Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

Andrew Bell: After spending our first date and many other special dinners at Westward, we had our wedding reception under the outside tent for 25 people. The view, staff, and especially the food are the best in the city. Our guests have all said it was the best wedding dinner they have ever had. They took care of every detail to make it a perfect night, just like every other time we have dined there. It is our favorite restaurant and we cannot wait to go back!

Great outdoor seating for the warmer sunnier times and love being on Lake Union looking at the Seattle City skyline across the water. Always a fun time at Westward!

Felicity Watson: Beautiful food, beautiful service!I went here for my 21st birthday and it was amazing. It’s a more communal type restaurant where the whole table orders for each other so we all got a taste. I would definitely recommend the risotto it was perfect! The view was so pretty but the tables were a little cramped in.
Nikki Ryu Kitagaito: This is my go to place for a nice dinner / evening out. Terra Plata is fabulous food and the outdoor patio is such a great vibe. The food never disappoints!I love how they have options to "purchase a meal for a family in need" - just shows their values are so community focused. Tips are not expected but graciously accepted and retained by your server. Commissions are paid to our teams as a part of their compensation. The 20% service charge is 100% retained by the company. WA state law requires that we collect tax on all service charges.”
Michael Mahoney: Good food BUT sure wasn’t worth the price. Even though the food was good it was very pricey. Our server was Luna and she was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. Guided us through the menu and all the offerings. Our bill for drinks and food was $250 they tack on 20% to the bill it doesn’t go to the servers. The servers are on commission so I really hope they have a good base salary. Would we go again no because of the price and the food.

From the moment we were greeted by our server, who was impressively friendly without being artificial, to his insightful explanations about the nuances of Piemonte cuisine against other part os Italy, the service truly stood out.Although the tarjarin, their specialty, wasn't quite to my taste due to my personal preference for thicker and al dente pastas, the nettle risotto was absolutely divine, elevating my dining experience we never had such delicious risotto before. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.While the milk pork was a bit unconventional and leaned towards the sweeter side, it didn't quite hit the mark for me but it was wellk prepared. I'm intrigued to explore their dessert offerings on a future visit, as there was unfortunately no room left after our satisfying meal.The ambience, with its tasteful Italian-inspired decor, transported us to Italy, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. All in all, it was a delightful dining experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for another culinary adventure at Spinasse.

Huge potion though!Pistachio Gelato with Shortbread Cookie: delicious and generous serving size.Cheesecake: kind of seemed like it came from Whole Foods which I’m sure it didn’t but just not that exciting and pretty small for portion size compared to the gelato.Overall it definitely was not bad food but adding 1-2 glasses of wine to this $65 prefix menu landed us at $122 each and it was super not worth that. Kind of had to rely and the salt flakes on the cracker for seasoning. I also wish the crackers were thicker, or that there were a couple more of them.Ahi crudo - pretty good, sauces were tasty and well balanced!Delicata squash with goat cheese - this was my favorite of the appetizers. Well cooked, slightly caramelized.Burrata with beets & kumquat - beets and kumquats were sweet and sour, which complemented the creamy burrata really well.Duck pappardelle - pasta was overcooked, so it was kind of mushy. Sauce was a bit plain, but duck was nice and tender.Black trumpet tagliatelle - well cooked, and tasty! Huge portion, we ended up taking some home to save space for the main course.Scallops - sadly also overcooked, so they were too chewy. I thought the fresh blood orange slices were a bit overpowering, but enjoyed all the other components.Zabuton - well cooked, but the cut was fattier than we expected. And more weight from the nduja butter on top. It needed something more to counterbalance the fattiness. The rutabaga puree was unpleasantly bitter.Almond frangipane torte - by far our favorite course! Delicious mix of flavors and textures. Only regret was ordering soebetto instead of two tortes.Service - overall very attentive, friendly service. The check in was not quite ideal, since there's no space inside to wait for your reservation, so we had to wait outside in the cold.Ambiance - cozy and romantic.

We will be going again for our anniversary in two months.Both experiences, the food and presentations were beautiful and delicious. Each menu was a different experience with a few staples we loved from our previous visit. Everything is amazing, there wasn't a single item or dish we were even slightly disappointed by. Coonoor Behal: This place is out of this world, I can't believe I don't see it on more "Best of" lists for Seattle. I prioritize "event meals" in my life and this is easily in my top 10 ever. Was fortunate enough to get off the waitlist and take my parents there for Christmas Eve and it was a delight start to finish. Food is just jaw-droppingly moan-worthy, every single item took our breath away. I got the wine pairing and loved it...they for sure snuck in some extra wines for me too but didn't make a big deal out of it! Service is lovely and clearly professional but also relaxed. Love the look of the place too, more like a taverna rather than a stiff, white table cloth place you'd imagine at this price point and quality.

Got a little bit sad because they don't offer cocktails, just wine and champagne.But let's talk dessert – hands down the best in the USA. Everything was just lovely and delicious. Perfect for a date night. Downside, was only that if your table is located near the big window room, the person facing the window have to deal with car beams flashing from the street through the windows, they should put a curtain or semi transparent barrer. Overall? It is worth it for an unforgettable traditional, formal dining experience. Comparing Seattle prices, this place charges an honest amount of money for the high quality they are serving. I'm amazed how the gastronomic critics and Seattle food guides barely mention this place.

Aneka Zarger: I loved everything about this location. The food was delicious and their offerings have something for everyone. The food came out fairly quickly considering how busy the location was. Our waitress and the sommelier were both helpful in answering questions about pairings or dishes. I highly recommend trying their sipping chocolate as you may overlook it! While the venue is smaller and can get a bit loud due to acoustics, they do a fairly nice job of maximizing the space they have.

She served us and literally put up me asking so many questions.I had the duck and it was just as good a five sales in Vancouver BC. Just amazing.And here is the green drink I asked for. Henry SooHoo: Service was very friendly and speedy. The servers were patient and answered questions we had about the options as well as attentive about refilling beverages. The food itself was decent but I would not say special. The Turkish apricot waffles were novel but too sweet in my opinion. Even forgoing the syrup, I struggled to eat the last few saccharine bites.
Michael Williams: The service provided by the gentleman, was as good as the dish! The best, most creative rendition of lox on toast that I have had. The ricotta was a revelation. STEVE CUMMINGS: Everything was perfect. from the complimentary valet parking to the post-WW II dark wooden interior We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the service was just excellent. Attentive, but not pushy or robotic. For a hotel restaurant, prices were reasonable. Best part of our experience was the welcoming notice at the bottom of a real menu asking us not to use electronic devices or cell phones. Everyplace should have such a polite request highlighted. I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.
Swanky Christy: . Service was very good, chef came and talk to us as well as a restaurant manager and we shared our feedback. Overall we had a good experience here and as a downtown locals we will consider this restaurant when we want nice Mediterranean cuisine.
