Spinasse: what do users think?

Denise Tanaka: I have recently had the pleasure of dining there and must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. From the moment we were greeted by our server, who was impressively friendly without being artificial, to his insightful explanations about the nuances of Piemonte cuisine against other part os Italy, the service truly stood out.Although the tarjarin, their specialty, wasn't quite to my taste due to my personal preference for thicker and al dente pastas, the nettle risotto was absolutely divine, elevating my dining experience we never had such delicious risotto before. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. While the milk pork was a bit unconventional and leaned towards the sweeter side, it didn't quite hit the mark for me but it was wellk prepared. I'm intrigued to explore their dessert offerings on a future visit, as there was unfortunately no room left after our satisfying meal. The ambience, with its tasteful Italian-inspired decor, transported us to Italy, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. All in all, it was a delightful dining experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for another culinary adventure at Spinasse.

Ristorante Machiavelli: what do users think?

Sara Wainwright-Feldman: . There aren’t a ton of tables and the restaurant is, like the bar, cozy

Dan Jacobs: I can't say enough good things about Machiavelli. Suzette, Tracy and the rest of the staff are amazing, they make you feel like you came to their home for a meal. I'm not normally a steak eater but the filet there is life changing, be sure to get the side of veggies. I've been here countless times throughout the years, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. This is the local Italian restaurant you've been looking for. Sometimes there's a wait to get in but it's worth the wait. Enjoy!

John Wyss: This place has some of the best Italian food you'll find in the Seattle area, and the services outstanding , friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. It's a small environment and they really pack them in, and I don't think they take reservations. So I recommend you try to dine early or late. There's usually a line out the door during prime dinner hours.Given the physical environment, it's really quite loud. So I recommend this place for when you and your dining partners really want some great food. But I would not recommend it for when you really need to have easy conversation.

Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant: what do users think?

Beau Johnson: Dine In: Alex was our server, and was very patient with our inability to order food like normal people. We got our food and it was great.Takeout: On Thanksgiving, wehad take out. We grabbed a thanksgiving dinner set and ordered it early. The line was long, but they sorted it out and they were very helpful, Amber & Alex.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator for 2nd floor dining room

dana white: Food is presented as family style shareable plates. This is a family-friendly restaurant. We were a party of 6 adults and also a toddler. The food is good, and we actually had way more food than was needed. Everyone took home large serving of pasta. Service was prompt, friendly. Our server immediately brought a simple sliced strawberry and orange plate for the baby which kept him very content throughout the meal. Spicy chicken rigatoni is a must have. We also had a spicy shrimp pasta that was excellent. Dessert - brownie Sunday is super fun and very tasty. If you need a place in Seattle that can handle a larger group, food is good and still give good service, this is your pick.

Drew Stb: You must try their triple treats, spicy shrimps, calamari, and cheese. Wow, super delicious. Then their bruscheta is perfect. Fresh tomatoes and cheese.Met with their Sales Manager, Marie and she is wonderfully nice. Great hospitality and service.

Tavolàta: what do users think?

Ben Clarke: Amazing food and service! Such good pastas and Brussels. We will be back! And we got to take advantage of a great app promo while there. Only a few places in Seattle make their own pasta and it is SO worth it!Parking: Best parking is to come around 5p but gets harder after 6p and nearly impossible after 7pWheelchair accessibility: It’s wheelchair accessible

Timothy Williams: Wow! Tavolata, Belltown knocked it out of the park on this trip. Everything was amazing! The Gnocchi was delicious with just the right spice. The Salad was one of the best I’ve had and it too was a little spicy with the pistachios. The Carbonara was excellent, although a little salty. The Ragu Pappardelle was delicious! The brussels sprouts were OK. The Burrata was great! To drink, the Spicy Dead Lady was so good. It’s a Mezcal drink with some bitters and sweetness in it. McKenzie was our waitress and she did an amazing job and helped create this delicious drink and brought it to the menu. The restaurant was nice and clean and the layout was good, although it’s long and narrow. They have tables to accommodate the space, so there’s lots of seating together and your seat may be right next to another group. The servers were nice and attentive as well as helpful and accommodating. Overall, I was very impressed with the flavor of the foods and would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of spice on tasty Italian dishes.

