ArcAngel: Beautiful view, delicious coffee and delightful staff. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was charming. Not too pricey either!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options on their breakfast menu such as waffles, french toast, bagels, parfait, omelets and pastries!!
Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.
Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

She will give you a dining experience like no other. The highlight of my visit was definitely her service.The food was outstanding. We tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, and the mimosas, which came in different flavors and were delightful. The salmon was incredibly flavorful, and the appetizers were amazing. Every aspect of my dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning.A special thanks to Chrissy for her phenomenal service and for creating such a wonderful experience for us. She truly elevated the art of serving to a whole new level. I would also like to mention the manager who came to our table; it was a nice touch. Overall, I would give this place 10 stars because five stars are simply not enough for this exceptional restaurant.

Mary Wynn: 30 years ago, minus 2 days, we had our wedding reception at Saltys. We stopped by today on our way home from a night in Seattle and decided to swing through West Seattle. Randomly, we thought we would step into Saltys for some random skyline photos, then it dawned on us..our anniversary was 2 days away. We had not planned on staying but they were so great and we thought it was very nostalgic. Mara the manager treated us like royalty. She sprinkled the table with rose petals, gave us a signed staff congratulations card, drinks on the house, cake to die for and John F, the server was a top notch professional. There is a reason we had spent so much time there through the years, but this day was over the top special and the staff sealed the deal. We have been away too long. One of the photos was from 30 years ago. Thank you John F and Mara.
Andy Derscheid: Always a great experience here, for locals and tourists alike. You can't beat the view and the service, and the food and presentation match its quality. Plenty of fresh seafood and excellent steaks. Definitely get the seafood chowder no matter what you order. Solid cocktails and truly top notch service. All in all a fantastic experience.Parking: There is on-site parking but the spots are small, so leave the full size trucks at home.

If your busboy has made it into my review you have really made good hiring choices!!And that’s just the people. The FOOD. The food was to die for. To start we got the Thai chili prawns, and the moved on to a crab-stuffed sturgeon and a halibut with mushroom risotto. To finish up we got a crème brûlée and the delicious cake you can see in the photos
Kennedy Farmer: This is my first review I’ve ever left because it was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and all the staff there made it feel so special! The food and views were great, I highly recommend the crab stuffed steelhead! Our server Ignacio was super friendly and patient when we were being indecisive about how to start our orders. This is a great place to go for a special occasion, we will definitely be returning!

From the moment we were greeted by our server, who was impressively friendly without being artificial, to his insightful explanations about the nuances of Piemonte cuisine against other part os Italy, the service truly stood out.Although the tarjarin, their specialty, wasn't quite to my taste due to my personal preference for thicker and al dente pastas, the nettle risotto was absolutely divine, elevating my dining experience we never had such delicious risotto before. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.While the milk pork was a bit unconventional and leaned towards the sweeter side, it didn't quite hit the mark for me but it was wellk prepared. I'm intrigued to explore their dessert offerings on a future visit, as there was unfortunately no room left after our satisfying meal.The ambience, with its tasteful Italian-inspired decor, transported us to Italy, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Aneka Zarger: I loved everything about this location. The food was delicious and their offerings have something for everyone. The food came out fairly quickly considering how busy the location was. Our waitress and the sommelier were both helpful in answering questions about pairings or dishes. I highly recommend trying their sipping chocolate as you may overlook it! While the venue is smaller and can get a bit loud due to acoustics, they do a fairly nice job of maximizing the space they have.

Every interaction is polite, attentive and professional.We have gone to Altura for my birthday two years in a row. We will be going again for our anniversary in two months.Both experiences, the food and presentations were beautiful and delicious. Each menu was a different experience with a few staples we loved from our previous visit. Everything is amazing, there wasn't a single item or dish we were even slightly disappointed by. Coonoor Behal: This place is out of this world, I can't believe I don't see it on more "Best of" lists for Seattle. I prioritize "event meals" in my life and this is easily in my top 10 ever. Was fortunate enough to get off the waitlist and take my parents there for Christmas Eve and it was a delight start to finish. Food is just jaw-droppingly moan-worthy, every single item took our breath away. I got the wine pairing and loved it...they for sure snuck in some extra wines for me too but didn't make a big deal out of it! Service is lovely and clearly professional but also relaxed. Love the look of the place too, more like a taverna rather than a stiff, white table cloth place you'd imagine at this price point and quality.

James Wald: so they didn't need any extra sauce. The Australian Wagyu NY Strip was cooked perfectly and was delightfully tender, with a nice grilled flavor. I didn't care for the potent sesame steak sauce. Overall, this is an impressive restaurant for the size and their attention to detail is noticed and appreciated.Dietary restrictions: No one asked, and it didn't seem like modifications would be made if requested

I do like the location, the ease of parking and the vibe of the restaurant, but I probably wouldn’t come back for the food alone. I have to say, though the happy hour menu is one of the best ones in Seattle if you’re looking for budget and quality.

