Henry SooHoo: Service was very friendly and speedy. The servers were patient and answered questions we had about the options as well as attentive about refilling beverages. The food itself was decent but I would not say special. The Turkish apricot waffles were novel but too sweet in my opinion. Even forgoing the syrup, I struggled to eat the last few saccharine bites.

Best part of our experience was the welcoming notice at the bottom of a real menu asking us not to use electronic devices or cell phones. Everyplace should have such a polite request highlighted. I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.

From the moment we were greeted by our server, who was impressively friendly without being artificial, to his insightful explanations about the nuances of Piemonte cuisine against other part os Italy, the service truly stood out.Although the tarjarin, their specialty, wasn't quite to my taste due to my personal preference for thicker and al dente pastas, the nettle risotto was absolutely divine, elevating my dining experience we never had such delicious risotto before. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.While the milk pork was a bit unconventional and leaned towards the sweeter side, it didn't quite hit the mark for me but it was wellk prepared. I'm intrigued to explore their dessert offerings on a future visit, as there was unfortunately no room left after our satisfying meal.The ambience, with its tasteful Italian-inspired decor, transported us to Italy, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. All in all, it was a delightful dining experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for another culinary adventure at Spinasse.

Hongyi Shen: the duck rolls are divine, but at $16 for 2 rolls, it's practically $4 per half a roll. If you believe you're getting the fine dining experience, it could be worth it. just giving a head's up.the goat curry was similarly very yummy! it's rare to find goat meat dishes - one of the healthiest meats you can consume. that said, goat meat is very tough, and while the meat is very nicely pulled and shredded in the curry, it is still very tough to chew on. ive not had many other goat dishes to say it's untypical of other goat meals, but again, another heads up. other reviews have also commented on the price. i personally think it can be reasonable depending on the kind of experience you think you're getting, but the portions aren't big for sure.
Herakles Li: Came here for their Valentine's Day set menu. The food was really really good. The chili crisp stroganoff which is available on their regular menu was one of my favorites. Just a bomb of flavor and the potato cakes were a wonderful texture and something I wish I could find in a store to take home and make.Definitely a worthwhile stop if looking for a modern fusion twist to classic Asian dishes and/or a slightly fancier date night spot.
David Tauber: Such a great place for a wonderful meal. The vibe is awesome, the food is outstanding, and our server was such a nice guy. Justin Soliz: This is one of the better spots in Seattle. Well executed, creative French Vietnamese fusion dishes with wonderful flavors and texture.As a bonus, they have a somewhat small but strategically stocked wine selection including many great French burgundy's and Chablis which can be harder to find amongst the typical wine list saturated with Oregon producers.
Lucia Villarreal: The food is the standout star of the restaurant. I came here for diner to catch up with family. The sticky rice dumplings were incredible, I’ve been thinking about them ever since I had them. The crispy duck fresh rolls were perfect as well, with beautiful textures and flavors. They had good N/A drinks as well. The dessert was spectacular as well, with the vanilla duck egg custard being the stand out star. The playing was beautiful and the food delicious. The chocolate crème torte was good as well but less unique. My one complaint was that it is quite noisy but I also visited at peak dinner hour on a Friday night.Dietary restrictions: They had a lot of non-alcoholic beverage options!
Stavros Macrakis: I enjoyed Stateside. My first course was crunchy chili garlic prawns, which were fantastic. I really enjoyed the prawn taste, and the crisp chopped garlic was a great complement, as was their home-made sriracha. Five nice prawns.The goat curry was less exciting. I expected the flavors to be more distinct, but the dried green beans weren't very prominent and the dish was very brown and stewy. The portion was generous.Wine service was good -- I asked to taste the Cab vs. the Syrah, and they happily obliged. Perhaps that sort of service explains the high price.

