Rain Shadow Meats: what do users think?

Billy Debaste: , but the cured stuff has redefined my standard for charcuterie lol, don't think I can do boars head pre-packs again when I can get a QP of either of these for around $10 and get 10x the flavor and care. Will be back for sure

Will L: in less than 24 hour notice. Support this local business!!

Benjamin Wright: All the meat I get here is great. The staff are very welcoming and are happy to tell you what they recommend. They love when you ask them questions.

mateo fowler: We've been ordering home delivery from them for a few months now and we are impressed with the service and quality.

Christopher Crammond: I've been using this butcher for at least 10 years and it's a great value for the price. There's a great selection of beef, pork, poultry, and charcuterie.

Toni Page: The ONLY place to buy MEATS in Seattle! Service, quality, excellence. We pre-ordered a small pig for Thanksgiving and we're so impressed with every aspect of the experience.

Yvonne Jolly: Not sure what's up with the mixed reviews but I called to pick up a few pounds of ground pork and had a very normal transaction. Staff was not very chatty but that's not a requirement for a meat shop. Price was good too so no complaints here.

Beast and Cleaver: what do users think?

Casie Capps: The best butcher shop. Everyone working is so kind and helpful. The meat is fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend!

Karla Wang: Chef’s kiss all the way.Extremely congruent meal start to finish. A ton of integrity to the meat cooked. The burger was to die for. Amazing staff!!

Adam Shildmyer: No question the BEST butcher shop in Seattle. I wouldn’t even think about going anywhere else. Kevin and his team are incredible. They do it all! I can’t recommend them enough.

Ernest Popescu: We ate here recently. This was the most honest, authentic, unpretentious meal we had in our 10-yrs in Seattle. Highly recommend it.

Victoria Kurtz: Delicious food and wine with an intimate seating space.

Liz P: Amazing food and service . Glad we were the hidden gem

Gabe Polanco: High quality butcher, but more than just that. They truly take pride in what they do and it shows once you take the first bite

Elizabeth Henyey: Absolutely the best butcher shop I have ever been to. So glad they are in my neighborhood.

Tiemen Meerman: Dinner service was amazing. Go if you can.

Amirhossein Herandi: Lovely people and tasty burger, I wish they used an actual burger sauce, maybe a few pickles and some proper cheese though. There is definitely something magical about a simple burger but it is in a sandwich form for a reason in my humble opinion, American cheese melts really well, but it doesn't taste like anything.

Todd Gage: I've taken two of their butchery classes and have had a great time at both of them. Very informative, great instructors, and tasty noshes!

Craig Susen: Best butcher in the city. Don't know what you are doing? The team will make you feel right at home, explaining what you are buying/looking at. Know exactly what you are doing? The team will help you walk out with that perfect primal cut, or frenched roast. Go big. These folks are total pros.

Bob's Quality Meats: what do users think?

Richard: Great to have a local butcher shop in the neighborhood.

Bellevue Fine Art Repro: Whenever I'm in Columbia City I always have to stop by Bob's Meats and get something. A real local butcher with great meats.

Jordan Banasik: I absolutely love Bob's. I've been twice and both times had amazing staff help and amazing products! I used a smoked turkey leg in my collard greens and a boneless chuck roast for a stew. Prior to that I bought a lamb of rack from them. Always fantastic meat and flavor, my Texan heart feels warmed with their delicious offerings.

Anna Winters: , then come pickup early if you need a specific size. Great service too!

Radovana Vanek: Great selection of meats and a friendly and helpful staff.

T.Taylor ICE-800: Great selection and good prices! Try the tasty sausage both fresh and bulk.

Daniella G: Friendly, fast paced and clean. Great customer service and good price’s. I will definitely recommend and return.

Andrew Dawson: Great shop with fantastic fresh meat and reasonable prices. Awesome jerky, will continue to shop here for a long time!

