We wanted to give our home a refresh -- not a full remodel, but upgrades like redoing our fireplace, new paint/countertops/tile/mirrors for our bathrooms, wallpaper accent wall in the primary bedroom. We can do a lot of things DIY and wanted someone who could help us create a cohesive vision and help us with colors, design direction, and execution. Bret did all of that and more. Bradford Hamilton: How many shades of white are there & how can this color change my home's interior? You realize white creates environmental mysteries in each tone, but the decoding and solutions were solved by having a Color Consultation by The Phinery. Ashley walked through my condo inquiring about space utilization and what I wanted to highlight or diminish in each room. She understood how my artwork was integral in each room & explained how selecting a white with warm undertones & incorporating various paint sheens would achieve a more elevated look. Mission accomplished! Art & furniture now appear crisp and fresh. Colors in paintings appear brighter, and even furniture shapes have become highlighted. The overall result is a stunning space to spend time in.

They steered me towards velvet to handle cats as well, which I hadn't thought of before. I've had it for 6-7 years now and it still looks about as new as when I got it delivered, despite being routinely puked on by my cats.

We worked with Rosie who helped us custom design our size, shape and look. It was worth every penny and the wait - we've never experienced a comfier couch. Quoted end of April would be outside that promise and verbal estimate was before the promise date. Still an honest account of what we experienced to date. Glad you are paying attention to our reviews as I see other experiences like ours. More as our order progresses to see if the estimates hold true to form. Right now 3 stars out of 5 which is neither negative nor positive as I noted good order experience but bad updates and estimates. Guess you can earn the other stars on delivery follow through.Last update: Couch delivered on April 1st. Great construction and easy delivery arrangements. I even arranged to have them take away the old couch. Excellent!

Service was very good particularly for the Deco that required some set up. They do charge for delivery but really worth it because it's very personalized and the delivery personnel really know the products. Room & Board is one of the few retailers that when you complete a survey, you know they read it. For the most recent coffee table purchase I had a question and a comment. I received a response just a day later. While not expected they went above and beyond in response and action. I would whole heartedly and confidently purchase at Room & Board again.

Laura Horan: A huge shout out to manager Suzanne and the sales staff. I ordered a dining set from this store, expecting to have it by late September. A back ordered item caused my whole set to be delayed until February! I recall my saleswoman told me to always try to order from the store vs online, because if something goes wrong, they can help. So I called the manager, Suzanne. My furniture arrives Monday. Thanks Suzanne - for supporting customer needs with the utmost professionalism.

H H: We always enjoy walking through their store. But we mostly shop online. The store doesn’t alway have everything in stock and a lot of it is set up as a display item and not something you just grab and buy. The last time we were here we got new tensel sheets and bed spreads. The pillow cases were out of stock so we ordered those online and lucked out with free shipping.

Levi West (W&BM): Feels comfortable. Not sure yet if it's the direction of what I am looking for yet but staff is nice and helpful and is comfortable to just shop around.
Andrea Stowell: . We were notified that it would be delayed one month in December, but we still got it on time. I was super pleased to be able to schedule a delivery date the same week we got the email that it arrived in Kent. Their third-party delivery service through Ryder was a bit disappointing compared to other white-glove deliveries we've had, but not a huge deal.So far, we love this couch and would highly recommend it!
