The Vera Project: what do users think?

Erin Simmons: Vera hosted Rain City Rock Camp’s Lotto Band showcase recently and it was a blast!Cheyenne was so welcoming, friendly, and truly cared about making sure we all had a wonderful experience on stage.

Trinidad Grindad: Great inclusive atmosphere. Fun events!

Lawrence Fosnick Davis: Honestly, we didn't know much about it when our son's group was asked to perform. Still not clear on the scope of what the venue is doing. But from limited exposure it seems very interesting. The space is really comfortable and the exhibits and shows are all ages. Had a very nice visit.

Katt Purington: It's the Vera! What do I need to say? Been going to events there for over a decade and then some. Love the ethos, love the volunteers, love the vibes!

Roq La Rue Gallery: what do users think?

Lindsey Morgan: I have a wonderful experience every time I visit ☺️❤️

Franklin Falkowski-Sorensen: A fantastic gallery with monthly shows. The owner has been in business for 25 years and has great taste in pop-surrealist artists and I’ve been amazed by every artist’s work that she has curated. I have a painting I purchased from her in a prominent place in my home and I admire it everyday. Follow them on Instagram to get sneak peaks and to learn when the next show is and don’t be afraid to step in to enjoy the art. You might just find your new favorite piece!

Jason D. Nemeth: My favorite art gallery in Seattle. If you like surrealism, check them out.

Gavin Lees: Now closed. I miss this place every First Thursday.Edit: That review was out of date. They have since reopened and are as great as ever!

Sam Luna: Good

Dean Grey: Awesome plz be respectful

Rhonda James: Enjoy the art

A/NT Gallery: what do users think?

Arvand Amini: Hypnotiq Design and the ambiance

Lori Davis-Sandoval: What a gem in our Seattle Center community! So many different kinds of art and all really brilliant! They have a lot to offer to artists and patrons. What a gift!

Laura: It was a bit difficult for me to find as I am directionally challenged and they’re a literal 10minute walk from me, but definitely worth the visit! Donations are encouraged but the entry is free of charge. Good little pit stop if wandering around the mountain and the area altogether. Can’t wait to see their future exhibits. Hoping to attend an opening of these days.

Charlene Orseth: Check out Charlie O

Dianna M: Eclectic, wondrous gallery, featuring creations by local artists. We came in to view the Kraken jerseys, which were featured on the news. But there was so much more to see!Friendly and knowledgeable volunteer! We picked up a small painting but could have selected more.Worth the visit!

Tristan Heberlein: A sweet gallery right in the heart of the Seattle Center. It's an artists collective, so artists get 85% of the proceeds of their sale, rather than the mere 50% at your typical gallery. Also, any artist can pay a modest fee to showcase their work here. There is no gatekeeper. Which means you can pay a fee, get your work shown, and hopefully have an audience to view it. It's largely run by volunteers and they get some funding from the city. In a city where arts is often monopolized by a few, this place is sorely needed. It's also been in existence in various locations since 1988, which is pretty dang cool if you ask me.

C Priest: Very cool gallery with amazing exhibits in a great location

George Vernon: Been a member mor or less since 1989. Place is great for 2d and 3d art. It is non-juried so no worries about exhibiting there. Hanging fees are the most reasonable and haven’t found a gallery like this yet.

Drüe Bloch: What a great gallery! Right in the heart of Seattle center next to the fountain. Best of all, it was FREE! I wondered in and was amazed at the diversity in the styles, media and textures of the art. It's a collective of artists that show at the gallery so the art rotates every month.

Kris V. Bernard: Really lovely artwork. Enjoyed a writer’s reading here as well. Wonderful space.

Jason Andrews: If you're an artist, the setup of the organization and the people who run it are extremely helpful and generous

MadArt Studio: what do users think?

Lisa Fruichantie: At a time when our art galleries are disappearing, we need conversation that bridges connection through diverse perspectives. MadArt provides a straightforward container for a transformative experience by curating artists that offer fodder for both visual appeal and rich dialog to flourish.

