She was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.What's even more remarkable is that Tracy accommodated me as a walk-in customer, even after closing time. Linn Zhang: Great spot, with no frills and an amazing hairdresser, especially for asian hair texture! A lot of salons have trouble with the thickness and coarseness of my hair, but Tam cuts it so well, and quickly. You can opt in/out for shampoo/styling depending on how much time you have that day, which makes for great flexibility. I also appreciate the upfront pricing, makes appointments easy and stress free.

Aplih A: After trying multiple hair salons this is the place I settled on - I’ve been going here for 5 years and always had a good experience. The only challenge is finding an appointment. There’s no system to send you appointment confirmation or reminder sent. It’s a mom and pop type shop so don’t expect high standards. If you miss your appointment for any reason, it’s a challenge. Grace is getting real busy in recent months.She always does a good job on my hair whether it’s a haircut or a blow-dry, styling for an occasion. She’s very friendly and gives a smooth customer experience, if she is available to sit you in. I always make an appointment and go but sometimes still need to wait for upto 20-25minutes as she is the only person working most of the time. There is one other person but they aren’t full time. I didn’t try their services but a family member did and they liked her service too.Parking in the area can be tricky during peaks but not very difficult. Except the waiting and parking situations, it’s a good experience.

Jazzy Loh: Highly recommended for Asian hair. Liana is experienced and highly skilled. You showed her the hairstyles you like and she will advise how to adapt the cut based on your hair texture. She will point out what went wrong with your previous hair cut and try to fix it. She doesn't judge if she knows you dye your graying hair. I know some hair stylists are incredibly rude and make me feel like I am a cheapskate dying my own hair. Times are bad and you don't want to spend like 100 dollars on hair dying service every month.
Jen: Went for the first time to get a hair cut. My hair is long and I've been to a few different salons in Seattle and always ask for the same thing but this was the first time I really loved how my hair looked! Liana's daughter did an amazing job and even styled my hair beautifully, she was so easy to talk to. I immediately got a compliment at the grocery store afterwards 😆

Paul Tyau: Mr Kim is a magician with clippers. He's the only person I trust with my hair nowadays. Never had a bad cut from this man in the 2+ years of monthly appointments. Needless to say, I'll continue to be a repeat customer!
Grant Tannert: I really like this place. I have gotten short haircuts, two block cuts, and haircuts to grow out my hair. Most of the time the haircuts are really easy to style. I think the barber is great and I really recommend this place, although I would say the price is high about 45 for male cuts.

It's nice seeing that they care about the health of their staff and clients by wearing masks. the staff is also always willing to answer my questions about what the best product would be for my hair so I always feel confident leaving with something that I know I will use. Some other reviewers have complained about the how stylists can be scheduled out but when you do such a great job they obviously book quickly and Allison ALWAYS lets me book my next appointment when I check out, so I'd wait for a good stylist that you like and then don't wait to book your next appointment. And honestly this seems to be the way it is at any salon you go to so set your expectations accordingly! I highly recommend getting your name on a wait list
Ammie Matalka: Andrea has been my go to hairdresser for cuts! For anyone who has thick hair like mine, she understands how to cut and take out weight without ending up looking like a Christmas tree or a mushroom. It takes a special technique to do so, and I’ve gone to four different hairstylists before miraculously finding Andrea at Mint. Each time prior to her, I would leave in tears because my hair was butchered and I had to go through another round of growing all the choppiness out. Lauren Carter: Wonderful experience and great haircut. I needed a change, not having had my hair cut/styled in 2 years due to health issues. Rome took time to analyze my hair and discuss options with me, being considerate of my needs. She showed me how to style my new haircut, and taught me many valuable things about hair care. My favorite thing was when she said she believed that “hair has memory” and sometimes we need to “cut off the old to get a new start.” The salon itself was very sunny, airy and had a friendly vibe. Lynne O'Brien: I have been going to Red Chair since they opened, and have been going to owner/stylist, Amy, even longer. She listens to my vision and makes it work for my hair. She suggests products that actually work for my hair. Speaking of products, Red Chair has their own line of products and the H2O shampoo and conditioner keeps my hair healthy, shiny, and smells like a creamsicle. The shop has a fun vibe and every other stylist or front desk person has been friendly and welcoming even when they are insanely busy. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can get a walk-in appointment, but you may have to plan ahead to schedule a few appointments with your favorite stylist.

She is incredibly skilled when it comes to coloring but also was super supportive when I decided to stop coloring my hair and let the natural "sparkle" come through.While I am happy that I no longer have to go in every 3 weeks as I did when coloring my hair, I always enjoy my visits. Julia is personable while maintaining a professional and efficient demeanor. Her prices are appropriate given her level of training and talent!I highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a good hair cut and style - she's even agreed to do my wedding hair in spite of not officially being in that industry any more.

They’d mentioned what a great conversationalist she is. That was a draw for me. But I also go into most things with an ounce of doubt.
