Tiffany Merriman: The team at The Home Care Company was instrumental in putting mine, and my siblings, minds at ease regarding the safety of our mom. She broke her hip and was a continued fall risk due to dementia. Her nighttime caregivers made sure that she was fully assisted getting in and out of bed safely. Paul was very good about communication and flexibility. Would definitely use the services again.

Meg Gem: Once we got respite care here in Issaquah, it makes such a difference for the caregiver and the patient. Especially when they are the same person coming on a regular basis so you get to know them and they get to know you. Steve Olmstead: Heather and her team help our family remain autonomous and get all the help in our home that we need. Both my parents have lost their memory and are at different stages of a long process of needing help. The Fedelta staff help us with medications, meals, laundry, driving to stores, shopping, medical appointments, companionship, haircuts, showers, cooking, cleaning and feeling that we CAN manage staying at home.They also help us work with our Long Term Care Insurance. It's amazing that this can all come from one team. They often do more for us than we expect. We live in another county. During the year we have been with Fedelta, we have not had to leave work early or make any sudden three hour drives to the family home in Seattle because Heather and her team are always there when we need them.

She took great care of her and gave me peace of mind so I could concentrate on my work. While we currently do not need the help, if we ever do in the future we will call on Fedelta again. Steven Stoller: The caregivers aren't necessarily perfect, but then no one on earth is perfect. I find their care almost universally outstanding and they indeed are very 'caring.' The only complaint is that one of them is always complaining that our house is too cold. That is not enough to change my rating, however, as I dare say that all of the others are marvelous and even he is quite good when he is doing his job.

We are dealing with alzheimers and Parkinsons and she was totally familiar with care for both conditions. She had great ideas for us as far as entertaining a person who has neuro losses and all information was appreciated. The positive thing about Synergy is that their plans do flex because we do not need care all day long. For us, being able to flex with our caregivers is essential at this point. I have a friend who is searching for help for friends and I referred them to Synergy for their quest. They need more time with a caregiver,so their needs are different than ours but Synergy can cater to these different needs

They found us two well trained, calm overnight caregivers for our medically complex family member - all on relatively short notice. This allowed me a much needed, worry-free break from caregiving. Ben Meyerhoff: Unfortunately I contracted Long Haul Covid in August of 2021. Upon release from a week in the hospital and a week in rehab, I returned home. I live alone and had no help although I was still quite ill. I engaged Home Instead initially for 7 days a week. After some trial and error with care givers, I had settled on essentially two care givers that provided me with excellent care and continue to do so on a much more limited basis. They learned to know my needs and my idiosyncrasies, my house and my dog very well and do certain chores on their own without my requesting it. Although they were young women, we became friends. I looked forward to the 4 or 5 hours that they spent with me. They did everything that I requested with a smile, which made life much easier for me when I really needed the assistance.Home Instead in the Seattle area has provided me with excellent support and assistance which allowed me to function at a level that I could not have done without them. Thank you Home Instead.
Janice Schwert: I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. When interviewing home care options, Nidhi Lama, the care coordinator, gave a presentation to us that stood out. We were impressed by her strong communication skills, her apparent organization and her friendly and caring personality.Those attributes have come into play on a regular basis in our dealings with Nidhi, her colleague, Kevin, and with the office staff at Home Instead. In addition to that, we value the flexibility shown by everyone we have communicated with.The care worker who comes to our house on a regular basis has a work ethic and level of responsibility that are beyond our expectations. In addition, she is highly skilled at what she does and has a supportive personality. Regina quickly learned the systems we have in place and has used her expertise to suggest some changes.Aside from being beyond satisfied with our interactions with the Home Instead team, the business end of the organization has consistently run smoothly, especially with their system of billing.We highly recommend Home Instead to anyone requiring the services they provide.
Ron La: The care and compassion we've received from Home Instead Seattle has been beyond any expectation. In particular, supervisor Nedhi has gone above and beyond to provide support and compassion. She really works hard to see to it that our care is provided for.

Our mother has mixed dementia, early stages, and we have been able to work with the Caregiver Coordinator to provide the best level of service hours and schedule the caregivers for the optimal care of our Mom's needs. In addition, having a trusted caregiver has significantly reduced the stress on me and my family and allowed our mother to stay living in her apartment. Casey Karp: The Seattle branch of Home Instead has been absolutely wonderful for us. My mother can be cantankerous when something isn't to her liking, and she wasn't happy about having 24/7 caretakers in her house. Kudos to the entire team who handled her with grace and aplomb.And a special call out to Kevin who repeatedly has gone above and beyond to meet our needs and deal with my mother's crankiness. Lining up service on an emergency basis starting on Christmas Eve and carrying through the entire holiday season was an impressive feat, and that's just a sample.
Walter Spencer: After a fall, we had Home Instead caregivers staying with my father 24/7 for about 6 months. Suffering from dementia, Dad could be difficult, but the caregivers from Home Instead were always kind, and patient with him. They were another set of eyes, alerting me to potential issues to discuss with the nursing staff. They were attentive to my quality of life concerns as well, and endeavored to not just keep him comfortable, but to also to keep him engaged and interested in his surroundings. The administrative staff was also very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I can highly recommend the caregivers and staff of Home Instead.
Rose Fjord: HomeInstead always pulled through for our mother, who was living in a different state and needed the extra assistance and supervision we could not provide. I was particularly appreciative that whenever there was a scheduling difficulty, or when we needed to make changes, they were able to accommodate, even on short notice. Sure, using a service like HomeInstead costs more than hiring an individual directly, but you get a lot of support without the drama. I'm particularly impressed with the Seattle team.

She really worked with us to help my mom feel comfortable with the process. my mom has not been thrilled to have someone help her in her home. Plus, my mom has a big dog that can seem scary at first, which makes finding a care aide challenging. I’m sure all of this poses a huge challenge for the care coordinator but she rose to the occasion.

She cleaned my apartment until it was spotless, restocked my kitchen with fresh food, did all my laundry, and helped me do things like open and sort through my accumulated mail.It was a great experience, and I’d definitely use them again in the future.

He was an excellent care provider—compassionate, and reliable. We felt grateful to have him helping us through a very difficult time. Sophia and Bethany in the office are also wonderful. They are very easy to reach by phone, and always return calls same day. There are a lot of agencies out there, but we had a great experience with Visiting Angels at a critical time.