Beth Sethi: . This sends the message that guests are welcome to come that late and still enjoy a good meal, even though the restaurant closes at 10pm. However, that was not our experience.I received a phone call during the show that the bar would close at 10, and that we were welcome to arrive earlier than our 9:45 reservation if we wanted to enjoy a few rounds of drinks. Our show ended shortly after 9 so we went straight to the restaurant, arriving around 9:20.We were seated immediately and we ordered drinks and food fairly quickly for a group of our size. After the food arrived, however, it became clear that the staff were done and ready for us to move on. No second round of drinks was offered, not even before 10. A few in our party asked shortly after 10, but by that point the bar was closed. No dessert was offered, and the server began to clear plates around 10:15 that people in our group were still eating from. They had to basically pull the plates back out of his hand. The bill was brought without us asking for us around 10:20.We probably would not have lingered much past 10:30, but the end of the meal felt so incredibly rushed and we felt we clearly had no choice but to leave. If that's how the restaurant is run, then it doesn't make sense to offer 9:45 or 10pm reservations. For a beautiful meal like what we enjoyed, and a group of our size, it makes sense to assume guests will linger at least an hour to an hour and a half.I would visit the restaurant again but only earlier in the evening. We tried a variety of dishes and every single one was delicious, fresh, and very special. If only the service had matched the food, it would have been a perfect dinner.

G.H PASTA Co.: what do users think?

Sanchit Batra: but portions are somewhat small for the priceGreat staff though

Kimia Pedram: Ask for it😉

Jack Walsh: The pasta was insanely good. My wife and I frequent Il Nido in West Seattle and I gotta say, GH was as good if not inching a tiny bit better! Perfectly cooked pasta, incredible flavors, and the soft serve dessert was a wonderful way to finish. The ambience/atmosphere could get revamped a bit with some hanging plants to accentuate the vibez but that’s my only qualm.

James “Assume Spoilers” Stark: This place has great pasta. Only downside is that it's tiny inside.Last I went my someone in my party got a random dish instead of the one she ordered. She didn't say anything to them though so they didn't have a chance to make it right. Still there was only 3 of us and virtually no one else.

Caio Cesar Trucolo: Recommended dishes Tonarelli with Black Pepper Truffle and Parmesan Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Large vegetarian selection

Natalie C: Got their vegetarian pasta, both times or was great

Phil L: A MUST VISIT.We came at the rec of a local friend. It is a bit harder to find as it is on the second floor in the corner.Got their From the Farm & Lasagne but were amazing!Try to come at 11 when they open to avoid a line!

Farhin Ali: Recommended dishes From the Farm, From the Ocean Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Vegetarian menu or section Parking space Not sure

Sultan Ahmad: Pasta Casalinga embodies the essence of rustic Italian cuisine, passed down through generations. Their concise menu offers a delightful selection: farm-fresh, ocean-inspired, or garden-infused dishes. From the Ocean 🌊:We had the pleasure of trying the salmon pasta, and it was a culinary triumph! The combination of Creste di Gallo pasta with perfectly cooked Sockeye Salmon, tangy marinated artichokes, and crispy fried capers creates a symphony of flavors that delights the palate. Each ingredient is thoughtfully selected and expertly prepared, resulting in a dish that truly embodies the essence of ocean-inspired cuisine. From the Graden 🌾:The spaghetti alla Chithra, dressed in a flavorful combination of garlic and chili oil, offers a taste of the garden in every bite. The simplicity of the dish allows the fresh ingredients to shine, with the garlic adding a bold punch of flavor and the chili oil providing a subtle kick of heat. It’s perfect for those seeking a lighter, yet satisfying, pasta dish. However, there's room for improvement in enhancing the overall flavor profile.Ambiance:Nestled away from the bustling Pike Street markets, Pasta Casalinga exudes a cozy charm. The ambiance is rustic and inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.Seating:Seating may be limited, so arriving before lunchtime is recommended. We went on a weekday afternoon for brunch so seating wasn’t an issue. You also have the option to take your food and enjoy it at the public seating area in front of the waterfront, offering beautiful views of the Big Wheel, Mount Rainier on a clear day, cruise ships, and feel of the the refreshing sea breeze. There are picnic tables available, making it a perfect spot to relax and savor your meal.Service:The service is efficient and friendly, enhancing the dining experience.Overall Impression:Finding handmade pasta, cooked al dente, is a rare gem, and Pasta Casalinga delivers just that! The noodles are delicately coated in sauce, allowing each bite to shine. 🍝👌For those who appreciate fresh, authentic Italian flavors, Pasta Casalinga is a must-visit.