Catloverextreme _: and it was a pleasurable experience. Great modern jazz playing at a comfortable level on the speakers and pleasing lighting and ambiance. There were 2 servers and 2 chefs. The servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen was open so you could watch the chefs prepare everything. I've cooked in this setup before in restaurants so my only gripe was at one point one of the chefs was on his phone...he used gloves while preparing the food but nothing will take me out of the moment and potentially gross me out more than a food service worker on their phone. Who knows, maybe he was checking his Bitcoin bag, it's been pumping lately, lol. I won't fault them for that, everyone is glued to their phone these days. This place is wildly awesome and I will be going back whenever possible. I'm not from the area, visit alot from Alaska so the neighborhood was not familiar to me but it was chill and safe feeling with other restaurants and bars. I was staying in the downtown area so it was about a 35 dollar uber ride one way. All in all 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Tiffany Jorgensen: I've been coming here for around twenty years. The food is always consistent and lovely.The service goes above and beyond. Granted this was about a decade ago, but one time my child left their bag and they held onto it till or next visit. Which was several weeks later. They have always done a great job, even when it's busy or the guest is less than stellar.So glad you guys didn't close. Thanks for everything. Your hard work is noticed and appreciated!
Hak Williams: What a gem. I believe this was Anthony Bourdain's favorite restaurant in Seattle. So French and simple and unassuming. If you love chocolate you can't leave Seattle without trying their hot chocolate. It's the most chocolate and heavy cream you can combine into one sip. You can go for a light lunch or a late breakfast or an afternoon coffee and dessert, or you can go for dinner. The whole chicken for two looks like a smart bed, and the fish is always a good idea. The charcuterie and cheese is also a winner. The steak frites was very good, but it doesn't beat an American Steakhouse kind of steak if that's what you are into. The wine by the glass is 4 or $5 more affordable than other nearby restaurants. In France this would be considered a bistro, which is on the more casual end of the spectrum. But there may be no exact equivalent to France because this place serves more than one function. It's a cafe, a bar, and a bistro. If you're in the area and need a little pick me up you can go in just for a hot chocolate or a coffee. Their espresso service is top notch. I was having dinner there late last night and a couple came in and just ordered a whiskey and a hot chocolate as their nightcap.
Michael Cook: First and foremost a restaurants priority is to serve good food, and this place made up for a multitude of sins by having really amazing, tasty, well prepared/seasoned food that is being done by a seriously competent back of house staff. I had the steak frites, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had, and was perfectly cooked rare to my preference. The chicken tartine was beautiful, my companion had the fish of the day and it was incredibly seasoned and sauced. Beautiful food.The service though was awful, we weren’t greeted for about 10 minutes in a tiny restaurant, all the staff looked at us but didn’t say anything. We were forgotten about a bit, the staff seemed more interested hanging out with the lush at the bar who seemed to be taking all the air out of the room.We asked for our bill, the server dropped it off, changed her clothes and left. We then waited half an hour to pay, and finally were acknowledged and told we had to give our cards to them, as if we should've known.The 20% automatic gratuity is a flaw, theres no motivation for the server to love the table and go the extra mile, they just phone it in. The way it’s put on the menu is that the customer is paying for their benefits and commission, and if we feel the service isn’t up to 20% it’s up to the customer to ask to have it removed. That’s just bad business and an unnecessary duty to put onto the customer.But the food was amazing, and that’s what’s important, and what saved the whole experience

She served us and literally put up me asking so many questions.I had the duck and it was just as good a five sales in Vancouver BC. Just amazing.And here is the green drink I asked for. We call it the Ben 10. Ask for it today too!
Henry SooHoo: Service was very friendly and speedy. The servers were patient and answered questions we had about the options as well as attentive about refilling beverages. The food itself was decent but I would not say special. The Turkish apricot waffles were novel but too sweet in my opinion. Even forgoing the syrup, I struggled to eat the last few saccharine bites.
Michael Williams: The service provided by the gentleman, was as good as the dish! The best, most creative rendition of lox on toast that I have had. The ricotta was a revelation. STEVE CUMMINGS: Everything was perfect. from the complimentary valet parking to the post-WW II dark wooden interior We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the service was just excellent. Attentive, but not pushy or robotic. For a hotel restaurant, prices were reasonable. Best part of our experience was the welcoming notice at the bottom of a real menu asking us not to use electronic devices or cell phones. Everyplace should have such a polite request highlighted. I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.
Swanky Christy: . Service was very good, chef came and talk to us as well as a restaurant manager and we shared our feedback. Overall we had a good experience here and as a downtown locals we will consider this restaurant when we want nice Mediterranean cuisine.