Jose Barbosa: Neighborhood spot to get all of your meat, chicken etc. I recommend the store made Lemongrass chicken, brats and meatloafs. Also, the tri-tip steak is unbelievable. There's so many extras in the store to accompany the trip to this store like milk, butter, sauces, etc. A Columbia City treasure!

Nik S: I recommend this place to everyone! Their food is absolutely amazing! I never once experienced anything bad about Bob’s. They have my business for life.

Kim Dang: Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. We stumbled upon this wonderful little butcher shop after learning about how they’ve been consecutively open since the late 1800s from a tour with the Seattle Architecture Foundation about historic landmarks. We purchased chicken thighs, Vietnamese style marinated pork skewers and a Delmonico steak. Tasting each now as I type this review. It’s a piece of old Seattle, which means great service and quality product at reasonable prices. We will be back.

l kol: I love Bob's! They have a nice selection and consistently reasonable prices. They are also convenient, because I live in the neighborhood and can walk from my house to Bob's to pick up meats for any random meal. I like their hours too - they stay open later and for more total hours than several other shops in the area like the bakery. They are a small shop and can get busy sometimes, but even when they are busy, the line still moves reasonably fast. They have a lot more variety than a normal grocery store. You can even order unusual meats that can be hard to find elsewhere in the city. The customer service is always good too. They are always willing to give advice and answer questions as long as they are not super busy. They often recognize me as a regular customer now and sometimes give me small extra benefits for that.Bob's is the best!

Ashley Hoard: Helpful and friendly staff. I got a 10% discount!

Michael Hutchinson: Fantastic local meats and wonderful service! The store is small, but worth the wait if there is any.

The Swinery: what do users think?

Via Fox: Looks like they're closed for good. How sad. I loved this place. Best lunch on the block. I should have tried their ribs when I had the chance. Hopefully they reopen in the near future.

CKV: Open since 2006, The Swinery was a great business. Definitely try coming in before they close on the 24th of March :D

Krystal Smith: One of a kind , beautiful sandwiches !!!

Claudia Diorio: OMG! Amazing sandwich. It’s called the spectacular and spectacular is the best description. Make sure to have lots of napkins as it is big and messy. Looking forward to trying the rest of their sandwiches.😋

Audra McCoy: There's serious love and art in each item we've ordered. Generous servings of quality food...you can taste the skill and pride in each bite. Every element can stand on its own, the preparation of the bread, sauce, each meat, the crunch element...yum. You can taste the subtle smoke in the meat. It's definitely not BBQ, but a tasty smoked meat shop with delicious prepared options. I pick up a whole guanciale everytime I visit. It has that subtle smoke and rosemary flavor...yum. Great for carbonara. it's a small place. People are personable. Don't go if you're in a hurry or need something quick. Go when you have time to appreciate the effort, skill and love put into the prepared food options. Or go and check out some of the meat options you can purchase and prepare at home.

Peter Schulte: Just a visit during my walk.Kim, with her husband the owner operator, offered a wide ranging description of their offerings.Friendly! We'll return to try it soon.

Sarah Klinger: My mouth is watering just looking at the menu! This is the best place to get a burger and fries!

Kevin Morimoto: What a delicious find in West Seattle, we ordered the Swinery Burger, Cubano, Danger Fries & Poutine w/ Pull Pork.Burger was a perfect medium rare and the Swinery Sauce gave it some Awesome Taste. Both Fries dishes were so good, they can actually be a meal all on its own.Cubano was flavorful and fully loaded with lots of meat.

Lee Marshall: Seriously good food. Great burgers and fries. Excellent butchers and they get great local produce.

Yalined Rohena: One of the best burgers I have tried in Seattle.I tried the September special and it was delicious! Not too greasy, good size, and fries were amazing too. Service was great and it actually has more space to sit in the back, so it is not just the small front side of the establishment. Definitely will be going back to try the rest.

Noah Maikisch: Best burger I've ever had. Every detail from the grilled bun to the house pickled pickles was perfect. Worth every penny.