geofre: Charmingly tucked away in Pike Place Market's atrium, you might side-eye the lofty pasta prices for counter-style service, just like I did, until... BAM! You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy. Have you ever had a walnut pesto with sauteed fiddlehead ferns, leeks, and aleppo pepper flakes? I can't say enough good things about how amazing it was and you get to watch the very cool, friendly crew make everything in the open kitchen. I did pass on the $14 wine pour because that's not right for lunch. That would get me a whole carafe in Italy.Vegetarian options: They always have the pasta with pomodoro sauce along with one rotating seasonal vegetarian dish.

La Vita E Bella: what do users think?

Andrew Bodenham: Our family of four from the UK visited for dinner. Walked in, no problem getting a table. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The menu was varied, with lots of classics and some good specials. Food came quickly and all the dishes we ordered were all high quality and well presented. It wasn't exactly 'oohh-ahhh-quick-take-photos' food, but it was all really nice, no bum notes. Portions were big, and we couldn't fit in a dessert, which was a pity. Overall this was a lovely meal and very good value compared to others we have had in the area. We'll be going back for more.

Nick Villanti: .We started with Cesar salad

CrystalGaiil: Visited Seattle for the first time and tried out La Vita e Bella! I ordered the ravioli with marinara and my sister ordered the penne pesto. I did not know that reservations were required but they last minute took in my sister and I! Very grateful for the service they provided with their friendly and warm atmosphere. The food came out very fast and the workers were very attentive. I will for sure be ordering from here any time I come to Seattle!! Thank you to Pedro, our server.

Xess Dx: were solid, flavourful, still moist but not a big ball of filler. My date had farfalle with a smoked salmon cream sauce. This wasn't a hint of salmon, it was bountiful and balanced and a delightful dinner. The wine list is extensive, and you can go as deep down a wine lover's rabbit hole as you like, or just go for a glass of cheap red, and either way you'll be happy. The ambiance is neighborhood. Not so fancy a polo and a ball cap is out of place, not so casual that date night attire feels too dressy. The glass fixtures and decor are fun and upbeat. Music is not so loud you can't have a conversation, but it does fill in the ambiance nicely. Please don't Tik Tok the place to hell, tell your friends, but keep it to your friends only so it doesn't become a place you can't get a table. They do have outside sidewalk seating, so I bet it'd be lovely in Summer.Local or visiting town, or definitely staying by the market, take a stroll to LA Vita E Bella. It really is.And don't skimp dessert!

Cat V: for 5pm on a Friday. We arrived early and several other couples were waiting outside for it to open. The vibe is nice, very relaxed and comfortable with a homey small town Italian feel to it.I started with the soup, which was lentil, and it was very good. It just melted in your mouth. I don’t even like lentils and I thoroughly enjoyed this. My finance got the bresaola which looked amazing and he said it was very good.We had several drinks, each of which were good too.I had the penne pesto which was great. I’m very picky about pesto and this was one of the best restaurant pestos I’ve had - it was fresh, made with pine nuts, and the cream added a lot. It was very smooth, which is not my preference

Denise Jacobs: Fantastic, authentic Italian food and atmosphere with outstanding service! We went recently to celebrate our anniversary, and Bella was a favorite lunch restaurant of mine when I worked downtown 18 years ago. As we moved away from Seattle 8 years ago, I was excited to learn that La Vita E Bella is still there and still as wonderful as I remember! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous meal and experience.

Cantinetta: what do users think?

Doris Chu: A community-style Italian restaurant that requires reservations. The reservation is open until 5pm on Friday, and the seats are filled one after another during the meal period. The service staff is very positive and has a good attitude👍Today I ordered Ricotta Ravioli. The portion was small and the price was not cheap. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to finish it when dining alone, so I omitted the appetizer. The waiter didn’t remind me about the portion size. I think this dish should be set as an appetizer. The tiramisu for dessert was delicious, recommended 👍

P C: This is a great little place that has a neighborhood feel even though there are multiple locations. The food was solid, but not exceptional. The carpaccio was overly chilled. I did enjoy the risotto as it was perfectly cooked.Parking: The parking situation is not great

Lucy Kates: Service: 5/5

Cortina: what do users think?

