About 20 min after I left ,I received a call from the owner that my laptop is working now.The owner opened it,disconnected and reconnected a few things and it started to work. I authorized $ 150 for repairs without calling me,he could have just let it sit there for a few days and then charge me $150, I would of never known, but he didn't. The guy at GoEBITS on the Ave listened carefully to my description, asked questions, made no promises, took my laptop and charged me the diagnostic fee. He said they’d get back to me within two days - which they did. Fairly extensive corrosion: cleaning and soldering after repowering through a secondary source; all data preserved. About $200 worth of work - inexpensive for a big headache. Thanks, fellas.

In my case though, I do have a 13 yr old laptop that died and Apple wouldn't help. I had pictures from two big family events on it and some old family recipes. Eric Mueser: I've learned over the years to judge repair services not by how they handle at their best, but how they handle things when they go wrong.I needed them to clone and upgrade the SSD in my laptop and while cleaning the dust out, one of the internal fans broke. These things happen. They called me immediately, filled me in on what happened, ordered the parts, and fixed what they broke promptly and free of charge. They were upfront and transparent with everything and handled it exactly as I would've hoped.It's refreshing to see an honest, capable repair shop, and I'll definitely be using them again.

I’m a independent contractor - all my business is in my phone, when this happened, I wasn’t able to work @ all. I called Apple, phone was in such a bad state, I woulda had to send it back to Apple & doing so, woulda lost all my data. We all know how scary it is to be w/out our phone in this technological world but, when your entire livelihood is via your phone & you can’t access it, life literally stops. Here's what they repaired:An entire water bottle spilled inside my waterproof messenger bag pooling around a new macbook pro and sitting in it for about 20 mins. And this was just days over the 90-day warranty!I tried to air it out as best I could, but the entire screen was filled with water and I was sure the water had also gotten under the keys and into the hardware to fry the entire computer.I took it into ComputerCare expecting the worst. They took it for a few days, taking the entire machine apart to dry it and run it through every system check they could to make sure the water didn't ruin any of the hardware. They also aired out the screen.When I returned, they handed me my computer, I opened it up, and the only damage is a tiny, 3 mm circle, or water damage to the screen. 雙玉: Great experience!! I trusted Google reviews and came to this store instead of other ones closer to my house, and now it seems a wise choice. Nice staff with friendly attitude, and my Mac screen got replaced in an hour with a lower and more acceptable price, which would take 2 weeks according to what Apple Store told me. The only regret was the color of my screen seems a little bit different, since only Apple holds the program of fixing it to urge people to come to the Genius Bar so that everything can look EXACTLY the same. But the difference was subtle enough for me to ignored it. So, great experience overall, and will come back if I meet other issues with my devices.
Yikun Wang: I replaced the entire keyboard board on my laptop, and they not only gave me a professional explanation of what was wrong, but they also checked the entire circuit board and cleaned my microphone and other dust spots. They also helped me to keep the original keyboard board, if any of the keys out of the problem can be replaced at any time. What's more, they gave me a free six-month warranty. Very good service, very professional and attentive, very reasonable price.

My phone wasn't charging properly, so I took it in, and the extremely kind and professional worker there at the shop was able to clean out my charging port, to where it works just fine again. And they did not charge me this, at all!!! That is fine customer service, and great technical service. It's great to see independent shops like this one still going strong. Great place. Thanks again!
Shane Carlson: Stopped in to see if they had a phone case to buy for a new phone that I just bought because I knew it would not be long before I ended up dropping and breaking and unfortunately they did not have one for my exact model phone and asked if they had one that might fit good enough to get by until I could get the correct one.He not only found one that almost fit perfectly he even was kind enough to give it to me at no charge.The customer service was awesome and can really tell that they care about there customer.Not often you find people like this,I will definitely go back and see them again