Dan Sabath: Excellent ribs and burger. The ribs are sweet and caramelized and don’t need sauce.Know what you want before you talk to the staff.

Sebastian Kurian: Philly cheesesteak is better than anything you’d find in Philly! Super nice folks who own/work there.

Angel M: Great sandwiches and service. The burger and Philly were great.

J Kim: The best Burger 🍔🍔 imho

Better Meat Inc: what do users think?

scott billington: Nice guys ,best price, wonderful cuts of meet,my dog love the bones.

Mitch Murdock: I buy my meat from these guys and I also buy a ground dog food supplement and raw bones. I love these guys! Always willing to cut bones to order and the meat is top notch!

Nguyen Tong (Win): Fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and local butcher shop. What's not to like?Better have an answer for, "what are you going to do with it?" Question from the team.

Andrew Bieber (Cycling Cicerone): I came here to buy pork knuckles for schweinshaxe. Whoever I was talking to on the phone knew what I needed, even though I didn't, and caught me before I ordered the wrong thing. Highly recommend for amateur butcher visitors who are only used to the supermarket meat counter!

Raven J.: Great place with extensive offerings. Can’t recommend more

Ricardo Aguilar: 4 stars cuz it's my first regular butcher shop I've ever frequented so I don't have référence to compare it with. I appreciate the friendliness and the variety of meats and cuts

Steven Farwell: Bought a lamb leg here several months ago to smoke for my dads birthday. It was my first time buying from butcher shop and the guy I spoke to made it very easy and a great experience. They had it ready for pick up the day I needed it and it was perfect wrapped. The quality was excellent.

Antoinette Hippe: Their frozen dog food is astoundingly good and excellently priced. The owner created the blend especially for his own dogs. My mom comes all the way up from Olympia to get it in large quantities for her working farmdog. I've gotten ground rabbit from them for years for my cats, as well as gorgeous steaks, eye round for home-made beef jerky, and my friend gets all her meat from them for her nearby restaurant. They're friendly, informative, and they work together and treat their regular customers like family.

Robin Chow: . But this was a delightful find - the person serving me filled in my knowledge gaps, was patient, and never made me feel anything but welcome as I umm and ahhh'ed to put together my order. I ended up with a stunner of a porterhouse that thankfully I brought friends in to share

Munsy Man: Don't be fooled by the name. This joint should be called BEST MEAT INC! Called on 12/23 when most businesses were closed because of the freezing rain/icey roads but they accepted my order with no problem at all for next day pick up. Best butchers in Seattle and the place smells so clean!

Patrick Mazzuca: Fantastic turkey! These folks are great! Best products and the best prices in town. And they are super friendly too!

Leeann Tesorieri: I’ve ordered a variety of meats from them. Everything has been delicious and flavorful. Customer service is great: I call my order in, they tell me what time it will be ready, then all I have to do is pick it up.

Dan Chiang: A true neighborhood gem! This place as super high quality meat and will cut and package what you need on the spot. Super friendly and full of great advice and the prices are excellent as well. If you are in the area and you need any kind of meat, always go here first!

Janice Kajanoff: High quality.. knowledgeable..since 1949.The real deal.

Daniel Kim (Danny): The Better Meat is the best in Seattle! We've been regularly buying frozen ground venison here for a while and the staff here are super accommodating and deliver great customer service. They have the best prices in town for the highest quality meats hands down. So glad we found them and we highly recommend them!

Live Butcher: what do users think?

Dave Hull: One of my most visited stores. Great selection of meats 'n such. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check them out!

Buell Wood: Great place to get your meat and other meat products

Heather A Adams: This is a great local butcher with lots of options and even more wisdom on how to cook, prepare and select meat. They don’t just have protein. You can also find cheese, eggs, vegetables, bones, sauces, rubs, spices, jerky, landjaeger‘s, and much more. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and there is enough differently prepared meat here to keep your mealtime interesting for a long time.

