Erin Orosz: Love this place to shop and find specialty item for dinner, breakfast or an occasional lunch. What I love the most is that they have a very nice 'sit down and eat' area if you so choose to dine-in. Everything from their extensive cheese selection to their beautiful produce section, eachand every square inch of this store is just posh and lovely to browse.

Bojan Vukadinovic: If you're looking for the mixed items grocery store with a heavy European flavor,  look no further,  this is absolutely it. Not to mention bazillion their own custom brand named, custom flavored products. You can find multiple items here, that no other big chain grocery stores are carrying and most of those are to die for.  Been shopping there last 30years and prices have not gone that much up, if you can believe it.  Inflation,  what Inflation - good old $100 bill runs real loooooong in here, in good, or not so good times. Staff, always enthusiastic, polite and beyond helpful, no exceptions.

Nathan Gawlik: The only place in Seattle with good salt water taffy. We were in town from Austin on Father's Day and came by the shop. Randy took amazing care of us and let us try some of his delicious candy. He also makes his own fudge which is to die for! Skip Pikes Place's candy shops and just go right down the road to Sweet Mickey's. A guarantee you'll love it!

Ashley Anne: for the pick-what-you-want candy. They have tasty homemade chocolates at the counter. I got a Haystack and it was gone before I got to my car. Definitely stop by for a sweet treat.

Missy: This is one of the cutest candy shops I've ever seen. I love the layout. As you enter, it's candy drinks on your right followed by a wall of pick & mix style options from all over America & Europe, to the very back looked like some chocolates, to your left, unique and cute gift baskets for a number of occasions, and behind that the shop owner at the display and checkout counter, featuring in-house made truffles and fudge.I stuck to the pick&mix because for example there were candies from Italy & Canada I wanted to re-try, but also unique flavors I'd never imagined before such as "spicy Mango" which literally tasted like someone melted pepper and mixed it into the gummy. It's delicious if you're into interesting flavors. They had more traditional flavors as well like strawberry, grape, etc.The owner is polite and complimented my smile, so there's no way to add another star, because I can't but sure did help !

Suzie Casino: The first star is entirely earned by Ben in the Pharmacy. He is a gem with the utmost level of professionalism and soft manners and demeanor. The second star is earned for their organization, cleanliness and layout of this small storefront. I've noticed post-pandemic that they're really trying to keep the store clean, freshly stocked and looking bright. But they lose the rest of the points for the way they treat their customers and especially at their Starbucks stand.Employees at this Safeway do not know how to make a single Starbucks drink correctly and when you ask them to kindly adjust or remake, they will give you the stinkiest attitude. They will not honor Just4U coupons at their Starbucks or the store check-out even though you show them right there from your app that it isn't expired and fully active. The staff had the nerve to tell me that it must be an expired coupon as if an app can't update correctly 🤯 on the latest and greatest phone and with the expiry listed right there on the digital coupon for them to see and consider. I mean what rubbish.Sadly, they seem to treat every single customer as if they're going to rob the place and will touch your shopping bags when you're supposed to still social distance. Even if you have the receipt hanging out like you would at Costco, they'll still treat you like a criminal instead of focusing on the real zombies not those that are coming in after a long days work for water and meds from the pharmacy.Beware that shoppers will place their carts banged up against your car in the parking lot underneath. They don't have a care to place carts in the proper return area. Several times I've seen a cart against my car, hitting it when leaving, unfortunately. The parking lot is dirty and smelly as well.Be kind and helpful to your loyal patrons Uptown Safeway and take a chill pill. Maybe learn a few pointers from Ben on how to treat your good customers with appreciation and respect.UPDATED TO 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟They hired a new checker lady and I forget to get her name but she is so delightful and so very good at her job! I love all the sales that Safeway has and more Perks and Rewards with the Safeway App. Thank you Uptown Safeway for your improved patience and for hiring the most amazing checkers. There are many that instantly get added when you are checking out with a Safeway number.Typically check to see what is available via the aisle location on the app as well. Definitely has lots of stuff typically in stock but occasionally some items are not present.
