Yun Zhang: I am extremely grateful for the life-saving treatment I received from Doctor Su, Doctor Chen, and Doctor Xiao. Before I reached out to seek their help, I had been in a non-stop period for over three months. I had to take on hormone treatment to stop this problem, which had lasted for two months without success, and once I tried to discontinue taking hormone medicine, the bleeding would start increasing. In addition, taking hormone medicine made me feel even sicker and weaker. I was so lucky that I found this team when I felt that my health was reaching its breaking point. After several treatments, including several times of acupuncture from Dr. Xiao and two weeks of taking traditional Chinese herbs prescribed by Dr. Chen, my lengthy bleeding problem was completely gone. The subsequent ultrasound examination and biopsy show that everything is normal. I cannot imagine what I would have to endure if I had not met this amazing team. Again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Su, Doctor Chen, Doctor Xiao, and the supporting staff.

JC Morris: My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lin almost weekly for about 4 months now for Mold Toxicity detox as well as for Autoimmune Disease and she has done for us what no other western medicine doctor has been able to do. We have seen our daily hives breakouts reduce and almost diminish completely where as our PCP just told us to take antihistamine basically indefinitely. We have also noticed our inflammation and chronic pain reduce significantly. She is honestly a miracle worker and such a special soul. She understands that in order to heal a body it consists of healing the body, mind and soul. Emily, the receptionist is always such pleasure to deal with also. I've been late for my appointment a few times due to downtown city traffic and they have always been very kind to me about it as to not stress me out. They truly care about their patients, I cannot recommend acupuncture and this clinic enough!

Be a Renegade: My husband I are both going to Ballard Acupuncture Center and we are seeing miraculous improvements in our pain and inflammation levels. I typically slept very well following her treatments and over time all my symptoms improved. She also treated a chronic ankle injury and it helped with the swelling and inflammation. I can't recommend HyeJung enough! She is a very skilled practitioner!
Robyn Fisher: I sprained my ankle really badly while trail running, and after 2 weeks it wasn't getting better. An xray at urgent care showed it wasn't broken, but my ankle had turned black & green nearly up to my knee, and my limping had caused back problems too. I found this place from a Google search. The day after my first session, I had dramatic improvements. Less inflammation. Less pain. More mobility. I finally got an MRI and I did in fact have a small fracture, which was likely only recognizable because the acupuncture has reduced inflammation enough to have clear imaging. I can't recommend Hyejung enough. A real miracle worker.

Charles Smith: There is amazing care here. I've seen Roxane multiple times for acupuncture and energy healing. She is a kind listener, well versed in her craft, and exceedingly intuitive. An all around exceptional healer. The office staff is also top notch. They are friendly and down to earth, and have made a herculean effort working to get my insurance in line.

Rhonda Knuckey: There are many aspects of Dr. Lee and her staff I appreciate but what stands out the most is the time Dr. Lee takes to listen. I have had more medical issues than most people experience, unfortunately. The treatments left my body, mind and spirit broken and shutting down. Trying to get a primary care provider to listen to me began to feel impossible. For as many times as I tried to explain not being able to sleep or being in pain, I felt ignored. I decided to seek Naturopathic medicine after not getting answers about symptoms I was experiencing. Dr. Lee had me fill out a questionnaire but then spent an hour listening to me describe what I was experiencing. At the end, she gave me suggestions and information to help me decide on my next steps. Every appointment starts with time to talk about progress and discuss options. The other aspect I really appreciate is taking each step one at a time. Rather than suggesting a multitude of supplements all at once, Dr. Lee gave me a starting point. I am so grateful for her guidance, knowledge, caring attitude and listening skills. I am finally getting a good night’s sleep and my energy level and outlook on life are improving. I am so grateful. Thach Huynh: Hi, let me start off by saying what a pleasure it was being treated by Dr. Diane Lee. Not only is she very professional but also very personable. Unlike most modern day Doctors who just want to prescribe you pharmaceuticals she got to the root of my problem.I suffered from ulcerative colitis. For a year my IBS specialist just went through the text book prescribing me one pill after another. After a long 12 months of pills on top of pills I felt deflated as nothing would help keep me in remission longer than 4-5 weeks. I then was referred to Dr. Diane Lee through a long time friend and I can now say that I have been in remission for 5 months now.Her methods of rebuilding rather than masking the problem has yielded great results for me. Through supplements, diet and knowledge I am now loving life again.A simple review cannot measure the amount of appreciation that I have for what she has done for me. I am forever grateful.

