again.
Ray Ziemer: We stayed at the Mansion May 20-22 of 2023, returning after our first stay in 2018.Everything was exactly as we remembered except perhaps even better. The room furnishings are all period specific which my wife loved, but even better, the mattress was perfect. So glad they did not choose original mattresses!!The photos online speak for themselves, and they are true to life.If you are staying in Seattle this needs to be your first choice.Food & drinks: Many options within walking distance. If you get a Chance to do the chef tasting at nearby Carrello , it's a must.
Casey Homes: Absolutely beautiful place. So nicely decorated and spacious, the photos do not do it justice. The owners and innkeeper were so pleasant. Very easy to chat with at breakfast. And breakfast was delicious as well. Lovely croissants, smoked salmon, hot casserole, make your own parfaits, wonderful coffee.Location is great as well. Very quiet area, easy street parking. And quick walk over to 15th Street for coffee and shops. Or even down to Pike St with all the restaurants there too, only took about 20 mins!All in all, wonderful building, great location, kind staff and delicious breakfast. What more can you ask?!
Rebekah Garrett Ripley: was spacious and sparkling clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. The breakfast was continental with a delicious baked entree each morning such as egg soufflés and blackberry cobbler. All so good. Brenda and Anna are wonderful host…thank you both so much!! We hope to return to Seattle again soon and will definitely be staying at this beautiful B&B.
Stephanie D: this historic B&B, located in the Capitol Hill District and steps away from volunteer Park, is a great place to stay when visiting Seattle. The rooms are clean and well-maintained with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is enhanced continental and coffee and tea and snacks are always left out for guests. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am visiting Seattle.

Peaches Thomas: On Friday 4/5, I attended a Celebration of Women hosted by Cultivate South Park. The South Park Hall is a beautiful event space. The program was inspirational, intentional, and community-centered. The evening opened with two blessings led by Indigenous Women. It was an honor to be there during the ceremonies. The featured artists and musician were exceptional. The family style vegan dinner was catered by Global Chill. Daneca Tran curated a healthy, filling, and delicious meal for the attendees. Thank you Cultivate SP for everything that you do to build and uplift community!!

Maria Reyes: It's nice and big, with a good size kitchenette area, bathrooms and place where there could be a band with drums sheet set up. Only thing I would suggest is to fix the stairs, the parking is tight and for events all with all the shots around sometimes is a little scarce. When I went there was only one parking left and more then half the people weren't there for the event yet. But there is street parking.
Nathan Marion: Love this historic Hall! So many possible uses there has us getting creative even during COVID times. Lots of space to spread out and setup for creative uses like dinners or small groups or even a staff meeting with tables and spacing. Next door to good food and also Resistencia coffee shop which is ✨🔥✊🏼!In normal times we use the hall for events, concerts etc. new sound system now and projector/screen built in. Easy parking lot too
Tina Zirkle: We went to a murder mystery masquerade ball there. So much fun. The only draw back is very steep stairs at the entryway.
