Livwithbiv: I highly, highly recommend the Downtown Dog Lounge - SLU. From the evaluation, to daycare, to boarding they have shown excellent care to my dog. We are currently having an issue with flight delays while out of state, and they are very easy to communicate with and have helped me to not worry about Lola while we are going through an already frustrating situation. The staff is absolutely amazing!!

Gigi Carter: If I could give 10 stars, I would. The staff at Downtown Dog Lounge Ballard saved my dog's life. Max is an older dog and rescue with several underlying health conditions, but has been stable for several months. Earlier this year, the vet told us Max's heart condition would worsen, but he couldn't pinpoint when. My husband and I planned a much-needed long holiday weekend in Dallas with close friends. We dropped Max and our other pup off at DDL on Thursday. Saturday night I received a text message and video of Max. His tongue was blue and he was having a very hard time breathing. With my approval, they immediately took Max to the emergency vet where they intubated and gave him oxygen and sedation. After speaking with the emergency vet, it was clear that the attention paid to Max, and quick action of the Downtown Dog Lounge staff saved my dog's life. I cut my trip short and flew back first thing Sunday morning to rush to the hospital. After talking through everything with the vet, Max was discharged from the hospital with new medications that he is tolerating very well. I know we don't have much time left with Max, but as someone who loves her dogs dearly I don't want to not be there when something happens. However, the care, love, attention and excellent communication of the staff at DDL made all the difference. Thank you! I'm deeply grateful.

K H: Despite that I live in the neighborhood and can see Martha's Garden from my living room window, I may have to start driving my pup there when she goes to daycare. Why? Because she is *so excited* to go to MG, that it's absolutely impossible to walk her on leash for half a block to get there. We do a lot of fun stuff together, but I'm pretty sure MG is her favorite place in the whole world. Not having to feel guilty when I put my pup in daycare or boarding is life-changing! I'm so glad we found a place where she gets mental enrichment and lots of love from humans as well as supervised playtime.
Sophie Ostlund: Martha's Garden is outstanding. They take such good care of our dog - they were patient and understanding as he got acclimated, and now he can't wait to go to daycare. We love that he not only gets to play, but also gets lightweight training and consistent positive reinforcement for good behaviors when he's there through their scheduled activities. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic daycare.

Our puppy started getting groomed here at 4 months, and has started attending day care and continued getting groomed there in the last couple of months. We have had great experiences both with the grooming, day care, and admin staff. Plus our dog seems excited when we walk in, so she must enjoy it too. I would recommend this place to anyone, but especially those with young puppies looking for early grooming exposure and socialization opportunities. Plus, parking is easy.

Thomas Essex: Mona and her team are amazing. I am a Social Worker in the ED at the VA hospital. Often we have Vets come to the ED and because of a medical emergency have to be admitted and have a service or support animal who needs on the spot care. On at least 4 separate occasions over past year Mona and her team have stepped in to ensure a Veteran has the reassurance their dog is well cared for. On the day of the severe ice storm last winter we had a Vet fall and break a hip, they had no way to care for their dog and Mona's team showed up in a vehicle with studded tires to pick up this Vets dog and care for it until Vet released form hospital. On another occasion Mona was caring for a Vets dog and the dog needed surgery. Mona raised the money to get this dog the care it needed. Yesterday I received a call from Seattle Animal Shelter informing me that a Vets dog would be placed for adoption if not picked up. This Vet is still in hospital. When I called Mona she took the details and asked where to pick up the dog. She assured me that her team would pick up the dog and take care for it until Vet is able to take care of the dog again. In my 30 plus years of SW I have not met a person or a team quite like Mona and the team at The Dog Resort SODO. I am a lifelong pet owner and I absolutely recommend The Dog Resort as a safe, supportive, loving environment for your pet. Mona and her team will go above and beyond to care for your pet, providing the love all pets need in addition to excellent care and oversight!So Grateful!TE

Robert Jacobs: I came here for a nail trim for my elderly dog. She has toe treads glued on her nails to prevent her slipping on hard wood floors and they are a pain in the butt to get off. The staff was super patient, kind, and went the extra mile to get them off her nails to give her a proper trim with zero complaints. Friendly, easygoing, and a joy to work with. I will definitely be returning. Big props to the woman who discussed KPop with me while she was working on getting the toe treads off!

Kristina Kledzik: Cam Crockett is great! Our dog is always beyond excited to go to daycare here, and comes home happy. The staff is great too, they clearly love the dogs, and pick up and drop off are super easy.

Claire Hoover: The employees at the Delridge location are very nice and super attentive to my dogs. I trust they are well cared for and have a fun day. We have used their overnight services and would recomend them for a few days. They do not crate dogs at night, so if that is part of your dog's routine, they nay have a hard time coming home to a more structured routine. We bring our dogs in for the day as well, they do best at Little Campers on 35th as that location is for smaller dogs only, which is a really fantastic option!
Lynda Taylor: A lovely place with amazing and friendly staff! There are not a lot of daycare places with well-trained and knowledgeable staff. My pup Charlie does not attend daycare as much as he used to, but whenever I drop him off he's super happy to run off without looking back at me!

Wish they had an outside camera is my only complaint, but then again some owners are a bit crazy watching their dogs every move. I had one of the workers drive by me in my neighborhood and recognized my dog by name, very cool.

