Stefan & Audrey: We recently photographed a wedding here, and have done so many times, so we figured it was time for a glowing review. The charm of this venue is undeniable. Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.

Brianna Messer: As a wedding photographer I think my favorite thing about Sodo Park is that it is not only a beautiful venue on its own, but its proximity to other locations give couples the opportunity to have such a variety in their photos! The Herban Feast team is also so kind and wonderful at what they do. I loved every minute of my time at Sodo Park, it really is a gem!
Kat Ua: Sat out on the covered patio area. There is a fireplace. Very cozy place and food was good. Good variety for a group.
Mark Lucht: Great venue. I was recently there to see Teatro Zinzanni. Really a large place, but they shoved too many people into it. I can see Sodo Park as a popular option for wedding receptions and the like. I hope that Teatro Zinzanni finds a differently permanent location, though.

We got the candle package and had flower arrangements on the tables, and it was perfect! Our guests raved about the delicious food, the rooms to get ready in were so comfortable and creative, and the service was fantastic. Overall, it was all so great and Imperia was the best place we could have chosen to get married!

Briana Evans: and then the reception at their location. And wow. We immediately fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it - the vibe, the look, the secret rooms. Months later we tasted the food. We were a little nervous that we’d booked the venue without knowing what the included food tasted like. And oh my. We ended up adding more options than we initially planned because everything was so delicious! It was so good that some of our guests wanted to come back and have a dinner after the wedding! We got so much good feedback about the venue, the location with views of the water, and the food from all our guests. Lastly, the people. Tasia and JJ were one of the best parts of the venue. The amount they love the space, the patience they had answering all our questions, how much they wanted to constantly help make it the wedding of our dreams. This place has the whole package.
Joseph Orefice: This venue was an easy choice for our wedding. The vibe, nice bathrooms with gender neutrality option, amazing get ready spaces, wonderful staff, beautiful and flexible/spacious layout, and LGBTQ inclusivity really stood out for us. The working sessions to confirm details, build the timeline of what happens when, and table layout was a huge timesaver for us. The food tasting session exceeded our expectations, and made us so excited for everyone to enjoy the menu. We were so pleased with how easy the team accommodated changes, how quickly they responded to any inquiries, and helped us to be prepared. They clearly worked hard to ensure our wedding day went as planned. Overall, we really can’t think of anything we would have liked the venue staff to do differently. The day was everything we had hoped and planned for.
Emily Wise: the decor is top notch! It is a DANCE VENUE! We couldn't have hosted the dance party we did without the space of Imperia. It was idyllic. From the very beginning, JJ and Tasia were so communicative, accommodating, and focused on creating the event of our dreams! JJ's flowers matched the paper products my mom made PERFECTLY. Kate Dahl: If there was a way for me to leave a 10-star review, I would!!!We got married at Georgetown Ballroom and the entire experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email we sent, we were partnered with Nancy Neyhart to help us execute our perfect wedding, and she went above and beyond. Her commitment to service, communication, kindness, and honesty were so helpful as we planned our wedding. We loved having a single person throughout the almost year-long process that we could rely on and build a relationship with.The venue itself is spectacular. It was colorful, spacious, bright, and funky, all perfect for a March wedding in Seattle where rain was always in the cards. We were able to visit several times, including an impromptu walk-through with our parents to show them the space long before our wedding day. A lot of other venues we looked at would have charged for an extra run-through, but Nancy was so welcoming and even gave our parents the same magical tour she gave us.We also got to visit for a menu tasting which was a fun evening that we turned into a date night. Catering was included in the booking, and the food was fabulous! We went with a taco bar and our guests raved about how different and fun our food was to the average wedding. The price was absolutely fair and in-line with caterers we had been researching before booking the venue.It never felt like GTB was nickel-and-diming us. Every decision was ours to make, with no hidden charges or fees. With Nancy's help, we were able to create the perfect wedding for our budget, our vision, and our guests. We will be singing the praises of this venue for the rest of our lives!Thank you thank you thank you, Nancy and team. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way.
Stephanie Walls (Wedding Photographer): Georgetown Ballroom is a beautiful Unique Venue in the Georgetown area of Seattle it has a very urban atmosphere. Every inch of this venue has cool features to use for photos and to keep your guest talking for years to come.

Extremely well-organized, made sure we stayed on top of everything, and ran the wedding itself so smoothly we didn't have to even think about lifting a finger. The property itself is just gorgeous, the staff is all so friendly, and the in-house catering is DELICIOUS. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got from guests on how good dinner was. HIGHLY recommend you book your event here!

