Adam Tapp: The team of Caesar and Ellie could not have been better. The shampoo had me so relaxed I almost fell asleep during the treatment. The calming music paired with a 5 minute leave in conditioner was such almost as much of a pleasure as Ellie. And Caesar was no different. I almost forgot I was there for an hour and a half because of his infectious energy and his keen understanding of customer service as a stylist. I will be coming back again without a doubt.

Ann Marie Miller: I saw Exo, who helped me try to match the same color from a previous visit, but asked questions on what i liked and preferred throughout. They had all the notes, and she added a little bit of her own inspiration to it and the color turned out beautiful. Exo also worked with me to maintain some length but also do some serious cleanup of my split ends. Somehow she was able to get my hair to hold a curl from a roundbrush, which has never happened and they are still great the next day. Overall a great visit and my hair feels amazing!

If it isn’t achievable in one session, they’re honest and upfront about the process it will take and time it will take to get my hair there. Or they will flat out tell me no, or to wait, cause my hair can’t handle the strain of the treatment I’m asking for. They won’t lead you wrong and always have me walking away feeling satisfied with the service and my hair looking beautiful and refreshed.

Megan Madden: Jessica and Steven were absolute life savers when I needed a last minute appointment for my daughter and I to have our hair done for my wedding. Jessica was kind and patient with my 4 year old daughter and styled her hair exactly like she asked. Steven was a blast to work with. I gave him an idea of what I wanted but allowed him to take the reins and complete the style however he wished. We had great conversation and he finished with plenty of time. The entire salon was a pleasure to work with and if we were local I would definitely be a regular. Thank you all so much for pampering both of us on my big day!

A Murray: I have been going to Laura for almost 18 years. I have followed her from 3 different salons during that period. I am totally inept with hair and she makes it easy for me to look good. She started cutting my son's hair and now he refuses to go anywhere else. She is talented with cuts and colors and I have always left feeling beautiful. The salon is clean and they have a great variety of products. Street parking only, but I've never had issues with it. Like with all businesses these days, they are sometimes short staffed at the reception desk. That is just the new normal everywhere.

I spent only a couple of minutes describing to her what I had in mind. In retrospect, it probably would have been more helpful to Nadya if I came prepared with photos to share, illustrating the new style I wanted, but she assured me she got it.Well, she nailed it. I love my new hairstyle! Is it the cheapest cut? Absolutely not, but c'mon guys... Treat yourself.The salon is also a great space. It's nice seeing that they care about the health of their staff and clients by wearing masks. the staff is also always willing to answer my questions about what the best product would be for my hair so I always feel confident leaving with something that I know I will use. Some other reviewers have complained about the how stylists can be scheduled out but when you do such a great job they obviously book quickly and Allison ALWAYS lets me book my next appointment when I check out, so I'd wait for a good stylist that you like and then don't wait to book your next appointment. And honestly this seems to be the way it is at any salon you go to so set your expectations accordingly! I highly recommend getting your name on a wait list
Ammie Matalka: Andrea has been my go to hairdresser for cuts! For anyone who has thick hair like mine, she understands how to cut and take out weight without ending up looking like a Christmas tree or a mushroom. It takes a special technique to do so, and I’ve gone to four different hairstylists before miraculously finding Andrea at Mint. Each time prior to her, I would leave in tears because my hair was butchered and I had to go through another round of growing all the choppiness out. After I left Andrea’s chair for the first time, I finally cried in sheer happiness because my hair looked like normal again. If you have thick hair, she is your go to stylist! I promise you!

Sarah Barak: It took me a couple of times to find the right stylist for me at Coven, but I'm glad I stuck it out and found Lydia. She has made substantive improvements to my cut and color, and is honestly the only stylist who has been able to teach me how to style my hair at home.Heads up that if you are disabled, as I am, this salon can be a significant challenge. There is no parking lot and parking is sparse near the salon right now due to serious construction that has lasted for a long time. There are also multiple stairs to enter the building and no ramp.