Candace Fujikane: Such a lovely meal! I loved the way we were repeatedly surprised by unexpected flavors. A shaved watermelon radish and toasted pistachios made the Little Gem Salad pop. The Baby Beets had an amazing layer of hazelnut pesto. There was a burst of citrus in my Ricotta Ravioli, and my husband’s flat iron steak was complemented by the just right sweetness of a beet puree. Strawberry rhubarb panna cotta was delicious. Our server Jules was very warm and kind. We almost didn't make it because the restaurant was booked online but they gave us a table when we showed up in person. Very happy we ate here! A highlight of our stay in Sesttle.

Lee Williams: Great food, but…Hidden mandatory fees on final receipt. This is 2024 - charge in your food prices what it costs to cover your costs and pay your staff

Corrina Miller: Great little restaurant in downtown Seattle. We went during restaurant week and enjoyed their special dinner menu. The foccacia bread is delicious, the meatballs and sauce are recommended, and the strozzapreti was my favorite. The gelato for dessert was a perfect closure. A trendy and modern place that was great for catching up with friends.

Altura: what do users think?

C. L.: There aren't enough good things that can be said about Altura. From the moment you enter the restaurant and the hosts greet you with a warm and friendly hello and ask to hang your coats. To sitting down and having a small hot towel brought to clean your hands. A delicious aperitif brought to start your night. Every interaction is polite, attentive and professional. We have gone to Altura for my birthday two years in a row. We will be going again for our anniversary in two months. Both experiences, the food and presentations were beautiful and delicious. Each menu was a different experience with a few staples we loved from our previous visit. Everything is amazing, there wasn't a single item or dish we were even slightly disappointed by. The same can be said for the drinks, wine and dessert.A perfect place for a special night out. They've made my birthday feel really special each time and we're so happy every time we visit. Truly something to experience for yourself.Thank you to all the Altura staff, we can't wait to see you all again soon.- Tina & Kris

Coonoor Behal: This place is out of this world, I can't believe I don't see it on more "Best of" lists for Seattle. I prioritize "event meals" in my life and this is easily in my top 10 ever. Was fortunate enough to get off the waitlist and take my parents there for Christmas Eve and it was a delight start to finish. Food is just jaw-droppingly moan-worthy, every single item took our breath away. I got the wine pairing and loved it...they for sure snuck in some extra wines for me too but didn't make a big deal out of it! Service is lovely and clearly professional but also relaxed. Love the look of the place too, more like a taverna rather than a stiff, white table cloth place you'd imagine at this price point and quality.

Vito's: what do users think?

Kav Mann: Sorry to see you go ... Another landmark up in smoke

Jesse Roberts: No visual presence on the street, so it's pretty shocking when you step into an absolutely perfect basement jazz bar. Drinks were good, food was nice, and the crowd was a fun mix of CH natives and staff from the neighboring hospitals. Great casual night out.

Steven Sorenson: Has the wild mushroom fediccini for vegitarian. Frustrating that there is no gluten free and vegan selections, but that can be rare for italian.Vegetarian options: Only the wild mushroom option, though that was good and rich. Not vegan as it ha butter, and other animal products.Kid-friendliness: Not. Carded for 21 on entry and dark surroundings.

Randy Nikel: If you were in the cast of the sopranos and then you moved to Seattle you would be in this spot every week

Ray Caputo: Try the Diavolo..... Shawn is a great bartender.... and the Ceasar is off the chart

Thomas Egan: Food was good, prices very reasonable.

Jerry S: Wonderful authentic Italian dishes. Great ambience. Relaxing experience

Michael Spalding: Loved this place. Mid century vibes and solid classic Italian food. I wish there was something like this where I lived.