John Taylor: A gallery exhibition space with art made by artist in the space. This is not a gallery to come and purchase something to take home. Art and especially sculpture needs a place to be seen and enjoyed. Madart does this very well.

Hayley Serres: We had such a wonderful Wedding thanks to MadArt Studio!! The venue and location are fantastic! Katie, the main contact, was so helpful and easy to work with. If anyone needs to plan an event in Seattle, I would 100% recommend MadArt!

Roger Knopf: A veritable blank canvas of a studio, and when we visited artist Alison Stigora had taken full advantage by constructing huge floor to ceiling swirl of driftwood with some pieces weighing about 2500 pounds!

Val G: We attended a wedding here. I think it is a very cool space! BEAUTIFUL place for a small to medium size wedding. My only complaint was how hot it was in there! I am talking miserable, sweat dripping in your eyes, shirt drenching HOT!!! Don't know if there was no A/C or if it wasn't working properly. This is the the reason for the 4 stars.

Evan Minichiello: Great space. Clean. Easy to schedule and easy access for some amazing exhibits

Stacey Warren: Always something interesting too see here.

Paula Stokes: Once again MadArt knocks it out of the park with this fantabulous installation by Casey Curran.

Claire Cowie: Always an incredible art installation to see. Sometimes you can interact with the artist in person, while they're in-process.

Urban Light Studios Photography: what do users think?

wareham metta: This place is the best photo studio i have been, i went there for my mother's day family portrait and i was so pleased with the service i received from here, she an excellent job, especially with my 6 months old son..

Chelsea Palmer: This place is such a great place to hold an event. This studio is so eclectic and lovely. I’ve gone to three events there and all of them were radically different, and all managed to worked seamlessly in the space. Definitely worth a check out if you’re looking for any type of venue for an event.

John Hunter: Great place for artwalk every month. Beautifully styled and furnished, great venue for wedding reception/etc

Alissa McGuire: Kimberly was an excellent host, and exceeded all of our expectations. She was very responsive and flexible. One big opportunity for improvement for ULS: we did not like that we were required to hire from a short list of "preferred vendors" for catering and bartending to avoid expensive fees. Most of the "preferred vendors" were unresponsive or refused to work with us given the number of guests ULS allowed us to have. Very cool atmosphere enjoyed by bride, groom, and guests. We liked that we didn't have to do much decorating.

Jenn Moore: We had my neice's wedding here! Perfect for a small wedding. Really really hard to find in the dark, and the pay lot behind here only lets you pay with your phone.

Brittany Huckey: I loved the feel of this place. There was a lot to look at.

Mark Parris: Great space and loads of scenes to choose from.

D Sloan: beautiful small venue!!!

I was in Seattle for an event for several days and missed the shop while it was open but the kinetic sculpture in the front window really drew me to the place. Sarah Kusz: As a local artist I love selling my work through Venue. Diane and the team have created such a lovely eclectic spot! It’s also my go to whenever I need a gift for someone or a nice souvenir for a visitor. It’s also in an unbeatable location for a first time visitor to the city. Love this spot!

Heather Baglien: I go here for any gift I need to buy for anyone and have separated my home with art from venue. Love this store!

Chris Kelner: Cute local handmade goods. Great for gifts or decorating your home.

Taylor Childers: Nice selection from local artists. Good place for upscale tourist shopping or for locals looking for ballard gear.

Anne Davenport: Really excellent space for artists and patrons, alike. Helpful and professional staff. Lots of affordable art and gifts.

Jesse Poitier: Visited Venue today after brunch. I wish I got the name of the clerk working today. I know she was the only one there today, but she was so sweet and really attentive when I was checking out with my friends. Her conversation with me was great and she naturally made a nice connection with me and my two friends! Also I am in love with the unique candles and soap they offer in the store! A little pricey but it’s worth it knowing the money goes to a local business and the artists that sell their products at Venue! I highly recommend swinging by on Sunday, after brunch, while shopping at the fresh market in downtown Ballard!