From our event manager, Nancy, that helped plan the day to the staff working the event. They are all such warm and genuine people with great organization and attention to detail. They are also one of the few places in the wedding industry that is so transparent with their pricing and policies which really helps with budgeting.2. The amount of services offered inhouse. They have high quality in house catering and bar services as well as venue decorations and back yard games, they literally had everything we needed for the wedding. The only thing we brought in was flowers.Thank You Georgetown Ballroom!

We were able to just sit back, relax and enjoy our wedding night without having to worry about the details.It's not often that you can get a beautiful venue, great food and top-notch service all in the same place but GTB delivers! They have great indoor and outdoor space, an integrated sound system for a DJ to plug into, and really fun vintage decor. Quality food was a high priority for us and we got lots of compliments -- especially the cod! Highly recommend.

Kaitlin Gillespie: When my husband and I first walked into Georgetown Ballroom, we knew it was the perfect location for our intimate, 40-person wedding. This gorgeous venue is full of charm and history and highly customizable for events big and small. We immediately fell in love with the brick walls, paper lanterns and other thoughtful details throughout the space. The food and drinks were excellent -- the chef even helped us make a custom Bob’s Burgers style “burger of the day” as one of our appetizers.But what makes Georgetown Ballroom truly special are the wonderful people who work there. We worked primarily with Nancy Neyhart for more than a year to make every detail perfect. Nancy was responsive to my many, many questions, transparent with us about costs and allowed us to tour the venue multiple times as we were planning our decorations and details. Nancy and the team at Georgetown did more than help us plan a wedding -- they helped us share our love story.And I can’t go without mentioning the massive hiccup Nancy helped us navigate. On our wedding day, my husband woke up sick, and for more than a few moments, I thought we were going to have to cancel. But the Georgetown Ballroom team went above and beyond to ensure everything went according to schedule. Nancy helped keep me calm, and even brought my husband cold packs and ginger beer in his getting ready suite.We would recommend Georgetown Ballroom a hundred times over for all types of events. We will be forever grateful to Nancy and her team for her care and dedication to making our wedding happen.
Zoey Ferenczy: for 200 guests. Danielle was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and flexible -- it was always clear that her first priority was for our event to be successful and our guests to enjoy their time. It was a joy planning our event down to the smallest detail together. The night-of staff made sure the night ran so smoothly and created a warm & inviting atmosphere. We could not thank Georgetown Ballroom enough for all their help. They took care of so much of the logistics, allowing us to focus on our program and meeting with our guests. We not only met our fundraising goal, we far surpassed it! Our guests provided so much positive feedback on the venue, the food, and the overall flow of the event. Georgette Nugent: I've never been married before, therefore I don't know the process that other officiants use. This being said, Anne Marie's process is perfect. She gives you homework. Two, in-depth questionnaires. One to fill out alone and one to fill out as a couple. Simply going through the process of answering the questions brings you and your significant other, closer. It's almost like therapy! Anne Marie then takes your answers, your stories, and creates a beautiful, moving, heartfelt ceremony, with a touch of humor. My fiance and I had been together for 20 years, and we literally fell completely in love all over again as Anne Marie spoke. It was so intimate, beautiful and heartfelt. It could not have been more perfect. She is also a source of advice, guidance and care. I knew from the moment I heard her voice on the phone that we were in good hands. She literally takes a lead in your dance and guides you through it all. She is nurturing, full of spark, and has a passion for her art that comes clearly shining through in her delivery. Whether you are planning a huge wedding or an elopement, as we did, I highly recommend Anne Marie.

PhD Lower Life Form: Recently rented out for a birthday party and it was amazing. Catering provided by connected restaurant made for easy load in and out of food. This will be my go to for my next event for sure.

Toni Clark: I had my wedding at Sole Repair Shop last month where we invited about 25 people and it was the perfect space for our small group. Danielle communicated well in advance of our wedding day which helped make it so stress free and ensure we had all the information we needed to make the day go seamlessly! I couldn't have been happier with the restaurant they partner with for catering as everyone loved the taco bar we had! Couldn't have asked for a better venue!

Christine Malone: We had our wedding reception here in September and The 101 truly exceeded our expectations. We opted for the partial planning wedding package and Alison was our wedding planner. She did a great job, was a pleasure to work with, she was super communicative and made sure everything was done with all vendors and coordination. Not to mention The 101 team made the venue look incredible. The only thing I would change is that I would have done the entire planning package because our experience was so great-it is totally worth it.The venue is beautiful and spacious. It's also in a perfect area for taking wedding photos. The rental also comes with table and chairs. We decided to add the photo both last minute and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the reception. We had a great experience with The 101.