Brittani Dinsmore: Incredible meat and incredible service. It's so wonderful to have a locally owned, neighborhood butcher, where you can find out the source of the meat you're eating.

Len Quadracci: Super friendly people. Real butcher with premium meats at a good price. Support your local business. Owner supports the local community. Now they carry Seafood specials.

Bryan Hillerman: Nothing better than supporting your local butcher. Please give Live Butcher a visit, they have a fine selection in their small shop.

AJ Hammack: First time customer here, just figured I would stop in on a walk and found the best service and best meat in town! After only trying a couple items I can confidently say, they gained a regular customer who plans to frequent this terrific establishment!

Tim Newsome: This is where I come when we have guests and want to serve some nice meat.

Randy Kaczor: Friday May 12, was the first time we visited the Live Butcher. My wife is a carnivore and very picky about her meat. I bought two 2.5 Lb. Prime Porterhouse for an outing on her boat on Mothers Day. To say they were the best I’ve ever eaten would be an understatement. I’d give 6 stars if I could. Old school meat market with great customer service. I’ll be back anytime I need THE BEST.

LeVaton Thompson: Really good meats

KatG: The folks running this place are the best! We always get our holiday prime rib here - order ahead of time and ask to have it seasoned. Delicious! We love to get meats here of all kinds. Great prices, quality products.

Jim Zuppe: Best steaks

Jillian Rice: Excellent service and tasty meats!

The Pantry: what do users think?

Kethnie Moreau: Amazing. Just amazingThank you Bruce. Definitely worth it. Would take another class if I was in town longer!Class is perfect for beginners and people who enjoy being in the kitchen all the time! They have rotating classes that focus on knife skills, brunch, dinner and others focused on locations like Italy France etc. the themes are beautiful. I took the step into spring class they focused on the beautiful local veggies of the area. Anyone can throw a steak on the grill but to make veggies sing is an art form! Learned so many techniques today. Chef Bruce is an amazing teacher and his team was amazing. Service from start to finish.Hand hygiene is high! So everyone felt comfortable. Very clean. Very comfortable space. Open for questions, jokes and learning. Would definitely take another class here at the pantry.

Skip Ferderber: This is one of Seattle's premier cooking schools. Afficionados know that when The Pantry posts its cooking class schedule on the Internet, bookings per class may be gone within the hour, Seriously! Tonight I attended my second class, a 3-hour hands on session on three different Thai noodle dishes. What a treat to cook and taste real Pad Thai that wasn't made with ketchup. Ugh.

Gina So: The classes are great for beginners. I would recommend looking up who's teaching the classes because some of them can be enjoyable or mediocre.

L Coffee: Loved the experience of a cooking class. I know the price point may not be accessible for everyone, but it is a great experience of learning and you have the opportunity to eat together and enjoy what you cooked at the end of the class. I went on my own and easily met the people around me. Everyone was very inclusive and accepting.I took their Fall Farmer's Market class and am excited to take another in the future. I loved learning how to use local foods that are in season to make some delicious well-round meals. you receive a copy of all the recipes as well. I later made the delicious soup as well as the pear deserts at home on my own.

Patricia Melnicki: On Saturday, May 13, my daughters and I hosted a Bridal Shower for my son’s Finacee’ at The Pantry. We made fabulous noodles and feasted on the amazing beef braise Sarah prepared. Everyone loved the experience. Welcoming, warm, professional and incredibly talented. We will definitely be back for additional classes!Thank you!Pat Melnicki

Dafna Bitton: The classes are always epic. Detroit style pizza was dank

Jamie C: I love doing things in the city besides only going out to eat and drink. This was a really fun cooking class. We are locals and enrolled in the salmon class. Figured that's a good first step for PNWers. The instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable about salmon and having lived in the area my whole life, we even learned new things and new parts you can eat!I have taken cooking classes in various areas and at various companies and they are all a little bit different. This one is more collaborative where you work on one large dish per course with most of the team and all eat together I have taken others were each small group of whoever you came with makes their own three courses. It kind of depends on your personal style and how busy and involved you like to be which one you would prefer. This class is pretty slow, paced and relaxing and you get to enjoy wine while you were cooking.Another major plus is that the company is really understanding with food, allergies or restrictions and is able to help you find a class that will work best for you. I really appreciate that with my recent gluten allergy discovery. I have experience, mixed empathy with businesses and would definitely prefer to know if my allergy is a major roadblock to enjoyment and if I would be wasting my money or not. Just be honest!Overall, they change their classes every month, and I definitely would attend again !