Eric Eye: I brought my super reactive dog here for a reactive dog class and I loved it! The trainer was amazing and adjusted to each different dog’s specific needs. The class was extremely helpful in understanding my dog and how to work with his limitations and strengths. I recommend them to other dog owners all the time.
Marc Prindle: Love this place. We got basic training here, and our dog has never had a bad day here in over six months, twice a week. Great job curating the dogs in each session to get a good mix of friendly beasts.

Holly Williams: We just completed a six-week reactive dog training course with Danette. I'm so glad we signed up! Danette is an incredible teacher for both dogs and their humans. My dog was always eager to go to class, and the improvements she made over the past month and a half surpass all our previous training efforts. We can't wait to go to drop-in days and future classes!I was hesitant to join any class during the COVID-19 pandemic, but social distancing, masks, and hand sanitizer were all handled so well during this outdoor course that I never felt at risk during our lessons. Chelsea Zarnowski: Great people and worked with us through training a puppy during Covid times. Puppy play class always wore our pup out and when she was old enough to do training the positive reinforcement instruction was great. It may have been Covid and the adjustments, but some of the class was a little awkward. There were some times I felt there was talking for too long where I couldn't pay attention and work with my crazy puppy. Overall I would recommend them and Danette is very responsive and helpful.

Brianna Widner: Great customer care! Prompt, professional, and kind. During his recent boarding they were able to accommodate my dog's staggered med schedule, which most places rarely do. I love that most of the staff is first aid certified for dogs. The hours are great and prices are comparable to other facilities nearby. They give you a good report back of how your dog did. I goofily added hearts to the labels on my dog's gear for his most recent boarding and they needed to add new labels for some reason, but they added the hearts to his name on the re-writes. One of those sweet extra touches that brought a smile to my face.Docked a star because a few times I've gone there there's been a strong dog pee odor- it was obviously cleaned up/sanitized, but the smell persisted, so maybe some extra focus there. My dog always comes home smelling fine. It'd be nice if there were some natural outdoor space for the pups, but, in the middle of Seattle, greenspace is not easy to come by.
Maya Kaneyasu: I cannot begin to start how happy I am with Metro dog I was a new dog owner in April and very nervous about daycare. They were very reassuring, and with each day Harley spent at Metro dog her confidence began to increase. At first she was nervous too but now she is wagging her tail, and eager to go in every time we drop her off. She has boarded twice now and every time she comes home, she is clean happy and exhausted. Which is fantastic because we know she is having a great time playing with all her dog friends. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The staff have been great and our dog loves it so much that we keep bringing her back for daycare. Our dog comes back tired. At pick-up, the staff informs us that she had a great day playing with the other dogs. Will definitely keep bringing our dog to Metro Dog Daycare and utilize their boarding. Staff is superb and seems to be well-trained to deal with all types of dogs.

I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and a few other people and they were very nice. I really like that they have an outdoor area for the dogs. That's where my dog feels most comfortable. Angela Mae: I took my recently adopted Golden Pyrenees to the groomer at House of Ruff. The poor boy had a lot of old Texas dust locked up in his undercoat, plenty of matting and such. He went in looking dingy and came out glowing! He is SO soft and fluffy, and his coat absolutely shimmers. Best of all he is delighted! He was prancing and lopping on the walk home, clearly feeling much better. This was definitely worth the cost and I plan to add this service to my budget so we can engage it a few times a year.
Tyler Foote: Cool place, but when we went it was outside only....they have two areas. One for shy/smaller dogs and the other for the playful.
O PS: Our dog Doris is always thrilled to spend the day at House of Ruff. She comes home tired and happy - the ideal combination for dog owners! CJ and the entire staff at H.O.R. are all awesome, and we are so grateful to have found such a fun and reliable space for our pup to spend a few days a week.

No question, we will be going back for him to groom Higgins again!We come here for daycare if I have a work trip, or if something comes up. I appreciate how nice the staff is, I love that I can see the webcams. The only two things that bothers me is that I never see humans interacting with the pups - usually they are alone, and Higgins comes home smelling like urine. He is a little lowrider, but still, his little legs have come home dingy and yellow. That makes me uncomfortable. But when we do drop him off he always seems happy to trot on back there. That is the most important thing to me!

Laura Molesworth: Sierra, Harley, Anne, and the whole crew at Elliott are THE BEST people to groom and care for my dog, Butter, EVER! They are so caring, sweet, gentle, and fun. Butter always tugs me all the way inside when she sees we are near the Elliott DDL building, and I always have to drag Butter out of daycare, even after grooming, because she loves being there so much and doesn’t want to go back to our boring home😂. Butter can be a handful and gets overwhelmed in large groups of dogs, but she never has any issues at DDL Elliott. It wouldn’t be possible without the amazing workers! Cannot recommend enough!

The camera feature is the absolute best cause I can check in on my pup throughout the day and feel like he's in good hands. This location unfortunately doesn't board at this time, but it's a super convenient location for daycare needs!

Everyone from the front desk staff, to grooming, knew Grogu and when we walked in they would all greet him. I had the pleasure of training with Tyler. He is very knowledgeable, loving and Grogu responded well to him. I originally went in with the intention of doing less sessions but after our first interaction I signed up for 8. I am extremely satisfied with all the progress Grogu has made in such a short time. He just turned 4 months and thanks to Tyler he knows more than I could have ever imagined. Tyler not only trained Grogu but he gave me all the skills and reassurance to continue working with him at home. Sadly we are leaving Washington if not I would of continued my services with Tyler and everyone else at DDL.