Emily Hickey: I have seen Dr. Lee for two office visits so far and in those two visits she has been way more helpful than any other doctor I have seen. She had me get my blood work done right away and has helped form a plan for me to see if I am seeing improvement. Part of my problem is my stress level and in the past other doctors have said “oh, you are just stressed” and done nothing. Dr. Lee actually is helping me and listening to what I am saying. I am amazed at the results I have experienced, even after my first appointment I saw results for both issues. Dr. Lee always answers any questions I have and gives great background on needle placement and such. I would totally recommend her!

Dona Rozanski: After suffering with horrendous gut issues that were unresolved after various doctor visits over the course of several years, I turned to Dr. Diane Lee for help based on her online information regarding her understanding and treatment of histamine intolerance — the one thing I knew for sure that was wrong, although I knew there had to be more. I went to her with the hope that she maybe held the key to the solutions to my problems somewhere within her digestion knowledge, and I wasn’t disappointed. My digestion was so messed up that I was nauseated most of the time, unable to eat very much at any time, and was rapidly losing weight. Other problems were surfacing as a result, and so it was in desperation that I arrived at her office. She first did a minor test after asking many pertinent questions, and then immediately put me on a program that almost instantly started making me feel better. Although it took a few months of hard work to climb out of digestive hell, with her help, I am so much better that I can hardly believe now how badly I was before I saw her. In the meantime she is also helping me with some other nagging health problems as well. I like to tell everyone, “She saved my life.”

Even when I was living full time out of the states her attentiveness towards resolving my discomfort or questions did not change. I enjoy how Dr. Lee would always have many different recommendation as solutions to fit my lifestyle. I have a slight fear of needles and her techinique of inserting accupuncture needles works very well for me and does not make me nervous or stress me out. Overall, I have always enjoyed my experience with her and have learnt a lot of new things from her. I always talk about her practise to my friends and family and most of them are also patients of hers. Chloe Alethia: I have been seeing Dr. Lee weekly since early 2018 for fatigue and pain management. Before seeing Dr. Lee my average daily pain levels were roughly an 8 and now they are currently averaging about a 4-5. For pain management, Dr. Lee has performed acupuncture, trigger point injections and cupping. At the beginning of each visit she spends time to follow up on previous visits and listen to new concerns. Not only is Dr. Lee excellent at performing these treatments but she is extremely good at listening, explaining her concerns and educating her patients. I highly recommend her.

We had a brief conversation prior to and following my treatment. That evening, I slept better than I had for weeks and felt immediate relief from weeks of painful symptoms. Lynn also provided a consultation on herbal medicine specific to my condition.Anyone squeamish about needles should know that Lynn has a very deft and skilled touch and I felt no discomfort during the treatment. Gwen Wines: I wasn't sure about about getting acupuncture in a residential area. Since it is aresidential area, parking is limited; street parking. Once I entered I felt so relaxed. The business Sloth Around Community Acupuncture is ran out of the downstairs of the person's home. It's very beautiful inside. It's not ADA accessible, about 8 steps, with a grab-bar you can hold onto. Their is a very nice bathroom inside. The toilet is low to the ground, with no grab-bar; so be careful. Lynn the person who performed the acupuncture on me, has knowledge and experience. This location is reasonably priced, it offers a sliding scale rate. Walk-ins are ok. I was able to take pictures, hopefully I'll get to add them later.

Lori N: I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had to share my recent experience with Acupuncturist Monica Legatt at Seattle Acupuncture and Holistic Health. Recently, I experienced a lot of health issues - from tingling sensations in my arms and hands, cervical stenosis in my neck and shoulder and burning sensations as well as lumbar stenosis in my back resulting in numbness in my left leg and foot. Despite undergoing a series of traditional methods to get better and a whole lot of MRI’s, CT scans and blood work, traditional medicine could not provide me any significant relief. My only option was to live with it until I was ready to have surgery.I decided to turn to Acupuncture and based on Monica’s great reviews decided to begin treatment with her. The past couple of months of Acupuncture treatments have provided me significant relief and I am almost feeling like my old self. In addition, the full-on numbness in my left foot - which was getting to be a daily issue making it hard for me to walk and completely impacting my day to day activities is now down to a tingle in my left foot and I as I continue to receive treatment with Monica I know my condition will only improve. If you have tried traditional methods and drugs to regain your health and want to begin feeling better, Monica has an uncanny intuition and great skill as an acupuncturist and will be a great help you in your recovery.