Connor D: . The hosts provide a really fun and educational environment and there's lots of natural connection with your fellow classmates, as well as plenty of opportunities to ask questions. You get a sense that you are really learning from the experts!A common sentiment of attendees

Lennart Wong: . It is quite a different experience than having dinner at a restaurant. The people serving you also were the chefs that made the food. So you can ask them about the food and how they made it. The food were so delicious! I think I am hooked!!!

James Mbattiah: Good services

Maelca Duncan (MAELCA): It’s fun to watching there’s a lot selections of fish and it’s fun watching the vendors throwing and catching fish

megan Freier: Friendly staff and wonderful steaks.

Hana Rozekova: Service is always great, but it's a bit spendy (:

Tommy Sanders: I was blown away with the beautiful cut of meat first time I shopped here. Way better than the place I was going. It even impressed my very picky spouse that only seems happy eating filets at Daniel's.

Emily R: . Prices are probably a little higher than QFC but very fair considering the quality of the meat here.

Leon Littlejohn: Have been here multiple times since moving downtown and Dan & Joe's is hands down the best butcher I have found in Seattle staff is friendly helpful and very knowledgeable the have the best cuts and the hard to fond exotic meats overall awesome place

star delucca: Came upon this place while in the market and so happy we did. The gentleman at the counter was so kind. Great service. As tourists we couldn't really get meats but we could get meat sticks. They were so good. My husband went for the spicy stick and I opted for the maple bacon. They hit the spot. A great snack to grab while exploring. You will find this shop just to the left of the famous fish throwing place. Stop in!!

Dennis Lundstrom: I’ve always wanted to visit Pikes. Don & Joe’s was the highlight. Try their pepperoni and smoked cheese as a walk around snack! Super yummy and excellent customer service!

Winnie Prokopeuf: I have been going there for years. The butcher's are great and everything is fresh.

Ngoc Bao Hồ: Can I ask do you have sell wild boar meat?

Lex M: . I also like that they are usually well stocked and I can get different types of meat

Robbin Murdock: Amazing service. The meat counter is always fresh. Don't forget to pick up jerky and pepperoni sticks.

Liza: Amazing staff, they were really helpful and we got great quality meat!

Amy McDonald: The meat is really high quality! They have adobada marinated meat and it is delicious! Everyone is super nice too!

Anthony B: I strongly recommend the EXCELLENT tamales!!! My partner and I have had their tamales multiple times, and each time, the different flavors of tamales have been consistently delicious! In fact, the tamales remind me of the homemade ones I get from family in my hometown around Christmas! The salas are also very good! The folks working there have also always been super welcoming and friendly, and there is a great selection of reasonably priced meat. Overall, El Paisano is a great local butcher shop.

Elizabeth Perez: The tamales are so delicious! I order for work events at least once a year and they are always quite the hit! Gracias por un excelente servicio.

Kim Lavoie: I had a FABULOUS nonalcoholic cocktail, the name escapes me, but it was definitely the best NA I've ever had. The mouthfeel resembled real alcohol. Very impressive. My butternut squash soup was very flavorful, but for my tastes was a bit too thick. My date's cauliflower steak was not tender, but otherwise tasty. The management did not end up charging him for it, which was commendable.I would definitely return to try their steaks and more cocktails!

Metropolitan Market West Seattle (Admiral): what do users think?

Leah Schulz Living In Seattle: Breakfast Brioche Sandwich for $5.99 is the best kept secret, plus The Cookie!

