eddy wong: Our family came from out of town and heard about this Brazilian ayce steak house. Yes, news travels all the way up north to Vancouver bc folks.We came for dinner. Yes I can understand the premium price. You are getting 17 different cuts of meats and seafood is included like the salmon and prawns. If your a foodie and love variety this is a great place. I certainly enjoyed it with each bite smiling away.If you just want the salad bar you can opt for that and the price will be cheaper. The bar is nice too. From stews, rices, many types of salads, cheeses, and meats, it’s hard to disappoint patrons. My family and I definitely loved our first experience here.My favourites were all the meats and seafood. The grilled pineapple also hits different. Smokey and savory.4 adults and a 3 year old child. Came out to $66 each plus $10 for the child before tax and 20 percent gratuity. The service we had is incredible. The staff was very attentive. We were served by a young gentleman and a pretty slim lady with dark hair.I would definitely return here again. From the valet greeting, to the hostesses, the menu with my man’s name on it for his bday, to the perfect table overlooking the fire, to the rose petals on the cloth, to Luca, our server extraordinary. Wow! Our meal was perfectly prepared. Best steak I’ve had in Seattle. The two gentlemen who filled the water and cared for our table were attentive and friendly. Cesar and another person. When it came for dessert- which I saved room for- the bananas foster was prepared by Kirin, the GM. It was so smooth and delicious. Amazing. My guy got a tour of the kitchen he enjoyed and we may go back to learn how to prepare the bernaise sauce. So, if you have a chance - go. I will most definitely be back. Angelina: We visited El Gaucho for a birthday celebration and were pleasantly surprised by the rose petals on the table and the customized menu. Server was extremely knowledgeable, he mentioned he had chef experience and could guide us through recommendations, and very friendly, and food was very well cooked. The Caesar salad was a fun experience; it was served tableside and our server explained each ingredient as he added it. Prices are definitely on the high end, but we both considered it worthwhile for the quality.

Marina: Been here twice for special occasions. Most recent was a birthday dinner with four people.The atmosphere is very nice and multiple servers per table ensured the drinks kept coming.They work on a whole animal approach meaning the cuts of meat run out as the dinner service continues. So if you want all the cut options make your reservation for early dinner.This is a fun place for special occasions.
Sarah G: I have sensory issues and they accommodated my needs, which is a huge deal. We got put in an area that was a little more private and I appreciate them taking the time to do that. Food was excellent and well thought out, steaks were cooked to perfection, and wine choices were superb. We went for my mothers birthday and they gave her a small candle and a hand written card. Staff wished her happy birthday and were nothing but kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. There were so many thoughtful touches to our meal it made the night truly special. This is hands down the best restaurants in Seattle.

Every interaction is polite, attentive and professional.We have gone to Altura for my birthday two years in a row. We will be going again for our anniversary in two months.Both experiences, the food and presentations were beautiful and delicious. Each menu was a different experience with a few staples we loved from our previous visit. Everything is amazing, there wasn't a single item or dish we were even slightly disappointed by. The same can be said for the drinks, wine and dessert.A perfect place for a special night out. They've made my birthday feel really special each time and we're so happy every time we visit. Coonoor Behal: This place is out of this world, I can't believe I don't see it on more "Best of" lists for Seattle. I prioritize "event meals" in my life and this is easily in my top 10 ever. Was fortunate enough to get off the waitlist and take my parents there for Christmas Eve and it was a delight start to finish. Food is just jaw-droppingly moan-worthy, every single item took our breath away. I got the wine pairing and loved it...they for sure snuck in some extra wines for me too but didn't make a big deal out of it! Service is lovely and clearly professional but also relaxed. Love the look of the place too, more like a taverna rather than a stiff, white table cloth place you'd imagine at this price point and quality.

I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.

My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.

Easily in the contending for the best steaks in the city, great service, and a luxury feeling atmosphere that does not feel cramped or overloaded.We had 4 different steaks that were all fantastic in their own unique ways. One of the steaks was undercooked a bit from what was ordered while another was overcooked from what was ordered, but they were all very good regardless. The sides were hilariously large and a delicious complement to the slabs of meat that we had.Our server was absolutely fantastic, we enjoyed their service. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars for service is an interaction that we had with one of the sommelier. One of the women in our party had ordered a bottle of wine, it was a wine she was excited about finding on the menu. Instead of the sommelier having her taste it, he had her husband taste it, who could do well enough to ensure it wasn't spoiled, but that is not the point.

