Sally HOLLISTER: Dylan arrive about 10 in the 8 to 12 window. I asked him to take a look at the faulty hose bib Gj installed last year and, after explaining his bibs weren't in his venue, he got right to work under the kitchen sink. He showed me the price of the repair, I signed off, and Dylan got right to work. While I ran some errands, Dylan installed a new garbage disposal and attended to other business under the sink. I felt perfectly comfortable leaving him to finish up on his own, and sure enough, he did and left the site tidy and ready for me to move my stuff back in. I waved to him as we passed on the hill.Thanks for sending this polite, competent young man to attend to my plumbing issue.

This guy has more energy in problem solving than Mr. Wriggles McGiggles, our 10-year-old papillon, on fetch day. Problems getting through to dispatch, Chad takes care of it. Need a quote, Chad. I’m not entirely sure anyone else works here as Chad does it all. I am currently looking for more plumbing projects for this guy because he is one of the most enjoyable people to have in the house, I have two teenagers… Kidding aside, he is on a win streak for exceeding expectations, and I always know where I stand and what my options are. I feel no shame in selecting an option and am well educated on the path forward. Are they the cheapest? I have no idea, it is worth it to me to have quality craftsmanship and materials because I know I am not going to have to worry about it for many many years, if at all. I couldn’t recommend Chad Hendrix any more. April 23rd will always be known as Hose Bibb Replacement Day, and I will smile while watering my plants.

Tanner Dickson: They stand behind their work. My ecobee thermostat was telling me that my furnace kept rebooting unexpectedly. They came out and did what they could. A week or so later I still had the same issue. So they came back out at no extra charge. Still couldn’t replicate the issue but did a few other things to hopefully help. Still had issues a week later so they came out a third time at no cost to me. This time they were able to see the system rebooting every 5 minutes and diagnosed it as a high temperature thermostat issue. They ordered the part and came out again to replace. So 4 visits later and all I had to pay for was the original visit to diagnose and the part. Was very easy to text them and reschedule visits. I will definitely be using them in the future and would suggest you do also.

Rats had gotten into our crawlspace, causing damage and then dying. The smell was beyond terrible. A repair was urgently needed, so our furnace installer recommended Better Air Northwest.Eric the Estimator went under the house to inspect, showed us photos of the problems, and explained every step of the repair process. He took time to address our questions and sent us three estimates so that we could choose the degree of repair/cost we wanted.On our scheduled repair day, Jack T was here promptly at 7:30am, friendly and eager to start work. He removed all the old ductwork and debris. A little later Jordon N. arrived and, working as an efficient team, they got our system up and running around noon. How glorious to have some central heat after 2 weeks of 30 degree nights and 40 degree days! They then installed the new vapor barrier, replaced everything, and cleaned up nicely. Before leaving, they showed me pictures of what the crawlspace looks like now. It looks neat, clean, and not at all scary. They were both such pleasant and hard-working guys who clearly took a lot of pride in their work.So now the duct system is fixed and sanitized, and fresh air is flowing. They showed me before and after of the vacuum filter basket, something I would suggest that all customers request, its gross and amazing. Rick Xu: They helped me replaced the main shutoff valve. The wall needed to be opened, but after the wall was opened, there was no place to cut it. They had to open another side of the wall, cut and replace 3 of the connections out of the main pipe to take out the main pipe, which took 1 hour longer and $200 higher.I deducted one star because their estimate should be more accurate and I expected no additional charges at all. I get it is behind the wall, but no one mentioned that it could be higher in the estimate.

The technician arrived at my home on time, diagnosed the problem in 5 mins, used his tool to do a quick fix and resolved the issue for me on the fly. And he even told me because it is such an easy fix, I don’t have to pay anything, which is rarely seen in today’s business where they will charge you a flat rate visit fee.

He efficiently corrected my Nest thermostat self-install attempt, which had involved over an hour on the phone with Google. He got it powered correctly and then did a full new install on the downstairs unit as well. And he was pleasant and professional. We’ve used Glendale Heating before for troubleshooting a freezing line and they were good, but Nest can be tricky and Max was great.
