JC Choi: When real people are doing what comes natural, what is borne of this: total satisfaction. The owner Moe has a bit of carnival barker but this guy is all business and he is on the side of fairness and justice. He also happens to run the place. And it runs like a Swiss watch. Order- Deliver- Approve- Install, and that part of the process took 4 hours. When's the last time that happened.
JOpinion: I had been looking for a reliable shop to reupholster my seats on my motorcycle and I am glad I chose Rich's. Initially the seat they made was beautiful, but a little different than what I was looking for. I called them back, told them what I thought and without hesitation they got me back in and fixed my seat. It turned out perfectly and I can ride for now for hours. I can't thank or recommend them enough for all your upholstery needs. Thanks guys!
Brian Nixon: The carpet in the trunk of my Toyota Camry got absolutely filthy and I wasn't sure what could be done other than completely replacing it. Moe at Rich's Custom Upholstery was great! He took a look at the carpet, found an in-kind replacement and gave me a quote within a matter of minutes, but then also gave me great advice on how I could tackle the project myself in easily attainable steps. He saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of wasted time looking around - just doing the right thing for someone who was out of his depths. I really appreciate the honest dealing!
J Hoff: I want to give Moe and the Techs at Rich's big props for the help with my Triumph Spitfire I'm fixing up. I needed to do a little carpet work and a set of new door cards. I'm doing the work myself and Moe was able to come up with the perfect materials that were leftovers from other projects, this kept the costs well within my budget. Hannah Mosheim: Rich's custom upholstery has the nicest staff and did a great job reupholstering the bench in my hyundai elantra! My car got broken into and the leather bench seat had holes from broken glass. Rich's dealt with Statefarm and fought for me so Statefarm would cover the whole bill so I wouldn't have to. Elysia answered all my calls and called Statefarm many times for me! They replaced the leather bench quickly and it looks brand new!

Kevin J. Cox: I used Rich’s years ago on the first car I ever owned. I had forgotten what a great job they do. I purchased a used BMW M3 convertible last week in California. Mechanically, so far, the car is perfect but the drivers seat showed the typical wear these cars always seem to have. They repaired the drivers seat and dyed all of the leather that showed wear due to exposure to the sun. The interior looks brand new. They also completed a couple of other repairs at no charge. Luke: I recently had both interior door panel vinyl trims come loose in my car and was looking for some place to have them glued back in. I found Kurt and after talking on the phone decided to give him a shot. I also had a tear in the passenger seat bottom cover in my car from a long time ago and he mentioned he'd be able to order a new seat bottom cover and replace it for me. Once the part came in, he was able to schedule a time very soon after that and I had the seat and door panel trim fixed. Brought it in around noon and he had it done by ~6pm that same day even though I didn't expect it to be done that soon. Final price was fair and matched his original estimate, so no surprises there which was awesome. Quality of the work is top notch and everything looks like it just came from the factory. Brian Rohrback: I took two cars in to have the upholstery refreshed. On the older car, the leather seats were cracked and worn; now they look new along with the door panels and other trim. The second example is a vinyl seat repair with worn spots and a tear in one seat. Kurt even addressed the center console that was worn. Mike Simon: Just today I had Rich’s build a seat for my 2016 BMW R1200RT. Custom fitting, listened to my concerns, and they made some suggestions.A great process, cool shop, and nice people. They retained my factory seat heat, custom fit the foam to my body, added a gel insert, and sewed a new leather cover. A high quality product that comes with a guarantee.If it’s not right after I spend some time on it, they will fix it and make it right. My highest recommendation. If you’re anywhere near Seattle/PNW, it’s time and money well spent.

I was quoted $700 to repair the seat. Two yards of vinyl that matched my seat was in stock. They had an opening the next day and by afternoon the job was done. It was spectacular quality and they charged me $600. Plus they were friendly and really nice. It looks and feels like a new seat.

Jeff K: Auto Trim Design in Tukwila did great work. I was recommended to them for body seam leak source identification when it was determined not an auto glass seal leak of back window. They found the source of the body seam leak on my truck, fixed it and performed retesting to ensure water was not flowing in. They listened, were able to get me in quickly and solve the leak.

