Heather A Adams: This is a great local butcher with lots of options and even more wisdom on how to cook, prepare and select meat. They don’t just have protein. You can also find cheese, eggs, vegetables, bones, sauces, rubs, spices, jerky, landjaeger‘s, and much more. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and there is enough differently prepared meat here to keep your mealtime interesting for a long time.

As tourists we couldn't really get meats but we could get meat sticks. They were so good. My husband went for the spicy stick and I opted for the maple bacon. They hit the spot. A great snack to grab while exploring. You will find this shop just to the left of the famous fish throwing place. Stop in!!

Bellevue Fine Art Repro: Whenever I'm in Columbia City I always have to stop by Bob's Meats and get something. A real local butcher with great meats.
Jordan Banasik: I absolutely love Bob's. I've been twice and both times had amazing staff help and amazing products! I used a smoked turkey leg in my collard greens and a boneless chuck roast for a stew. Prior to that I bought a lamb of rack from them. Always fantastic meat and flavor, my Texan heart feels warmed with their delicious offerings.

We stumbled upon this wonderful little butcher shop after learning about how they’ve been consecutively open since the late 1800s from a tour with the Seattle Architecture Foundation about historic landmarks. We purchased chicken thighs, Vietnamese style marinated pork skewers and a Delmonico steak. Tasting each now as I type this review. It’s a piece of old Seattle, which means great service and quality product at reasonable prices. We will be back.
l kol: I love Bob's! They have a nice selection and consistently reasonable prices.They are also convenient, because I live in the neighborhood and can walk from my house to Bob's to pick up meats for any random meal. I like their hours too - they stay open later and for more total hours than several other shops in the area like the bakery.They are a small shop and can get busy sometimes, but even when they are busy, the line still moves reasonably fast. They have a lot more variety than a normal grocery store. You can even order unusual meats that can be hard to find elsewhere in the city. The customer service is always good too. They are always willing to give advice and answer questions as long as they are not super busy. They often recognize me as a regular customer now and sometimes give me small extra benefits for that.Bob's is the best!

My mom comes all the way up from Olympia to get it in large quantities for her working farmdog. I've gotten ground rabbit from them for years for my cats, as well as gorgeous steaks, eye round for home-made beef jerky, and my friend gets all her meat from them for her nearby restaurant.They're friendly, informative, and they work together and treat their regular customers like family.

It's definitely not BBQ, but a tasty smoked meat shop with delicious prepared options. I pick up a whole guanciale everytime I visit. It has that subtle smoke and rosemary flavor...yum. Great for carbonara. it's a small place. People are personable. Don't go if you're in a hurry or need something quick. Go when you have time to appreciate the effort, skill and love put into the prepared food options. Or go and check out some of the meat options you can purchase and prepare at home.

Ilan Bloom: Very nice meat and fish plus other gourmet food and wine. Love their smoked and candied salmon. Tasty beef jerky but they use nitrites as a preservative so I avoid them. Have dog bones. Good marinaded beef and chicken, ideal for the bbq. The prices are very high. Higher than choice meat and fish at PCC and not organic. It’s the place you go to get quality, not save money.
Steven Freitas: This place is top notch! I love going here. Always friendly employees even when there are stressed with a ton of customers. They will give advice on cooking there wonderful products. My favorite is the country bacon ! I was there shortly after they opened on Christmas Eve. They did a hell of a great job. Not only was the place packed. But the parking lot was as well. It was crazy busy. And the great employees did there best. They walk you through the entire process the same employees start you sell and ring you up. And yes I tip them. Tomahawk was smoked to perfection, juicy, and medium-rare. And the sides? We loved 'em all. The meal easily fed three hungry adults and a ravenous 7-year-old, and we were stuffed!Definitely a favorite spot of mine. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out—go check it out!

The tofu bahn mi was crispy and incredibly good. The bulgogi melt was INSANE. I’ve seriously never had a better melt. Keep in mind they don't serve much in the way of vegetarian food and the menu is limited

Steve Hiday: This is my go-to spot for carnivorous needs! They have all kinds of meats in a large amazing display case. I get my steaks, sausage, and thick-cut bacon here all the time now. They also have some interesting wines and sauces.My favorite things here are actually the beef bones I pick up for my dog. They will cut large bones into smaller pieces to order.