Shyamala Radhakrishna: Haven't had more authentic Italian food

Mary Lynn Bryant: The venue is classic old school Seattle. You can feel the history of it and the photo collages on the walls of the back hallway are great. The wait staff are funny and attentive without being overbearing. First time having dinner and what we ordered was pretty good. I had the short ribs with gnocchi and my partner asked for a vegan version of the spaghetti with marinara. I want to try one of their specialties like the lasagna next time. That isn't gluten free, but I like the fact that they do offer a gluten free pasta for some of their dishes. We went to hear the jazz band. The house sound system was good, but the drummer had a separate amp and appeared to be playing a drum pad on his lap. It sounded like a car dragging full cans that hopped down the road. Very pingy and cringy. It seemed like he was a stand-in drummer who has to pawn his full kit. It was comical and entertaining but painful on the ears at times. Strange that nobody seemed to notice. We will go back for a different band next time.

Leah Stange: Go for the dinner, stay for the cougar.

Michelle Taylor: Super great food! It is a little dark inside but once your eyes adjust its fine also a piano and a bar!

Zachary Boyle: Great place to go for drinks with friends

Pomodoro Ristorante Italiano: what do users think?

Matthew Parlari: It is a smaller intimate atmosphere, so I highly recommend reservations. We have since moved to Montana but as soon as we know we are going home for a visit the first thing that is done is booking a reservation to Pomodoro.I could go on and on about how truly special this place is but don't take my word for it go see for yourself.Ps... Use caution with the house made habenero sauce.... It's got a serious kick.

Sarah Tyler-Peterson: Amazing food, atmosphere, and ambiance. Our server, who we later learned was the owner and chef, was phenomenal. He was personable and attentive. Definitely recommend this little gem in Eastlake! We look forward to returning to Pomodoro Ristorante on future adventures to Seattle!

Matthieu Maitre: , cozy ambiance

Joclyn Cook: This restaurant is the one and only of it's kind. It is a Italian-Spanish fusion, with fresh, modern, unique, well blended flavors. This is one of the only restaurants that I have ever come across where I was surprised by the intensity and complexity of flavors. They start you off with bread and this pesto guacamole fusion. The herbs are fresh and you can taste a hint of smokiness. Unique and well balanced. Very fresh and light. The Ceasers salad we ordered was very fresh. I mean the dressing, the fresh cut lettuce, and the freshly ground Parmesan, and the croutons were nice and crunchy. I can't get over how fresh the dressing tasted. The fresh pepper they placed on top gave it a nice bold flavor that brought out the smokey flavor of the sardines from the dressing. It was very creamy. For our entrés, we ordered the minila clams and linguine with the apricot chicken. Both had more of that smokiness and fresh herbs. The clams were exquisite with the hint of whatever the red droets we're around the rim of the plate. The chicken was juicy, sweet from the apricot, yet savory with the pomodoro noodles that was served on the side. Mixing the two paired very well. For dessert we ordered the spamoni ice cream and créme brulee. The spamoni ice cream was the best I've tasted ever. The créme brulee was fresh and had the light smooth contrasting with the crunchy sugar top.To add to the wonderful food, I can not express how amazing the service was. Very personable and kind. Gave wonderful suggestions on where to go around Seattle pertainent to our likes. The decor was light and fitting for the type of cousine.Vegetarian options: They had organic vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta available upon request. Parking: The parking is free nearby. Kid-friendliness: I brought my 4 year old and they were kind and courteous. No kid options or coloring pages, but there is food kids can eat. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. Tight fit, but doable. The bathroom, however, is not wheelchair friendly.

Shaun Kim: Good service and foods. Will go again.

Morgan: Delicious food, great service, and the waiter was very helpful and entertaining.

Ana Short: Delicious tapas and Italian food. It was 15 years between visits and the food was still amazing.

Generous Yeh: . One of our friends had their birthday and was extremely warmed as well with a delicious cake and jolly happy birthday. We came last minute unsure where to go, but were greatly pleased.Everything was good. No, everything was fantastic. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite, will definitely be back to try more and even reorder many of the entrees, no question. I could close my eyes and point at any item knowing it'll be amazing. Portion sizes were also much larger than initially expected. We figured we'd still be hungry after and are used to smaller, but expensive plates at other restaurants. We even planned out other food options but, those weren't needed at all.

Jason McColly: Fantastic menu and fantastic food. Unfortunately I'm ignorant I can't pronounce the dishes without butchering it but the food came out great and I really enjoyed the ambience. It was hotter than hell in there when we ate but it didn't get in the way of our five star dinner. Wonderful service as well. Very entertaining server.