Tamara Smith: I prefer PCC, but it has a nice selection. Convenient, but very expensive.

Shannon Beeman: Always quality customer service and quality products!

Stephanie Allen: The people in the floral section are incredible and have made me a loyal patron. Their flowers are always lovely and the folks there are informative and super helpful.I do my normal grocery shopping at a more budget-friendly store, but the produce, salad bar, and meat station are very much worth it.

Julie Paley: Amazing selection and service!

David James: I made the mistake of shoplifting at this location last December the manager on duty asked me to kindly put back the items as he saw what I did and I complied then he proceeded to buy me dinner at the deli. This is one of the nicest people I've ever met, I hope he's able to read this. He also should be promoted to night time manager if he isn't aleady. He has gray hair, and a grey beard, and probably in his 60s. I'm gainfully employed and no longer homeless thanks to Seattle, love to all thanks. Needless to say won't happen again.

Liz Santos: One of my favorite grocery stores in West Seattle! Fresh produce and an excellent selection of cheese. I can buy products that you can't find in any other grocery or specialty store. Also, delicious soups and entrees can be purchased at their deli if you don't feel like cooking, and don't forget to pick up one of their amazing chocolate chip cookies!

Margaret: Great market with hard to find items, delicious prepared meals as well. Their floral department have such a lovely selection, and you'll always find a special bouquet ready to go.

Loyd Watson: Great shopping and friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Fischer Meats: what do users think?

Tammy Best: Always good customer service and excellent meat.

Jess Carmichael: Whenever we need to stock up on meat, Fisher's is our first stop. They've got everything from an impressive selection of jerky to those incredible pepperoni sticks that you just can't find anywhere else. Honestly, the variety and quality of what they offer are unmatched. We've picked up steaks, burgers, and chicken from Fisher's on multiple occasions, and every single time, the flavor and quality blow us away. Cooking up their fillets at home, you'd swear you were dining in a high-end steakhouse. They know their stuff, and it shows in every cut of meat they sell.Their packages are a game-changer too. Packed with a variety of meats and chicken, they're perfect for trying a bit of everything and getting a real taste of what Fisher Meats excels at.For anyone looking to elevate their home-cooked meals with top-notch ingredients, I can't recommend Fisher Meats enough. Their selection, quality, and flavor are consistently fantastic, making any meal special.

Beverly Davidson: Always a great experience! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We love the steak seasoning the butcher recommended. It’s called Scott’s Santa Maria seasoning. So good, adds a little hickory smoke flavor.

Michele H: Always the best meat and best service.I can always rely on their products to get rave reviews from my dinner guests. Lucky to have such a store in our community.

Metropolitan Market Queen Anne (Uptown): what do users think?

Sam Nielsen: Great store, just one thing: I’m fine paying 8 cents for a bag, but please don’t charge 16 cents to double bag three items. If it’s doubled as a “courtesy” then it should be a single bag charge.

Mark Gardner: Good food especially in the deli department

Patrick Conlan: Love Metropolitan Market, and this is their crown jewel, my favorite supermarket in Seattle.Awesome produce, good deli, fresh baked goods and everything in-between.

Christian Schorm: I come from Germany and was very surprised about this large grocery store. The customers were also very friendly to me if I had any questions. I was impressed by the variety and quality of the products.

S Bear: Best atmosphere and selection of quality food in the neighborhood.

S E: Always the best in town. They have the best produce of any Grocery store in Seattle. You won't find better fruit or veggies anywhere else. This is literally the main reason I go here.

Md Emon: and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide variety of products to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip a breeze. One thing that stood out to me was the produce section. It was filled with fresh and locally sourced fruits and vegetables. I also appreciated the selection of organic and healthy options available throughout the store.Another highlight was the deli and prepared foods section. The food looked and tasted delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I could tell that the ingredients used were of high quality, making for a satisfying meal.Overall, I highly recommend Metropolitan Market Queen Anne