Becca was unavailable so we worked with her associate, Alex. The cherry blossoms bloomed early and she went above and beyond to make sure that we got the photos before they were all gone. She was such a pleasure to work with - a professional with a great personality. She helped us with posing and made the whole experience very comfortable and fun. Craig K: The Admiral's House is a truly one-of-a-kind venue that captures the essence of Seattle. If you tour this venue for a wedding and they have availability around your desired time frame - snatch it up as they will go quickly. The venue is a blank canvas as all of the catering/tables/chairs/flowers have to be locked down from other vendors. If you are looking for something turnkey where the venue provides you everything, this is not the place for you. When we were not working 60 hours/week for our career, my wife and I pretty much took 12 months of planning into making this THE most memorable night of our lives and a decision we will not regret

From the very beginning, Danae was professional, kind and empathetic, which was so important as we were totally hit during the COVID-19 season. Through a total of 4 postponements, Danae was there, every step of the way and was so wonderful to work with. Her and her team were so professional and made our wedding 100% stress free. If you are looking at your budget and don’t know if a day of coordinator is worth it, I would 100000% recommend moving something around to get one. They are integral to the entire day before and day of; so many people talked to me how stressful a wedding is or how chaotic a rehearsal would be—not with Danae! She was organized, structured and had a plan, every step of the way. Our zoom call meetings before the wedding were so awesome and she was so eloquent and poised in everything she did. Kayla Clark: Hiring Bridget with Perfectly Posh Events was one of the best decisions we made with vendors. Having a day-of coordinator made the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day-of run so much smoother than if we had tried to orchestrate it ourselves. It also removed SO much stress from my family and myself. Bridget is very sweet, professional, focused and a joy to work with. The three biggest things for me with having a day-of coordinator like Bridget were- 1. Having someone to look over what you are doing and make sure your plans, timeline, vendors, etc are all in line in the months before the wedding. 2. Communicating with the vendors regarding times they will be arriving, confirming what they may need, payments, etc. in the weeks leading up to the wedding. 3. DAY OF! Oh my goodness, Bridget and her assistant took all the boxes of décor we had and set-up our venue so beautifully, this was huge for me as it allowed my family, friends, husband and myself to just enjoy the day. They also packed everything away so nicely after the wedding. During the wedding she had everything running smoothly and if I needed anything she was always right there. One of the things I loved most about Bridget is how calm she is!! She mentioned when we initially met that this was a piece of positive feedback she received often from couples and that was why I hired her- I wanted someone that wasn’t going to seem anxious or stress me out. Thank you, Bridget!!
Chelsea Nacorda: I had the absolute pleasure of working with Bridget from Perfectly Posh Events and I couldn't have asked for anything better! She was so fun, understanding and patient with me throughout this entire wedding planning process! From the moment we met she eased my stress! I am definitely not the most organized or easiest person, but Bridget took all my scattered ideas and created the wedding of my dreams! He ended up coordinating with our photographer ahead of the wedding day which was a pleasant surprise and the two of them worked together to make all our photo+video needs go smoothly. He would often go above and beyond, such as jumping in during family photos to manage guests, and help make sure everyone was smiling and not in the way. We had multiple guests point out what a great energy Reid brought to the whole day! His turn around time for our videos were super quick, and being able to have a full recording of our ceremonies to share with family abroad was amazing. He was also super communicative leading up to, during, and after the wedding so we knew exactly what to expect. Don’t hesitate to book Reid, you really won’t regret it!

The videos featured great footage of us and our guests. Reid captured all of our toasts and our ceremony in great detail. Our highlight reel included everything we asked for and more; we had great shots of ourselves and our guests at the reception. The videos captured all the unique touches that we put into our wedding and really highlighted the venue for both the ceremony and the reception. We also did a live stream of our wedding for those who couldn’t make it, and the quality was perfect. There was nothing more we could have asked for in a videographer for our wedding day and we would strongly recommend Reid to anyone looking for someone to record footage of their big day.

After the wedding, the turnaround was very quick - only a couple of weeks to get our highlights video, full ceremony, and raw footage. kristina m.: Reid is awesome! We hired him to live stream our wedding since we had a lot of family out of state and it was important to me we had a reliable stream. He sent me a YouTube link weeks in advance so everyone was well prepared and I was instantly able to watch the stream after, which was SO nice to watch the next day over breakfast. It was shot beautifully and the audio is so clear… I wasn’t sure it would be worth the money but it really was. Couldn’t recommend enough!
