Matt Cobb: Went there for a blues event. The music was excellent. Service was good for the ratio. The food was mediocre. The po-boy tasted ok, but it and the fries came out barely warm. A po-boy is on french bread - not a sesame seed bun. That makes it a fish sandwich. The blackended catfish was good and came out hot. Go for the music and beers, eat beforehand elsewhere.

W Yim: Best jazz place in the Seattle area. The ambience of the place is fantastic and has a cozy high class vibe to it. Sound quality was excellent and the performers are not too far no matter where youn sit.

There was a bit of patron drama when a guest's hair ignited! It lead our group to speculate that drama may have prevented a Peabo encore--especially if the song would have been "Feel the Fire."

This means you might not be as close to the stage but when I say no seat is a bad seat at Jazz Alley I mean it!THE BEST PART: FREE PARKING in their covered parking garage right around the corner. Bring your parking tickets for validation.Easy entry, no refunds but easy transfers!Hot Tip: The Bar Stools facing away from the stage have no backs and low feet rungs for short people so keep that in mind. Otherwise it's a fun place to sit.Late April 2024 We took in an incredible night of music with The Willie Jones III Sextext, they tore it up but when Christie Dashiell came on to sing?! Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

There’s no bar up there so order your drink and head on up to find a comfy spot on the wall booth/couch or get yourself a little cocktail table. If you’re uncomfortable talking about racism, any/all sex related themes, and just the state of life as we know it in 2024, then this probably isn’t the place for you. It’s an open mic and you will be asked to go up and talk about your week or anything you might have on your mind that’s funny/relatable as this is an unprepared, improve style standup and they want you to participate if willing, but you can certainly just be an audience member. There is heckling/audience participation-ish to the amount that you want to be involved/not an interrupting audience member. There are seemingly regulars who show up and they were super welcoming and thankful to have new people in the space. Lisa M. de Rave: First time at The Funhouse, and I had a great time. Sweater For An Astronaut drove from Eugene to play here, and I was there to see them. It's totally worth the long drive.Excellent options at the Bar with tasty drinks like the Strawberry Lemonade Vodka w/7-Up. There is an Iron Maiden and Rush Pinball Machines. This is the place to see a band up close and personal. I really liked the Viking Skull Mural. The staff are friendly and clearly enjoy their jobs. Coincidentally, the music played between bands was a collection of my favorite artists. Violent Femmes, Germs, and many more were the perfect playlist.

Megan Thee Myth: Popped in for a drink after a trying day at the market. The drinks were delicious. The bartender VERY friendly. The overall atmosphere was great.

Our waitress was super attentive and really friendly. The food was fantastic! We had the baked Brie that came with soda bread and fruit. My husband had the flat-iron that was cooked perfect and I had the seafood pasta that was fresh and full of flavor. We each had a beer that was just as good as the food. We will definitely be back and would totally recommend the place for a laidback dining experience.

Yogi Donovan: The epic return of Motown Mondays! The best event based dance parties on the hill, and the most trustworthy establishment for upcoming talent in the state. Kind bartenders, decent space arrangement, and amazing dancers of all shapes colors and sizes. The only question is where to park to go!