Ryan Chavez: This place is a great little restaurant. Get a reservation while you can! Dinner was fantastic! This place runs like clockwork since there are two chefs making all the food. It's quite a feat! The French Onion Soup is so cheesy and sweet, highly recommended. We followed it up with the Spring Salad which was refreshing. Our main entrees were the Halibut and Pork Tenderloin. Both were so delicious. The pork was light yet hearty and the fish a perfectly crispy skin. The servers were super friendly and personable. Even though they were plenty busy, they took their time to stop and chat and answer questions. Definitely coming back!

Great wine selection, the burrata/fava bean appetizer was amazing, and the risotto was extremely well executed. Trypp Adams: Wow, the food here is amazing. The recommendations and feedback I got from the bartender was mediocre. I was feeling adventurous so asked about the octopus, she compared it to steak... it was a little chewy like I expected but the salty richness of the bacon and greens made for an amazing combination. She didn't think the octopus would have been enough for me so suggested I order something else. I went with the Steak tataki salad, which was great. The basalmic, steak and hearts of palm offsets the sharp taste of the greens. More food than I needed but it was all amazingly delicious. Everything I ordered was fantastic.Parking: Parking is a challenge unless you pay to put it politely.
Douglas Sum: We booked in advance seeing that it was a recommended restaurant and we could only get outdoor seating. This is fine since their outdoor patio was heated and has a big fireplace in middle and blankets if you need. Gives a very different atmosphere than inside.We had the beef tartar and the mussels to start. Rich velvety beef tartar with a light crispy cracker was a great way to start our meal. The mussels were amazing, each one was so fat and juicy. Ask for a slice of bread to soak up the sauce after.Then came the main event, the short rib steak. My goodness was that one of the best steak cuts I've had. I always liked ribeye, but the Korean short rib was just as fatty and tender. Definitely a must try with the housemade sauce.

Tanya Gelli: , fatteh and shish taouk! The shish taouk is chicken kebab which is tasty but not unique. Fatteh was just AWESOME. I’m going to come back to eat just that! And then we ordered Baklava, which was delicious. I’ve had baklava in several places and I’ve never been a fan. But having it here changed that. It was the best Baklava I’ve ever had. Gandhali Juvekar: The 4 is more like a 3.5. Lots of vegetarian options in the shared plates menu. Not a lot of options for the entrees. We were a group of 6 and we ended up ordering about 5 shared plates because the quantity was not sufficient. We also order 2 of the only vegetarian entrees and 1 meat based entree, but the portion size was small for the entree as well. The shared plates tasted great but we were kept wanting for more due to the size. The desserts were too sweet and almost too syrupy for me. The takeout menu seemed a little better so might try that next time.

Coonoor Behal: This place is out of this world, I can't believe I don't see it on more "Best of" lists for Seattle. I prioritize "event meals" in my life and this is easily in my top 10 ever. Was fortunate enough to get off the waitlist and take my parents there for Christmas Eve and it was a delight start to finish. Food is just jaw-droppingly moan-worthy, every single item took our breath away. I got the wine pairing and loved it...they for sure snuck in some extra wines for me too but didn't make a big deal out of it! Service is lovely and clearly professional but also relaxed. Love the look of the place too, more like a taverna rather than a stiff, white table cloth place you'd imagine at this price point and quality.

Kind of had to rely and the salt flakes on the cracker for seasoning. I also wish the crackers were thicker, or that there were a couple more of them.Ahi crudo - pretty good, sauces were tasty and well balanced!Delicata squash with goat cheese - this was my favorite of the appetizers. Well cooked, slightly caramelized.Burrata with beets & kumquat - beets and kumquats were sweet and sour, which complemented the creamy burrata really well.Duck pappardelle - pasta was overcooked, so it was kind of mushy. Sauce was a bit plain, but duck was nice and tender.Black trumpet tagliatelle - well cooked, and tasty! Huge portion, we ended up taking some home to save space for the main course.Scallops - sadly also overcooked, so they were too chewy. I thought the fresh blood orange slices were a bit overpowering, but enjoyed all the other components.Zabuton - well cooked, but the cut was fattier than we expected. And more weight from the nduja butter on top. It needed something more to counterbalance the fattiness. The rutabaga puree was unpleasantly bitter.Almond frangipane torte - by far our favorite course! Delicious mix of flavors and textures. Only regret was ordering soebetto instead of two tortes.Service - overall very attentive, friendly service. The check in was not quite ideal, since there's no space inside to wait for your reservation, so we had to wait outside in the cold.Ambiance - cozy and romantic.