We started with the steak medallions which were seasoned great with a generous portion especially for two people.For dinner I got the lobster which was huge and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were delicious, as well. My husband got a steak combo which came with a filet, American wagyu filet and a Japanese ohmi filet, all 4 oz. It was a great way to taste the difference of all three and was a ton of food. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.While the milk pork was a bit unconventional and leaned towards the sweeter side, it didn't quite hit the mark for me but it was wellk prepared. I'm intrigued to explore their dessert offerings on a future visit, as there was unfortunately no room left after our satisfying meal.The ambience, with its tasteful Italian-inspired decor, transported us to Italy, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Lamb, steak were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Reviewer: We had such a great experience and definitely plan on returning if we are back in town! I’m coming from out of state to visit family and this was the place that they said we HAD to try! Definitely was not expecting the food to be as good as it was! Service was terrific! Our waiter was training in a waitress and they were both really polite. They created such a pleasant experience for us and I can’t say enough good things about them. I also enjoyed the old doors that they used for decoration. I thought that was very creative and a great way to use the old doors instead of throwing them away. Now what did we order? We ordered the Picnic because we wanted to try a little bit of everything. Definitely worth it. We all got to try everything and we still had plenty of food to snack on later if we got hungry. If you can’t make a choice and you want to try everything then I would totally recommend ordering this as well. That way you can give everything a shot and see what you like best. I have photos attached of the picnic but unfortunately my family started to dig in before I could snap a picture. So to wrap up my thoughts, would I recommend this place to someone? YES. I do plan on returning when back in town. I found it to be a great environment to share a good meal with loved ones.

While this place is a swanky classy steakhouse, as them for their secret vegan menu which always features rotating dishes. Today’s choice was the ravioli and the portions were HUGE and delicious! Marcus Isnard: Amazing food and service on my last visit. I think it was one of the best restaurant experiences in Seattle. The empanadas and Milanese are some of the best I have ever had. I want to say a big thank you to the owner who was helping the stuff by taking orders, cleaning tables, and serving food on such a busy night when there were issues with reservations. The entire staff was also great. I definitely will be going back for another visit soon. Be sure to try something with the Chimichurri sauce.
Tori Twine: Delicious Argentinian food! I had been to the bakery before, so I was eager to try the restaurant portion of the business. The empanada and Langostinos were flavorful, and the bread was fresh. Loved the decor inside the restaurant as well. The staff was very friendly and checked on us often.We had a dinner reservation and the restaurant was busy when we walked in, so it took a while to get seated and have our orders taken. Our service became much faster as people finished their meals so it may have just been a staffing issue due to the dinner rush. This didn’t tarnish our experience at all and we would still love to come back and try more of the food.

Hongyi Shen: the duck rolls are divine, but at $16 for 2 rolls, it's practically $4 per half a roll. If you believe you're getting the fine dining experience, it could be worth it. just giving a head's up.the goat curry was similarly very yummy! it's rare to find goat meat dishes - one of the healthiest meats you can consume. that said, goat meat is very tough, and while the meat is very nicely pulled and shredded in the curry, it is still very tough to chew on. ive not had many other goat dishes to say it's untypical of other goat meals, but again, another heads up. other reviews have also commented on the price. i personally think it can be reasonable depending on the kind of experience you think you're getting, but the portions aren't big for sure.
Herakles Li: Came here for their Valentine's Day set menu. The food was really really good. The chili crisp stroganoff which is available on their regular menu was one of my favorites. Just a bomb of flavor and the potato cakes were a wonderful texture and something I wish I could find in a store to take home and make.Definitely a worthwhile stop if looking for a modern fusion twist to classic Asian dishes and/or a slightly fancier date night spot.
David Tauber: Such a great place for a wonderful meal. The vibe is awesome, the food is outstanding, and our server was such a nice guy. He even got my friend the paint colors they used in the restaurant… above and beyond.We loved the fresh rolls. Cocktails are good, but if you like boozy tasting cocktails… you won’t be finding them here.Visit!
Justin Soliz: This is one of the better spots in Seattle. Well executed, creative French Vietnamese fusion dishes with wonderful flavors and texture.As a bonus, they have a somewhat small but strategically stocked wine selection including many great French burgundy's and Chablis which can be harder to find amongst the typical wine list saturated with Oregon producers.
Lucia Villarreal: The food is the standout star of the restaurant. I came here for diner to catch up with family. The sticky rice dumplings were incredible, I’ve been thinking about them ever since I had them. The crispy duck fresh rolls were perfect as well, with beautiful textures and flavors. They had good N/A drinks as well. The dessert was spectacular as well, with the vanilla duck egg custard being the stand out star. The playing was beautiful and the food delicious. The chocolate crème torte was good as well but less unique. My one complaint was that it is quite noisy but I also visited at peak dinner hour on a Friday night.Dietary restrictions: They had a lot of non-alcoholic beverage options!
Stavros Macrakis: I enjoyed Stateside. My first course was crunchy chili garlic prawns, which were fantastic. I really enjoyed the prawn taste, and the crisp chopped garlic was a great complement, as was their home-made sriracha. Five nice prawns.The goat curry was less exciting. I expected the flavors to be more distinct, but the dried green beans weren't very prominent and the dish was very brown and stewy. The portion was generous.Wine service was good -- I asked to taste the Cab vs. the Syrah, and they happily obliged. Perhaps that sort of service explains the high price.