Like new.EDIT: since having my car detailed, where I park there are lots of trees and I’ve been digging out leaves from weird places. Every time I find the deep cranny I’m digging out of is meticulously clean. These guys are incredible. My car is clean in places I wouldn’t otherwise look. Can’t recommend them enough.

I emailed an inquiry, just to gauge the wait time. Lyndell promptly replied with a wealth of info.He not only gave me an estimated wait time, but educated me on the strict engineering standards, which were the reason of the wait. He also gave me an option of using the Africa Twin foot pegs, and advised that while they would fit, in rare cases the springs could break. He let me know about the fit kit that would soon be available, should I break a spring, or if I just wanted to upgrade.This gets me on my bike with the Adventure II foot pegs weeks before I had planned. Super stoked and will definitely be recommending Altrider products to all my riding buddies. A+ for service and support from Lyndell and Altrider!”

Ethan Scott: Bought old stock bars fro my BMW G650GS. They let me know they had some cosmetic blemishes, but did touch ups; I was good with that as bars like this are hard to find for an older bike. Bars arrived in great shape, touch ups look good, and installation was pretty straight forward. I started outfitting by bike with other Altrider items when I can find them. Great customer service and quality seems good - but hoping not to test the bars!

Jairo Rivera: The AltRider Tail Tidy works with the Camel Auxiliary Fuel Tank and I can put blinkers up to 1.8 inches. Very well designed and it might be an option for other T700 owners that cannot get the Tail Tidy from Camel anymore or the ones having quality issues.I also put the AltRider Variable Lowering Links and the Adjustable Side Stand on my bike. AltRider offer more options to adjust the bike to the different rider styles & preferences and they look pretty nice too.Thank you for answering all my emails.Excellent customer service!.

John Wyss: What a fun store! If you're a motorcyclist, and appreciate adventure, especially off-road, you will be in heaven here. But there are some things for Street riders such as tool kits. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Just keep in mind that they do not do installs here of all the goodies they sell. You can do it yourself or most dealers will install add-ons for time and materials. Also check the hours, they are not open on weekends or evenings.

Bill called me back the same day, so I dropped off my 2020 Honda CB300R for a ~5k mile tune up - mainly just oil, filter, and tension the chain.Just picked it back up today. They caught some prior work done improperly by a previous mechanic, so they fixed that too. Good catch on rear brake caliper/wheel bracket being out of position.Before I left, we had a good chat about electric motors, rally cars, and they showed me around their shop. I saw plenty of Harleys, Kawasakis, an electric Sur Ron, a big Gold Wing, etc. ... Seems like they have a lot of fun in this shop!I'll definitely come back just to say hello or if I ever need more work done. Thanks guys!

Andrew Gomez IV: I had engine trouble with my vintage '70 Honda CT90. Most shops will not work on older bikes. But they made an exception for me. This was a hard one to pin down what was wrong. Took it to them once and they fixed it up and ran well but after having it back for a couple of weeks it reverted to its bad performance. SUB took it back without hesitation. rechecked all their work from the previous visit, and found there was some additional electrical issue they didn't catch before. Only charged me for the new work done. Runs great now. Would like to go back to them for everything now, which I hope is not anytime soon!

As the weeks went by I could tell Dave ran a tight ship from his sales men to the guys in back. Customer satisfaction is what I saw not worried about the dollar bill. Dave and his shop are above reproach from a guy who had never been In his shop nor new that it was even there. So many times I heard are you happy can I do anything else for you.let me know. A true shop that actually cares about people and not just sales.

He has helped me find unusual and limited availability parts, and helped me run through the warranty process for parts with manufacturing defects.I had a mechanical concern with the used bike I purchased here, and they were quick to remedy that problem even with a used bike sale.I will continue to be a customer at SUB as long as I ride! Everyone was welcoming and took some time to bring my attention to a few things that need replacing down the road. Very fast turnaround and competitive pricing.I'll definitely be back for service in the future, and maybe to pick up a nicer bike eventually! SUB has one of the best assortments of your dream used motorcycles I've ever seen in one place; we're talking Ducati, MV Augusta, and even a 6-cylinder Honda CB..! Great people, highly recommended.
