They were able to remove and replace the plug without having to drill it out, they gave my car a quick check on tires and scheduled maintenance, and had it back in my possession that afternoon.They didn't overcharge, they didn't try to upsell, they didn't pull any sleazy mechanic moves. Lois Vallance: This particular time, I stopped by without calling because somebody scraped my car getting out of a parking spot, without leaving a note, and I wanted to know if the damage was cosmetic or something more serious. John took the time to check it out and determined that it was just a paint scrape. He also replaced a burned out tail light and discussed another minor issue I'm having with the car. We discussed when it will need service--it's past the recommended time but under the recommended mileage. I always bring my car here for service and/or repair. They always do an excellent job. They evaluate the car and carefully explain my options if they find something that's likely to be a problem. They have never tried to oversell me. Natafoo: The first time I brought my car to them the technician ended up installing a part without much care and it prevented my headlight from working. I brought in my car and photos of what I was seeing and they immediately dropped everything to correct it and I was back up and running in 10min with no charge. I was also informed that that that technician was actually no longer with them. How easily they owned up to the mistake and how quickly they corrected it was very professional and instilled a lot of trust. Mistakes aren't a big deal to me, we're all human, but owning up to it and making it right is huge. I want to trust that my mechanic will do what's right, and I'm now confident that that's exactly what they'll do. Will be going to them for all my car maintenance needs from now on and would recommend them to anyone.

I needed a pre-purchase inspection done and since I was out of town, Arrows Automotive were the only ones willing to pickup/dropoff the vehicle for me from the nearby dealership. Routinely being that it would last for at least a few weeks to a month before some other problem popped up. One of the earliest issues I’ve asked them to address is my steering wheel wobbling each time I accelerate from a stopped or slowed position. Greg’s was never able to figure it out throughout all the times I’ve brought it in, so I figured my car was doomed to have this problem indefinitely.One stop at Cmarr and my car is riding like it’s supposed to for the first time ever. Nick K: I’ve been taking my now-20-year-old BMW to Foreign Car Workshop for several years now. Every time, the service has been above and beyond. They do a great job of explaining exactly what’s going on with the car and the nature of the repairs. They work fast yet don’t sacrifice quality. Recently I needed a bulb replaced in my headlight but couldn’t manage it myself. I brought the bulb to the shop and they changed it out in 10 minutes in the parking lot. Didn’t even charge for it!I can’t recommend Foreign Car Workshop enough.

Ryan is one of the most upstanding owners I've dealt with and I cannot say enough about his work. Recently, I had a door on my old van go off the rails, to where it couldn't close. Daniel Vidal: Great people, very communicative and talk to you in a professional but casual way that is refreshing to see. Had a problem with my exhaust pipe hanging down and making my vehicle sound like a super car, but they were able to squeeze me in and fix it in a day. If you are looking at a couple of downtown mechanics, this is definitely the right one.

After having numerous issues with their work, I decided to shop around a little bit more and found Eion's.I was impressed by their professionalism and quality work, and I've never felt the need to shop around again. They solved an electrical issue that multiple shops had failed to address and also did an absolutely great job rewiring my house battery/solar setup. Everything about the experience inspired trust.Since then I've had a truly massive amount of work done to my 1985 Westy at Eion's automotive. Everything from disk brakes to aftermarket AC installation.Eion's are not the cheapest nor the most expensive van shop in town, but they are definitely quality. They have always stood by their work, and their work has never given me issues.It hasn't been a cheap journey, but my van has gone from barely running, to crushing 3000 mile road trips thanks to this shop.You can rest assured your van is in good hands at Eion's.

I’ve burned through 2 main batteries and 3 AUX batteries never being able to isolate the problem. That is until I took it to Eion’s - and then the frustration ended.He found ALL of the vampire draws - the result of a faulty radio, failing isolator & combiner, and weirdest AUX/Radio wiring seen by man. He pulled everything apart and completely rewired every single circuit, testing as he went. The resulting harness and how he did it is a work of art - and I’m an engineer who REALLY appreciates how he did this. I'm a girl in my early twenties, and a first time van/VW owner, so I was wary of either getting talked down to or ripped off. But Carson who handles calls and the front desk does the complete opposite. He always takes care to explain things thoroughly, ask and answer questions, and even has saved parts and taken pictures for me.On the first visit, they took the time to write a detailed list of repairs they would reccomend and in what order of priority based on their observation of the van and the records I got with the van upon purchase.Over the last year and a half they've done all the work. They are happy to fix little annoying things along the way like loose mirrors and aawonky license plate too.Everyone is friendly, communicative, and they all sure as hell know what they're doing.Much love to Eion's.