Jeff Hinman: was attentive and so informative of all the establishment had to offer. I had the Kubota Pork Rib Chop which was tasty, but my fiance got the Jidori Chicken which was DELICIOUS. The brussel sprouts are so good with the jam on them too. The staff were nice enough to bring us a nice coconut ice cream for our anniversary and it truly was a wonderful night. Would definitely visit again next time I get a gift card or if I get a lot of money.Parking: There are reserves spots from 7 am to 5 pm so you should be fine for dinner.
__: Stopped in for lunch on a beautiful warm & sunny Mother's Day. We had hoped to sit outdoors on the deck but its still under construction. No matter, we were seated indoors by the picture window with a spectacular view of the marina and Mt Rainier.We went for burgers and a salmon sandwich. The burger was an inch thick sirloin patty, so meaty and juicy and so satisfying to eat, and so hearty that we could only manage to eat half.The salmon burger was perfectly cooked, tender and flaky, and so fresh. It came with tartar sauce on the side but it didnt need it, I just ate it plain.The lobster bisque is so decadent and rich and flavorful. It seems like its literally a cup of cream with lobster & seasoning mixed in.I would definitely recommend Daniels for any special occassion, and the Leschi location is without a doubt a wonderful venue that you will remember.

Heather A Adams: This is one of the DB’s that happens to be on the water, unlike the Bellevue location. It doesn’t necessarily have an unobstructed view of lake, Washington, as it is sitting in a marina, but if you get the right table, you can enjoy some of that atmosphere. The sun doesn’t shine on this side of the lake at happy hour/sunset, but it is still a lovely location in a lesser known neighborhood. The food and drinks are the typical very pricey steakhouse level that you will find.
Nisha Joglekar: Great place for a date-night or a fancy meal overlooking the water. Food was delicious and the service was great. Special mention to our waitress and the cooking staff for - we casually mentioned we would be sharing all our dishes and when we got our mains, they were split and plated on 2 separate dishes, even our soup. We were not expecting it, but appreciated the gesture.Definitely try the bacon-wrapped scallops and the clam chowder.Reservations recommended, especially for dinner.Parking: There is just 1-2 spots marked for the restaurant in the open parking lot. Otherwise you can find street parking outside or a few blocks away or there is a paid parking garage.

Jules Chapman Sin: This amazing restaurant looks over a marina on Lake Union and boasts amazing views of the lake. The wait staff is courteous and friendly, punctual without being overbearing. James Wald: so they didn't need any extra sauce. The Australian Wagyu NY Strip was cooked perfectly and was delightfully tender, with a nice grilled flavor. I didn't care for the potent sesame steak sauce. Overall, this is an impressive restaurant for the size and their attention to detail is noticed and appreciated.Dietary restrictions: No one asked, and it didn't seem like modifications would be made if requested
Anna Louie: We think the food is just alright and nothing too special. The service was also really mediocre as well. I do like the location, the ease of parking and the vibe of the restaurant, but I probably wouldn’t come back for the food alone. I have to say, though the happy hour menu is one of the best ones in Seattle if you’re looking for budget and quality.

Catloverextreme _: and it was a pleasurable experience. Great modern jazz playing at a comfortable level on the speakers and pleasing lighting and ambiance. There were 2 servers and 2 chefs. The servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen was open so you could watch the chefs prepare everything. I've cooked in this setup before in restaurants so my only gripe was at one point one of the chefs was on his phone...he used gloves while preparing the food but nothing will take me out of the moment and potentially gross me out more than a food service worker on their phone. Who knows, maybe he was checking his Bitcoin bag, it's been pumping lately, lol. I won't fault them for that, everyone is glued to their phone these days. This place is wildly awesome and I will be going back whenever possible. I'm not from the area, visit alot from Alaska so the neighborhood was not familiar to me but it was chill and safe feeling with other restaurants and bars. I was staying in the downtown area so it was about a 35 dollar uber ride one way. All in all 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