Yan Sun: This is a restaurant that is very, very worth visiting. The reason why it gets four points is based on my own usual evaluation system. In a place like Downtown, the taste needs to be very distinctive to match the location and customer base. And parking is so difficult. It's fine here.We ordered the appetizer of tiger prawns, seafood barbecue and seafood pot. They are all signs. The appetizer base includes mango and cherry tomatoes. The tiger prawns are not too big, and the tail after cooking is only as big as a six- or seven-year-old child's little finger. But it tastes really great. My kids raved about the side dishes. There are chickpeas on the bottom of the seafood pot, and the soup is a little spicy and very delicious. Pair it with clams, shrimps, and the sweetness of the seafood is brought out. The seafood at Grill, the snow crab legs are average, but fortunately they are plump. Two pieces of corn may have different origins, one is sweet and the other is dry. The shrimp is excellent. The sausage that goes with it is great.The child ordered two flavors of ice cream and didn't expect it at all, so I can't comment on the dessert.The service is super good, which is rare in Seattle. The atmosphere is very good, which shows that the quality of the surrounding residents is very high.

Marcie Swazer: Zero complaints. Their food was all top notch quality bursting with flavor. We ordered the octopus, the 1/2 dozen oysters, crab fritters and the shaved Brussels sprouts with edamame. My husband went crazy over the Brussels, do not skip!Their cocktails were too good and very strong. You can tell they use quality ingredients.Robyn was our server and made us feel very welcomed right away. The hostess was also very nice. Robyn was very informative about the dishes and drinks and helped us decide what to order based on our own tastes. She was attentive but not overly attentive.The vibe and decor was also really fun. We’d absolutely come back to try more dishes and drinks!

Andrew Bell: After spending our first date and many other special dinners at Westward, we had our wedding reception under the outside tent for 25 people. The view, staff, and especially the food are the best in the city. Our guests have all said it was the best wedding dinner they have ever had. They took care of every detail to make it a perfect night, just like every other time we have dined there. It is our favorite restaurant and we cannot wait to go back!

Daniel Kim (Danny): One of our favorite places to take our guests and probably one of the best places to get oysters. We love getting the crispy potatoes, having a glass of wine and I always make sure to get an order of the sourdough bread with the salted butter. Great outdoor seating for the warmer sunnier times and love being on Lake Union looking at the Seattle City skyline across the water. Always a fun time at Westward!

Elizabeth Smith: Amazing food, ambiance, and overall experience. I had the nonalcoholic pairing, and my husband had the alcoholic pairing. I thought the nonalcoholic drinks were even more special than the alcoholic ones. The food was excellent. Every course was unique and delicious, especially the lasagna and dessert. The ambiance inside was cute and cozy and felt upscale but also comfortable. We sat on the upper level near the kitchen, and it was fun to be able to see what was going on in there. The service was great. The price makes this a special-occasion experience for us, but it was certainly memorable.

Halibut and scallops we're cooked to perfection and the service was top notch. We were seated without a reservation and treated to a beautiful experience. Elias Martin: First time experience. The king salmon was great and the whole place was open, bright, and pleasant.Parking: Free 2 hour parking near the entrance and a bigger parking lot to the side. Multi business building.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access into the building and a switch ack ramp to the dining level.
Life is Wonderful: The flavor was good on the food. However, when I received 3 small pcs of Halibut for $38.00, that was a price shock. The red potatoes were very undercooked, and we all know a raw potatoe is not very good.Dean, the manager of this location, reached out to us. And Offered us 2 free meals.. It shows they care.
