Although promised to be at the Fife warehouse on Saturday, when I called ahead they said they had delivered my appliance to someone else. I had to drive to Ballard to pick up the refrigerator because my elderly mother's refrigerator failed and she needs cool storage for medications. The store manager apologized and said that their system was to blame.

Benjamin Manne: Very thankful to Mark for his advice on our refrigerator repair. Although he wasn’t able to do the repair himself, he counseled me through his recommendations for getting it fixed by the supplier. Just an honest, friendly, and knowledgeable professional. I’ll absolutely reach out to Wiseman’s Appliance in the future.
Kayah Swanson: Mark showed up less than 24 hours after we reached out and fixed our problem in under an hour for less than he originally quoted us. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Brandon Knox: Called on Monday and a new Dishwasher, the exact model we wanted that wasn't even in stock, was installed by Friday. When I called, Steve Wiseman answered the phone and helped with my order and installation schedule. The price was competitive, maybe slightly better, than the big box stores, but the service is on another level. Steve was very responsive by phone and email. I also love that the installers are part of an in-house team, not contractors, and so both accountable to the business I purchased from, and invested in the same great service we received from Steve. The installers were on time, professional, and did an amazing job. 100% buy your appliances from Wiseman over the big box retailers.

Luckily I called Wiseman’s and they were able to help get us a new fridge very quickly, going out of their way to help. The delivery / installers were very through and had great communication. I would 100% recommend and use them again.
Mohammad Kanso: I needed to replace my built-in panel-ready dishwasher in my condo unit. The process was complex because it required removing and re-installing the panel door on top of the dishwasher. Steve and his team did a fantastic job and walked me through the process step by step. He was very kind and was patient as we dealt with scheduling delays. I would definitely recommend Wiseman appliances!
Chris Casiano: Had a repair person tell me our old dishwasher was dead. Called around to get a new one, couldn’t get the one we wanted that also matched our kitchen and couldn’t get it sooner than 8-10 days— an eternity when you have to hand sanitize bottles for an infant.Finally got to Wiseman. They had an in-stock model that we were looking for, perfect for our needs, and had it delivered and installed the following day, all at about the same price as the big box stores with longer lead times and no personal touch. Everyone we worked with was fantastic, from Amber the sales manager to Steve who kept us informed on where the delivery team was at to John and his apprentice on the delivery team.
Paul Loeb: Wonderful folks. Been using them for 25 years. I love using a family owned company like this. Prices are competitive. They give you great advice on which appliances work for your needs in a way that you can't get from a big box store. They deliver promptly when the appliances come in are available to answer small questions that come up, and if something does go wrong, a couple of the family members do service as well, and will do everything they can to keep your appliances running if it makes sense. We feel lucky to have them in our West Seattle neighborhood.
Lea P: I've bought 7 appliances from Wiseman's. The staff are hometown friendly and earnest. I'm glad they've weathered the supply disruptions of the Covid era. This is a local business worthy of lifelong patronage.
Tom Haseltine: The in-store staff is very friendly and helpful; and the service personnel arrived in a timely manner and performed the work professionally. Additional granite-cutting work was needed and they gave a referral that was also prompt and professional. I've bought several different appliances from Wiseman's and am happy with the products, people and pricing.
Susan Davis: I've bought a stove, and washer/dryer from them. No hard sell, just good old-fashioned decent service and products. It might cost a little more than the big box stores, but I'm all for supporting local businesses.
Martin Sherry: . So not finding a decent freezer for sale anywhere, we drove up to Wiseman’s and lo and behold they could get us a freezer! It was delivered by them in a few weeks later and seemed ok, but upon closer inspection we saw the door was damaged and the door seal leaked causing ice to form inside— not good. This wasn’t Wiseman’s fault, it came out of the box it came in that way. But much to Wiseman’s credit within a few weeks they delivered us a replacement freezer of the same brand and model, a little smaller but it will work just fine for our freezer needs. They stand behind their products and if it’s not right they make it right! We had also bought our Maytag clothes washer and drier from them several years ago and both products have worked perfectly since their installation. I’d say for your appliance needs skip the big box retailers and start with Wiseman Appliance in West Seattle, Martin & Barbara Sherry

Glenna Diefendorf: I purchased my dishwasher from Frederick's in 2017. Recently, I had a few issues with it that a repair company couldn't solve. So I reached out to Frederick's for some reputable referrals for repair work. I was given several business names, but in the end, Frederick's made the repairs with a really skilled repairman who knew everything about my machine! That said, they do not normally do repairs...only installations of new appliances. But I have bought all my kitchen appliances plus washer and dryer from them. They are a top notch business with great PR skills!

Staff is super friendly, they're really helpful if you want to ask about how clothing should fit you and clothing maintenance too, they make the place clean and provide masks and hand sanitizer. Also they're nonprofit and all funds go towards a great cause, which is helping people with chronic illnesses meet basic needs like food, shelter, etc.

Aastha Chandra: went here every day on a trip to seattle just to look at the homewares—clothes are good brands and for an older audience but the homewares are the real gem here, rotating quickly. i especially loved how the decor was sorted by color/style and interspersed above the clothing racks. brought home unique decor and many pictures in my camera roll of interesting items~

Security got video of the guys face & gave it to the cops that showed up 🤯 I thought everything was legal now a days but these guys were on it! Dont recommend using the steps outside. Got a knife pulled on me there couple years ago & it hasn’t improved.You can still find an occasional deal that slips passed the merchandisers but it’s not like it used to be. Is anything Seattle?

Not sure what everyone else is complaining about, everyone else there usually has a whole cart full of stuff they are buying. Everything is dirty, dusty and you need to shower when you get home. This is a very busy and popular store, it gets VERY crowded when they bring the new bins out. Lots of resellers. Have fun! It's an experience for sure. 😊

Everyone was very knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful during the whole process. Lyle was wonderful and made it very easy for us! We appreciate the time that was taken with the couple of times we came in and answering all our questions. The delivery process was also fantastic! They called ahead of time and were early. The installation process was easy, and the two guys did a wonderful job. I wish I remembered their names! But thank you so much! We will definitely be recommending to everyone to use Arnolds Appliance!

Vyacheslav Borisenko: Excellent and very professional service that has client's best interest in mind. They call me in advance to let me know that they are delivering and at what time and did excellent install and fast, have shown me how appliances work and how to operate it. I am comparing these guys to Albert Lee Appliances; I bought washer and dryer from them and they could not deliver it to me, Albert Lee scheduled time for me 8 AM to 12 PM and I took half day off and they could not deliver and were very rood to me when I called them. I had to return my items to Albert Lee and go to Arnod's, I made and right choice.
Kirk Pearson: We bought our washer and dryer from Arnold’s and went back when we needed a refrigerator as ours had decided to give up the ghost. The salesperson was the same guy who sold us our set so we went through the showroom looking at the refrigerators. He then apologized that even if we found something due to their software upgrade over the weekend, we would have to wait about 2 weeks for delivery. He then suggested we try another local store if we were really in need. Needless to say, we did end up going with the competition, but will always keep Arnold’s in mind in the future.
